E4200v2 - not serving it's purpose..

Very disappointed! I bought this router as it was supposed to be the top of the line router with the option to attach external storage. It was an easy setup. I have struggled to get the USB to work though. The router recognizes the storage but I'm unable to access it from my computers. Calling tech support only got me to get the unit replaced. Same problem with the new unit though. I'm tired of calling tech support and spending hours on the phone.
I tried the support forums but the folks that have asked the same question haven't received an answer and neither have I. I guess they did what I'm planning on doing - return the router. My old router works just fine and offers the same speed despite being a G-wireless router.
Would love to get this to work, but I don't seem to get any useful support on this product!!!

Have you tried checking if your drive is compatible with the router? Link gives you the list of compatible drives.

Web-server not serve web pages from 2nd NIC

My Scenario:
Ethernet 0 is my internal NIC
Ethernet 1 is my external NIC (Internet)
Firewall is off right now for testing purposes.
I can web serve all day long on the internal NIC
I can not serve anything on the External NIC
I can ping the External NIC
I can setup a Windows Box with IIS with the same IP settings and I can serve all day long with the windows box.
When I look at the access log it shows that there was a request and it tried to serve but the clients don't receive anything.
I see nothing under the error logs.
Thanks for any insight you can give me.

With an out-board firewall, you can do what you want. (I happen to like this particular configuration for other reasons, too.)

Compiling Apache2 on Tiger (not server)

I've been developing Unix apps for over 17 years. My primary platform was Linux and that's now secondary. My PowerMac Dual running Tiger (not server) is my primary. I disabled the stock Apache 1.3, then downloaded the latest Apache2 code (2.2) compiled it and installed in /usr/local/apache2.

The httpd runs fine, but when I go ahead and enable one of the shared library modules, like mod_ident, it complains with:

When I ran make install with sudo privileges, I received the following error:

Warning! dlname not found in /usr/local/apache2/modules/mod_ident.la.
Assuming installing a .so rather than a libtool archive.
However, when I looked in /usr/local/apache2/modules, there was no shared library called mod_ident.so.
What's really weird, when I compiled and installed PHP, that make procedure did in fact install libphp5.so.
I believe there may be something wrong in my compilation commands or tools with Apache2. I have Fink installed in /sw and its appropriate directories are in my PATH.
Any assistance on how to convert .la files into .so files so as to get a successfully running Apache2 on my Mac.
I need to use the latest code base from Apache2 to develop a new project dependent upon this version.

Pop up in sales order that "zip code 32901 not served by UPS 1 day"

Hi everyone,
I have an issue where in sales order after I enter the material for that particular sold to, I get a pop up saying, "zip code 32901 not served by UPS 1day". Then, a window is displayed showing other available options to select from. But the customer says, his location is served by UPS 1 day too.
a. I checked the route determination for that location and I see that the route exists.
b. I checked the shipping condition in customer master and it looks fine.
Please suggest me how to resolve this issue;

That sounds like a custom error - is it a Zxx error code? If yes, I would check the userexits in MV45AFZZ to see under what conditions this is issued and amend accordingly. If it's a standard error code, what is the code and I will see can I find something on it for you.

Problem connecting to lotus notes server.

I am using:
Windows XP, service pack 2
PC suite 6.85.14.1
Bluetooth connection
Phone Nokia E65
I am trying to connect my laptop to the office lotus notes server. But it seems PC sync can’t locate my id file or the notes server. The fields under sync setup are simply empty.
My Notes client didn’t have any problems connecting to the server.
There are about 10 other people in the office all using the same setup (Nokia E65 and a the same type laptop) without problems.
I have tried the solution in this topic but it didn’t help: /discussions/board/message?board.id=pcsuite&message.id=24092&query.id=149864#M24092.
Any idea what the problem might be?

Issue with - Delete From Hub not Server

The new "Delete From Hub not Server" works when each item is deleted individually, however when a number of items are selected together the option interface is not presented and all the items are deleted from the server.

The WCS version 5.0 failed to start, I tried stop the services and then reload the server but the resut is same.

Why Left and Right Joins if only one of them can serve the same purpose?

I understand that left join is used to display all the records from left table whereas the right join is used to display all the records from right table in a join.
However, if we switch the positions of the join tables and perform left join we can get all the records of the left table.
A left join B -> will give all records from A
A right join B ->will give all records from B
B left join A -> will again give all records from B.
The order in which the data is displayed(ie the field order) can also be maintained in the SELECT clause.
So, Why do we have left and right joins separately in existance, when only one of them can serve the same purpose?

I think it's because it is sometime more natural to outer join on left or right.
In your data model (or the query you are writing), there is some kind of hierarchy between tables : I feel more natural to have the table with lowest hierarchical level (the root table) on the left. So I sometimes prefer to right outer join...
This is a very personal feeling, I must admit.
To me what is strange is to have chosen left and right as they refer to a "latin" reading direction => forward join and backward join would be more meaningful for people that read from right to left.
+And I prefer the new joining syntax that doesn't us the {noformat}(+){noformat} sign...+

Has anyone tried configuring LDAP on weblogic to work with Lotus Notes server?

I have heard anecdotal evidence that this does not work. It is not
supported.

Image files not served

Yes, the problem is that WebLogic typically uses the FileServlet as the default
servlet so that any requests that don't fit into any of the registered servlets get
passed to the FileServlet so that it can look in the file system for the page. I
suspect that you really don't want the default servlet of the entire server to be
your logon page -- create a web app and make the logon servlet the "welcome-file"...

SSDT: Creation of localDB instances from project file - Sql Server Unit testing purposes

I have a SqlServer Database Project in my solution (VS2013 Professional) which has a corresponding test project with some stored procedure unit tests. Currently I am using a LocalDB and as far as I understand a local database instance is created in C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Microsoft
SQL Server Local DB\Instances\Projects and the specific .mdf file referenced in the SQL Server Object Explorer is in C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\SSDT\[ProjectName]. The unit tests run fine on my local machine which I have developed
the project on.
My issue is we have a box which is configured to check out the project file from our version control, build the project using ms build commands and then run the unit tests using VSTest.Console. Usually with C# Test projects we reference the test project
dll and the unit tests run fine. I have referenced the dll for the test project with the stored procedure unit tests in.
With the Stored Procedure unit tests however we get this exception:
Initialization method [project].[spTest].TestInitialize threw exception. System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 50 - Local Database Runtime error occurred. The specified LocalDB instance does not exist.
After some digging I have realised that the localdb instance seems to be created when the project itself is created in VS not when it is built. Specifically when the localdb is first used and if you look into the appData folder of the test machine there
is no corresponding mdf file for the project.
The question is is there a way to set up a localDB instance on the new machine if all you have the project file? The only purpose of the project on the test machine is to run the unit tests, no other development purposes. VS2013 Professional is installed
on the test machine but a solution only using config file changes or MSBuild/VSTest commands would be preferable.
I realise you could change the connection string to an actual test database and run the unit tests of that but we quite like the localdb approach for the testing. I also realise that you could potentially transfer the mdf file (haven't tested this solution)
as well, though I would prefer if there is a solution to my initial question.

I have been reading up on LocalDB and I assume a automatic LocalDB is created when you create a sql server database project (ie on localdb first use). I have tried adding the database creation to the test project config file but do not really know where
to go from there. The second link does not really specify when the named localdb will be created if you add the config items and I am not even sure if that is an actual solution. Here's my test project config file for reference

Project importing to NWDB but not Server CM folder

When importing projects into MII, we sometimes run into the issue where the files successfully updates to the NWDB database (XMII_FILES) and I can also view them in the workbench. Though if I attempt to execute anything in the WEB folder, I get a file not found error in my web browser. When this occurs I check the server where the files are stored under (usr/sap/...root/CM/ and none of the files imported are in this folder. Does anyone know why this happens or how I can force MII to push the files to the server?
If I create a new irpt in the workbench and save it, I can see it in both XMII_FILES and in the root/CM folder. The issue sometimes happens when we import new files.
We are using a Linux in a clustered environment. I've read that a bad cluster setup can cause issues but it appears this one is setup correctly.

You're using an IMAP account. Not sure if you can set up hotmail as a POP account.
