E52 unable to reply or create mail for exchange

Hi
When I try to create, reply or forward and e-mail, I get an error, unable to complete the command
I am running newest firmware 022.009
It llike somthing is going not correct configure under "creating mailbox", I have see that "create mailbox" need finish, after ending the nokia e-mail wizard
please help
/Jan

Got the same issue.
It definitely has to do with mailbox folder structure. As when I create new account I can see Inbox, Drafts, Sent mail and Deleted folders. Now if I try to create new mail it is ok, I can do it.
But after initial sync I see only Inbox and Deleted. So, when I try to create new mail or reply, it should be trying to create new draft but there is no place to store it, and error message "Unable to complete command" is displayed.
Also I can see there are 9 items pending for syncronization.
It looks like it can help to modify something in my google account, but no idea what has to be done. Tried show and hide different folders but no effect.
Software is the latest 052.003.C00.01

  • Problem with mail for exchange after update on E72...

    Hi everyone,
I updated Nokia E-mail to ver 3.9 on E72. Now I am facing  a problem with mail for exchange. I have configured gmail on mail for exchange. I recieve a warning that "unable to sync contact administrator if problem persist". It started to pop up just after the update was over and is very frustrating. Even previously i used to recieve mails instantly but now it generally takes half an hour for me to recieve them. I deleted and created mail for exchange several times but to no avail.
Also i am not able to automatically recieve mails other emails which i have configured. every time I have to manually download them everytime.
Can anybody suggest a way out.
    Thanks
    Anil

It could be a problem if you're using your network's connections...
I was on a Pay & Go tariff with o2 some time ago, and needed secure connections for various things, o2 told me they didn't provide secure connections on Pay & Go tariffs...
Could be worth checking with them to make sure it's supported.

  • Calendar Sync Problems with mail for exchange on e...

    Hello!
I upgraded my Nokia e52 to Software version 033.002.216.01 but now I am unable to sync with my mail for exchange Calendar. Settings are correct (in calendar settings Default mailbox is Mail for Exchange and in Email settings Calendar sync is "Yes") and I am still able to sync e-mail, but not calendar items.
Can anyone help me with this issue? Does anyone have the same problem after software upgrade?

I haven't solve the problem yet. Waiting for new firmware, might be it will solve the problem...

  • Mail for exchange problem / N97mini.

Now three months I encounter difficulties with integrated email client of my N97 mini. I create and use only mail for exchange profile, no IMAP no POP3, for reading, writing messages and synchronizing contacts, calendar to-do list with webmail server of my company.
    Exact problem:
     - stop regular synchronizing inbox folder when synch is done once. It is necessary phone to be restarted and then inbox can be updated.
     - stop regular synchronizing subfolders unless phone is restarted and then can be updated once until next restart
     - stop regular synchronizing sent folder, contacts, calendar, to-do list. Phone restart hot helps, it has to be removed mailbox and to be created it again then during initial synch everything going well.
There is no matter if the synchronizing is set to “always on”, “manual” or some interval time.
If phone soft is reinstalled or hard reset is performed then after creating a mailbox the problem is going to be resolved for first 10-15 minutes or sometime up to couple of hours and after that appears again.
In our company we use Nokia E52, N97 mini, E71, E72 but only people with N97 mini faced this problem. (People with E71 use installed Mail for Exchange 3.0, people with E52 and E72 used build-in mail client to create mail for exchange profile like us people with N97 mini)
As I wrote this problem appeared three months ago without any obvious reason. No phone update, no company mail server update.
I will appreciate any suggestion and thank you in advance.

Just for clarification soft is v.30.0.004

  • Unable to reply or create emails on E75

I have set up Mail for Exchange on my E75 and I'm using an O2 SIM.
I'm receiving emails and contacts and calendar have synched beautifully.
However when i try to reply to an email or create a new email I get an error message saying "unable to complete command"
When I try to select create email there's [*] next to it.
When I try to select reply there [1] next to it.
    Does anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks.

Ye, I can tell  you this much:
We tried to remove the user, but not the mailbox, then make the user again and import the mailbox to this user. Didn't work out.
So it is something with the settings of the mailbox and not the user.
We also tried to remove his mailboxes on every computer he have, and set it up again, still no work.
We tried to compare him to another user in the AD, and made a test user with exact same settings as he have, this worked, but we hoped it failed, so we would have something to work with.
I hope you figure it out, and if you do, please post a solution here, so if there will be any trouble regarding this matter in the future we have a solution.
    Sincerely,
    JBR.

  • Mail for Exchange E52

    Hi,
I have an E52. A couple of days ago I configured mail for exchange. I thought it was be right. But after a couple of days, I want to sent an email back. Then there is a problem I get an error massage that this isn't possible.
My agenda and incoming mails works fine but only to sent an email doesn't work.
    Could someone help me?
I am using a gmail account.

I got the same problem but my old E61i is using exchange v3 and no problem.
For my E52 (v051.018), I got the same problem, don't know why?  But, what I did was creating a separate gmail account and @ exchangemail, I set not to sync for email.

  • My E52 lost Mail For Exchange after software updat...

After I updated my E52 software the phone seems to have lost it's mail for exchange client. Setting up webbased email accounts like hotmail is no problem (though through Nokia Messaging), but when when I try to setup my work email it just tell me that the unit does not support any more accounts for workrelated e-mails (I don't have any option to choose mail for exchange).
Before the update I had an option to choose to choose mail for exchange and it would ask me for domain and server and everything and it was no problem.
As mail for exchange is supposed to be integrated in the E52 as part of nokias new emailing software (as far as I can read), I am not able to download and install the mail for exchange client separately (and I have tried by the way, but it refuses to install).
Has anybody experienced similar problems after the software update, and/or do you have any solutions?

The Hungarian support told me, that the new Nokia Messenger supports exchange, but only one email. And most probably the system already stored your email that you used before the upgrade. With the upgrade the datas were deleted, and you cannot recall it, or edit it from the web interface (email.nokia.com) but still the system thinks that you already have one (even if I want to use the same one). Therefore you cannot open a new one. The support promised me to delete it maually with system administrators and then I would be free to use it again.
Try this with your local support, perhaps that is the truth.

  • E52: Mail for Exchange complains about low memory

    Hello,
we've just gotten two Nokia E52 phones for our company to use as mobile MS Exchange clients.
We've been using the E51 for the past two years without any major problems.
After just one day of use however, we've already run into memory problems with both E52s.
Mail for Exchange constantly complains that the internal memory is full and subsequently stops synchronizing with out Exchange 2010 server.
According to the File manager, there are indeed only about 2 MB of internal storage left.
Not that 60 MB internal storage are anything to write home about...but I didn't expect to run out of memory so quickly.
Both phones are also equipped with an internal 4 GB miniSDHC card. Is it possible to let MFE use the SDHC card as it's primary storage?
Is there anything else I could try?
Both phones are running the latest firmware 051.018.
    Thanks in advance!

You need to make Exchange save the messages onto the memory card instead of the built-in memory. Go to HomeMenu:Messaging. Then select Optionsther:MemoryInUse and select MemoryCard. Now all of your messages will be stored on the memory card instead of built-in memory.

  • No email body in mail for exchange? Nokia E52

On my Nokia E52 i have setup mail for exchange access to gmail, but all it seems to download is the header with who its from and the subject? There isnt any mention of the email body/message at all?
My contacts and calendar all sync properly.
Am i missing something?  On my ipod touch it downloads the messages using the exact same account

Curious issue, on the 22nd January 2010, I also got a system message stating ‘Mail for Exchange – Your account does not have permission to synchronise with your current settings.'  then a further message saying that the phone required a locking password etc.  This resulted in the phone being locked before it could be opened.
I'm sure nothing changed on the local mail servers, so I wonder what has changed on the Mail For Excange settings?

  • Create Multi profile in mail for exchange

I have installed my corporate mail account on mail for exchange, now i need
to use Gmail also on mail for exchange as i will use it to sync with Google calendaris it possible to create multi profile on mail for exchange or not
if not, is there is any possibility to sync the Google calendar on my mobile

as far as I know it is not possible to put Mfe behind a password.
what you can do is the secure your phone whit a pincode, that way all of it is secure

  • S60 & Mail for Exchange / Reply-To Field

Greetings all. This will be my first post to the forums so if there's a more appropriate place for this message please feel free to redirect me.
The short version is this: Based on recent experience it looks like Nokia's Mail for Exchange client isn't honoring the "Reply-To" envelope header field. When one replies to a message with this field set, it is ignored and the message is instead directed to the "From" address. I'm fairly certain that isn't compliant with RFC822 (section 4.4.4).
    Here's some context:
We use an email- and web-based product called Request Tracker (RT) for managing our technical support interaction with customers. When RT receives a new ticket it alerts subscribed users (support technicians) by sending an email. The email RT sends has its "From" address set to the requestor's address--the person who opened the ticket originally. However, it sets the "Reply-To" field to the primary support address. That's done intentionally so RT can centrally record all correspondence with customers.
I checked the headers with a Windows-based mail client (Outlook), and the Reply-To field is correctly set. Similarly, when I reply to the message via Outlook, the destination address is correctly set to the Reply-To address. However, this is not happening when Mail for Exchange users reply to RT's messages.
Has anyone had similar experiences with Mail for Exchange? Is there a configuration option somewhere which might control this behavior?
Thanks for any guidance you can provide.
    Regards,
    Damon

  • E52 Mail For Exchange Stopped Syncing

I have an E52 (one week old).  Mail For Exchange was syncing well for mail, contacts and calendar with an Exchange Server 2007.  Sync over port 443 usual access point... No change on server.
Today my phone has stopped syncing. My admin log.txt files looked OK until yesterday afternoon then filled up with text just showing the settings. REstarted the phone, no luck and no additions to the admin logs...
How do I do a full resync??
Just done a hard reset and reset up the mail for exchange and everything syncs OK.. I see there is another post on the same subject.  When is Nokia going to look at this??

E52: 034.001, note the same issue I found on E75

  • Mail for Exchange on E52

After getting back my E52 from warrantial service Mail for Exchange is missing from the device. The official answer was they always have to upload the existing latest sw and unfortunately it doesn't contain MfE so I have to wait either for the even newer version or until MfE will be on 'http://europe.nokia.com/get-support-and-software/download-software/mail-for-exchange/compatibility-a...'.
Is someone struggling with the same problem and got more information about that?
My other disappointment is the thin plastic frame: it's wobbling and rasping downside, around the buttons, even after warrantial replace!
If you can give me info about any of these subjects, please don't hesitate to do it!
    Many thanks in advance,
    Balazs

For some reasson my phone also stopped syncing.
I found out, that the sync settings was reset. I think it happened during a sync where no connection was available.
I solved the issue by updating firmware
reentering "Sync What" og "Sync When"
Remender to go in to advanced settings and choose connection (Internet or wap)
    Have fun

  • E52 Mail for Exchange with Exchange 2010

I need to sync all the mobile phone in my organization with an Exchange 2010 server.
We have some different phone models like E90, N82, N95 that works fine with some different Mail For Exchange version.
But the E52 models can't works in syncronization and I can't upgrade the MfE version inside it.
Exchange server logs write this error: "DeviceNotProvisioned_Budget" Anyone know what this mean?
    Thanks
    Davide

    Noted your post.
I have an E52 but could not get the MfE to work.
I have crossed checked the authentication settings on another Nokia E71 and this word fine but for some reason the E52 will not work. I will try the Roadsync but it seems a lttle strange that a 3rd party prodcut is needed on a new phone when Nokia should solve this. I have sent my phone off to our IT dept for them tio assess the issue. My view for what its worth is its an SSL issue, we use MfE 2003 with SP2 and I think this maybe the issue.
