E51 and 4GB microSDHC

Hi, just recently bought this phone together with a Kingston 4GB microSDHC Class 4 memory card, but somehow the phone doesn't recognize it. When I go to tools>memory it just states there that "no memory card is inserted". Tried to use a friends 2GB microSD from Sandisk, I get the same problem. Both cards are working because I was able to access it through my computer and both cards have FAT32 format. Hope somebody can enlighten me with my problem. Thanks in advance.

I had this problem when I first got my phone, the memory card was not fully inserting into the slot at the back, it didnt click.
Ended up there was a bit of fluff stuck in it from manufacturing which I pulled out with a pin and carefully got it.
Worked fine after that.

Bought a E65 and tried to run a 4GB MSDHC card. Failed! Any ideas?

The E65 does not support SDHC cards.
It supports standard SD cards up to 2GB. 4GB standard SD cards may work but I don't know anyone who has tried it.

  • WHICH CLASS type of 4GB microSDHC does 5610XM supp...

    1. Any microSD(T-Flash)more than 2GB is known as "microSDHC".
    2. A 4GB microSDHC has three(3)class types, which are Class 2, Class 4 and Class 6.
    3. 5610XM can support microSDHC upto 4GB.
Seems that there is no mention in the manual regarding to the captioned. I wonder if class 4 or class 6 - 4GB T-Flash (microSDHC)will 5610XM support?
My question is "WHICH CLASS type of 4GB microSDHC does 5610XM support?"
Please give a hand~~ many thanks!

    What is Class Speed Rating?
The SD Association has created and defined 3 speed classes to help you identify speed and performance capabilities/minimum requirements of SD/SDHC, miniSD/miniSDHC, and microSD/microSDHC cards and the host products.
    The SD Speed Class Ratings specify a minimum sustained write speed for SDHC/miniSDHC/microSDHC cards (Class 2: 2 MB/s; Class 4: 4 MB/s; Class 6: 6 MB/s*).

Sandisk SDHC cards will work with the 5610. It is unknown if cards larger than 4GB will work, as no one has mentioned it yet.
Here are the specs for the sandisk card:

  • MSI 785GM-E51 and memory modules problems

Could anyone help me with one problem. I have motherboard MSI 785GM-E51 and 4 memory modules GOODRAM GR 1333D364L9/2G. But when I'm inserting ALL modules my system not starting (even POST procedure). So working variants - when I'm inserting:
    - one module in first (boot) slot
    or
    - they inserted in first and third memory slots
    Any ideas?

It is not motherboard problem, but processor itself - I have AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3,4 Ghz Core Revision C2 and this revision (according to the article: http://www.fcenter.ru/online.shtml?articles/hardware/processors/27650#02) has problems with support memory modules DDR3-1333 Mhz more than 2 modules. Conclusion - either adjust BIOS settings concerning memory timings and memory controller voltage or replace this kind of processor with the same type but with core revision C3

    Hi robjworsley
Unfortunately it does not, so 2Gb microSD is your limit.

Your iMac should be almost silent.

About the only thing that "might" be able to do is upgrade the SSD. OWC sells SSD upgrades for that unit. You would have to contact Apple though to verify that no warranty issues would apply when making the upgrade.

4gb with windows vista 32bit the x-fi works perfectly, but then depending on which motherboard you have, you get only between 2.8-3.5gb ram.
That is a 32 bit limitation and really has nothing to do with what motherboard you have. See the link I posted above.
Im not stupid, I know that. But with a eVGA 680i SLI i get 2.75gb in vista32, and with my current p35 ds4 i get 3.5gb. Mr smartypants!

  • Nano Software Versions for 2GB and 4GB??

I have a 2GB and 4GB Nano. When I hooked up to the computer the 2GB told me software version 1.3.1 was available. However, when I hook up the 4GB it tells me that 1.1.3 is the current version. If you go into the "About" menu on each it shows the versions exactly as I have written. Are these versions the same?

The two iPod nanos are different generations, and have different firmware.

  • E90 / E51 (and other?) --Access point groups-- ar...

    Hi All
I‘ve seen that in the new E51 the Access point groups are gone.
In my (older) E70 the Access point groups are installed and they are GREAT.
It’s a pity, that they are gone, because you waste much money to your provider, and you lose connection-performance.
Now in the E90 and E51 (AND PERHAPS IN THE UPCOMING PHONES) the possibility of building groups is not available.
    It’s a shame for a business Phone.
You don’t know, what “Access point groups” are?
Here the explanation of the E70’s manual:
    Email data roaming
    Access point groups.
Your device allows roaming between wireless access technologies, such as WLAN and GPRS, for e-mail. For example, you can
start an e-mail session at home and continue the session on your way to work. While your session continues uninterrupted,
your handheld device switches from WLAN to GPRS and back to WLAN when you arrive at your workplace.
In result: You have a quick and free connection at home (Wifi), you go outside, the phone switches automatically to e.g GPRS, you come in the office, the phone switches automatically to your company’s WIFI.. etc.
You pay only the short time outside, and you don’t have to worry about changing connections.
Let us motivate NOKIA to reintegrate this feature, so they become more professional and businesslike
    Thanks mayba

    Bring IT back !!!

ok, so i bought a imac 27 about 4 months ago, and now they release a new one!  ****... So my question is, should I sell this one (which by the way is the i5 2.8 with 1 gb 5750 and 4gb ram) and buy the new imac 27 i5,or keep the one i have and buy more ram. I mostly use my computer for photoshop cs5 and illustrator cs5 for graphics out put as well as surfing the web and music.
Please give me you thoughts on what I should do!!  Thanks  lot!

The new iMac is about 25% or so faster than your current iMac(comparable model would be the 3.1ghz version). There are a couple of things that you will benefit from such as the dual Thunderbolt/Mini Display ports/ which may help with multitasking. The video card in the new iMac again the comparable model being the 3.1ghz is a lotttttttt better than the current one that you have. So thinking of the long run those few things may be beneficial for you to upgrade(but it depends on what is important to you).
I had the 2.93ghz i7 version that I just bought in March this year and I turned around and sold it about a week before the new iMac's were announced. I got about $1600 for it, yeah I took a loss but to me it was worth it because my new iMac performs that much better. Now keep in mind I went from i7 to i7...3.4ghz i7 with the 2gb video card. Now I have dual thuderbolt/mini display ports. I have noticed significant gains in my video editing and also in my gaming. So to me it was definitely worth the upgrade!
One last thing, I would not have sold my 2.93 i7 and then bought the 3.1ghz i5, the big reason is because HT(hyper threading), it's only on the i7 model(3.4ghz)... If you take a look at some of the bench marks on engadget, maclife, macrumors, macworld, ****Barefeats.com(they really get into benchmarking)*** you will see charts that will help you make a better decision.
In closing I would say look into it, if you can get a good price out of your current iMac to put toward a new iMac then do it. Like others have mentioned to you, tech changes and Apple will change the tech in these machines next year or do a speed bump later this year or so. One last thing if you go from the 2.8 i5 up to the 3.4 i7, you would definitely see the difference (HT is a must especially for programs that utilize it. You can go to my youtube channel(mob1278) and take a look at my geekbench results.... my 2.93 i7 scored around 10500-11000(8gb ram)...my 3.4 i7 scores from 12700-13000 with 4gb ram....so yeah as you can see big difference. Basically the 3.4 i7 would perform similar or just under a 2.4ghz 8core 2010 Mac Pro which runs you about $3500 with no monitor.... it's your money spend it how you want....and Lion is only going to push it even more when it is released!
