E-Sourcing Customization Help

Hi All,
We are planning to customize the E-Sourcing application. Can any one guide me from a technical perspective how we can achieve this? Do i need to decompile the class files and deploy? Any help in technical documents is much appreciated.

There are only 2ways you can get access to the SAP E-Sourcing Config guide
1) Incase you have the access provided by SAP for the on-premise or the hosted model, you can get this document in the system itself, in the RG guide section
2) Attend the SRM300 RKT for SAP E-Sourcing 4.2 for the technical consultant, there are 2 courses, one for functional and the second is for the technical consultant
anyother means of getting access to the document is not ethical
Please contact SAP Education for the same

Hi guys.
Similar problem here.
Setup Assistant or Migration Assistan can not see my external drive used for time machine backups.
The facts.
Downloaded Mavericks upgrade from App Store and made a bootable usb.
Booted from the usb and erased macintosh hd to make a clean install of the OS.
Made the fresh installation and when setup assistant appears my external drive on which i previously did all backups with time machine will not appear at all. Instead I get "looking for sources" with no success on seeing the external HD.
Same happens with Migration Assistant once logged in to the fresh OS.
The external HD is not recognised and won't come up.
I 've also tried the Restore Time Machine Backup option by booting from the bootable USB.
When I choose my external HD which now appears I get the message that no OS X system backups are available.
Meanwhile I can see and open the drive once logged into the OS and the backups on the drive seem ok. However I can't spot the applications folder. Only users folders.
Are my backups corrupted? How can I restore the files from the external HD

CS3 Color Customizer Help

I'm trying to duplicate the customizer found here:

But make a few tweaks to it. I'm using CS3 and AS3 to build the file but really am a novice with working in any kind of action script. I was able to get the file this far:

There are really 4 changes I'm trying to figure out.
1. need to figure out the if statement that would change the color on the logo to white if the background was dark.
2. need to figure out how to do the "embossed" colors which I assume would be an overlay of a graphic
3. need to figure out how to get color names to show. I can get it display the hex numbers, but not sure how to change the name
4. I'd like to eventually figure out how to have the color pickers transfer the color to an html dropdown. I actually wouldn't mind getting rid of the color box pickers if I could get the dropdown to feed the flash file.
Are there any tutorials or online help sources that you'd suggest to accomplish these things?

Now it's work properly.
But I declaired classes ISelectionManager and ITextEditSuite in WRPDialogController.cpp.
That's mean:

don't embeded.
What is this mean? Help please with this now!

Application Server Data Source settings help needed (10.1.2.0.2)

Can someone tell me what maximum values can I set in the following properties under Connection Attributes when I define a DataSource on
Application Server. I have almost 25+ web application deployed on my 10.1.2.0.2 server that all uses one data source I have defined. Now the issue is the number of requests
are very high and every now and then I get timeout error when trying to get the database connection. At one particular instance at peak time I may get over 200+ requests that
do some databse connections etc. Following are my current settings. But need to increase some more but wondering what are the maximum values I can have. I have only one server 10.1.2.0.2
Connection Retry Interval (seconds) = 5
Max Connection Attempts = 3
Cached Connection Inactivity Timeout (seconds) = 30
Maximum Open Connections = 60
Minimum Open Connections = 10
Wait For Free Connection Timeout (seconds) = 15
What other properties can I have to make use of datasource effectively.

</data-sources>I also tried changing max-connections="0" it did helped but still after sometime I get timeout while connecting to the database. Don't know if it's with SQL Server that is not letting that many concurrent connections/sessions or something on the Application Server side.

During Adobe Flash 11 install, I received the error "cannot contact reliable source." Help?!

While streaming videos on YouTube and Hulu, I noticed a signifant amount of lag and buffering. In the past I've resolved this issues by updating my Flash player (even though I typically am on the newest version). Today I tried to install a Adobe Flash 11 and I received the error, "Cannot contact reliable source" amongst a few other errors (I cannot recall what they said). I went to the troubleshooting section, uninstalled my current Adobe Flash, and tried to download version 11. I keep getting the aforementioned errror. Now rather than a lag time and buffer issue, I cannot watch any videos at all since my Flash player was uninstalled and I cannot download the new version. I'm currently on a relatively new iMac with OS X version 10.8.4. I don't think there is problem with my actual computer. Can anyone help?
PS: I have an unhealthy affinity for catching up on terrible TV shows on Sundays so I'm saddened by my inability to watch Hulu Plus.

Cross company transactions customization Help - Urgent...

Can anyone tell me where I have to do the customization for cross company transactions,
In the scenarios
1. for materials shipped to the customer of company code BBBB, by company code AAAA on behalf of company code BBBB or vice versa
2. For materials shipped to plant of company code BBBB from the plant of company code AAAA or vice versa.
I would appreciate it, if you can help with customization and configuration steps involved in cross company transactions.

Hi Kumar,
With OBYA settings, you will be able to affect cross company code transactions through FI.
Ex. Maintenance Exp of co. code AAAA are paid by co. code BBBB. Now the affect will be as follows:
Books of AAAA:
Maintenance Exp A/c Dr and Cross Company code Clearing (say 'BBBB') A/c Cr
Books of BBBB:
Cross Company code Clearing (say 'AAAA') A/c Dr and Bank A/c Cr
The above affect will take place in books of both the company codes, when u post the document in any one set of books by mentioning the other company code as 'new company code'.

Ipod won't sync. I don't have a 'devices' section on my sources. HELP!!!!!!

I am frusturated to the point of tears.
I've been working on this thing for three hours. First it was trouble with the iTunes installation. That all got sorted out, so I hook my ipod nano 3rd gen up and NOTHING HAPPENS!!! So I sit there and look through every help topic and discover that I don't have a 'devices' section under my sources so I'm pretty much screwed. Please help me before my brain explodes. Please!

Devices is only visible in the source list when an external source such as your iPod or a CD is mounted and showing in iTunes. If your iPod isn't showing up have a look at these troubleshooting pages they may be of some help:
iPod shows up in Windows but not in iTunes
iPod missing in My Computer and in iTunes
iPod is not recognized properly by computer when USB drivers are not installed properly or are out of date

Source Code help!!!!!

Hi everyone,
I have a problem in tracing back my codes, which I have been working on for sometime. Since I have the benefit of time, I am actually looking thru some codes, (developed by ancestors of the co.), and I am unable to derive the output....Its relatively complicated as its reading the value located in the i18nGB.properties file and displaying the output.
The value is shown correctly but I have no idea how to understand how it works....

We need to find out where the getTitle method is being called from.
If you have a copy of the source, not the production environment, within the get title method, you coule create a new throwable object and then print the stack trace to the standard output.
This effectivly breaks the system but it will allow the compiler to give you a bunch of errors when ever the method is called.
Another option would be if you are using an IDE like Netbeans, you could put a break point in that method and then debug the system.
I am weary of telling you to do either of these because I do not know if you have a development environment that mirrors the production environment. And I dont want you to break something your company depends on.
It boils down to this... Somewhere in the system, there is an object that instantiates the class you posted. At some point, the getTitle method is called and the result is used to look up a value in a paramater file or property file. And that value is printed out.
If you are using Netbeans, there is a nice function that will look throughout a project to fina all uses of a method.
You will have to look through the other code to find out what class is using the class you posted.

i am trying to use MacPorts in order to use the kinect to do interactive musical applications (http://openkinect.org/wiki/Getting_Started#OS_X).

Yes, this is the issue.
Although the iPhone supports manually managing music and videos, the iPhone does not support disk mode as is supported with the iPod. You can sync music and videos, or manually manage music and videos - you can do one or the other, not both at the same time. If you switch from one to the other, all iTunes content on your iPhone will be erased first, and I believe the only way to transfer ringtones is by syncing.
Since the iPhone does not support disk mode, syncing iTunes content provides more flexibility IMO. If you are manually managing music and videos and you restore your iPhone with iTunes if wanted or needed, you must remember which songs and video that you manually transferred to your iPhone. If you make use of an iTunes playlist or multiple playlists for selected music and sync, the playlist or playlists selected under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences will be re-transferred to your iPhone without having to remember which music was manually transferred to your iPhone followed by manually re-transfering the music.
To add additional music to your iPhone, add the music to a playlist in iTunes selected to be transferred to your iPhone followed by a sync. To remove a song from your iPhone, remove the song from the playlist in iTunes selected to be transferred to your iPhone followed by a sync.
With sync only checked songs and videos selected under the Summary tab for your iPhone sync preferences when syncing music and videos, you can uncheck a song in an iTunes playlist selected to be transferred to your iPhone followed by a sync to remove the song from your iPhone without removing the song from the playlist in iTunes.

Source menu help...

On my source menu, my top rated, recently added, recently played and top 25 most player were accidently deleted. Is there a way I could get them back?
I've tried to uninstall and reinsatal but I have the same problems. they are not there.

You can re-build these playlists simply by using a "smart playlist".

Customization Help Required

We have a requirement,
When we login we have to show the list of documents in a particular folder and the document action links like checkin, checkout, delete, links needs to be against the document and not in the drop down.
Can some one please let us know how to do it.
Note: We are new to UCM and have no experience in creating the components. So it would be better if you can give us the steps to achieve this.
Also how to find out which template.resource is used in particular functionality.
Any help highly appreciated ....

Problem with creating JAVA Source. please help

In fact I have made a simple java class that return a string which represents the screen size . for example 800/600 or 1024/768 or others
but I face error ORA-29541 class string.string could not be resolved
This what i made
first i created my JAVA Source

the I Issued this sql statement to return the result that should be varchar2 that represent the sceen size(1024/768)

I do not know what is the reason for this error
and when i searched the documentation for this error i found

Cause: An attempt was made to execute a method in a Java class that had not been previously and cannot now be compiled or resolved successfully.
Action: Adjust the call or make the class resolvable
I need to know what is the problem.
And is there another way to load this class other than making JAVA SOURCE

before drawing hands of clock you could fill a circle/oval with certain color, then you'd have that kind of circle that has been filled as backgound.
you may change those dots to be small lines for 12, 3, 6 and 6 o'clock and then have small dots represent 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 and 11 o'clock
anyhow, you should study that code and see how you can modify it whitout breaking it but having it look different.
better yet would be trying to understand how it works, what any line there means and then recreate your own... this way you would learn more....
and if there are some methods or anything you don't understand, then look them up from API documentation

Program forced to close and video source vanished help

Help, i completed a wedding film then had to make a few adjustments to finalize the project then when i made the changes something happened and i had to force down the project, had a cup of tea after reloading and all footage was red and offline. I goes to my external drive J and the original video file has vanished, god i need help quick anyone please. Steve

Do you have any error logs related to the crash?
Is the main footage vanishes away from the external drive as well?
