E51 Shift Calendar Entries One Day

Hi,
I have E51 with latest software- 200.34.36. I found that all the calendar entries was shifted one day.
Whats the reason behind that? and how to solve it?
Thanks in advanced.

I just deleted the entire Google-account from the Pre calendar and re-added it. It seems that all events show up correctly now

  • Birthdays on my calendar are one day early

Has anyone had this issue before?  After I switched over to a 4S from a 3G, I noticed that all my contacts' birthdays are showing up one day early on my calendar.  However, when I go to the contact entry in the address book, it displays correctly there.  What's weird about this issue is that both my mac and ipad display birthdays using the same method and it's correct on both of those.  They all sync via mobileme, and running iOS5 and Snow Leopard.
Before erasing my phone's contacts, and trying to resync them, I was wondering if this could be fixed via the phone, or the bug isolated and sent up to Apple's software department.
    Thanks!

dom_99, this worked for me: (thanks to @fortbailey)
    (1) If your iPad/phone is syncing contacts with iCloud, turn it off. In Settings on your iPad/phone, Mail,Contacts,Calendars, Accounts, iCloud, turn off Contacts.
    (2) sync your iPad/phone to iTunes.
    (3) now select the ‘Info’ tab in iTunes for your iPad/iPhone. Ensure that ‘Sync Address Book Contacts’ is ticked. (You can revert to syncing with iCloud later, after this process is complete.)
    (4) scroll to the very bottom section of the Info tab. Where it says ‘Replace information on this iPad/iPhone’, select ‘Contacts’.
    (5) Sync again.
Now check Calendars on iPad/iPhone, this process ‘fixes’ the information of birth dates and they should now appear correctly.

  • Has anyone had a problem with the calendar being one day off this year

the birthdays in my contacts list is shown in my calendar.  However, they are showing up on the calendar one day earlier than the actual birthday.  I assume it's because of leap year.  I'm surprised that I haven't heard of a fix for this.  Thoughts?

I don't have to be doing anything or be anywhere near the computer.
The machine feels warm but i don't know if thats normal or not.

  • My calendar is one day out when synced from iPhone to imac

I have an iPhone 5s.  I have just bought an iMac 21.5inch.
When I connected my iPhone to the iMac to sync it, the calendar events all came over, but they are one day behind.
I am very new to iMac.
If anyone has a suggestion - I would really appreciate it.
    Thanks

    Hi ellie,
Welcome to the Support Communities!  If your iPhone's calendar events are one day behind when synced to your iMac, check the date and time settings on both devices.  Here's how:
iOS: Troubleshooting issues with date and time - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-is/HT203483
Ensure that the version of iOS on your device is up to date.
If the option to enable date and time automatically is available, turn it on. Tap Settings > General > Date & Time.
Ensure that your time zone is set up correctly. Tap Settings > General > Date & Time > Time Zone.
If the incorrect date, time, or time zone is being set up automatically on the device, please notify your cellular provider. In the meantime, tap General > Date & Time and turn off Set Automatically. Then set the appropriate time and time zone manually.

  • Calendar events one day ahead

My Calendar events are show on the correct days when I view the Calendar on the "Landscape" view mode, But when I look at the Calendar using the "List" view mode all of the events are shown to occur one (1) day earlier. Is there a way to fix this?
I purchased a iPhone 6 last week and synchronized my account using iTunes. I didn't notice any issues until today, but this may have been occurring since the beginning.

I have the same problem. HELP!

  • Nokia E51 Deleted Calendar Entries

    Hi all
I synced my E51 with outlook on Windows XP using PC Suite. No problem.
Then removed Nokia PC Suite from XP. Re-installed PC Suite..discovered all calendar appointments for next 2 months were gone on both XP and phone

    Not in Deleted Items
    Thanks

It's usually an incorrect setting somewhere that causes one to take priority over the other. I had a similar problem with outlook on a windows mobile device a few years ago, the entire calender just vanished for no reason.
I don't use pc suites sync program enough to say for sure what could have caused it.

  • Calendar prints one day out

Seems folks have been talking about this issue for a few months now.  When is this going to get fixed?

  • How do I stop calendar from setting a second alert one day before?

I have iOS 7.0.6 with calendar synced to my gmail account with CalDAV. When I create a new event in the calendar on my iphone, I set either a single alert or none. When I check back a few seconds later, the alert I set has become the "second alert," and the first alert is set to "one day before." Google calendar correctly shows a single alert, the one I set. If I then delete the first alert, it stays deleted. But then if I edit the even in google calendar, the "one day before" alert reappears on the iPhone. (Though still not on Google calendar.)
It's driving me batty with all of these false alarms that are actually for tomorrow's activities. Is there a way to set alarms in iOS 7, or is that just a sacrifice we have to put up with to fix the iOS SSL bug? Should I set the current date in my iPhone to be one day late?

    Settings > Mail Contacts, Calendars.
Scroll down to Calendars and this sets default alert times.
If you add an alert to a new appt, it is in addition to the default alert time.
Either turn off default alert time or set the default alert time to when you want you want & don't add alert to the event when you create it

  • Duplicate calendar entries after switching to z10, need to clear my local calendar

    Hi,
While transferring my data from a bold 9900 to my new z10 using BB Link I ended up with duplicate calendar entries, one from my account calendar and another from my local.  Some of the entries don't show up as reoccurring so it's difficult to remove.  How do I clear all the local entries?  I tried searching and only found solutions for the previous versions of the desktop software.
    Thank you,

    Hey z10bbuser,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
    Thanks for the question.
You can not clear individual databases in BlackBerry 10.  You can clear the calendar individually by manual deletion or you can do a security wipe.  This is found under Settings>Security & Privacy.  Please Note: A Security wipe will erase all data and installed applications on the BlackBerry Z10.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
    Cheers.

  • Ical one day off

Today I noticed many recurring events in the iPhone calendar are one day off. They are correctly defined in iCal on my Mac.
Does anybody have similar problems ?

I syned my iphone and wento the INFO page, and under the Advanced Section (at the bottom) I checked Replace Information on this iPhone and it fixed all my all day events.
Now I sync normally (I do not check that box) and it remains ok.
Still not sure how it got offset, but I'll just rewrite the calendar next time it happens.

  • A one day entry on iPhone calendar shows as two days on iPad?!

I know you're thinking this is probably something to do with timezones differences between the iPhone and the iPad?
Each year I put the F1 grand prix races in my calendar as a one-day event on the Sunday they take place. On Sunday 27th March 2011 is the Australian grand prix.
On my iPhone (I'm in the UK and running the latest version on an iPhone 4 etc.) it shows as a one-day event but on my iPad it stradles two-days! When I go to click EDIT on the iPhone entry, despite showing as a Sunday entry only, it shows that it starts on Sunday 27th March and finished on Monday 28th March!
I spent a couple of hours looking at this. No other grand prix date has this discrepancy between the iPad and the iPhone calendars (that are sync'd with MobileMe calendar). It's just this one date.
I even had a friend add an event on the same date and it also suggested it was a one day event but when you edit it then it shows it's a two day event.
And then the only explanation dawned on me. It wasn't time zone setting differences as that would affect all the entries like that the whole year.
27th March is the date the clocks go forward in the UK for British Summer Time!
Is it a bug though? Why does the iPhone show it as one day but the iPad show it as two?
What is it with Apple and calendars and alarms?! And don't start me on the MobileMe calendar and Outlook integration. It's rubbish.

Hi Boneart - I feel for you.
I too have the same issue (Feb 2014) which I have just discovered today as I am not a strong user of all-day events, until today when I tried to schedule annual holidays in my diary.  I can confirm the EXACT SAME issues that you have described with all-day events displacing 24 hrs EARLY for sync Outlook to iOS calendar, and all-day events displaced 24hrs LATE for sync iOS calendar to Outlook.  I also confirm that the issue does not exist for specified time appointments, as you also found.
I note from several other discussion threads that Apple have previously focussed on an issue of all-day events syncing to span 2-days; that is not yet apparent in my situation  BUT I will be watching with interest whether a subsequent synchronisation causes the displaced dates to also synchronise back providing the same event apparently spanning 2 days but ACTUALLY existing as two events with identical properties on successive days.
One oddity is that I also operate in the NZ time zone; I wonder if that is significant???
For a brief period I trialled iCloud with a thrid-party patch to resolve the native iCloud issue of not providing 2-way synch with Outlook.  That worked beautifully ... until Apple provided an update to the iCloud interface which destroyed all functionality for me.  I'm back to hard-wire sync via USB wire again.  Very frustrating!!
Finally it is sad that Apple has no interest in these issues.  It strikes me that as soon as there is a non-Apple platform involved they blame the other system and wash their hands of it.

  • Calendar entry off by one day

    Hi
I have a weird problem, I have one calendar in which the entries are off by one day only on my iphone, they are correct on my ical where I enter them and also on icloud website calendar but NOT on the iphone. They show as all day events on the iphone exactly one day prior to when they should be displayed. Any thoughts?

    (1) If your iPhone is syncing contacts with iCloud, turn it off. In Settings on your iPhone, Mail,Contacts,Calendars, Accounts, iCloud, turn off Contacts.
    (2) sync your iPhone to iTunes.
    (3) now select the ‘Info’ tab in iTunes for your iPhone. Ensure that ‘Sync Address Book Contacts’ is ticked. (You can revert to syncing with iCloud later, after this process is complete.)
    (4) scroll to the very bottom section of the Info tab. Where it says ‘Replace information on this iPhone’, select ‘Contacts’.
    (5) Sync again.
Now check Calendars on iPhone, this process ‘fixes’ the information of birth dates and they should now appear correctly.

  • ITouch syncs calendar one day out

I use a PC and MS Outlook. When syncing the calendar to the iTouch, for some events it either puts the event in one day earlier or shows it occuring over 2 days. When I change it on my iTouch, and then sync, it changes the entries on Outlook (not Express). I have looked thru many discussion boards and cannot find an answer. Anyone out there able to help??? Al

I had a similar experience the other day. It was the first time I was setting my email up in Outlook (I normally use Entourage) and I didn't set my time zone before I synced the calendars. It assigned me to some weird pacific time zone and time-shifted all of my appointments by about 16 hours.
I'd suggest checking to make sure that your iPod and Outlook at both set for the same time zone and then re-sync.

  • All my appointments shifted one day backwards when sync'd

When sync'ing my new iPhone 4S to my iMac, all the dates (e.g. appointments, birthdays, etc) shifted one day backwards.  For example, a Birthday entered in my Address Book, that populated into my iCal, on my iMac for December 10th showed up in my iPhone Calendar for December 9th after sync'ing.
    Any thoughts?

So... although I have not found a solution, I have experimented, identified the limits of the issue and found a work around.
Summary of Issue: Dates entered in either iCal or Address Book on iMac shift one day backwards when sync'd to iPhone.  Only in the iPhone Calendar; they do not shift in the iPhone Contacts.
This issue does not occure in reverse, dates entered in the iPhone (vie either Contacts or Calendar) then sync'd to the iMac appear correct in both the Address Book and iCal on the iMac.
Also, dates entered in Contacts on the iPhone appear correct in the iPhone's Calendar.
Limit of issue... only dates pulled from the iMac to the iPhone shift one day and only in the iPhone's Calendar.
Work Around - After sync'ing dates 'from' the iMac 'to' the iPhone:
If the date was entered in iCal on the iMac simply go into the iPhone's Calendar and edit the event, revising it to the correct day.  No re-sync'ing necessary, but if you do nothing will change.
If the date was entered in Address Book on the iMac, the edit function does not exist in the Calendar on the iPhone (because it is not a Calendar-based event, it is a Contact-based event.)  You'll have to revise it in the iPhone's Contacts.  But, remember, it sync's over correctly there.  And in-order for the iPhone's Calendar to adjust it has to sense a revision...
You'll have to go into the iPhone's Contacts, revise the date to an incorrect date, save the change, then change it back to the correct date and save the change.  Then leave Contacts, enter Calendar and it will update.  Again, no re-sync'ing necessary, but if you do nothing will change.
Not a solution, but a work-around.  If anyone has a solution, I would still be interested in it.

  • Calendar off by one day

Just noticed today that my Palm Desktop has shifted all of my recurring dates between April and November back one day. Most things, like birthdays, are all off one day during this time frame (every year). It also shifted some non-recurring events back one day. What the heck can cause this. Any ideas? Help!
    Post relates to: Palm m505

I'm having the same issue with event dates on Palm Desktop v4.1 between April and October being changed to one day early.  However, at the fringes, the dates are correct.  For example, events on April 1 and 2 remain OK but one on April 8 was moved to the 7th.  Similarly, an event on October 21st is now on the 20th but one on October 31st is OK.  That would seem to indicate that the period might have to do with when DST used to start and end (I think).  Furthermore, appointment times during this period were advanced one hour.
Events on my Palm IIIxe handheld are all OK but I haven't done a synch since 3/4/07, the week before the new DST change date.  (I never changed the time on the handheld for DST.)  I haven't wanted to do another one, even forcing the handheld to update the desktop, because I've since made changes on the desktop that I'd have to recreate, if I can remember all of them.
I am running Windows XP Pro but am way behind on OS updates so don't believe that would have been the cause in my case.  I manually changed the Windows desktop time on March 11th.  At that time, I forgot to change the setting so that it would not update the time from an online service and I remember I had to change it again when the old DST date came around.  While I can understand how this could have had an impact on calendar times, I don't understand why it would affect dates.
I may be forced to manually fix things on the desktop but would much prefer if there was an easier solution.  Mostly, I'd like to make sure, after doing all that, the problem doesn't repeat itself.
