E1000 help please, FORGOT MY PASSWORD
so i have looked many places now for this answer and have come up with nothing. i have the router plugged in for internet but do not know the password for the wireless connection. i am running a mac.
i have also tried using the standard admin or password as passwords to get in and am unable too

The Web Management password is different from your Routers security password (Wep, WPA etc)
Connect your mac directly to the router and type 192.168.1.1 from your browser. You will be prompted to login. Log in using admin as the password, leaving username blank. That is the default credentials. From there, click on Wireless then wireless security to determine your security type and password. You should also change the default password (admin) to something else from the Administration tab.
Apologies as It is not clear if you are asking for the security or the web interface login password, so I tried covering both.

Since you changed your admin password via the Install disc, your keychain passwod is stil set to the old one. You need to make the keychain password the same as your login password.
First, try opening Keychain First Aid by opening Keychain Access and going to Keychain Access (right next to the Apple menu) and coming down to Keychain First Aid.
Click Verify and see what happends. If it comes up with issues, hit the repair button.
if for some reason, you can't repair it, take a look at keychain Access asks for keychain "login" after changing login password.

Helpful Tip - Forgot Device Password....

You aren't going to be able to delete it without the correct password. If it's your ID, you can reset the password as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5625. If it isn't your ID, you will have to get the password for the person who owns the ID. There's no way around this and no one else can help.

If you restore the phone from backup on the LAST computer the phone synced with, this will remove the passcode. If you do not have access to the last computer the phone synced with, you will have to force the phone into recovery mode & restore it as a new device to remove the passcode:
Turn the phone off using the Sleep/Wake button, then the slide to power off. If you are unable to do that, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When your phone turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons. Then, leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new. In your case, you will only be able to restore as a new device. -

Options for when an iOS device gets locked because of forgotten passcode:
