E4200 not allowing full internet bandwidth

Hi
I have a 100mb conection and regularly get 90mb plus speed when conected direct to the modem. If I conect via the E4200 I only get 50mb ? I have tried disabling the firewall and QOS but this has had no effect. I am using a wired conection and the latest firmware. Its almost as the E4200 is capped at 50mb throughput.
Anyone got any ideas?

You have mentioned that you have the latest firmware on E4200. I assume its 1.0.0.3. Now, did you reset the router after you update the firmware. If not, please do that and reconfigure the router again using Cisco Connect.

HDMI to DVI adapter not allowing full resolution when using Mac OS but does with Windows 8.1

I have a Mac Mini and using the HDMI to DVI cable that came with the computer the maximum resolution it will allow is 1280 x 1024. I have 2 of the same monitors. The other is connected with DisplayPort to VGA adapater and displays full resolution (1920 x 1080) on both monitors but the HDMI to DIV will only show 1280 x 1024. I thought maybe it was my DVI cable or the adapter but when I boot up in Windows 8.1 through bootcamp both monitors display at full 1920 x 1080 resolution. Why does Windows give me the option for full resolution on both but the Mac OS doesn't? All the latest updates have been installed. I've contacted support and all the things they had me do didnt work. I see all these posts with people complaining about the same resolution issues. Is it that difficult for this to work?

Humm... the dual Samsung 21.5" monitor setup on my 2010 Mac Mini running Mavericks works a expected.One is on the HDMI to DVI adapter and the other in on a Kanex Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter.
Try > Display Menu from the Mac App Store and see if you can select 1920 x 1080 for both monitors using it.
Addtitionally, are you sure that it the HDMI to DVI monitor that is not getting the correct resolution...? Most people are complaining that it is a VGA connected monitor that is not getting the correct resolution.
If it turns out to be VGA connected monitor, then try using a Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter and DVI cable for that monitor instead of VGA.

OWB does not allow full outer join

I got following error (twice) while validating my mapping: "VLD-1506: Invalid Expression: Mixing full and partial outer joins in one mapping is not supported".
I have following join conditions in my mapping:

What does it mean? Is JOINER's full outer join is incompatible with KEY LOOKUP operator and KL should be replaced with WB_LOOKUP_NUM?

Key lookup always does a partial outer join. When the full outer join and partial outer join conditions are put together, there is no available syntax to facilitate it.
The way to this to generate the join operator (with full outer join) first in a subquery, then generate the key lookup as the outer query. Or the other way around, first the key lookup then the full outer join. The important part is that the key lookup can't be merged into the FROM-list.
So there are two workarounds. One is what you already pointed out, using WB_LOOKUP_NUM.
The other is to explicitly spell out the key lookup logic in the mapping by introducing a join with the lookup table, like this.

Wireless router not allowing full handshake in router mode

I have a recently-purchased rv220w wireless router. My setup is as follows: Internet -> asa 5505 -> 10.0.1.0 subnet -> wireless router (subnet 10.0.3.0, public facing ip is 10.0.1.140).
I can ping between the two subnets fine, but not much else. I did a packet capture with wireshark and noticed something really interesting. If I try to connect from a machine from the 10.0.1.0 subnet to the 10.0.3.0 subnet, say remote desktop for this example, I get a SYN, then a SYN_ACK, and then not ACK back. Only a reset (RST) is getting sent from the machine initiating the connection.
This is super weird. ANy help would please be appreciated. I have the detailed captures if necessary.

LI2323S Not Allowing Full Gaming Resolution?

Hey there, so I'm a complete newbie at this kind of thing so please bear with me. This is my first PC and thus my first monitor in a very long time.
But yeah, basically, with help of my computer nerd friends (who can't seem to diagnose this problem either, oops), I recently purchased a very nice, very expensive gaming/graphics PC. It was custom built through IBuyPower and definitely has that last part. Power. It has a Nvidia 970 graphics card, Intel i5 processor, 16 gb ram, etc. etc. And when I had it hooked up to my 42" TV, I was able to play every game in Ultra/Nvidia settings.
Then I hooked it up to this monitor. Again, I don't know much about monitors and how they work, but should they be able to cap your graphics settings? I can still access Ultra (but not Nvidia) in Far Cry 4. I'm honestly not even sure what Nvidia was, but I'm confused why it would no longer be an option on my monitor vs my TV.
I'm connected through a high speed HDMI cable, the same one I was using with my TV. If you guys have any idea what is causing this/how to fix this, I'd super appreciate it. If not, I'll probably return the monitor and buy another one.
P.S. A little disappointed Lenovo has made contacting them directly so very difficult. You have to Google to find their customer service line (which I didn't have time to call this morning), and I could not find an email. Perhaps I'm blind, but I also wager I'm a pretty Average Consumer, in which case... shouldn't it be easier to find, if I'm having problems? Just a side thought.

Re: installing Logic Pro X on a second computer that doesn't have much internet bandwidth

I have two complete studios, two locations, two Mac minis. The first has full internet bandwidth and I've installed Logic Pro X with all the additional content. The second is in a rural location where I have very limited, very slow and very expensive internet. How can I install Logic Pro X without downloading all the additional content? Can the content files be copied to a drive and then to the second computer?

I'd take the second Mac to a place with a better connection. That's probably your best bet.
You could try to copy the files in:
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Logic
Not sure what the result would be. Maybe copy the files first, then install? I think either way LPX has to do this. Another way possibly, install it, then when it requires the content download, close it, copy the files over, then re-open?
Let me know. This is all a guess.

HTTP 405 - Method not allowed error

Hi experts,
we are facing HTTP 405 error in document search functionality. The search is working fine but when we are trying to open the the document it shows 405 error that Method not allowed... Could any tell me the solution..?

URL iview was working on patch 12 , but after upgrade , one particular URL iview is not working.
Preview works fine, if I paste the URL in a new window it workf fine,
but when I try to access as an end user , the following error is faced
"HTTP Error 405 - The HTTP verb used to access this page is not allowed.
Internet Information Services (IIS)".
I have tried to use "Open in new Window" property, but it dint help.
Can anybody suggest.??

405 Method Not Allowed error from images directory

Some background: I'm implementing fusioncharts in APEX and the commercial version comes with an Save as Image capability. When the user wants to save the chart as an image, an aspx file is called which calls a POST method to the directory where the aspx file is located.
I store the aspx and its dependent files in a subfolder in the images directory and reference it using http://myserver/i/imagesaving/FusionChartsSave.aspx. Then when I try to save, I get 405 Method Not Allowed: 'the requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /i/imagesaving/FusionChartsSave.aspx.'
The aspx functions work for sure because I am able to successfully save to image when I put the files in IIS and reference the url to the aspx file that way.
My main concern is trying to keep all the files in the APEX environment which is Apache. Is there a place where I can perform the POST or configure apache to a directory that allows POST?

1841 Does Not Allow Browsing

I have a brand new 1841 that is not allowing any internet browsing. I can ping and tracert and resolve DNS, but all browsing comes back "page cannot be displayed".
I have the 4 port switch module in slot 0. We are using an XData line that comes into the router as ethernet.
I've attached my config, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have looked at the config that you posted and believe that I see your problem which is the access list that is applied inbound on interface vlan 1. Access list 101 is controlling traffic coming into the router if I understand your config correctly. And access list 101 has only 2 statements that permit any kind of tcp traffic:
access-list 101 permit tcp any range 1099 1102 any range 1099 1102
access-list 101 permit tcp any range 5631 5632 host 172.20.1.150 range 5631 5632
and neither of these permit HTTP traffic to get through the interface. I am not clear what the logic was in constructing this access list. But if you add a statement in the access list which permits HTTP traffic I believe that browsing will start to work.

My system needs internet explorer for a application I need to down load, however I need to down load the latest yahoo tool bar for internet explorer to work properly and firefox will not allow the down load of yahoo toolbar. How do I fix this?

I have not used Internet explorer since downloading firefox and I need IE for a trading platform that I need to use. In order to get IE working I apparently need to down load the latest version of Yahoo toolbar, however when I try to down load the tool bar Firefox will not allow the down load of that file.

Ziatron is correct that Flash does not work on an iPad, but it does work on a Mac. See Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.160.

Full screen not allowed

Since upgrading from V6 to V7 the ITunes has not allowed the videos to be seen in full screen on an external monitor (TV). Although V6 allows the videos to be seen in full screen, it does not allow me to make further puchases of videos unless I upgrade to V7. Catch22 Why? How
