E4200 - Have to reset once a week
Have to reset about once a week, parental controls are a joke, it lags periodically.

Why do I have to restore my Iphone 5s once a week?
I have a 16GB Iphone 5s. Almost once a week I have to restore my phone. Here is the list of things that it does:
1) It restarts on its own for no reason.
2) I can't delete apps and the screen freezes
3)It will ask me for my icloud password all the time
4)It will loose my contact names in my text message section
5)It will not send a texts sometimes and people sending me texts will say msg fail
6) I completely lost Verizon service and had to restore
7)Goes to the restore screen to plug into a computer on its own
8)Randomly displays device storage almost full. I have had this phone since August Help?!That is really odd, slimbwoozha. All of those things should not be occurring. Prior to performing the restore, are you performing a full factory reset of your phone? Do these issues still occur after the factory reset, without performing the restore?

Every once in a while, letters stop working on my keyboard. I have to restart to get them to work again. Happens about once a week. Why and how do I keep this from Happening? An example is: I try to type Super Excited and the U, E and P won't work. But once I restart, all the letters work.
It could be an accumulation of all sorts of bits of info and depending on the last time you cleared the system cache either manually or via a factory reset on that phone you might find a difference there after doing so with many other system caches.
Clearing the application cache removes temporary files and frees up memory - your personal settings or information remain intact.
Be sure you clear only the application cache and not the application data.
From the home screen, tap Apps.
Scroll to and tap Settings.
Tap More.
Tap Application manager.
Swipe left to view the All tab.
Scroll to and tap an application.
Tap Clear cache.
You've now cleared the application cache. -

ThanksNoooo! Actually I too had d same prob wit my iPhone 4S. When I connect to my wifi network it won't get connected or it wil be grey scaled! I took it to d istore and since I had warranty they replaced my IPhone. It iPad charger has high volt than ur iPhone charger so when u connect wit it, there is a chance where large amount of current passes thru ur iPhone. So for sure it wil damage ur motherboard and its parts! Many said that iOS 6 or 6.0.1 or 6.1 was d reason for tis wifi prob! But apple never made its mistake wit it's software. If and only if u hav hardware prob u wil hav these sort of wifi prob Bluetooth prob! So best way s to replace ur iPhone!

Having horrible service with 4GLTE I have had 3G for several weeks (I am not the only person I know having this problem), I have reset my network settings and it did not resolve the issue. I am also unable to send SMS and text messages without them either failing or not sending at all. Is there an outage in the Cleveland, Ohio area (zip codes 44129, 44134, 44137) or anything else I can do to resolve this issue?
Not that I'm a Verizon employee, but I have experience in the field. An LTE tower will only extend up to, on a perfect day, with no elevation, 6-7 miles. On a typical day, you will be lucky at four (4) miles. The three ZIP codes you've given are all within about a 12 mile radius. That would mean that 2-3 towers are currently down at the same time, and Verizon would know about it within the hour. Being it's Cleveland, I'm sure they would receive numerous calls regarding an outage of that size.
My point is that if you're having issues in all three ZIP codes, chances are it's a phone issue. If you're handset is simply not receiving LTE, but still receiving 3G, that would signify a SIM card issue. You need to get your SIM card replaced. -
Okay so my phone crashes approximately every 30 seconds. I have tried resetting it by DPU as well as on the phone itself. Once in awhile i get an error message about unknown error 1. If i look at the diagnosis or if runs on itunes i get the following. When I called the support at AT&T they think the phone is shot and it is a hardware thing but i have a hard time believing that when it happened when I sync'd it to my computer. It did get progressively worse though, at first it crashed not that often and then got worse. So restores are failing, recovery, everything. Anyone run into this?

I have an iPad 1st generation that no longer has working volume buttons but every once in a while the sound turns on. So I know the speakers still work. I have tried resetting all settings and made sure that my side switch was auto lock not auto mute. I have tried the mystical swiping upward on the screen with 4 fingers to get some special sound menu (which I never succeeded in getting). My headphone jack doesn't work all the time either so some times my kids can hear their games and sometimes they can't. I am super frustrated at this point. So any suggestions would be great. Am I missing something basic or do we just have a soundless iPad now?

I have thousands of photos on my Mac. If something happens to my Mac obviously, I don't want to lose the photos. I do Time Machine back ups to an external hard drive once a week. Is this good enough to make sure my pictures don't get lost?

Purchase a couple of these when they go on sale.
Start burning all the photos onto DVDs.
At least you'll have all your photos if your computer, time machine or any other backup you use goes bonkers. -

WRT54G Have to Reset ABOUT every two weeks
Hi, My WRT54G works fine but about every two weeks I have to reset it (unplug the power cord wait 30 sec. and plug it back in) to get it to connect to the internet or get emails. I believe it is Ver. 8.2
Any ideas why, other then that its works fine, I don't want to mess it up, I'm not great with computers.

Turn the modem ON first, wait for 10 seconds, turn the router ON, wait for 10 seconds, you should be ONLINE with a reliable connection !!!

Is anyone else experiencing password issues? Every few weeks I have to reset mine and I'm writing them down!
If you are receiving repeated password reset e-mails, there are two possibilities.
One is that they are simply phishing e-mails. Do not click on any links in those e-mails, and do not respond to them in any way.
The other is that someone is trying to hack your Apple ID. You can prevent that by enabling two-factor authentication:

This will prevent anyone from even attempting a password reset without entering a special code that only you will have, and should keep in a very safe place. -

If it it says turn off FIndMyiPhone then:
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
