E52 GMail doesn't work

Hello,
For two days I am busy for the settings for Gmail. I have reset my telefoon a couple of times. The problem is that I couldn't set a gmail account. If I click on the email butten, add new account, insert gmail account and password, nothing happend.
One time whene I reset my phone there where two options for setting email account Imap/?? en mail for exchange. I follow below link http://www.jaganath.net/content/technology/howto-configure-gmail-imap-on-nokia-n95/123. (not the hole list like hotmail,gmail,mail for exchange, lotus mail, ovi mail).
But I inserted the wrong things so I rest my phone.
Now only the list of options is availeble hotmail,gmail,mail for exchange, lotus mail, ovi mail. Gmail doesn't anything in here.
Please could anyone help me??

OK NOW YOU GO TO (SETTINGS, CONNECTIONS, DESTINATIONS)INTERNET OR SOMETHING AND YOU MUST SEE THE NEW GROUP (I THINK, OR MAKE THAT IN ONE WAY) AND PUT THE NEW GROUP AS PRIORITY NUMBER 1
OK IT WORKED FOR ME, I HOPE WITH THIS INFORMATION YOU GUYS GET LITTLE BIT FURTHER HOW TO USE WIFI AND EMAIL CLIENT OR CAN ASK ME HELP
NOW, IS IT NORMAL THAT THE PHONE SOMETIMES CAN FREEZE???? I GUESS THIS IS A SOFTWARE BUG, RIGHT????

Gmail doesn't work with Mail

It's been long time that Gmail doesn't work properly with Mail application. I don't have 2-step-verification process, so I do not understand why. It happens with Hotmail as well.
Mail says:

These are my settings for Google STMP.
Port 587 using SSL and Password Authentication.
As mentioned before at Google I have no 2 Step verification set but I do have the Less Secure app setting set.

You probably want to start by updating your OS, if your information is correct and you are still running 5.1.1. You may also want to try the Gmail app. I find it works very well.

New to Safari - GMail doesn't work?

I have always used Firefox on my Mac, but I decided to try Safari a little. I use Gmail religiously, but I noticed it only displays the "basic HTML" view in Safari. When I try to enable the "standard" view mode, it doesn't work.
I have tried searching the forums but haven't found any conclusive answers. Should I just stick with Firefox or Camino instead?

Is it possible that you have JavaScript turned off in Safari? That would do it, since Standard view for Gmail requires JavaScript.
If it's on, have you tried at different times of the day, since it could be an intermittent issue? Do youu get any error messages, or messages of any kind when it won't load Standard view? Post again with more details.

Everything works fine with IE; I connect to my gmail account and everything works normally.
When I use Firefox, I can login to my gmail account with no problem, but when I open an
email message, I see the message for 2 or 3 seconds, then I get dumped to a "re-enter your password" page. When I login again, I'm sent back to the same email message, I see it for 2 or 3 seconds, then it's back to the "re-enter your password" page. It doesn't matter which email message I try to view; works fine in IE, but "re-enter your password" in Firefox.

Does Gmail work better in a private browsing window? This is a test to see whether cookies are a factor. You can create a new private window by either:
* Pressing Ctrl+Shift+p
* orange Firefox button (or File menu) > New Private Window
More generally, when you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

Gmail doesn't work and I tried everything there is on these forums, it just doesn't want to work for me

gmail won't work in Firefox for me and I literally went to every forum an threat I could find and followed all of these instructions but I just can't get the damn thing to work, i even installed the Gmail panel app but I just won't work, it gives me the standard message that I need to enable my cookies, privacy, ... etc and I did all of that and all of the the other stuff (clear cache & cookies, change to 'no proxy', made a new profile, changed the file manually in the folder, etc.) and it just won't work and it's driving me insane. This made me change to chrome last year but that takes too much memory and I just love firefox. pls don't tell me I need to keep chrome installed just to read my mails there because this is ridiculous. pls help

I would advice you not to follow the above advice as that will cause you to delete the Firefox profile folder and you lose all your personal data (bookmarks and other data).
You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

Gmail doesn't work in Firefox and it constantly freezes up.

I have been getting the type error can't access dead object since version 14.01. Since upgrading I have had nothing but problems with Firefox. # times i have reverted back to 14.01 to get it to work with some semblance of consistency. I upgrade every time a new version become available but the problem doesn't go away.
I finally tracked the problem to Gmail. I only get the error when I try to open Gmail. Also Firefox is running like a pig since 14.01.
Constantly freezing up, getting the not responding message. Sometimes I just can't move my mouse for a minute or so.

I have done the safe mode thing to no avail.
I will try the other stuff.
Ever since i moved from 14.01 through the various versions to 18, I have had problems with Firefox. It is very slow and lots of time I get a Not Responding message.
I notice this error only happens when i access Gmail. I also notice that when I am in Google images, my Firefox really slows down and it also crashes a lot as the page of google images tries to load.
It seems all my Firefox problems have a tie in with Google.

I would like to know why, after updating mozilla, my gmail doesn't work properly. Specifically the chat client.

The chat client doesn't load the option to respond in chat. I can get messages from my friends but am not allowed to type back. This only became an issue after updating my firefox browser. I tried to revert to the prior gmail (as i am testing their newer version) and that didn't resolve the issue.

Upgraded to 8.0.1-send link in gmail doesn't work-Tried all send link ways

Vista 32 bit-Windows 7-Just upgraded to firefox 8.0.1 from 3.6 -Tried to send web page in Gmail link from File and Share and right clicking on Share Using Gmail. My Speed Dial page keeps coming up instead of Gmail. In addition, on top of Speed Dial page G Mail Manager log in box appears that says"Enter Account Info To Log In" but email and password are already there.
Upgraded because old version kept freezing. This one is horrible and not user friendly at all. I will be grateful for ANY help. Would like to uninstall and go back to old version but do not know how. Thank you.

I just got my emails again, not sure what did the magic, but this is what I did:
- Downloaded my enterprise certificates (device provisioining) - Maybe you don't have to do this step.
- Reset the iPAD (press power button and menu button until you see apple logo -> this doesn't erase data on the iPAD)
- Deleted the exchange account
- Created the exchange account - at this time the iPAD could confirm credentials
After a couple of minutes emails started coming again!
Btw, I had this issue after upgrading to iOS 8.1.1.

Your user agent is stuck at Firefox 3.5.2 due to a extension during when you had 3.5.2 and it tacked on FBSMTWB' on end and kept it from updating the version number. This was due to the "Fast Browser Search toolbar" extension (FBSMTWB). This issue is not a problem with Firefox 4.0 and newer.

Gmail doesn't work with Yosemite on Mac mail

Since upgrading my Macbook Pro to Yosemite, I have had continual problems with both my gmail accounts via Mac Mail. I also have Outlook and a ISP mail that I access via Mac Mail and there are no issues with both of these.
I also have my gmail accounts on my iphone and iPad and HAVE NOT upgraded and have no issues with gmail on these devices.
Whilst some may think it's gmail (continually asking for stupid 2-step verification when it has been disabled), I suspect it's the way that Apple is 'speaking' to gmail?? I'm not sure....I'm no techo. Just a hunch.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to rectify? I have googled the issue and solutions posted only seem to address gmail, not gmail AND Yosemite issue, so nothing works.
As it's now causing my mail to crash I have removed gmail from my Macbook.
I dare not upgrade software on my iphone or iPad !!

Here it is! I finally fixed the issue! I've literally tried everything and this is what i did! I downloaded the Gmail App and setup my email account. After that, i went back to a regular pre-installed Iphone mail app and added my Gmail account information and it worked. Basically, the app Gmail app from the Apple store somehow pushed the signal to Gmail, saying Here it is, it is working account.
I've spent about 3 days to figure out what was the problem, tried everything on the net, 2-step verification, Google display capture, deleting account and setting it up again, changing the password on Gmail account. I was going nuts! And i know there are so many people out there who are also having the same issue. They get this crazy message "Cannot Get Mail - The user name or password for 'Gmail' is incorrect." It was so annoying. I hated it!
The solution to this problem is: Go to App Store on your Ipad or Iphone and search for "Gmail". Download the first one, Free version, install it and setup an email account with your existing credentials, the ones that didn't work earlier, and to your surprise, it will allow you to add your account back.
Next step is to click Settings (on your Iphone, Ipad) --> Mail, Contacts, Calendars --> Add Account --> Gmail (Enter your lovely email credentials and you will see, it is working again, just like in early days!
I hope it will solve your frustration and disappointment.

Can I go back to Firefox 7? I want to enable the Google toolbar agai. My contacts were lost and gmail doesn't work the previous way.

I use Windows 7 Home Premium and gmail with contacts in Google toolbar. The contact list was lost, when Firefox 8.0 is used, and the gmail setup is changed and unsatisfactory.

To revert to the previous secure version which is 3.6.17, please do the following: 
#Go to [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html Download Firefox v3.6.17] and download it to the desktop. 
#Then go to Add/Remove Programs, scroll down to "Mozilla Firefox" and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc., (don't checkmark the box). 
#Then reboot and delete the folder called "Mozilla Firefox" at this location: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox 
#Finally run the installation file you downloaded to the desktop earlier. 
Your bookmarks, customizations etc., are maintained in a different location and will become available to you again once you complete the installation. 
After you complete the installation, go to the [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/ Plugins Check] page and update where necessary.
