E3000 Firmware Download link missing

Hello,
I was searching for the firmware download for the Linksys e3000.
Before I could find the download link on the site but after the site upgrade I only see cisco connect software...

You can't download an AirPort or Time Capsule firmware update from the Apple website. Instead, you can install the update through AirPort Utility, so open it in /Applications/Utilities and follow the steps to install this update

I checked the documentation, the link for VM-FEX has been removed from the UCSM 2.1 (onwards) as per design.
You can now download it directly from the CCO link.
It is published under the : Cisco UCS Management Partner Ecosystem Software -> VM-FEX Module for vSphere

Firmware download links

I am trying to download firmware for an RV180W Wireless-N Multifunction VPN Firewall Router. I found updates for a 110 in BIN format (router only updates from IMG). Does anyone know of another link for this? Currently running stock firmware on that router and need the update. Thanks

Is this "the Update" you are speaking about? What Version is your stock firmware?

Sun System Handbook: firmware download links gone?

I was trying to check the release notes and the latest firmware version for the Sun Fire X4200 this weekend and found that the link on the
Sun System Handbook no longer works. The link points to www.sun.com/servers/entry/x4100/download.jsp but everything from servers on down just
vectors me off to http://www.oracle.com/us/products/servers-storage/servers/sparc-enterprise/cmt-servers/030591.htm
Is this an error or is it intentional? We have lots of older boxes that we need to be able to verify and download the latest firmware on occasion.

IMac G3 firmware download link?

Hi,
I just inherited an iMac G3 ruby.
I checked the firmware version in open firmware, and it appears to be 3.0f or something like that
regardless, i'd like to update the firmware to the latest version, required to install OSX
on this website, people post links elsewhere on the apple website to download old G3 firmware, but whenever i click the link, i get taken straight to the apple support page, as thought the link is broken?
I am trying to open the link on an intel imac.
if anyone could tell me where to download this firmware, please do, this is driving me insane

I started with the well-hidden Apple Support "Advanced" search function here:

Bookmark it. I don't think you can get to that page from regular support any longer.
I started searching for g3 imac fireware and limited the search to iMacs, selected only downloads for the results type, and had it incude old archived articles.
Nothing. Zip. Nada, Nichts.
Then I simply entered the version number of the required firmware, 4.1.9, with the same options as before and it was quickly displayed.
For a company that touts its inovation as much as Apple does, their support search functions are pretty ludicrous.
I've been doing this for 12+ years and I couldn't avoid picking up good practices and ideas when hanging around so many talented contributors.

I received and successfully activated the link for Photoshop's monthly subscription program. It was supposed to also include LR5, but didn't. How do I get the link? It's almost impossible to get through to Adobe support.

I have since found different system requirements shown on this page: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-lightroom/tech-specs.html This one shows that OS 10.7 is required. Nice that the system requirements shown on the purchasing page are lower than shown on other pages.

Firmware Download Link for the New Classic?

Does anyone know:
1. The firmware version number for the new Classic.
2. The file name of the original restore IPSW file for the new Classic.
If I can get those maybe someone can hold Shift then click on the Restore button in iTunes, point to that file, then maybe it will work on an old Classic.

They will not show on the Apps page of Creative Cloud https://creative.adobe.com/apps if you do not meet the technical requirements. Also the same goes for PremierePro and After Effects requiring a 64-bit system, and Lightroom not being available for Windows XP.

I have been looking for the latest official firmware for the WRT350N, but when I go to Linksys's official page located here:

There is no official download link for any model there.
Is there anyone that has the latest firmware or could provide me a download link?
Any reason why they are no longer listed on the site?

Try requesting the firmware in link below. I suppose you can even try to request the firmware from Cisco. It was never clear to me whether or not WRT350N was a linksys product or a Cisco business product.. Can't hurt to try both places. I used to have the latest firmware for the WRT350N on my hard driver, but is so old, I no longer have it.

.rmt file missing from firmware download

The readme file included with the firmware download zip file states to look for a .rmt file. There are only .txt files and a .bin file in the zip file. Are the instruction wrong/obsolete or should there be a .rmt file in the .zip file or is the .bin file the real firmware update file?

actually, only the .bin is what you need... even if you have the .zip file, you will need to unzip it and get the .bin (binary file) you will need for firmware upgrade... the text file only gives you information...

Download linked file contextual missing ellipsis

Under Tiger 10.4.2 Safari 2.0 and 2.01 (on two macs a G4 QuickSilver & G4iMac) the contextual menu item DOWNLOAD LINKED FILE no longer has an ellipsis.
In prior OS or prior Safari versions the command via the ellipsis and a further dialog, allowed user to choose the download location on the fly. Now it is just auto downloaded to the SET download location defined in the preferenes (primarily used before for SAVE operations). Not fun if you wish to save a file to a different location on the fly as it worked before.
Apple can you add/put that feature back?

If you already have the serial number then you can download Acrobat 11 Std. from : Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X and use the serial number to activate the software.

Gallery download link possible, like sites published from iPhoto

Hi all,
I've got a few photo galleries posted from iWeb. I like the style better than posting pictures from iPhoto as you can do so much more with text, both in adding descriptive text to pages as well as captions on the photos themselves. The one thing I do miss, however, is the ability to allow people to download the whole gallery from one simple download link. I like the way iPhoto does it when posting it's galleries, as the .zip file is generated when the user actually clicks on the "download album" link. Does anyone know whether this is possible in iWeb? I understand that one could upload a zip file to one's own iDisk and then link to it from the page, but I find Apple's implementation in iPhoto much more appealing.

You mean "upload"?
There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto: You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
(Note the above illustration is not a Finder Window. It's the dialogue you get when you go File -> Open)
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
There's a similar option in Outlook and many, many other apps. If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running:
For users of 10.6 and later: You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation which will give you access to the iPhoto Library from your Services Menu.
Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
For Users of 10.4 and 10.5 Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser
Other options include:
Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
Show File: a. On iPhoto 09 and earlier: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected. 3.b.
b: On iPhoto 11 and later: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Reveal in Finder -> Original. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
