I would like to know how is the training, is 5 days sufficient for each one of it.

Please do the following checks.
1) Check if the satellite system TMS is configured with three system landscape.
2) Check both to and back RFCs to the systems. Especially check if the users are not locked. Even if the users are locked, the RFC check may give you green.
3) Go to central configuration(/TMWFLOW/cmsconf) in Solution Manager system and check if the system are shown green.. If not there will be a check list to make the systems green. For example no changes should be permitted in the production system.

Virtual systems in SMSY? (Change Control Mgmt. & Change Request Mgmt.)

Dear all,
We plan to implement Change Control Management (CCM) and Change Request Management (Charm).
At the current stage of the project, we do not have all satellite systems ready (e.g. production system is missing, Dev and QA are setup).
Nevertheless we want to start setup of Charm and CCM.
We understand that we have to "register" the missing systems in the STMS as virtual systems.
But how do we do that in the SMSY?
Do we enter the data manually? or can we "load" the data out of the STMS?
And what are the typical traps and errors we can make (i.e. hopefully avoid making). Anyone to share his/her experience?

Goto SMSY
Systems
Select your SAP XXX (like SAP ERP or SAP Netweaver)
Click on your SID
On the right hand side you go to the tab "Header Data"
Here you can aktivate planned or production
If you are unable to see the planned button that this is because your setting for data source is not set to manual.
Than please click on the button "Other object" (SHift + F5), for System enter your SID and click on the lock "Set Datasource to Manual input CTRL+F9)
This will set your SID-System to manual adjustment - just confirm.
Than you can mark your system as planned
You will be able to add clients manually yes.

Change Request Management users and their profiles

Hello!
I would like know which users are useful for the usage of change request management functionality within SAP Solution Manager and which profiles should they have?
Users: Requester, Service Desk Empl., Change manager, Change advisory board(?), Developer, Tester, IT Operator, Administrator(?)
Profiles: SAP_SOCM_REQUESTER, SAP_CM_DEVELOPER_COMP, SAP_CM_CHANGE_MANAGER_COMP, SAP_CM_TESTER_COMP, SAP_CM_PRODUCTIONMANAGER_COMP, SAP_CM_ADMINISTRATOR_COMP,
SAP_CM_OPERATOR_COMP
The problem I have:
I get the errors (s. bellow), when I try to set correction in Development with development profile.
<b>- you are not authorized to perform the activity selected last
- No maintenance cycle is open for the current system</b>
The solution for this problem is to log in with user who has "SAP_ALL" to recheck
the correction.

Please verify the note : 881553, this problem occur when the user not have SAP_CM_ADMINISTRATOR_COMP profile..

Integrate external identity management solution in SAP GRC Access Control

We need to integrate an external identity management solution into SAP GRC Access Enforcer. Some white paper mention extensibility is provided by web services. It seems that none of these web services are documented. Does anybody have infos about these services and documentation. Any hint is appreciated.

Unfortunately Access Enforcer doesn't implement a number of critical requirements and implementing it "as is" would be a lot of steps backwards in our process.
what do the published webservices do? Is there any documentation about them?
In a part of our process, we must manually pick the current roles(1), the pending roles(2) (roles that were approved but not given due to training prerequisites) and the requested new roles(3) and make the simulation in the VCC.
The information (1) and (2) and (3) we have in our internal system, the information (1) we have inside VCC and (2) and(3) must be manually inputted by the operator to run the simulations. Since this operation is repeated 6000+ times a month in my company, eliminating this manual input will cause a great gain in efficiency.
Other thing that we want to do is to create a job where it would automatically desassociate the mitigating controls if the user does not have the risks anymore (users can lose roles automatically in some events here, so it would be coherent that the user also loses the associated mitigating controls)
IMHO as a former programmer, these are classic cases where I would like to consume some webservices for this tasks to avoid a lot of ctrc ctrlv from the operators (inefficient and error prone)
VCC has any documentation that would help me to find how I would do this integrations?

I'm facing a question. Does SAP Identity Management manage association between user in Solution Manager and links in PPOMA_CRM tree for Ticket validation on Change Request Management project ?
It seems that it could be done using Compliant User Provisioning from GRC Access Control application.

Hello Ben,
as far as I know currently there is no "business level" integration between IdM 7.1 and SAP Solution Manager. You only can create SU01 user data as for any other SAP ABAP system.
I have heard that it is planned for the future to integrate the Solution Manager also in the business suite integration options the IdM product already provides for applications such as CRM, SRM and others.
Nevertheless you could create your own implementation for your requirements.

Notification to Manager on creation of an Urgent Change Control

Trying to set up a notification subscription so that when someone creates an Urgent Change Control, the Manager of that person gets notified. Looking in the subscription, under Recipients not sure what to put there. Since it could be anyone that creates
the CC, how do you direct the notification to just that persons Manager?
I am sure it has something to do with the Template that is used and the Activity tab but not sure what. Can someone get me started in the right direction or is this even possible?

Alternatively, If you need the line manager to approve, you might try adding a review activity to the process and setting the "Line Manager must approve" checkbox on that activity. if you have set up standard review activity notifications,
then the manager of whoever created the request will get a notice.
if the user only needs to be notified, then you might set the approval method on that activity to "automatic" so the notification is sent, then the RA is automatically approved and the process can continue.

The fact that I uninstalled Bridge and reloaded it has me concerned as to what to do next.?

You need to force quit all other (real or fake) instances of the Application Manager. Instructions differ between Mac or Win.

There is no standard report or any program which calculated ratios in SAP. Only ratio calculated is contribution margin in Profitability analysis. you can achieve this functionality using report painter or form based report in Profit Center Accounting or in Financial Accounting.
