E6 and CK-600.

Ladies and gentlemen,
I have a Nokia E6-00 and CK-600 kit in my car. When communicating with the CK-600, notice that the screen is the same for the control of changing songs, and sometimes I get no control to turn off and on phone calls.
I know the kit CK-600 is working correctly because my wife has one N8 that works correctly when communicating with the kit.
Does anyone know if there is any software upgrade for kit CK-600 or someone have the same problem?
Thank you for attention.

Dear friends,
I'd like to share the status concerning my CK-600 bluetooth problem:
Upon my reclamation the main unit HF-23 was replaced by a new one. Since then there is no problem with the bluetooth connection with my Nokia C6-00, everything functions like expected.
But another problem occured:
In the case the phone is in the cradle located on the dashboard of the car where the phone is powered, all is OK. But when the phone is sitting in his case on my pants belt, the incoming or outgoing call suddenly ends after a minute. First I cannot hear the voice, then after cca 10 sec the display of the car kit stops showing the information about the call. The bluetooth connection with the phone remains, I can use other features, the phone book sync with the car kit funcions as well. As mentioned there is no problem with calls when the phone is sitting in the powered cradle.
Is it possible that the phone loses the GSM-signal during the call via car kit when the phone is not powered?
Does anybody have the same problem? Can anybody help?
cheers
Ludo

  • Adf uix and 800*600 resolution

    We need to develop an application with adf uix and 800*600 resolution.
    It seems that uix rendering is not so fine with 800*600 resolution.
    What is the suggested workaround to this problem?
    Do we need to customize the look and feel (and what customization steps do we need to perform) or what else?
    Thanks in advance, Mauro

    800*600 did work until for a couple of days ago when it did start saying "sync. out of area"
    Its a siemens something screen... 5 years old...
    i did look at the cable to the screen one "pigg" of the 15 "piggs" are missing.. could it be some problem there... all other res. are working without a problem..
    the screen should work at 800*600 at 100hz

  • Vista 64-bit and Treo 600 Hotsync solution that works!

    I too searched many, many forums and sites for a solution to this problem. And I have found it.
    I have an HP dv9260 laptop with Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit and Office Pro 2007, which I bought in June this year. And I have been unable to sync my Treo 600 to it - until now. (I had even resorted to syncing to my older Toshiba Tablet PC (WinXP Pro, Office Pro 2003) via standard USB sync cable, connecting the Tablet to the new HP with a Belkin Easy Transfer cable, exporting my updated Contacts, Calendar, and InfoSafe records to .vcf, .ics, and .txt files, then transferring between the HP and Tablet, and then importing them into the appropriate app - Whew! man what a pain.
    Now I have found a far more elegant and simple method. I found an Infrared USB 2.0 adaptor (dongle) at the Chunwai_1996 store on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-USB-2-0-IRDA-ADAPER-4Mbps-SUPPORT-VISTA_W0QQitemZ110164766509QQcmdZViewItem) for $8.33 USD + $5.67 USD S&H (total $14.00 even) (I believe that the price is now $12.49 USD + $5.67 S&H.) , which said it supported and supplied drivers for 64-bit Vista. It took a little over two weeks to receive the device from Hong Kong (received yesterday, 08-31-2007).
    I checked the mini CD that shipped with it but found no Vista drivers. So I just plugged it into a USB port on the laptop. Vista immediately recognized the dongle and installed generic Vista 64-bit drivers from Microsoft. I tested the unit by placing the Treo near it. The unit recognized the Treo as a legitimate device! Next, I followed the directions I found in another thread that had been successful with USB 2.0, Vista 32-bit drivers, and the Treo 600, with one slight modification. Here is a repost from the Vista-Help.ca blog by Kerry Brown, verbatim except for a couple of modifications and few additional steps.

    Palm Treo 600 with Vista and Office 2007
    I've had a lot of people ask about how I got my Treo 600 phone to sync with Outlook 2007 in Vista so I thought I'd write up the procedure. Hopefully Palm will have new Vista compatible software soon but in the meantime here's how I got it working on two computers so far. First you have to use Vista x86. I couldn't get it to work with Vista x64. If you've already tried to get it working then you have to clean up all the leftover stuff before continuing.
    1. Uninstall Palm Desktop
    2. Insert the CD that came with the Treo but don't let it autorun.
    3. Navigate to the correct language folder on the Treo CD and right click on setup.exe
    4. Set the compatibilty for XP SP2 and Run as administrator.
    5. Run setup.exe
    6. During the install the initial sync may fail. Just tell the installation to continue.
    7. If you want to sync with Outlook make sure you pick this option during the install
    8. Once it's finished close the Hotsync System Tray application.
    9. In Windows Explorer go to the Palmone folder in Program Files.
    10. Right click hotsync.exe and set it to run in administrator mode with XP SP2 compatibility.
    11. Do the the same for palm.exe.
    12. Start the Palm Desktop and change the Hotsync settings to manual start.
    -and- 12a. ******* Check the Infrared option to make it active and available *******
    13. Exit Palm Desktop and reboot.
    You should now be able to sync the Treo 600 with Outlook 2007 or Palm Desktop. You will have to manually start the Hotsync application and deal with a uac prompt because it is set to run in administrator mode. The sync only works when Outlook is not running. You also have to sync twice. The first time you will get errors about the default folders for Outlook. Ignore the errors and press the sync button again. If it still doesn't work reboot and try it again. Good luck. Let me know if you find an easier procedure.
    =====================================================
    After rebooting the laptop, I performed the following additional steps:
    A. Manually started the Hotsync app (you can put it in the Startup folder to auto load at Startup).
    B. Set the Custom options to "Desktop overrides Handheld" for Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, and Notes - this may help avoid duplicates from the first Hotsync. Also, this is just a temporary override from the default setting "Synchronize the files" for each selection.
    C. Selected Hotsync on the Treo and enabled the Infrared option.
    D. Pressed the Hotsync 'button' on the Treo and placed it pointing at the Infrared dongle.
    The Hotsync ran to completion without errors! Though it did take a good deal longer since it only runs at 115.2 kbps vs. the 480 Mbps of USB 2.0, I am happy.
    Hope this helps others with Vista 64-bit systems and Palm OS handhelds.
    Cheers.
    -Robert

  • DBMS_SQL.BIND_VARIABLE with nested table and ORA-600

    Hello, I'm experimenting a little with pl/sql and I was trying to do some dynamic SQL using DBMS_SQL, but I'm having a problem when binding a variable that is a neste table(got no problems in the same example if I bind with a varchar2 variable).
    Here is a reduction of the problem:
    DECLARE
         TYPE CENA_TYPE IS TABLE OF VARCHAR2(30);
         CENA CENA_TYPE;
         L_UPDATE_STMT VARCHAR2(2000);
         UPDATE_CURSOR INTEGER:=DBMS_SQL.OPEN_CURSOR;
         RES INTEGER;
    BEGIN
         CENA:=CENA_TYPE('HELLO');
         L_UPDATE_STMT:= 'BEGIN '
                             ||'DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE(:CENA(1));'
                             ||'END;';
         DBMS_SQL.PARSE(UPDATE_CURSOR, L_UPDATE_STMT ,DBMS_SQL.NATIVE);
         DBMS_SQL.BIND_VARIABLE(UPDATE_CURSOR,':CENA',CENA);
         RES:=DBMS_SQL.EXECUTE(UPDATE_CURSOR);
         DBMS_SQL.CLOSE_CURSOR(UPDATE_CURSOR);
    END;
    /What am I doing wrong??
    Thanks

    Any physical or liquid damage to the iPhone?
    First try a reset:
    - hold the home button and sleep/wake button down at the same time
    - the iPhonw qill turn off(keep holding) then as soon as you see the Apple logo appear release both buttons
    If the issue remains then try plugging it into a PC/Mac with iTunes and see if it will be recognised. If it is recognised then back it up and then restore to factory settings. If all steps fail then [book an appointment at an Apple Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

  • I can not wake the Lion and can not see the Snow Leopard

    Hello,
    I have a (White) 2007 MacBook, with a new 640 GB HD.
    It has 2 partitions: a 40 GB running Snow Leopard ( I am a teacher and have no time - and desire - to substitute my AppleWorks DBs  until this year ends) and a 600 GB running Lion.
    I have an AIM mail account but I can´t use Mail, because I never know if the message was sended or not; AOL said that my configurations are right and that the problem is with their servers, but they not returned the solution.
    So, yesterday I was answering an e-mail message in my journaling application, using Journler 2.6 for Lion. I copied an word from the message I got and pasted in my reply. I highlighted the word to change the font to Georgia.
    Then, something strange happened: the word Georgia became attached to that arrow that I use to click to activate anything. Nothing was responding. I had to Force Quit the Journler.app and all the other apps that were in the background.  Even the OS.
    1) When I started the MacBook again, obviously came the last partition used: Lion. It showed the 2 accounts for that partition, i.e. the Administrator account and mine. I clicked on mine and nothing happened, I tried the Administrator account and nothing happened.
    2) I inserted the disc I burned with the Lion OS, holding the C key: the MacBook rejected; I inserted the disc of Snow Leopard that I bought from Apple: it was rejected either.
    3) I tried to access the MacBook through a Cube running Tiger. I saw both partitions but I could not do what I intended to, that is, change the startup disk to Snow Leopard.
    4) I returned to the MacBook and I got a surprise: I could log in my account. But I only could see the apps in the dock, I was unable to open any of them.
    5) I tried several other times yesterday and today with no success.
    Of course that I want my Lion back; but now the more important to me is to get my MacBook running  my  Snow Leopard account. I register all the data of my students - presences, absences and grades - directly on an AppleWorks DB file.
    So, the big question is: how do I change the startup disk to Snow Leopard?.
    My resources are: 1 iMac 800 MHz running Tiger; 1 Cube 450 MHz running Tiger; 1 FireWire cable (to access the MacBook in the Target Mode, which I will try next); 1 iPhone 3G and a never used 8 GB pen drive. There is a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard, that is not at home now but eventually could come today, I am not counting on this. It was bought in september of 2009 and I am not sure if it has a FireWire port.
    I thank you for any help.
    Best regards,
    Jorge Lucas ( the guy from Rio Grande do Sul)

    I am using mobilme now, it's working good.
    No doubt Icloud is better and a mindless method.
    My only problem is that I won't be able to use Icloud with mine 2 computers.
    1 is update with Lion, the onther one is with SL,  cause it's a CORE DUAL (no update possible!).
    So that's my problem, buying a new one or never be able to synchronize after june 2012.....

  • In 26.0, how do I put Download, Bookmarks, History, and Tags into separate windows? I have multi-monitor system and place these different windows . . .

    Hello,
    I recently, decided to upgrade from 19.0b to the current (26.0) version, as "Tab Utilities" now supports 26, but am finding one of the visual changes counter productive. My two workstations have multiple monitors. One has 2 monitors (2560x1600) and the other one has 4 monitors (2560x1600). On both workstations, I'll place the various Firefox informational windows off the "main monitor" (the one directly in front of me). This way they're available to me at a glance.
    (Side note: I refer to my monitors, as 2L, 1 2R and the 4th as "auxiliary.") The one thing I miss most is being able size these Firefox windows independently and in different positions.
    I mean I'm used to seeing "Download" on monitor 2R on the right side (1/8 of screen) behind Microsoft Process Explorer's System Information. While the History will be on monitor 2L on the right side at 1/4 of the screen). I'm used to glancing out my right eye at the downloads and when needing something from the past, it's right next to the main monitor #1. This way I can access history quickly.
    I can see why a developer (with one monitor say 1920 x 1080) would love seeing one window, but why can't Firefox support both single and multiple monitor users at the same?
    Anyway, is there a way to get 26.0 to place at least "Download" and "History" in separate sizable windows?
    (I'm not jumping up and down to go back to 19.0b or to try 25, but would like to stay current.)

    Hello,
    Thank you for your very quick reply. Before I read your reply completely, let me see if I can answer your first concern.
    > Maybe I am missing your point.
    Maybe I'm not making the point properly. Honestly, I never explained the issue from how it is directly affecting me.
    OK, let's do a real world example of what I'm seeing on my two monitor system. I'll first describe what I experienced with 19.0b and earlier, which is IMHO how it should work in 26 and beyond ('''''as an option'''''). Next, I'll review what I'm seeing in 26.0. Hopefully this will help you understand what changed, from a practical perspective.
    In 19.0b (and how I like working) for a multiple monitor system:
    On the main monitor, I'm running Firefox. It is 1920 x 1080 and is in the lower right hand corner.
    On the the monitor to my right (2R), I have the Download Manager list of downloading and downloaded file. It is in the upper right hand corner and takes up about 300 x 1500 pixels.
    For a two monitor system, I have the History List running beside Firefox in the lower right hand corner and it is 600 x 1080.
    For a three (plus) monitor system, I have the History List running on my left (2L) monitor. It is in the lower right hand corner and is 600 x 1080 pixels big.
    For 26.0: I'm seeing the following:
    On the main monitor, I'm running Firefox. It is 1920 x 1080 and is in the lower right hand corner. (This is the SAME as with 19.0b.)
    When I start the Download Manager and have it set up as I do for 19.0b, it looks OK. It is on monitor 2R and is 450 x 1500 pixels (because of the new navigation side bar).
    '''''The problem STARTS NOW (when I start the History List).'''''
    When starting the History List, it replaces the Download Manger on the 2R monitor in the 450 x 1500 pixel window. This doesn't work for me because:
    1) It is too far away to see. (NOTE: I put it on the 2L monitor in the lower right hand corner. so I can see it easier for the 3+ monitor. In the case of the 2 monitor, I put it beside Firefox again to see it easier.)
    Some might ask, but the Download Manager is on the 2R and right side, why can't the History List be there too? Good question, and I can only reply saying:
    1) Personal choice.
    2) The Download Manager is NOT as busy as the History List and I find it easy to read.
    3) The History List is a lot busier and the font size looks to be smaller (might be the same, but it looks smaller to my eyes). I need it closer to me / Firefox.
    What I'm saying is this . . . The Download Manager and History List have <ul>''valid reasons to be visible to the user at the same time''.</ul> They also need to be independent of one another for (at least) size and location.
    Combining them together is OK for some people, but NOT for everyone. Please make it an option to combine (as in 26) and separate (25 and earlier).
    I'm not sure this is the best way to put it, but here goes. Allow users to collapse or expand these various lists by using multiple windows. One window is the collapse view and multiple independent windows is the expand view.
    I'll read and comment on the rest of your reply, soon. Thanks for allowing me hopefully to explain my point in a better manner. :-)

  • SLES 10 SP3 Crash and reboot

    I'm using SLES 10 SP3 for all my transaction servers and database servers. This Morning (7.40 West Indonesian Time) I found my database server just restarted (from /var/log/messages).
    I'm confused, because kernel crash message in /var/log/messages related to NFS and Samba.

    These forums are for Novell's Open Enterprise Server (OES) product which

    If you are using "regular" SLES then you should repost in one of SUSE's

  • Sharepoint -Creating document libraries at run time and add and delete permission at runtime--taking too much time in C#(SOM)

    Hi,
    I am creating a batch job in C# and my requirement is as follows.
    My Requirement is to create multiple document libraries and after breaking inheritance  I remove all the groups which that library inherits and add some groups which are created for that library.Initially when libraries are less the creation
    of library is good but once it gets increased ,system takes lot of time.I will have to create around 2000 libraries and almost 600-700 groups.
    Q.1 ) What would be my approach?
    Q.2) Do we have powershell command which can break inheritance and delete all the default groups in a one go (without looping) of a library?
    Please suggests.

    Hi,
    It is recommended to create timer job for the time consuming job when in SharePoint environment.
    About creating timer job:

    If you want to do it via PowerShell, the links below would be helpful.

  • ITunes 11.3 some things add to library and some don't

    I have iTunes 11.3.1 (2) (64 bit) and a Mackbook Pro 13" (early 2011 model) OS X 10.9.4. I moved my music, audiobooks, movies, podcasts, etc to a home server (Seagate Central) and created a new library. I was able to add my ring tones to iTunes as well as my audiobooks and about 600 of my songs. Some songs add and some don't. Doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason. I've imported m4a, mp3, m4p. The items that have imported and am trying to import come from the same iTunes Media/Music folder. I've tried adding both by folder and by individual file. I've also right-clicked a song and selected to open in iTunes and nada. I've also checked the Recently Added playlist and nothing is there as well. These same songs played when they were stored on my Macbook. I don't get it. I'll see a millisecond flash of the album but nothing happens. The only common factors I can see is that if it will let me play it in the finder it will let me add to iTunes. Also, it seems that 'older' stuff I added from CD from my older iPod days doesn't add. For kicks, I tried to copy and paste an album back to my MBP and it says I don't have permission but that happens with both ones that show up in the program and ones that don't. I'm the admin on both my laptop and the server. Grr. HELP!
    PS: When I use Seagate's remote site I can listen to songs that won't play in my Finder or add.

    I haven't seen this issue before but I have seen lots of posts here about issues with using iTunes with NAS.  General rule of thumb is iTunes is not guaranteed to play well with NAS.  For some it does, for others not.
    My understanding is NAS uses its own software to interface with the computer's software.  This could well have been designed with Windows in mind and the drive you are using may be formatted NTFS for Windows and iTunes is having to trust the software 100% for interfacing.  Perhaps your files have illegal characters for Windows naming convention.
    Remember the game where people sit in a long row and whisper a message from one end to the other, then compare the results which almost invariably have been garbled in transmission? That's iTunes and your files over NAS.
    Maybe some of this is iTunes fault but if you take this issue to an Apple Store I bet they will ask you why you aren't using a plain external hard drive.  If you use third party hardware then it is up to the vendor (who likely sells 95% to PC users) to ensure the interface works.

  • 1800 Photos on iPhone. Missing Photos During Copying from DCIM or Import Photos to PC only finds 1200. How to copy the other 600 photos from iPhone to PC?

    When I go to Settings > About -- I see there are 1800+ photos on my iPhone.
    When I try to copy the entire DCIM folder using Windows Explorer, or "Import Photos" when plugging in via USB, it only copies 1200 photos.
    I can see the photos on my iPhone, yet its not copying them all. I'd hate to have to manually find and copy 600 photos.
    Why am I not able to copy all the 1800 photos to my PC?
    Someone please help! thank you!

    First, reset your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the reset is complete, the Home screen will display again.
    Then open iPhoto and click on Preferences>General, and make sure that the option "Connecting Camera Opens" has iPhoto selected. If it does not, select iPhoto.
    Then try hooking up your device again. It should launch iPhoto automatically at that point and start the import.
    Post back if that doesn't work.
    Cheers,

  • Can we start a relatively elementary thread about the quality level of a saved .jpg file and its relation to camera resolution settings, if any?

    My daughter has thousands of photos shot with a maximum resolution setting on her camera, each one occupying an approximately 4 MB file and apparently capable of generating a quality 32x48 print -- clearly a case of overkill.  I think she's doing it because she thinks it will maximize print quality.  I know it's exhausting our disk space.
    In PSE9, I've taken a sample .jpg file (4 MB) and saved it as three .jpg files: at maximum quality (5.2 MB), 50% quality (934 KB), and minimum quality (359 KB).  Note that the minimum quality file represents a 90% reduction in disk space! Then for each of these four sizes, I printed it on letter-size plain paper, and again on 4x6 photo paper.  They looked identical to me.  I asked her to compare them (she did not know which photos had which quality) and with her calibrated eyeballs she thought that the minimum quality was a bit more "pixellated".
    I successfully experimented with the editor's "Process Multiple Files" to resize the photos and I am pleased with its performance on my iMac -- less than seven minutes to convert 197 photos.  As a further test,  I ran 5 photos four times: low-quality and high quality, each at 300 dpi and 600 dpi.  Again I saw no apparent difference between 300 dpi low and high quality on letter-size plain paper, but I was taken aback to see the 600 dpi print as approx. 4x6 in the center of the letter-size paper.  I took another look at the four of them in the PSE workplace, and sure enough, the 300 dpi files showed up approximately letter-sized and the 600 dpi files showed up as approximately 4x6.
    Obviously I'm dealing with apples and oranges here, and this is why I'd like to see some elementary-level conversation on this subject.

    Thanks for the hints, Lundberg. Google led to ImageJ. Rather difficult to understand what it does, but fun to play around with. Further reading led me to this statement:
    Another sinusoidal transform (i.e. transform with sinusoidal base functions) related to the DFT is the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT).
    And since jpeg is based on the DCT I thought: simply compressing an image at jpeg and looking at the file size will probably give info re the sharpness of the image. At maximum jpeg setting, there was a significant reduction in file size for a particular image when I applied a Gaussian Blur. So all I have to do is work out how to relate the jpeg file size to the minimum acceptable resolution.
    Anyway, thanks for the suggestion.
