E51 tone-dial tones are not sent so I can't "press...

Sorry, but I don't even know what you call this so can't search for a solution anywhere!
My e51 doesn't seem to send the unique tone/signal of each key through the call. This means that if I get to an automated switchboard I cannot "press 1 for department X" etc. Does anyone know why this is and how I can resolve it?

Ok, so I've worked out I'm talking about DTMF tones. My manual doesn't mention them but a more extensive manual I've found online says:
Send DTMF tones
You can send dual tone multi-frequency (DTMF) tones
during an active call to control your voice mailbox or other
automated phone services.
Send a DTMF tone sequence
1. Make a call, and wait until the other end answers.
2. Select Menu > Options > Send DTMF. 37
3. Enter the DTMF tone sequence, or select a predefined
sequence.
Attach a DTMF tone sequence to a contact card
1. Select Menu > Contacts. Open a contact, and select
Options > Edit > Options > Add detail > DTMF.
2. Enter the tone sequence. To insert a pause of about 2
seconds before or between DTMF tones, enter p. To set
the device to send the DTMF tones only after you select
Send DTMF during a call, enter w.
3. Select Done.
This can't be the only way, surely?!?!? Surely it should be possible just to push the number keys?!?

My ring and text tones are not working?

Both my ring tone and text alert tone are not working. I'm only made aware I have a call or text message through the phone's vibration. I have checked all the 'Sound' settings and all appears to be fine and ringer volume slid to high.
Do I need to reboot this phone for them to work as I'm not sure how to do this? I'm using iPhone 4 version 5.0.1

Thank so much Ingo2711, your suggestion has solved my problem. I am so new to the iPhone I didn't realise it had a handy little mute button and it was infact switched onto 'mute'.

Out of Office Messages are Not Sent Out

Hi there,
I have an issue with Outlook's Out of Office feature. The Out of Office messages are not sent out (to both internal and external contacts) although it has been already turned on. Only one user is having this particular issue.
I've attempted these steps but the issue still persists.
a) Turning on OOO via OWA
b) Deleting the current profile and creating a new profile
Could anybody help me in this?

You issue might be related to this:
"By default, the out-of-office reply to Internet recipients (external senders) is turned off. Many administrators do not allow out-of-office replies to be sent outside the Exchange Server organization, so that unauthorized people do not
know when users are out of the office. "
You might want to follow the steps in below KB article to turn on out-of-office replies to the Internet or contact your administrator to check so:

IOS 5: regular messages are not sent if one recepient is registered with iMessage

There is a bug in iOS 5: SMS messages are not sent if one receipients mobile number is registered with iMessages.
This is confirmed by the developer of the team sms app: if you send a message to a number of receipients and one of the recepients mobile numbers, the message is sent do, is registered with iMessage, then none of the recipients will receive the message.
Does anyone know a work around until Apple comes up with a bugfix?

I am not sure about the details of your case, but I can confirm that a message does send to multiple recipients even if one of this has iMessage. I recently sent a message to two people, one with a BB and one with an iPhone 4 (iOS 5 and iMessage working). Because of the difference, it resorted to the least common denominator and sent the message as a standard text to both people. I was replied to by both parties. Based on your description I can confirm that your detail is not the case.
Have you checked through the settings in Messages? Do you have a texting plan associated with your account? I am sorry if these questions seem stupid, but they are worth asking to verify.

Wf mails are not sent

Workflow mails are not sent.
The global preference was set as Do not send emails, we changed the same to mail with attachments. After that we ran resend failed or undelivered messages request. Even then the messages are not sent.
mail_status is null in wf_notifications table for all of these messages.
None of the activities are errored.
I appreciate if any body faced similar situation and can point me where things are going wrong.

The notifications that were sent when the preference was set to "Do not send mail" are not considered failed or undelivered. Those notifications at the time they were sent were not supposed to be sent as e-mail.. so not sent. If you want them to sent as e-mail, you will have to manually update the MAIL_STATUS to MAIL, run $FND_TOP/sql/wfntfqup.sql to rebuild the mailer queue. This will take care of sending all those e-mails.

I repeated sending the mail with the same result and 2 or more mails in the draft folder. Yesterday I discovered that the mail had been sent 4 times!. Now I have the same problem: the mail has not been sent, it appears in the draft folder, I try to delete it but the mail remains in the draft folder. This happens after updating to Mac OS X 10.7.2 and migrating to iCloud.
I have MacBook 2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 Mb ram memory, Mac OS X Lion (10.7.2).

If those music are greyed out in iTunes on your laptop, are you able to play the music? If you cannot, it means that you probably deleted the mp3 file or moved it to another location where iTunes can no longer find. If they are greyed out on iTunes and cannot play them, I would just right click and delete it. Then re-sync with your iPad.

If some of your action status have errors occured during processing, you cannot re-process PO edition: you have first to identify what was the error.
So, get the application keys (PO number) from table PPFTTRIGG for which status is "2". Then, check in transactional what is exactly the error for each PO concerned.

FF Logs are not sent to the controllers

Hello SAP Gurus,
We have implemented GRC 10 on SP10, have configured EAM, and the Firefighter logs are populating afte running GRAC_EAM_LOG_SYNC_UPDATE, the notification is sent immediately to the FF owner after the FF ID login, but to trigger the workflow to populate Log reports after executing GRAC_EAM_WORKFLOW_SYNC, the email are not going to the controller, have checked the workflow notiifcation settings, its configured, and the parameters are set to "YES".
The sync job executes only for a second and gives the message as workflow sync is completed, but the email are not sent out.
It was working fine few days ago, but now the job runs only for a sec.
Any help or suggestion would be helpful regarding this?

The concern is the Workflow ysn was working fine few days ago,where the emails was sent out to the controlers and now seems to be broken, am i missing something on the configuration?
The MSMP for the Firefighter log report is active and generated.
Will apply the below notes , as it seems the notes are not available in the system,

Upgrade packages(mups) are not sent to ALL mobile clients

Upgrade packages are not sent to all mobile clients even though there are
subscriptions assigned. There are 3 sites(A,B,C) with these
subscriptions. Only one site(A) receives the package. The other two
sites(B and C) doesnt receive the package and their outbound queue doesnt
show the messages.
The subscriptions were earlier removed for these sites (B and C) and then
added back.
Generated all the bdocs in smoggen, gnrwb and sent the package again but in vain.

the generation did the trick. the queue has been stopped in between and that is the reason why the packages were not sent after the bdocs were generated.

I get an error message where my IM's in AIM are not sent

When I send IM's in my AIM profile some are not sent I get the following error message "The message “XXXXX…” could not be delivered. Your message could not be sent." I notice that it happens when I send a long message but it will send if I break up the message I'm trying to send. Is there any fix for this? Thanks a bunch!

There does appear to be a Character limit to IMs.
Copying an pasting crash logs can lead to this issue.
It can be better if you start the chat as Direct IM (See Buddies Menu) or convert it to Direct IM by including a pic or file in the chat.
This only works one-to-one and not in Group Chats.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
