E52 NGAGE enquiry.. where is it?

Where is it on the phone? I read that somewhere - on the applications or teh media section there would be an application for this - but i dont have it.
i try to send ngage games to my phone and play them - but it says "memory full" ...
How would i play n gage games on my phone?

Well, that would fit. It is a German handset. So I can stop being paranoid and accept the firmware as legitimate.
Neverteless, it seems that it is not really stable. I need to power cycle it several times a day. I'd prefer reverting to the previous one.
I reinstalled 073.001 a few hours ago, as suggested by Nokia Suite. Let's see if it helps. So far no further crash.
Or, to be precise, it didn't exactly crash, it just didn't respond to key presses. The only key that works in that case is the power switch. I can switch profiles, but none of them reacts to any other key.

Document Flow in Sales :
The sales documents you create are individual documents but they can also form part of a chain of inter-related documents. For example, you may record a customers telephone inquiry in the system. The customer next requests a quotation, which you then create by referring to the inquiry. The customer later places an order on the basis of the quotation and you create a sales order with reference to the quotation. You ship the goods and bill the customer. After delivery of the goods, the customer claims credit for some damaged goods and you create a free-of-charge delivery with reference to the sales order. The entire chain of documents the inquiry(va11), the quotation(VA21), the sales order(va01), the delivery(VL01N),picking(VL02N), the invoice(VF01), and the subsequent delivery free of charge creates a document flow or history. The flow of data from one document into another reduces manual activity and makes problem resolution easier. Inquiry and quotation management in the Sales Information System help you to plan and control your sales.

Sales
Inquiry - A customers request to a company that they provide a quotation or sales information without obligation. An inquiry can relate to materials or services, conditions and if necessary delivery dates. The sales area that accepts the inquiry becomes responsible for further processing.
Quotation - A quotation presents the customer with a legally binding offer for delivering a product or providing a service within certain fixed conditions. This offer is legally binding for the company within a specified time period. A sales area can reply to a customer inquiry with a customer quotation or use it to refer to a business partner contact.
Sales Order - Request from a customer to a company to deliver a defined quantity of products or provide a service at a certain time.
The sales area that accepts the inquiry is responsible for completing the agreement.
Create Delivery:a. Picking - The picking process involves taking goods from a storage location and staging the right quantity in a picking area where the goods will be prepared for shipping.
b. Packing - Packing is part of delivery- and shipment processing. When you process a delivery, you can select delivery items for packing and assign them to handling units (HUs).
c. Goods Issue - As soon as the goods leave the company, the shipping business activity is finished. This is illustrated using goods issue for outbound deliveries.
Billing - Billing represents the final processing stage for a business transaction in Sales and Distribution. Information on billing is available at every stage of order processing and delivery processing.
Sales document flow is as below.
1)VA11- It starts with an enquiry where i am enquire regarding the products a company s based on pre sales activities the company carries out like say mailers on any campaign that i have carried out that leads to an enquiry.
2) Va21- Next A quatation is placed ,Customer may have enquired about 30 products but you give quotation to only 20 items subject to their availability with you. quotation is a binding document about conformed price & delivery schedule.
3) VA01- When a quatation is placed the next step is the sales order. The same is a purchase order for the person who places the order and a sales order for the person who sells the products.
4) VL01N- Once the order is placed i create a delivery where i need to deliver the goods to the customer, here I need to see that pick qty and delivery qty is the same pick qty is that qty where i pick the goods from my warehouse.
5) Once i do the delivery the next step is Post goods Issue, which means my stock gets reduced and all my previous documents get updated. A post goods issue can be done before the goods leave to the customer or when the goods are in transit. But the same should be done.
6) VF01- The next step would be billing where after doing the post goods issue i raise and invoice to the customer which is called billing.
7) If the customer finds that there are some goods which are damaged he would return the goods back which are called returns and i would then raise a credit memo which would give him credit for the damaged goods.

The typical procurement cycle for a service or material consists of the following phases:
1. Determination of Requirements
Materials requirements are identified either in the user departments or via materials planning and control. (This can cover both MRP proper and the demand-based approach to inventory control. The regular checking of stock levels of materials defined by master records, use of the order-point method, and forecasting on the basis of past usage are important aspects of the latter.) You can enter purchase requisitions yourself, or they can be generated automatically by the materials planning and control system.
2. Source Determination
The Purchasing component helps you identify potential sources of supply based on past orders and existing longer-term purchase agreements. This speeds the process of creating requests for quotation (RFQs), which can be sent to vendors electronically via SAP EDI, if desired.
3. Vendor Selection and Comparison of Quotations
The system is capable of simulating pricing scenarios, allowing you to compare a number of different quotations. Rejection letters can be sent automatically.
4. Purchase Order Processing
The Purchasing system adopts information from the requisition and the quotation to help you create a purchase order. As with purchase requisitions, you can generate Pos yourself or have the system generate them automatically. Vendor scheduling agreements and contracts (in the SAP System, types of longer-term purchase agreement) are also supported.
5. Purchase Order Follow-Up
The system checks the reminder periods you have specified and - if necessary - automatically prints reminders or expediters at the predefined intervals. It also provides you with an up-to-date status of all purchase requisitions, quotations, and purchase orders.
6. Goods Receiving and Inventory Management
Goods Receiving personnel can confirm the receipt of goods simply by entering the Po number. By specifying permissible tolerances, buyers can limit over- and underdeliveries of ordered goods.
7. Invoice Verification
The system supports the checking and matching of invoices. The accounts payable clerk is notified of quantity and price variances because the system has access to PO and goods receipt data. This speeds the process of auditing and clearing invoices for payment.

purchasing dept will collect the purchse requisition and send request for quotation to collect the vendors.
Purchase Order(ME21N)
before this, MM people select vendor as per company needs. the purchase order will be released to the vendor(supplier) for suppling material on predefined terms and conditions .
Order Conformation(VA01).
once purchas eorder is released the purchase dept will monitor and follow up for the supply.
Goods Receipt(MIGO).
on arrival of material the warehouse people will receave the material and process for goods receipt.
Invoice Verification(MIRO).
the accounting dept will receave the invoice from yhe vendor and compare with the purchase order and goods receipt note.
on the due date the accounting people will make payments based on terms and conditions.
The dataflow as functional process below are the points:
1) Purchasing Requsition -> sent by inventory dept to purcharsing dept
2) Request for Quotation(RFQ)-> Purchasing Dept shall ask the vendors to give the quotation for the requested materials by inventory.
3) Quotation -> Quotation is sent by vendors to the company
4) Purchase order-> Based on all paramers of a quotation sent by vendors. Vendors are selected from whom the material has to be obtained. The company gives purchase order to the vendor.
5) Good's receipt -> vendors sends the goods to the company with goods receipt
6) Invoice verification -> this done based on good's receipt. this means that the ordered goods have reached or not.
7) Payment -> payment is done based on invoice verification. this is (FI/CO).

Widgets - Moving Next Page automatically....

I have created the Custom Widget using Eclipse, SAP WIDGET Foundation to display the online enquiry, where I am usiing the Table by refreshing the widget connectivity automatically like
eg:-
Flight online status display Board in Airports.
Its working fine as per the requirement.
But problem is , If suppose number of items more automatically vertical scrolling is coming , so users not able to view the next items in the front display, they are doing the scrolling manually to view the next items.
Doing manually scrolling is not possible all the items .
So is it possible to display the more number of items in the next page with certain time interval automatically.
Please let me know.....??????

yes i have done that already as u said, when i do it......
i created a new page (next page) directed first page to next page
on the next page my layout is like below
removed all the templates dragged the main window to the top of the page......
when i check the result, there is an empty line as the first line in the table (2nd page)
and also the footer (again a template) on the first page, which is ticked as ( print after end of main window) is NOT displaying.

We have found something interesting with the new E52 and mfe client, whereas before you can forward and reply to emails and select an address in your company directory, in the new version there is no option in the menu.
Is there an update/patch to fix this or some sort of workaround?

Where I can find firmware 051.014 for e52

I have bought in May 2010 e52 direct by Nokia Online Shop. This phone has firmware 033.002, product code 0596263, lang. set 02.01.
I have seen that already exists firmware 051.014, but software update programm says to me, that no firmware updates are available. Where and when I can get it?
PS. between 033.002 and 051.014 firmwares also exist another ver. 034.001, but software update programm also said, that no any updates are available. why?
PPS. I've already downloaded firmware 051.014, but for Russian region and for another product codes. It has inside also english and german languages, so it's ok for me. Is it possible to install to my phone this firmware?

Same problem here with the same product code. AFAIK, this is a general product code which does not belong to E52-variants by a specific provider.
Therefore it's rather strange that this product code was not included into the last two updates.
I am still stuck to v033.002 with my E52 product code 0596263.

Nokia E52 - where is my contacts?

Hi guys. I have my Nokia E52 for well over a year now and can't say it has given me any problems of note. However, recently, I started using an instant messaging service named WhatsApp. It was working fine in the begininng, but one day while using it, it made the phone switch off, and would never swich back on. I sent it in for repairs and it came back working fully functional.
That lasted all but 1 week, before I noticed that suddenly, all my contacts have disappeared from my phone memory. I can not find a single one. The weird thing is, if somebody calls me who was previously in the contact list from the phone memory, their name appears. So, somehow, it seems to me that the contacts are there, but I just can't access it. I phoned nokia helpdesk, and they asked me to backup --->format--->restore, and that didnt help my cause either. Even if I try to store new contacts to the phone memory.... it foes it successfully, but I just cant pick them up. Can somebldy please advise me on this matter?

I did the following...
a)Made a backup to my pc using Nokia PC Suite
b)formatted the phone(dialed *#7370#)
c)tried to restore the file, but couldnt, because the phone was probably in a "lost" state and nokia pc suite could not pick the phone up.
d) Did a hard reset.
e) phone was visible again
f) restored the file, but was back at square 1.
I am not sure if what you suggesting is the same as what I did above and if ovi suite is anything different from nokia pc suite or if it is the same thing. . Needless to say though, thanks a million for your input thus far. Really appreciate it.

Welcome to the Nokia Forums!
Have you managed to sync your e-mail at any point and only recently stopped or never work to begin with? Also what e-mail provider are you using?
I suggest first of all you should contact the email provider to be sure you have all the correct configuration settings for the e-mail account.
You can also try perform a soft reset *#7780# security code 12345 by default if prompted. This will restart all your phone settings to as they where out of the box, but will not delete any of your data.

Filenames of the Youtube app and where is it place...

Hello!
I want to understand the system, how apps are stored on the e52 and how they are linked with the menu.
e.g. can you tell me, how the files of the Youtube app are called on your phone, and where thoses files are placed?
I can see this app in the program manager and start it via Ovi Store (???), but I cannot see it in the file manager or menu (I searched all folders)
I also see Youtube, if I search my apps with the Application Manager from PC Suite or with Ovi Suite, when I connect my phone with my PC.
Funny thing: Yesterday I installed a "Pipes" from softonic - I downloaded the file to my memory card and installed it - I can see this program in the menu and file manager.
I'm happy about any tipp - this is very disturbing.
I don't want to do a backup of my phone and a deep reset, because last time after this, I had to reinstall many different things - this has been lots of work.

This topic with the invisible Youtube app cannot be solved, because it's a very deep problem - some say, it is a problem of the Youtube app, and I should tell Google, which I will do later.
The handles to solve this problem are on a very deep system level, like explained here:

Most of the important data are hidden and invisible.
As we are all no Nokia or Application developers, we have to use the "normal way":
Saving all private data from phone and memory card - format memory card and do a deep reset with *#7370# (ATTENTION: this kills all apps and settings for apps)
Maybe a backup via PC Suite or Ovi Suite can help saving time with backup of the whole phone - but this is an open question, because it could be, that damaged data are also saved in the backup.

E52 Web Browser only opens the first page

I have connection to internet via my home wlan. E52 can connect to it and when I choose a web page it will open it. But if select a link in a page and try to open that nothing happens. Same thing when I try the preconfigured links for the facebook and youtube. I can open the first page, but I cannot login to the facebook. I have to close the connection and type in directly the page where I want to go. I cannot use any links within the web pages.
Anyone any ideas?

I noticed that Opera gives an error after a while it tries to load the "second" web page, that it has no connection. So obviously the phone disconnects the wlan connection. Is there a way to force the phone to keep the wlan connection open permanently, when the wlan is available? Now it seems that if there is a short break when application does not need the wlan, the phone disconnects the wlan. And for some reason the connection is not established automatically again. But as I see it, the wlan connection should not be disconnected at all.
