E51, Garmin xt and Parrot CK3000 vs Clarion BLT373

When I had connected E51 to Parrot CK3000 I could hear all telephone activity through car speakers -telephone mute was active not only during call but also during pushing any key and i could hear beep from speakers. This was not too convinient but acceptable. With this connection I could hear navigation messages (Garmin XT) from telephone speaker.
I have changed car radio to Clarion and installed clarion bluetooth BLT373. With this device telephone mute is active only during call (not during dialing number or pushing any key). This is OK. But I cannot hear any navigation message nor from telephone speaker nor from radio speakers.
Does anyone know the solution of this problem.

  • 6120 and Parrot CK3000 Bluetooth

I have a Mitsubishi L300 Van with Factory fitted Bluetooth.
    Parrot CK3000.
I was using a 6230I and the Bluetooth worked exceptional. On upgrading to a new 6120 i can connect but the volume i receive is very poor
I have asked Mitsubishi for help and they say they cant
Now i have been told its the Phones Firmware thats wrong
Can someone tell me how to fix this matter

Hi all, I have a N95 8Gb and have exactly the same problem.
I have tried everything, so believe me when I say the problem lies with the Nokia software.
I have an X3 with Parrot CK3000 handsfree kit and the phones pairs up fine but the volume is too low to be heard and cannot be adjusted in any way.
I tried installing other Parrots units (2 other models)but to no avail.
I have updated the firmware from 10.0.21 to 11.0.026 but no results.Software updater says software is running latest version.
I have tried quite a few other makes of phones and they work perfectly! So I can now narrow it down to the Nokia software.
I have reset,re-paired and done everything with no results.
This is the 4th discussion forum I am joining to get some help.
I am going to try take the phone in to a Nokia center to see if they are any help.
If there is anyone out there who can help, please it will be greatly appreciated.
Any Nokia people who care to step in and offer assistance would also be greatly appreciated, as I cannot think of any other way forward.
    REgards,

  • E71 and Parrot CK3000 Evolution volume levels

I can connect my E71 to my Parrot Car Kit but every time I do so it sets the volume to the minimum. Is this a common problem? Are Nokia/Parrot working on a solution for this problem? Has anybody else encountered this problem? And if so, is there a solution that doesn't involve me having to reset the volume to an acceptable level every time I connect my phone to the car kit?

Pick an unused profile and turn everything off in that profile except for what you do want.
    This includes keypad tones etc.
I have everything off except for call and message. Calls are set at 2 beeps and messages at 1 beep.
Vibrator, breathing light, keypad tones, video calls, warning tones, etc are all set to off.
I renamed this profile (I used the "pager" profile) to "Car"
Under Menu > Tools > Settings > General > Enhancement set the "Headset" to use the profile you just configured for this purpose.
I have tried the "Wireless Car Kit" but found that it mine actually uses "headset" so I have set that as the default with my "Car" setting.

I have an N80 and above Parrot car kit, both with the latest firmware. However, the phone doesn't auto connect to the car kit with Bluetooth switched on (despite selecting this option when pairing).

  • IPhone 3G with Parrot CK3000 Evolution

I ordered a Parrot CK3000 for my Saab the other day. It should be here Monday so I can install it. I have read though that I cannot sync my iPhone's contacts to it to be able to use the voice dialing and stuff. It's not the end of the world, I don't mind selecting a contact from the phone, I'm just wondering if it's something that Parrot and Apple might support in the future. I know Parrot just came out with some iPhone/iPod-specific devices, but they are out of my price range. Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hello,
Such an option is not available on the iPhone. Whether it will become available in the near future is not known. The fact is, that enabling iPhone to properly connect to other deviced via bluetooth is feasible, although it would take some rewrighting of iPhone's bluetooth support in general. That's the main reason I have recently put up [this|http://pleasefixtheiphone.com/problems/view/6330> ticket in an iPhone site.

  • Parrot CK3000

Well, I installed a Parrot CK3000 in my bosses car today and discovered later that the iPhone is no longer listed as a supported phone on the Parrot support page for the CK3000...
I'm guessing this is because downloading the contacts from the iPhone doesn't work.
Oh well, My Boss likes it anyway.
I on the other hand, I now know that the best choice for My car will be the CK3100.
Apparently form other posts I have read, it can download the contacts.

    I just purchased an iPhone (w/ V1.1.1 SW) and I have a Parrot CK3000 Evolution car-kit (w/ V5.10c firmware)
It will discover the kit fine and pair, but when I reenter the car later it seems very unreliable in repairing. One time it did pair several minutes after entering the car, and the other time it did not seem to connect - but did when I unpaired and repaired (reentered PIN).
Anyone finding any tricks to make this work better? I just got off the phone with Apple support to no avail (could not find any info on it). I've also sent a note to Parrot support....

  • Purchased new garmin gps and they require downloading there program and it is incompatible with firefox. what now?

I need to register new garmin gps and after downloading garmin registration program and allow me to update gps, firefox box appears stating download is not compatible with Garmin Communicator plug in.

See the Garmin website for an updated version of their Plugin, one that is compatible with Firefox 5.

  • 1.1.3 and Parrot Bluetooth car kit problems and solution

I've discovered a potential fix with help from the good folks at Parrot Bluetooth devices technical support. The main issue with version 1.1.3 upgrade and car kits appears to be when the iPhone attempts to sync contacts with the BT device. Apparently, something changed in 1.1.3 about how Apple sent contacts through BT. To fix it on a Parrot car kit, first delete the iPhone from the list of paired devices on the car kit. Then unpair the car kit on the iPhone. Pair the two devices following your devices instructions, only with contact synchronization disabled. On my 3200LS this meant selecting "Disable Synchro" from the phone pairing list. The connection was quick and rock solid after doing this.
I have seen reports of this same solution working with Ford Sync devices also, and it may address some of the Garmin issues too. Obviously, this isn't ideal since you won't have any contacts or at least will have to manually enter them on your device. But it should get you through until Apple devises a fix in a near future (hint Apple) upgrade.

    Klash,
Try updating to iPhone 1.1.4, and see if your issue is resolved.
    Hope this helps,
    Nathan C.

I have a problem with my n73 and my parrot ls3200. I had another phone some time ago and it was fine with the bluetooth device, but when i connect my nokia on the parrot's display i cant load the phonebook. I can speak or dial but only by numbers i cant use my names at all. If someone know how to fix it help me pls.

    Hi
Thank you Parrotboy, I can not see that the Parrot is at fault because I have done a couple of tests.
1)My phone has the same problem with a Parrot in a other car
2)My Parrot works fine paired up with someone else phone.
So it's got to be in the phone somewhere.
It's been so good for a while, can these problem just happen and if so why?

  • E51 Error Code and why

I have an intermittent error that keeps on coming up on my E51.This happens when I press the Menu Key.The phone seems to lock up and at the top a "C" appears every time I try to go into the menu.
What it looks like is a book then a "C" followed by my network which is O2-UK.
All other features work and by turning the phone off and on clears this.
Any help as this phone was a Christmas Present so not old.

This is an update to the problem.
Now when I sometimes press the Menu Key the Phone now locks up completely.
This means I have no access to any funtions.

  • When I click on add-ons it shows for a second then automatically goes to Garmin URL and can't use add-ons

my add-ons has been hijacked and the garmin url immediately replaces add-ons and I lose the functionality of add-ons. Thank you.

It could be the work of one of your add-ons, or even add / mal-ware.
Look thru your add-ons list and make sure you know what each one is
there for. Also, check the programs that are on your computer
Go thru the list and use a web search to check any that you don't
    know what they are.

  • N95 and Parrot Bluetooth

    Hi,
I have recently bought a Parrot in car bluetooth system and have got it to work with my N95, just wanted to know if there is a setting on my phone so that I can share my phonebook with this bluetooth handsfree. At the moment I have to scroll on the phones phonebook, when there is the option to do it on the bluetooth units screen.
Not sure if this is a N95 issue or a Parrot issue, so I would appreciate and help or suggestions.
    Regards

And in a perfect world, everyone who has a "I can't download my contacts to my Bluetooth carkit/Parrot/anything" post will read the solution!
In a perfect world Nokia would second guess that you might just want to do this with your new phone
Happy to have helped forum in a small way with a Support Ratio = 37.0

  • 6021 with Tomtom and Parrot Car kit

    Hi,
As the title suggests I have just had a parrot car kit fitted and now tomtom cannot connect to the phone. The question really is whether the 6021 can manage two bluetooth devices at once as obviously the carkit is talking to it and TomTom tries to connect to GPRS the traffic data.
Does anyone else have a similar setup and can suggest a workaround if the above is not supported?
    regards,
    Shortguy

Your phone will only support one audio accesory at once.

  • Nokia 6120Classics And Parrot 3200

    I have a Nokia 6120 Classic and a Parrot 3200.
The phonebook wont be send to the Parrot. Anyone who has an idea how to fix this.
I've also heard that its the same problem with Nokia 810...

    Works for me!
    Have you download it correctly?
Earlier I had paired the Parrot and my Nokia 6120 classics. And it connects automaticly.
Then I downloaded the software and started it. Then I go to my car and put ignition on, after about 30 sec, the phone and the Parrot has been paired. Then the software starts to send the phonebook automaticly to the Parrot. When its done, you can stop the program.
As I said, it works for me. But it would be better if it worked without any programs running on the phone!Message Edited by myfree68 on 02-Dec-200704:44 PM
