E6 belle call screeen problem and call log proble...

When making / receiving a call, I can only see part of the name (10 characters), if it is longer. Ideally, to see not only the name / surname as a whole, but also to other fields if they are (eg a company), for business is essential. Picture when I disconnected the call but did not help. Another problem: The Call Log contains only the last 20 , even if the settings of a month's worth.

That's already by default. If the name of the contact is exceeding 16 characters, it will be cut off on the screen once you call/receive a call from the said contact. Also, the device can only show the name of the contact when receiving/making a call. Including its other information (eg company) is beyond the support of your device.
With regard to the Call logs, that is unusual. try to perform a soft reset by dialing *#7780#. It should fix the problem.

My iPhone 4 has been giving me problems via the earpiece it seems. When I make calls, it starts crackling until I hit the earpiece area till the sound is gone. But when its clear, I can hear the person over the phone but the person can't hear me. I have to hit it a few more times on the earpiece to actually get them to hear me. My mic works fine as sending voice messages are no problems. Anyone else going through this problem and had a solution to this (besides buying a new iPhone - Still waiting for iPhone 5s to be in stock) Hoping for some help on this. Thank you.

I had major issues with the iPhone 4s battery, however it’s resolved.
The tech who set the phone up at the Apple store did so with little training.
if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.

RFC call having problem while calling from webdynpro

I am facing a strange problem .In my webdynpro i have a RFC function module . the structure is like this.
Loop.
<GET current system>.
TRY.
call <RFC FUNCTION MODULE> DESTInation <own system> .
ENDTRY.
ENDLoop
With in the Function module we have created a BDC seesion.
Here the loop is running for 10 times .for the first time it is the rfc call is perfect and a session is created in sm35.
For the second loop run the system is going to hang.and when i checked sm35 the next day 1 session is created (for the second loop)
Like this the session are created in different days .And the session created times are like00:00:04,00:00:08 etc.
I have checked if any hold time is there for the session but there is noting like this .
And i digged more and checked in SM50 there the call is running in background and it is connected some other system though i have given the target system as own system.
please advice me about this and how to find the root cause for this.

Video call freeze problem save call logs?

with a spesific contact whenever we talk on 1-1 video call or he is hosting a group call there will be random occasions that it will freeze and it won't recover and eventually fail.
we are both using the latest 7.0.85.102
my pc: win 8.1 32bit
his pc: win 7 sp1 64bit
(both fully updated)
is there a way to monitor/save call logs on both sides (mine and his) so you can investigate the issue further?

i suggest go to a nokia careline center near you and tell them your problem about your phone. im sure they can help you. or if you know the store where your phone was bought from, try to go there and ask if they can check your phone since most phone stores have warranty for products that they sell.

Signal problems and calling AppleCare-

I've noticed that a lot of people who have the infamous iPhone 4 "Death Grip"—lost signal and so on—ask questions online instead of calling Apple support for help. I've noticed that the more people resist the urge to call Apple support, the more Apple seems to be in the dark about a problem.
Just out of curiosity, how many of you have called AppleCare about your reception problems?

E52 latest firware v54 problems and chnage log

i updated my firmware last week from OTA method (with my EDGE connection in 30 mints, and new firmware version file siez was 8 MB)
Phone correctly updated and still working fine but i found a bug last night when i was trying to use front camera with 2x zoom mode for capturing snaps.
Problem:
when capture snap with front cam with 2x zoom the picture will not actuly captured in the same position, means cam itself chnage direction to 75% right side when u click the camera button even u hold mobile till capture snap displayed.
when i was using old firmware version it didnt happen.
Whats new i feel in new v54:
nothing special noticable in new version , just added some services infact useless services in ovi related online syncing ..etc
Recomend you dont update version unless get conformation from other users about Front camera issue.

This happens with or without zoom. The camera flips the image.
As the front camera does not have optical zoom and the image gets flipped, it seems that the image has moved off the screen... because the effect gets multiplied due to digital zoom.

You will find this feature in digital cameras too, as an option. I cannot seem to remember what it is called.

Zen Nano Plus - Connection Problems and Firmware Upgrade probl

Like many others posting on this forum, for a while I had problems trying to get my GB Zen Nano Plus to be recognized by the .0.03 Firmware Update software.
I eventually got it by doing this:
While the Firmware Update software was "Searching" for a device, I kept on unplugging and plugging in the Zen Nano Plus from the USB cable while holding down the Play button, unti it "caught". I tried this since I noticed it would initially see the unit saying "A device has been detected in recovery mode...", but then throw the unit into "non-recovery" mode and hence force the Firmware Update software to keep on searching.
Anyhoo, after it did finally "catch" it (after about 0 times unplugging/plugging while holding the Play button down), it showed my firmware as .03.02, and so I did the upgrade to .0.03. The upgrade said "Complete". I then take the unit off of USB, and put my battery back in. and. uhm. well. Now it won't turn on at all. *sigh*
So there I go again in the "unplug-plug" loop on trying to get the older .03.02. Finally caught after about 30 times (yes my hands are tired). And after downgrading to .03.02, putting the battery back in, the unit turns on fine.. WHEW.
So, beware to everyone. Not sure if I'd trust the .0.03 Firmware. Doesnt seem to work on my Zen Nano Plus, and I JUST bought the thing from Circuit City about a week ago.
And for those of you having problems getting the Firmware Upgrade to work.. try my (tiring) method.
I tried this on my Dell D600 laptop (actually used the USB ports on the docking station).

Verizon Cloud - texts and call log

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and an HTC One. I can back up photos, videos, contacts and other documents onto Verizon Cloud, but I don't see my texts or call log. Are these phones not compatible with the cloud for texts and calls?

Text and call logs do not have 'views' like photos, videos and music, it is a backup & restore only function. You could try restoring them if you want to see them using the Restore function under tools but that will download it to your device again, most likely putting back some calls/text messages you have deleted so you would have to delete again.
If it is saying it backed up that many calls/txts, you probably won't know for sure until you try to restore it to a phone (new or current).

Random call to 911 and other issues

(Yes, mods I did search the boards for this issue and I didn't see it. Most people want to know how to call 911. I want to know how to stop my phone from doing it by itself!)
Hello, I'm a brand new Verizon customer and was so excited to switch carriers and pick up a new smart phone!
Now I'm not so excited to be a verizon customer with a new smart phone.
Last night I went to use my Samsung charge and of course, it was locked up (again). All the icons were inoperable and the screen was frozen. So, for at least the 5th time of the day, I had to remove and replace the battery and wait for the phone to reboot.
Within a few minutes, I received a call from a number I didn't recognize and the man on the other end identified himself as a county sheriff. He said they received a 911 hang up and it came from my number! I was so confused because I'd done no such thing. He said it was the departments policy to followup and make sure I was okay. I tried to assure him that I was okay, that my phone had been sitting on the table and I had NOT called 911. He then insisted that I give him my address so he could come over to make sure I was okay. Then I got scared....Really really scared since my husband was not home and I was alone and the call seemed so bizarre. I refused to give him any more information, told him I didn't believe him and hung up. I checked my call log and it didn't show any call to 911.
I was freaked out, so I called my city's non emergency police line and and city officer called me back. I told him what happened and he decided to call the number and call me back. A few minutes later he did.
It turns out that it really WAS a county sheriff and apparently my phone had made a random call to 911 and pinged a tower on the other end of the valley!
I've learned to live with pulling and replacing the battery multiple times per day. I've learned to live with the lack of battery life. I've learned to live with not having workable bluetooth.
After owning this phone for about 4 months, I already hated it for all the glitches and issues it has but now I am very very very alarmed that my phone makes random calls to 911 and hangs up !! You can be issued a citation and fined ! This I will not live with!!
Verizon, is this the phone causing this? Is it something in your network? How do I stop this from happening again?? This was extremely stressful for me and I can't have it continue to happen!

I can definitely understand your frustration regarding the scenario with the sheriff's office contacting you about a 911 call! I have completed some troubleshooting with the Charge, as I use this device myself. With this phone, if you create an additional lock with either a passcode or a pattern that has to be entered, there is a button on the bottom of the phone that says "Emergency Call." If this button is pressed, a 911 call, or any number that has been entered as the emergency number, is able to be dialed.
I see that you mentioned that you were in the middle of resetting the device because the screen was frozen. Do you recall if the screen was frozen on the lock screen when this happened? If so, you may have inadvertently pressed the button for the emergency call.
If you do not have a lock pattern or a pin code set up for the device, the standard lock (where you connect the puzzle piece) is the default. This screen does not have an option for an emergency call. If you have the additional lock screen set up on the device, you could remove it and set up a different number for the emergency call.
You also have the option of downloading a free application from the Android Market called "ICE," or "In Case of Emergency." You can set up this application with your own personal preferences. Press the Market icon and use ICE as a keyword search.
Below I have provided the steps on how to remove the lock code/pattern for you, if needed.
Removing the lock code/pattern:
Press "Applications" icon from main screen
Press "Settings"
Press "Location & Security"
Press "Change Screen Lock"
Confirm your current unlock code or pattern by entering it
Press "None"
To set up an emergency call, you can simply program the number as a contact, and then save the number as a speed dial.
Assigning Speed Dials
1. From the Home screen, touch Contacts.
2. Press the Menu Key, then touch More-> Speed dial.
3. A list of speed dials displays.Touch a speed dial, then touch a contact to assign the contact to the speed dial.
Please let us know if you are still having issues with your phone locking up and having to re-boot it by removing the battery. Do you notice any pattern about when this happens? Are you performing any specific function when the screen freezes?
Additionally, I want to clarify that any calls to 911 are not listed in your call records online or on your bill due to the fact that these calls are free. Your statement only shows billable calls, so this is the reason you do not see the call in the call log.

before we go any further into your problem, here is an important thing to know:
The method DISPATCH_INPUT is not to be overwritten - it's purpose is to just get called within DO_REQUEST of your main controller, such as to have all input values passed on to the subcontrollers.
It also says so in the method implementation of DISPATCH_INPUT in CL_BSP_CONTROLLER2:
* ...
This method should normally not be overwritten, besides the handling must be changed
...
Also, as I saw you posting somewhere else that you are another user/person - please do not use multiple accounts. You can always ask the SDN staff to solve problems with your accounts (if you can't use your first anymore), but creating a new one is not the way it should be.

All parameters to methods are passed "by value." In other words, values of parameter variables in a method are copies of the values the invoker specified as arguments. If you pass a double to a method, its parameter is a copy of whatever value was being passed as an argument, and the method can change its parameter's value without affecting values in the code that invoked the method. If the Java programming language actually had pass-by-reference parameters, there would be a way to declare halveIt so that the preceding code would modify the value of one, or so that commonName could change the variable sirius to null. Because two copies of the same reference refer to the same actual object, changes made through one reference variable are visible through the other. PROBLEM WITH CALL LOGS/CONTACTS

I AM FACING A WIERD PROBLEM WITH MY Z10, WHEN I GET A CALL OR A MISS CALL THE NUMBER SHOWS UNDER A DIFFERENT CONTACT NAME HOWEVER THE ORIGINAL CONTACTS REMAIN UNCHANGED AS IT ONLY HAPPENS IN CALL LOG PAGE.
CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME ON THE SAME.

Is the name in the log showing as a different contact entirely, or is the name not how you manually entered it in your phone?
Does this happen with all your contacts in the logs or just specific ones?
Do you have multiple link sources for your Contacts in the Contacts app?

Problem when calling the RFC and IDoc adapter at the same time

Hi,
I'm having a major slowdown problem with XI3.0 SP11.
When I'm sending a message(IDoc) from R/3 into XI to get translated into an EDI document, I have no problems and it's very fast. RFC calls are very fast too.
Now, if I'm sending the same message and at the same time another call is done trough the RFC adapter, then the full XI environment hangs for several minutes.
I did all recommended settings from the XI-SR1 install guide(Configuring the J2EE Engine) and tuning guide (XI Configuration Parameters)
and I don't know what to do more? At the Unix level, command TOP shows that dw.sap.XDV_DVEBMGS70 is taking all the CPU% available when both messages(IDoc and RFC) are sent to XI at the same time.
Anybody have an idea what to do next?

Did you check the dev_rfc logs ? Also check SM21 for any errors. Logon to the Target System and check SM50 transaction then you will know whats going on.
