E6-00 connection to wireless network

Question

I have a new E6-00 (Belle) that I use on my wireless network at home. I asked our IT boffins to connect it to the work wi-fi connection but it just will not connect. The work security is WPA-Personal/TKIP. I tried the same security setting on my home wireless network and it connected OK. Does anyomne have any ideas?

Router.
PB G4 Airport Extreme and MacBook Intel Core 2 Duo
Airport Extreme. Till yesterday, both laptops
reconnected to the wireless router, automatically,
upon waking up from Sleep. Now the MacBook does not,
and I have to manually seek the connection to the
router and enter the WPA/PSK password, although the
password is saved in Keychain Access. Whereas the G4
reconnects transparently. I have set the same
parameters in Keychain Access in both laptops. This
didn't help. Where, in the MacBook, should I seek
settings that would re-establish the previous
situation: MacBook awaking from Sleep, and
reconnecting to the wireless router, same as the G4
does? Thanks.
Hello, I dont' know if this works in your case, but I recently experienced the same problem with my wireless , and after a whole lot of research and checking with Apple the solution was described in this article: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=304482.
