E-Recruitment Scope update

Hi Guru's,
Please guide me whether all the below details are possible to map in standard E-Recruitment,
1. Accepting resumes in auto format
2. Generating Comparison charts for the applicants
3. Short listing Probables
4. Confirming Probables post interview
5. Provision to upload credential document by selected candidates prior to joining online
Thanks,
Santosh

Hi Snatosh
1. Accepting resumes in auto format - As Andy said 3rd Party required - If your looking for resume parsing functionality
2. Generating Comparison charts for the applicants - There is a WD application where candidates profile can be compared check the list of WD applications
3. Short listing Probables - Applicant Tracking can be utilized
4. Confirming Probables post interview - same as above
5. Provision to upload credential document by selected candidates prior to joining online - enhancement need to be done ...

    When using Clip > Scale to Sequence, DO NOT have the new Scale factor in the Motion tab change the clip's scale to 100%.
    Consistent Mouse Wheel behavior across all apps in CS
    Scopes update while playing.
    Make Export and Title windows return to the previously adjusted size and placement.
    Add a command buffer, so that we can execute several commands in a row, and not wait for the app to "release", or for the first event to complete before I can proceed to the next event.
    File requests here:
    https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform

    If you want to do this correctly you need to file a request for each feature.
    Ripple Sequence and Chapter Markers is already implemented. Sequence markers are the same as chapter markers, yes? (Ripple Sequence Markers, select Marker > Ripple Sequence Markers.)
    Ability to print the Keyboard Shortcuts, or save all of them as a text file. also available. (hold ctrl+shift while opening. A button with clipboard appears)
    Keyboard shortcuts to scale image zoom in Source and Program tabs. available
    Keyboard shortcuts to increase or decrease playback resolution. available
    Make Export and Title windows return to the previously adjusted size and placement. They do.
    Some feature you posted are great. How about a eyedropper tool for the Color Matte?
    I find the Magnet for Snap quite visible. There is also this feature in the Pref to make the playhead snap.

  • EREC: Intergration with Microsoft Outlook

    Hello Experts,
    Please, how can I integrate the E-Recruting to Microsoft Outloook?
    I know that Microsoft Duet Enterprise is the currently supported Duet solution. SAP and Microsoft changed direction and now use Sharepoint with Duet rather than having Duet embedded directly in Outlook.
    What is the solution for this scenario?
    Thanks!
    Sivani

    Hi Andy,
    I need to integration with MS Outlook for calendar schedulling.
    E.G.: For Candidate Assessment, the recruiter has to plan for the interview with Hiring Manager and other staff who might be involved in the Inteviewing process,then we need to do that through the E-recruiting and update the agenda automatically in MS Outlook.
    Thanks for your help!

  • Basics of SCCM - WSUS Relationship

    Hi all,
    Just had a question about how updates in SCCM 2007 work. At a very basic level, I understand it to work like this:
    SCCM Side: WSUS syncs with Microsoft to build metadata list of all available updates > SCCM leverages WSUS metadata to provide a list of available updates visible under "Software Updates" in SCCM console >
    SCCM Admins can then created Update Lists and Deployment Packages based on the wsus metadata > Deployment Packages are applied to Collections
    Client Side: CCM client runs an update scan > CCM client leverages the machine's WUA to check available updates on the SCCM server > CCM Client makes a list of the updates that it needs but does
    net yet have installed > downloads the updates and installs them from the DP
    My question is about what source the CCM client/WUA uses to check which updates are available. Does it simply check the update packages which have been applied to all those collections that it happens to be a member of?
    Also, is WSUS completely passive in this whole process - i.e. is it merely a conduit for SCCM to source metadata about available updates?
    Thanks for any help!

    A handful of comments here:
    First, don't confuse packages with deployments. They are two different things in both 2012 and 2007. Packages are simply the binary files that ConfigMgr places on DPs. Clients download the binaries from these when they are needed. Deployments determine what
    updates are assigned to or required on clients.
    As mentioned, update metadata, basically the definition of all possible updates and how to know what systems the updates apply to comes from the WSUS instance corresponding to the SUP.
    The scan cycles kick the WUA into action to scan for updates. The Normal scan cycle is like an incremental and the re-eval cycle scans for all deployed updates to make sure that they are still installed and reinstall them if they aren't. The normal scan
    cycle is kicked off at various other times also linked with deployments.
    Finally, for using the required attribute, which is reflective of how many clients need a particular update, I think this a reactive approach that is anti-security as it reflects the past and not the current state of the environment. Granted the past may
    only be a day ago; however, in security terms, that doesn't matter. Being pro-active in this case, i.e., making all potentially applicable and in-scope updates available comes at the cost of disk space, nothing more. Thus, I generally recommend against using
    this attribute.
    As for WMI, think of ConfigMgr as a WMi automator -- just about everything that ConfigMgr does involves WMI. In simple terms, WMI is just a DB storing info on local systems.

  • AP to LWAP conversion 1242AG

    Hi Guys,
    I know this is a repeated query but this is for my peace of mind i am raising this query.
    I have an activity to convert AIR-AP1242AG-A-K9*5 to LWAP , all this AP's are in production so i have loaded the c1240-rcvk9w8-tar.124-25e.JAO5.tar image in to flash to save some time while performing turnup
    Image in AP now: c1240-k9w7-mx.123-7.JA3
    Do i need to still depend on Upgrade tool here?
    i am thinking of issuing the command
    archive download-sw /force-reload /overwrite flash:c1240-rcvk9w8-tar.124-25e.JAO5.tar
    after this write erase
    reload
    I have the dhcp scopes updated with WLC ip.
    Am i missing something here?
    Any help response is much appreciated.
    Controller: 5508

    Preparing for the Upgrade
    You must complete these tasks before beginning the upgrade from autonomous to lightweight mode:
    1. Prepare the infrastructure so that the upgraded lightweight access point discovers a controller.
    2. The autonomous access points must be running Cisco IOS Release 12.3(7)JA or later to perform the lightweight mode conversion. If necessary, upgrade the access point to Cisco IOS Release 12.3(7)JA or later. For C3201WMIC, upgrade to 12.3(8)JK or later.
    3. Prepare the controller for the upgrade process.
    4. Download the Autonomous to Lightweight Mode Upgrade Tool and the upgrade image file from Cisco.com (see the "Obtaining the Upgrade Tool and Upgrade Image" section).

  • Tektronix dpo 2000

    I am using the Labview tektronix DPO 2000 driver to read data from an oscilloscope.  I can easily fetch two channels of data, but they are not simultaneous samples.
    The Get Multiple Waveforms routine actually downloads the channels one after the other, and the scope updates the data between scans.
    How can I do something like pause the scope long enough to get two channels (1,250,000 samples each) that contain simultaneous data?
    Attachments:
    TestGetWaveform v4.vi ‏44 KB

    If you burrow into that example, you will find it defines an array of channels to read, and then reads one waveform at a time for each selected channel.  If the scope is running, the second waveform will have been taken later than the first and so on.
    I need simultaneous samples.
    Since posting, I found that you should be able to write ACQTATEFF, ON, RUN, or STOP and control the scope acquiisition.  I am about to go to the lab and try it.

  • Render Weirdness

    I recently had a render complete, but could not get video out of the card, or in the canvas. It showed black. I opened Video Scopes out of curiosity and the scope updated like there was something there when I clicked around the time line.
    My work around was to undo the render and then render in small chunks. I'd let the dialogue box show 3% and then cancel, save, and render again. Unpleasant but the piece was due to air in less than an hour, so I was just happy it was working.
    Some background. Footage was 720p60 dvcpro HD. Card was AJA Kona 2 with K-Box. Computer was dual G5 2.0, 6 gig of ram, Lacie FW800 1TB Raid.
    Effects were Sapphire S_Glow on top of S_MathOps on each shot in the sequence. Tweaked settings for each shot. Nested the whole thing and applied Nattress Film Effects 24fps.
    Disaster avoided, but I would love to understand what caused the problem.
    Tom

    did the render for the sapphire efx before nesting the sequence work? corrupt render file that might have been solved by purging the render files for the nested sequence??

  • Vectorscope difference between play and paused

    Hello there,
    I'm new to Speedgrade, when I see the vectorscope the levels of the colors are different when the video is paused compared to when the video is played.
    since I'm trying to have safe values for broadcast, which one do I follow, the video paused or the video playing?
    thanks!
    Luc

    There are settings in the Preference panel (the wrench icon) for whether the scopes update during playback or only during pause/stop, as running them during playback does use significantly more horsepower while the playback is ragging your hardware out. Most folks leave the updating for "pause" in order to assure the smoothest playback. Some folks also have AMAZING systems and can run 6k with scopes on with full-rez playback without a hitch. Right.
    Well, for the rest of us, update during pause is a wiser choice. Those figures/shapes will be accurate. Most clips tend to have a similar range through the clip ... if you've got a spot that suddenly jumps way high or low from the other parts of the same clip, well ... you might realistically need to sub-clip that bit and grade it by itself, rather than trying to mush everything into "legal".
    Of course, there is also the effect available in primaries of "Legalize ... " ... which some folks love, and others say NEVER use. If used, it's a top-layer thing. As with Adobe programs, the lower layers feed "up" to the top layer, if you put it below other things they can change the total values.

  • Updating Beans in Application Scope

    The problem is that i dont know how to update a bean in an application scope:
    in EA4 i use this instruction to update a bean property:
    // get the faces context
    FacesContext facesContext = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    // update a property in application scope
    (Util.getValueBinding("BeanName.propertyName")).
    setValue(facesContext,"text");
    and it worked ok in jsp:
    <h:output_text valueRef="BeanName.propertyName" />
    Now in version 1.0 i wrote:
    Application app = facesContext.getApplication();
    errorAplicacion = (ErrorAplicacion)app.createValueBinding("#{beanName}").
    getValue(facesContext);
    How should i update this value in application scope to be used in the jsp ?
    I use in jsp:
    <h:output_text value="#{BeanName.beanProperty}"/>
    But i receive in logs:
    Expression BeanName.beanProperty does not follow the syntax #{...}
    And the result is null
    Thanks a lot
    German

    If you are quoting your 1.0 code literally, you've got a case mismatch between "#{beanName}" when you create the value binding expression and "#{BeanName}" in the JSP page. As with most things in Java, the names are case sensitive.

  • Personal recruitment How to do new measure with function call Update IT4000

    Hi out there and happy new year to forum,
    i want to update to implement a recruitment measure (Transaction PB40). I did it already with batch input, but i guess it's much more comfortable to do with funtion module, bapi or calsses.
    After choosing the measure, the infogroup will be processed. So i guess, i just have to use the corresponding function modules to update the infotypes in a given sequence. is this suggestion right?
    What are these function modules? How to update f.e. IT4000? Does anyone has a coding snippet?
    Is it HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION?
    In our Infogroup there are also customer specific infotypes f.e. 9***. Can I use the sap standard function modules for "own implemented" infotypes?
    I also appreciate an abap oo pattern or any similar....
    Best regards,
    T

    Andy Goris wrote:
    But I don't think that it's possible to hire an application completly with function modules (there is no PERNR in the beginning so I would keep the BIM).
    The applicants already exists in system, i just want to implement a measure with exact one click!
    Otherwise there is a BAPI for applicant_create.
    I'm not very expierienced focussing the implementation in pa-recruiting. I'm really looking for a good documentation or anything like that f.e. sap press.
    Andy Goris wrote:
    ... but why would you use the old recruiting database? This is hardly used anymore.
    What are the alternatives to it. (I'm not looking forward to upgrade releases or using wd4a or webgui). we are on ecc 6.0 There is already a lot of z-coding in recruitment. We are also using an self implemented e-recruiting approach

  • Getting Scopes to update in real time....

    So, I know I can set the Program monitor to scopes, but then I lose the program.   I know I can set the reference monitor to scopes and leave the program in the program monitor, but then the scopes don't update in real time.  Arrgghh!!!!
    Any way to do this, or is this yet another feature request issue.....?  I used this all the time in FCP and it's kinda lame not having it.

    Really? I figured it was a memory issue, and that if you have a smokin fast machine that they would update in realtime. Guess not...

  • E Recruiting _does the line manager able to view updated Requisition

    Hi
    I donu2019t have MSS- e Recruiting service at present. Please can you clarify the following? Thanks in advance.
    A Line manager submits the requisition on electronic form. The data submitted by the manager updates the Requisition. Then Recruiter added the some more information on the Requisition.
    The question is that does the Line Manager able to see the additional information provided by the Recruiter on the Requisition.

    Robin,
    This is how it works. In MSS the manager creates the requisiton request and fills certain details. Then it is forwarded to the recruiter. The recruiter then completes and publishes the requisition.
    After this point the manager can view applications/candidates assigned to the requisition but not requisitions.
    The requisition request is an HCM Processes and Forms frame work and it can be found in the UWL of the manager.
    hope this helps.

  • E Recruitment candidate status update report

    Hi Friends,
    As per the standard process candidate staus can be updated for any activity based on the design of the workflows, due to some reason some of the events have'nt triggered for some time, so that it won't update the status as per the design,
    Now user wants to update all the relevant status at one instance, so we are developing a custom report to update the candidacy status manually for specified period by considering the application status in table  HRP5132 and update the same status for candidate in candidate information through HRP 5133.
    So when user wants to change the status of candidacy for any activiy, he can choose and generate the report to change the status of the candidate.
    Kindly provide your suggestions for the same.
    Regards,
    Venkat Charan.

    Hi,
    the candidate status is stored in Infotype 5102. The candidate status declares if a candidate released his profile for pool search or not. A bit strange is that there are 3 values for the status - one for not released, and 2 different values for released - let's just say this is e-recruiting history.
    Applications and assingments to requisitions (akaCandidacies) have their own independent status. Stored in their infotypes 5132 (Application) 5133 (Candidacy).
    All status are domain value lists - so they cannot be customized.
    Hope that answers the question.

  • How can I retain updates made in multiple locked rows and override scope rollback defined for row locking purposes ?

    I have a set of stored procedures in SQL
    One of which is called to build a list of entries to submit to a web service
    Those queries are called by identical processes running on different machines, so to prevent duplicate processing we lock rows that are presently being processed.
    BEGIN
    TRAN TRAN1
    SELECT t.[TransactionId],t.[ContentIdentifier]
    FROM [dbo].[Transactions]
    t WITH(READPAST,
    UPDLOCK,
    ROWLOCK)where
    (t.Quarantined
    <> 1)
    COMMIT
    A Second stored procedure simply updates the Quarantined flag.
    My C# code
    TransactionOptions transactionOptions
    =
    new
    TransactionOptions();
    transactionOptions.IsolationLevel
    =
    IsolationLevel.ReadCommitted;
    transactionOptions.Timeout
    =
    new
    TimeSpan(0,
    10,
    0);
    using (TransactionScope
    scopeMain =
    new
    TransactionScope(TransactionScopeOption.Required,
    transactionOptions))
    TransactionsReady = DAL.GetFilesForProcessingByServiceType(i);
    using (TransactionScope
    scopeSuppress =
    new
    TransactionScope(TransactionScopeOption.Suppress,
    transactionOptions))
    foreach (var
    Transaction in TransactionsReady)
    { try
    returnData = proxy.Submit(stuffToProcess);
    using (var
    scopeInner =
    new System.Transactions.TransactionScope())
    DAL.QuarantineTransaction(Transaction.TransactionId);
    scopeInner.Complete();
    scopeSuppress.Complete();
    scopeMain.Complete();
    The problem I experience is that if I have the Transaction Scope scopeSuppress uncommented, then the QuarantineTransaction stored procedure deadlocks.
    However if I comment out the ScopeSuppress, while the process then works, if it is interrupted mid-way, then all of the Quarantine flags get reset, meaning the entire batch of items will get re-submitted next
    pass (this is not desirable).
    What I actually want to occur, is for the Quarantine flag to be retained on all processed records so that even if the program terminates unexpectedly, processed items remain processed but all the row locks are
    released.
    Does anyone know of a way to achieve this ?

    The hour is late where I sit, so I don't have the time to dive into this in detail.
    However, if memory serves, TransactionScopes defaults to Serializable isolation level, which may explain the deadlocks you are getting.

  • Cfm template updating cfc variable scope

    Don't know if anybody's run into this before, but I ran into a strange issue with the variable scope in a cfc.  Basically, I have some application settings stored in a database table, and then I have a cfc saved to application scope in which I store the contents of the table in a variable scope query.  Within the cfc, I have a getter function that preforms a query of queries to pull the data I need.  I then have an admin screen within the application to update the settings.
    This is (very generally) what my cfc looks like:
    <cfcomponent  name="settings.cfc">
         <cffunction name="init" returntype="settings">
              <cfset setAppSettings() />
              <cfreturn this />
         </cffunction>
         <cffunction name="setAppSettings">
              <cfquery name="variables.qrySettings" datasource="#application.dsn#">
                   SELECT *
                   FROM SETTINGS
              </cfquery>
         </cffunction>
         <cffunction name="getAppSettings" returntype="query">
              <cfargument name="id" />
              <cfset var local = structNew() />
              <cfquery name="local.qryResult" dbtype="query">
                   SELECT *
                   FROM variables.qrySettings
                   WHERE ID = <cfqueryparam value="#arguments.id#" cfsqltype="cf_sql_numeric" />
              </cfquery>
              <cfreturn local.qryResult />
         </cffunction>
    </cfcomponent>
    In onApplicationStart in Application.cfc, I have this line:
    <cfset
    application.objSettings = createObject("component","settings").init() />

    Sorry, accidentally posted before I was done...
    Basically, the problem is that I have an admin screen that updates the settings.  I call the getter function in a cfm template, and I save the result to a variable called variables.qrySettings (same name as in the cfc) like this - <cfset variables.qrySettings = application.objSettings.getAppSettings(url.id) />.  For some reason, this seems to overwrite variables.qrySettings in the cfc.  Any ideas????
