  • CUCM 8.6.1.2000 - Call History not logging, and no ring tone access.

    Hello,
    A little background:
    Recently, I setup a UCS C-210 M2 with CUCM 8.6.1 and restored our Pub and Sub to it. Also migrated to from physical Unity to Virtual CUC, same with Presence.
    I've also setup a 2nd CUCM Sub, as well as new CUC and CUP subs on a second UCS C210. I also upgraded CUP to 8.6.4. before adding the Sub CUP node.
    I'm thinking my problems began when I added the 2nd Subscriber CUCM node on our 2nd C210. Here is a description of what's going on.
    -  I cannot change ring tones on an IP phone. I get "Ring List Unavailable" when I try to change a ring tone. I noticed that my phone had changed over to the CTU ring tone around the time I brought up the VM environment. The CTU ring tone was a custom one I had loaded at one time.
    - I cannot access any call history on my IP phone. My Jabber client logs call history just fine.
    Seems to be a TFTP issue, but I restarted the Cisco TFTP service yesterday, and it did not help. I also reset the Device Pool, which didn't seem to do anything.
    Also, I'm still a bit unclear on which services I should be running on my new Subscriber node.
    Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks again, guys!!
    -Jonathan

    I had this issue and resolved it. The problem was that we had changed DHCP servers over to a different platform and the new DHCP server didn't have Option 66 defined to point the phones to a TFTP server. Once we re-specified the TFTP server IP's for option 66 in DHCP and reboot the phones the issue was resolved.

  • N97 - Missed calls not logged

    Hi,
    Just got a new N97 with Vodafone and getting the same problems as others (backlight etc). I can live with that for now until the Vodafone firmware is available.
    But missed calls are important to me. I'm getting missed calls but not logged. I just get 'no missed calls' in the log but I get the missed calls notification. The 'Received calls' and 'Dialled numbers' logs are working fine.
    Now sure if this another firmware issue or some settings not set correctly. I've not managed to find this problem on the net.
    Any help appreciated.

    I've uinstalled the app (and also any apps I think might be causing the problem) and did an soft reset (*#'7780#).
    I've also tried changing the log duration from 30 days to No log and back again to 30 days.
    Unfortunately it has made matters worse. Now, it doesn't even store any of it (missed, incoming, outgoing calls). It's so unstable now. Sometimes if I switch from one tab (missing call to incoming) it just hangs. Only way to come out is using menu key and Exit. Other times I can see displaying 'Retrieving data' and hangs. Even sometimes the numbers are displayed in 'Received calls', and I tab to 'Missing calls' and back to 'Received calls' the numbers are gone again. I've tried the soft reset many times now but no luck.
    As I've not seen others having this problem I suspect I may have a defective N97.
    My firmware is Vodafone UK  v10.0.012.

  • IPhone 4S does not display call log. "Recents" blank.

    My iphone 4s does not record call log in the "Recents". I can not see who called me and whom I called. The list is blank.
    Please help me to fix it.

    Reject and Answer buttons only show up if the phone is not in standby. If the phone is in standby and /or the screen is locked, you will see swipe to answer instead.

  • CDR not logging phone calls.

    Hello, I'm just getting into Voice and trying to save Call Detail Records to the buffer of a 2800 series router running CME 8.6 with two 7940 ip phones.
    I have CME set up and I'm placing a call and connecting between two extensions after following the book example to set CDR up.
    Basically, the book example just shows the following commands:
    logging buffered 512000
    dial-control-mib retain-timer 10080
    dial-control-mib max-size 700
    Then, when I Place a call between two phones I have set up and answer the call. I check the logs(show logging) and no CDR info is logged like the pictures show. This is getting very frustrating but appears like it should be very easy to set up.
    Is there something I am missing?

    Is there more to the CDR configuration than the above?  We're trying to track down who's been accidentally dialing 911 and I'm puzzled as to why CDR is not logging anything in the buffer when I try to test.

  • 9300i will not log missed/dialled/received calls

    My communicator does not want to log calls on the 'phone screen. It does log all details on the internal screen. If I had a missed call I would nver know as it does not state "Missed Call". My other Nokia 'phones have alays done this as a default. I wonder if it is a phone settings issue or something to do with SIM card settings (Orange).

    try to backup your phone by a full backup,
    format it by removing the battery and re-insert it back and press on ctrl+shift+f when nokia appears, and when prompt click on format.
    then restore back the backup as partial restore.
    this will work, check and let me know

  • Not showing Caller Name on E51

    I have upgrade software but after that my phone not showing caller name on the screen.Before upgrading my phone was shwoing caller name when I received call. my all phone numbers are on SIM , can some body let me know how this will work or its setting.

    The problem may be, that you have all your contacts on the SIM card and on the phone as well. Is that possible?
    Duplicate matches for a specific phone number lead to not showing a phone number at all...

  • THE DATABASE CONNECTION IS LOST :;; WIERD  ORA-01012 NOT LOGGED ON ERROR

    ERROR: ORA-01012 NOT LOGGED ON ERROR
    I AM USING A JAVA SWING INTERFACE (JDK 1.1.8), WHICH USES JNI TO CALL C PROGRAMS WHICH IN TURN CONNECTS TO THE DATABASE, ORACLE 8.1.6.
    A DATABASE CONNECTION IS ESTABLISED IN THE MAIN CLASS BY CALLING A FUNCTION FROM THE CONSTRUCTOR.
    FOR ALL OTHER FUNCTION CALLS WHICH ARE MADE FROM WITHIN THIS CONSTRUCTOR, THE CONNECTION STAYS.
    BUT AFTER THE CONTRUCTOR CALL IS COMPLETE, DATABASE CONNECTION IS STRANGELY LOST. THUS ALL OTHER FUNCTION CALLS FAIL BECAUSE OF CONNECTION ISSUES GIVING ORA-01012. THOUGH IF I CHECK UP IN THE DATABASE, THE CONNECTION DOES FIND AN ENTRY.
    SO IT APPEARS THAT SOMEHOW THE JAVA INTERFACE LOOSES TRACK OF CONNECTION. BUT STRANGELY ALL THE FUNCTIONS WORK IF CALLED FROM THE CONSTRUCTOR......... BUT THATS NOT THE IDEA.
    PLEASE HELP, THIS PROBLEM IS BUGGING ME FOR WEEKS NOW.
    THANKS
    AMIT

    apologise for the caps lock.
    i am working on a previous system with java swing front end which alread uses jni, and connects to database using pro *c.
    My problem is that the connection is lost as soon as the constructor of the main class is run, giving an
    ORA-1012 NOT LOGGED ON ERROR.
    But if i place the same calls in the contructor all the database call work.
    It somehow appears that the java interface looses the connection context. Though the session does find entry in the oracle dynamic tables as long as i dont close the front end main window, thereby meaning that its the jave interface which looses the context.
    part of the code of the main class eiquser.
    //constructor
    public EiqUser() {
         super();
         initMRI();
    private void initMRI() {
         try {
              /* initialize geoManager environment */
              int rccc = new EiqCfuncs().eiqInitEnv();
    //eiqinitenv is a c function which connects to database using pro *C
              EiqCfuncs cfuncs = new EiqCfuncs();
              //EiqCfuncs has the prototypes of c functions used bye the java interface
              this.ivjFileMenu.setText(cfuncs.eiqGetText(resNum.getTEXT_FILE_MENU())); // sets the menu name
    and so on.........
    public void eiqUser_WindowClosed(java.awt.event.WindowEvent windowEvent) {
         new EiqCfuncs().eiqTermEnv(); // gives ora-1012 error
    //eiqtermenv is supposed to disconnect from data base, but returns an ora-1012 not logged on erro
         return;
    //eiqtermenv closes the connection with the data base. But fails in this case. if i place the same call ( eiqtermenv) in the initMRI function or the contructor it succeeds.
    Plus if i dont use the java interace and use a c stub for executing the same sequence of functions, then i dont face any problems.
    the proc calls exectuted ultimately by...
    :::eiqinitenv
    exec sql connect using :sqlid identified by sqlpw; // succeeds giving sqlerr.sqlcode=0;
    ::::eiqterm env
    exec sql commit work; //fails giving 0ra-1012 error
    exec sql rollback work;
    Why is the java interface loosing track of the connection once done with the constructor of the main class?? The session still finds an entry in the oracle dynamic tables.
    Please help
    Thx

  • ST03N shows users accessing transactions even when not logged in

    Hello all...
    We are trying to determine how many times a user executed a transaction during a specific period, and are using ST03N to do this.
    We get the information fine, but it shows non-system users as having accessed transactions on days they are not logged in or it shows excessive use of a transaction (i.e 8000 times in a 20 day period).
    We have confirmed that no batch jobs or system jobs are running or have run under their ID's.  Additionally, it shows use of transactions which the users are not authorized to use.
    Please help as we are trying to explain this for SOX purposes.
    Cheers all!
    Joe Johnson

    Thanks for the replies...
    We can use AL08, but it doesn't show any user activity for the specific users that keep popping up in ST03N.
    RFC calls seem to be closest to explaining this, but how can one track the calls made by a user?  Additionally, if the ID is not authorized to perform a transaction shouldn't the RFC call fail?

  • Error: "Not logged on in interface XBP"

    We are developing an external monitoring tool to call CCMS Bapi's via RFC calls.
    As per the documentation, we are opening RFC connection and then calling function module(BAPI).
    When we pass the BAPI, we get the error message "Not logged on in interface XBP".
    Kindly guide us if we are missing any steps

    Hi:
    Yes, you need to logon/logoff to the external interface first in order to call a BAPI; otherwise, the system will raise the exception message "Not logged on in interface XBP"
    Do the following in your code prior to calling the XBP BAPI:
       Start XMI Session - XBP Interface
      CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_XMI_LOGON'

          EXTCOMPANY = '<Your Company Name or so>'
          EXTPRODUCT = '<Your Product Name or so>'

    There is no point in retry on binding fault, rather you can raise it as exception and catch it in sepcific catch block or catch all will handle it.
    Ideally this particular instance will be faulted and if required you can customize to send a mail with fault string to developer or support person or dba
    This type of fault need human intervension to fix this code or it could be data issue.

  • What is needed to run the deployment utility while not logged into Windows?

    I am running a bash script to perform nightly builds of our test s/w. This script calls the deployment utility via command line. The actual command I am using is:
    /cygdrive/c/Program\ Files/National\ Instruments/TestStand\ 4.1.1/Components/Tools/Deployment\ Utility/DeploymentUtility -- build "C:\Sandbox\ATE\Production_Test_Projects\eHLC_RX\Deployment\Unified_eHLC_RX_Test_Deployment_Config.tsd"
    It works flawlessly as long as I am logged into the PC. I have a cron job running to invoke my main script on a daily basis. As soon as I log out of the PC is when I am having the trouble. The script does get started but when looking at the processes on the PC I see my bash sessions open as well as the deployment utility open but it is not doing anything. If I end the deployment utility process the bash script continues and exits normally. Is there something I have to put in the command line to make the deployment utility work if I am not logged in? I have the cron running as a service and it is using my username and pw when required. But the deployment utility just hangs and does nothing. The deployment utility log is blank so it was basically opened but did not perform the build. Any ideas as to what may be causing this? Thanks in advance for any help.
    Troy

    Here is a little more information. I changed the service that is running my script which is calling the Deployment Utility via command line from This Account on the Log On tab which requires my username and password to Local System Account and checked Allow Service to Interact with Desktop. This time when I was logged out of the PC and the script started I logged back on and could see the message that was thrown when the Deployment Utility was initialized. I could not see this with the service set to the other parameter because it is running in the back ground. I am sure this is what is happening because in this state I check the processes on the PC and it is reflecting the same information. The memory usage is the same and the Deployment Utility is doing nothing obviously waiting for acknowledgement of this error. If I click OK the build does start but at the end I get all types of debug messages at the end which do not happen when I am logged in and this process completes. Does anyone have any idea what this error message is referring to and maybe how to fix it?
    Thanks again for any help.

  • SPA112 - Can receive but not make calls

    I have just setup an SPA112 at home behind a NAT router and have configured it to a state where I can receive but not make calls.
    It registers fine and remains registered.
    The Line 1 Status indicates a State of "invalid" and a Tone of "reorder" when the call fails.
    I believe I have fiddled with the dial plan sufficient to ensure that the number is not being rejected based on it. My current dial plan is as follows:
         (*xx|000S0|0[2-9][69]xxxxxxxS0|[69]xxxxxxxS0|04xxxxxxxxS0|xxxxxxxxxxxx.)
    I have tried with and without an outbound proxy.
    I have attempted to debug the issue, enabling full DEBUG level logging and setting "SIP debug option" to "full", but all I get in the log when making a failed call is the following:

    I have been unable to find any information about these warnings on th net.
    I can successfully make calls with soft phones configured with similar settings behind the same router.
    What am I missing?
    Any suggestions appreciated, thanks.

    Thanks for the post.
    To clarify, I have been testing the connection by attempting calls to and from my mobile phone. If I use my mobile to call the number linked to the VOIP account that the SPA112 connects to, the call is received fine and the call works perfectly; I can hear voice at both ends fine.
    If I attempt to call the mobile from the phone behind the SPA112 I immediately get a reorder tone as soon as the number is dialed by the SPA112 (i.e. immediately if it matches a number in the dial plan followed by S0 or after the short wait period otherwise etc.)
    On the other hand, if I use a softphone (I've tried MicroSIP and Blink) I can place calls to the same mobile through the same VOIP account from the same LAN behind the same NAT as the SPA112, and the calls are received and bidirectional voice comms works just fine.
    I'm not sure if I can make calls internal to my LAN with this setup... I only have the one VOIP account, and have no SIP server on the LAN (if that's the right terminology, I'm new to this).
    Unfortunately I'm not sure what you're refering to when you talk about ACL and COR. The topology is very straight forward: the SPA112 (along with a couple of PCs) on a LAN behind a NAT router with an internet connection on the other side. The SPA112 is configured as a DMZ, though I don't believed this had any impact for better or worse. In no test for either SPA112 or softphone have I forwarded any ports or changed any router configuration at all (with the exception of the DMZ).
    So the question is why the softphone can place calls fine, but the SPA112 can only receive calls. The dial plan is an obvious answer, but I'm fairly certain I've ruled this out.
    If someone can tell me how to get more detailed logging out of the SPA112 that would be very useful as well.

  • NotifyCB notification procedure not being called.

    Hi.
    I'm running on an 11g (11.2.0.2.0) database and trying to get my notification procedure called in advanced queues.
    I followed the example by asktom here:
    http://asktom.oracle.com/pls/asktom/f?p=100:11:0::::P11_QUESTION_ID:8760267539329
    I completed the same steps except for the creation of the table he inserts his de-queued message into (instead I redirected the insert to another pre-existing table).
    Everything works fine upto a point. The message is placed into the queue ( and I can query on it to confirm it's there)
    However the dequeue routine ins't being called.
    I've included logging code into it and confirmed it's not being called.
    Is there an extra step that needs to be performed to enable the de-queue routine to be called ?
    Regards,
    Greg.

    Hi Paul.
    Thanks for staying with me on this.
    Currently, my job_queue_processes is set as:
    select value from v$parameter where name='job_queue_processes';
    14The sql queries you have are slightly different from the doc id, so hadn't run them before.
    The first returned no result, so I checked entries in dba_scheduler_jobs and found no lower(job_actions) records that were like '%register_driver%'.
    Should an entry be there at least? If so, is that part of a normal install of the database where AQ is concerned ?
    As for the second query, no results either.
    With that in mind, I checked entries in sys.aq_srvntfn_table_1 to look for the msgid of the message that was enqueued.
    I can confirm my message is listed in my app_queue_tablename (which in my code is AQ_MESSAGE_QTAB) however,
    it's not listed at all iin sys.aq_srvntfn_table_1 (I checked by outputing the msgid parameter of the dbms_aq.enqueue call and looked for that)
    Would the %register_driver% dba_scheduler_jobs entry have created that record in sys.aq_srvntfn_table_1 if it was there and running?
    Regards,
    Greg.
    EDIT: I can't see any trace files being generated nor any items in the alert log when a message is enqueued.
    As for the emon process, sorry I'm not sure what that is. I see it mentioned on the metalink site but wasn't sure what it was.
    EDIT2: I'll be away for the next 2 weeks so thank you for your help albeit I wont be able to respond until then.
