E3000 - Possible to see list of wirelessly connected PCs?

I just bought a Linksys E3000 and I have a quick question I hope you can answer.
My old wireless router (Zyxel P334WT) that I bought the E3000 to replace, had a page in the web interface that allowed the admin to view who was connected to the router via wireless. If you clicked on that page it would show you all users/clients that were currently connected to the wireless interface of the router in a list by MAC address and sorted by time of connection.
This is an excellent security tool so that admins can know how many PCs are currently connected to their router and if those users are valid secure allowed users. Extremely good tool on small networks.
I have looked and looked but I find no such tool on the E3000. The closest thing I could find is the DHCP list but this is no good for 2 reasons. One is that if a hacker uses a fixed IP address they will not show up an second is that I don't use a DHCP server. I use all static IP addresses on my LAN so that window is empty.
Does the E3000 have anything like this?
If not is there any plan to add something like this in a future firmware update? Other alternative firmwares like dd-wrt and Tomato do have this but I prefer to use the OEM firmware.

So what you guys are saying is that there is definitely no way in the default firmware that this is available; right?
Now as for this Network Magic software described in the link; doesn't the Cisco Connect software also accomplish this? I don't know because I have not tried the Cisco Connect software yet. But I am asking if one wanted to install third party software to accomplish this task why not just install the Cisco software that comes with the router itself as opposed to other software? I'm just curious.

Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.

CVI IDE: Is it possible to see list of functions for faster navigation?

Very simple question about CVI IDE.
Is it possible to see whole list of functions for fast and convenient navigation, like in Micro$oft Visual Studio:
When I have C code with more than 20-30 functions and 2000+ lines - its a very inconvenient to scroll up and down every time...
I guess this feature should present in CVI, or I missing something?
How you working with relative large projects in CVI?

CVI offers the Source Code Browser, which shows informations about files, functions, variables, data types and macros in your code. The code browser can be accessed in several ways: the easiest is to position over an element in the code and press Ctrl+F1: the lower part of the workbench will host the Source Code Browser area (though you can lately release this window to position it wherever you find it useful). There are several other ways to access these informations: I suggest you to look in the online help, topic Using LabWindows/CVI >> Writing Source Code >> Browsing Source Code
CVI has several other ways of navigating in your application:
Select a panel, menu or control callback and press Ctrl+Shift+U to go to the object in the UIR editor
Right-click on an element in the UIR editor to go to its callback (if any)
Select a function call in the code editor and press Ctrl+I to go to the function source
Select a filename and press Ctrl+U to open it in an editor window
... and others I don't remember now!

I know it is possible to see version history of items and pages, but what about the lists itself?
For example:
Is it possible to see which user added/removed a column from a list?
Is it possible to see which user changed a certain view from a list?

There's an auditing event fired when a user modifies content types or columns in a list. To make use of this you'll need to enable auditing if it's not already enabled.
I'm not sure about the view and I'm having trouble trying to find information about it because most of the documentation talks about VIEWing the audit reports. :)

AE not visible in Airport list/No wireless connection

Hi
I've been using an AE for the last few months to create a wireless network with a Pirelli Tiscali modem. It worked fine until about 2 weeks ago when it dropped out and became unusable. I've done many factory resets as well as others. Occasionally Airport picks it up and lets me configure the AE but then it disappears immediately. Basically it's just not visible in the Airport list. I've updated the firmware on the AE and have got iTunes 8. Any ideas? I want my wireless back!!

Cant see BT HomeHub Wireless

My newly installed BT home hub was working on Monday. On Tuesday my partner said he couldnt connect to the Internet. I checked today.
From Win Vista I can not see my wireless connection to BT home hub (bthomehub.home) but I can see and connect to my BTOpenzone/Fon connection. When I refresh to list of wireless connections only the BTOpenZone appears. I can see my homehub from my ipod touch though.
There has been many Windows updates installed on Monday and it looks like my BT Fon has been activated on Tuesday.

802.11 N has a wider radius and a faster speed range but B/G are more robust (more Bang for your buck kinda thing). Im just speculating here but the BTfone might be on the same frequency are the wireless N was set to.
Its one of the reasons i try to use 802.11 A/N instead of G/N.

WRT350N: Vista cannot get wireless connection

I recently got a laptop to use on a wireless connection to my WRT350N. When I first set it up, it easily got a wireless connection to the WRT350N. After a few weeks of reliable wireless operation, the wireless connection would occasionally disconnect without warning or any apparent reason. I was usually able to reconnect fairly quickly until a couple of days ago. From that point on, reconnection was not assured. I switched the wireless mode on the WRT350N from mixed to one of the other options and got my last successful connection. Soon after that, the wireless connection dropped again and I've never been able to reconnect since, no matter what settings I specify. Windows Vista sees other wireless networks available (from neighbors' homes), but does not see my WRT350N even when sitting right next to it.
I've tried the EasyLink Advisor and it just says: "EasyLink Advisor could not establish a wireless connection to the Router." That's not very helpful. How can I restore a wireless connection from my laptop to the WRT350N?

Thanks, Helm, for your reply. Before seeing your reply, I called Linksys tech support and we got it working again. Basically, they had me clear the list of wireless connections under "manage wireless networks" in Vista. They had me change the security settings from PSK2 Personal and enter a new key. With that, I was able to get a wireless connection again. I told the tech that I preferred to stick with PSK2. So I switched back while he was still on the phone and got a successful wireless connection with PSK2. He suggested that my loss of connection in the first place was caused by the key being changed under PSK2 / AES and it was related to the key renewal period. It wasn't clear how to avoid encountering the trouble again. But at least I know how to recover from it should it happen again.

The information is of course stored on the device, but currently thee is no way to get to it. It is unknown whether iOS stores the date info for each connection.
As to whether a program can be written, its likely it can, but unlikely it can be done by anyone other than Apple, as by design, 3rd party Apps are not allowed to core system functions like that so its unlikely any App could list your connection history.
As has been said to remove a single connection from the iPad you need to be in range of it, tap the circle on the right side of the router name, and then tap on Forget this network.

E3000 routers wireless connections drop when gigabit hardwire is used

I have a very strange but repeatable problem with my E3000 wireless router. I have multiple devices connected wirelessly such as and iPhone and 3 laptops. I also have a couple of devices (dvd player and satellite receiver) connected hard wire. The problem occurs when I connect my laptop hardwire and uses gigabit speed. All wireless connection stop working. When I look in the router at the list of users it show all the wireless devices as being connected via the LAN and not wireless anymore. When I unplug the gigabit hardwired connection and reboot the router all the wireless devices go back to normal and function correctly. I am also using MAC security for the wireless devices so when I plug in the laptop hardwire it changes from wireless to LAN in the user client table. Unfortunately all the other wireless devices do also.

You have 3 wireless laptops. The wireless connection stops working when you connect the laptop to the Ethernet port on the router.
Does this happen when you connect any laptop to the router or only with the specific laptop?
Disable the wireless network connection on your laptop and then connect the laptop to the router with the Ethernet cable.
See if that works.

I am trying to project Pro Presenter on the Epson projector such that I have the detail screen on the macbook and only the screen I want people to see on the projector display. This has not been possible because the arrangement tab on the Display section of the System Preference is not showing. If i tried to search for the arangement, it comes back with the message that there is not other source detected, hence the arrangement tab is not showing.
I have also tried to connect the Epson directly to the Macbook but it still the same result, so its not because it is a wireless connection. Can someone advise me jhow to go around this problem. I have used windows before and it is very easy to extend ptojection on windows, but this system seems to be frustrating to me.

E3000 -- Wireless Connectivity

Hello Everyone,
I purchased the E3000 wireless router -- a magnificent device. Updated it to the latest firmware (1.0.04), although I have several issues:
1) When absolutely no wireless devices are connected, the wireless LED is still flashing periodically -- the network is both MAC-filtered and encrypted.
2) When disabling both WiFi antennas -- the wireless LED remains lit, and flashes periodically (although no wireless connection can be made).
I am working in an environment where sometimes, wireless interference/transmission can be of concern, and therefore, the ability to turn WiFi off is imperative to my work.
3) If any Cisco employees do read this forum -- is it possible to add functionality to the firmware such as the functionality of the "WPS" button on the rear side of the device could be toggled to enable/disable WiFi, without going through the web interface (the user could select which functionality they would prefer -- WPS or WiFi On/Off)? -- I had a WiFi-toggle switch on my 3Com router, and it was very convenient!

I think there is no problem if the Wifi light is flashing or lit on the router,
If it is flashing or lit it means router is broadcasting the wireless signal.
And as your network is Mac filtered and Secured also,no one can connect to the wifi.
Also there is no other option to disable the wifi without using web interface.

You can only connect your MacBook Air to your TV wirelessly if you have got an Apple TV. AirPlay Mirroring allows you to mirror your MacBook Air display onto your Apple TV.

I have a couple of netgear wireless routers (WGR614, WPN824 v3) as well as a Belkin wireless router (F5D8233-4v3) lying around, and was wondering if it is possible to use any of these to share the internet feed from a cable modem to both an airport express and a Sony Blu-Ray Player? I connected the WPN824 router between the cable modem and the airport express but the airport express will only give an orange light then as if it does not have internet access. What you are basically attempting to do is extend the Belkin router with the AirPort Express Base Station (AX) via a wireless connection between them. This method is known as a Wireless Distribution System (WDS). Unfortunately, WDS is not a standard and router manufacturers implemented, in most part, to only work with their products ... so it will be very unlikely that you can create a WDS between your Belkin and the AX. There have been a few Belkin model that have been updated by third-party firmware that support WDS, but the models you listed are not any of them.
