E6 - Belle | OVI store cannot download & install.

Now, I am unable to download or install OVI store. My software update says up-to-date. But in my phone, OVI store & Maps are still missing. How can I download? I have gone through store.ovi.mobi in mobile web browser, it downloads, but installation fails "Unable to install".
Any help & solution, appreciate.

Hi, today I did a hard reset of my E6. I did this because I got an error trying to install ebuddy, chat for facebook and others. (Innstallation failed error).
Now, I seem to have a similar problem with ovi store, it downloads but I get an error "Could not install" after it is downloaded. I have tried several restarts and also downloading the installe rfile to my phone, same error. I am getting very frustrated right now.
Also, how to I get the preinstalled apps like joikuspot (Is that spelled right?) and quickoffice back?
Any help would be appriciated!

I'm having the same problems with my E6. I have got it for a week or so now. My Ovi Store didn't work at all but then out of nowhere I got an update on it and now it's working fine. I even downloaded an free app called NU.nl but after that one I get errors everytime I want to download an app. I didn't do a reset because my E6 is totally new and I haven't put anything on it so don't see the point of that. Can somebody help?

N8 Ovi Store unable to install app after downloade...

Hi all,
Ovi Store in my N8 unable to install app after downloaded. App are succefully downloaded but hang when start installing, i follow the prompt instruction in N8, which is click Smart Installer but prompt same installation process box & the box disappears after that without a successful installation.
App face above problem include Lyrics, Youtube Downloader, Different Tack.
My Nokia N8 firmware details :
Release : PR1.1
Software Version : 013.016
Product Code : 059D1F9
Ovi Store version : 2.06.00042
I'm not sure app at above are Qt app or not. Is it current firmware PR1.1 in N8 doesn't support Qt app yet? Anyboby has idea what's wrong for the Ovi Store?

It can be solved by 5 steps :
1. Close Ovi Store and uninstall app using Application Manager.
2. Clear your browser cache data (Nokia browser>Options>Clear privacy data>All).
3. Go to file manager to clear installed app file (Menu>Application>Office>File Manager>Options>Find>Select Drive C or E depends where you install the app>Root folder>Type app name you want to remove>Delete founded file).
4. Restart your phone.
5. Open Ovi Store and install the app again.

Ovi Store Re-download Error

I got my N8 replaced at the local Nokia Care with a brand new handset. However, I do have one problem and was wondering if you guys know anything about it:
When I am in Ovi Store, and I try to re-download all my previously installed applications it charges me again. i.e. when i go to My stuff it says something about there being a newer version of the application. Even though I have the latest Ovi Store version 2.06 and I tried Angry Birds Seasons and I Must Run but theyre exactly the same versions i had downloaded only a few weeks ago. Is this because the Ovi Store apps u download are not linked to your username but your actual IMEI? Does anyone know what I need to do to get all the applications i had before without paying for them all again cos I've already paid for them......

Are you trying to update Angry Birds and Angry Birds Seasons? Just tap the update button on the main screen of the game, it's in the lower right portion of the screen.

Problem updating ovi store and downloading whatsap...

When i try to open ovi store on my x2-01 it tells me to update it before i would be able to download it and when i try it always tells me page not found.my other problem is when i try to download any software e.g whatsapp application using my phone it tells page not found i have restore it factory setting but am still having the same problem please what should i do because i really love to use other softwares e.g whatsapp

Unfortunately that is one of the outstanding issues with the current firmware in the N8, E7 and C7. The hard reset does not reinstall Qt which is required for the apps you mentions. See this.

Although it is possible to reinstall Qt, the process is highly complicated and should only be atempted by expert users. My suggestion would be to either get your phone reflashed at your local Nokia Care Point or to wait for the next firmware up[date which will hopefully include a fix for this.

Cannot download/install game due to low memory, ca...

Whenever I try to download the game"Imperium - ROTS", I get a message stating that I do not have enough memory to download. The game is 226 Mb, and I have ~1gb available.
However, I can download/install "Asphalt Overdrive", which is 268mb.
Why can't I downloaded imperium? I've deleted apps/games and restarted. I'm using a Lumia 520 running the latest version of Windows Phone 8.1.

Hello, DerpyBacon. Where do you usually save the downloaded apps? Have you tried moving some of them to SD card or phone memory to check if there's any difference? We'll wait for your reply.

Cannot Download/Install Adobe Editions 1.7.2

I cannot download Adobe Digital Editions 1.7.2.
I'm currently running CS5.5 on Mac OSX 10.7.2 - The Digital Editions download page tells me "Sorry, but your system does not meet the minimum system requirements".
Has this app not been updated to work with 10.7.2?
And, if not, will it be updated?

from Apple onto a Mac, it will act differently than if you went to another

Flash doesn't do any of this. If it's preventing you from going further,

I cannot download/install AVG virus protection and Adobe Flash Player and both seem related to Firefox

The free version of AVG goes through most of the installation, then stops, says there is a problem and I should look at Firefox security bar at top of page, which I never find.
Trying to download/install Flash Player, pretty much the same frustration, time after time.

Close Firefox before running the Flash installer - that's Adobe's rules for installing the Plugin version of Flash.

10.4.8 - Cannot Download & Install ANYTHING!

bottom-line...I have been a MAC user since 1984-85 and since downloading/upgrading to 10.4.8 I cannot download Aperature or any other downloads....
Have had no problem with all other OS's, but with 10.4.8 I cannot download ANYTHING properly...even the software I am willing to pay Apple $$$$ for.

Mention of "mounting failed" suggestes you can download but that you can't get the .dmg images to open and mount. You can also open Applications> Utilities> Console and check the console.log for error messages related to failed attempts to open the .dmg files.
There are some tips in this thread: in Terminal, enter the following two lines, pressing Return/Enter after each line:
sudo kextunload -c com.apple.AppleDiskImageController
sudo kextload -b com.apple.AppleDiskImageController
If you control-click on the .dmg image and select Open With..., the default option should be for DiskImageMounter; see if selecting between the default and Disk Utility makes any difference. Ditto launching Disk Utility and trying to open the file from the Disk Utility File menu.
Also try moving ~/Users/ [username]/ Library/ Preferences/ com.apple.frameworks.diskimages.diskimagesuiagent.plist to the Desktop.
Also do Get Info on the downloaded files and confirm that your user account is shown as the owner with read/write permissions on the file.
You want to re-apply the 10.4.8 Combo updater, as baltwo already noted.

I tried to upgrade to Mountain Lion via the App Store on my early 2011 MacBook Pro running Lion OS X. Whenever I try to purchase Mountain Lion I am greeted with an error 13 message. I have followed the various other forums suggesting I delete file ~/Library/Cookies/com.apple.appstore.plist in the App Store cookies however this fails to work.
I have also tried the following:

App store error download install

HI there,
After update to Mountain Lion (combo) 10.8.3, I got problems in all machine.
I download files from app Sore and I got error 103, I passed for some posts and tried the solutions but without success.
If i download any file I got corrupted dmg file.
Tried also to update and reinstall the osx mountain lion without success.
Anyone to help ?

Cannot download/install Lion on MacBook4,1

Hi,
I've just bought Lion to install over the top of 10.6.8 on an old MacBook4,1. I've redeemed the code I got from Apple and OS X Lion appeared in the App Store "Purchases" with a download button. But pressing the download button doesn't appear to do much, except asking me to sign in. Once signed in, I get a "loading" animation for a second, but then that disappears and the button still says "Download".
However, if I reboot, then "Downloading Lion (Paused)" or similar appears in the dock. I can click "resume", which does nothing. I can click "cancel", which also does nothing, unless I reboot again, after which it disappears and I'm back to square one, except I'm unable to see OS X Lion in "Purchases" unless I go into my account and unhide purchases.
I see nothing in downloads, nothing in applications.
Pint for anyone who can solve it.

Problem solved. It downloaded very very silently. Appeared in Applications eventually.

Itunes store - cannot download movies over 4gb ,firewall problem

Here's something odd
Once I purchased dumb and dumber from itunes I immediately begun the download but something strange
happened,it only downloaded to 375mb then the download restarted then when it reached 375mb
it tells me that the download was interrupted and I look in my downloads to see that it
has stopped along with a 9006 error
I've been trying to download the movie repeatedly with no success
and I tried other movies that are over 4gb and have met with the same result
then I ran a network diagnosis and it said that everything is fine except that
the firewall was not enabled for itunes(even though it is) but when I download something from my purchases
and do the network diagnoses it says that the secure link to the itunes store has failed
I'm able to download everything else just fine despite this
any solutions?

I'm having the same exact problem. Bought Nightmare Before Christmas yesterday, tried to install it last night. Same error message, billed for it (said it was downloaded). Tried to report problem, re-directed to itunes store help page. EVERY SINGLE TIME! I've never had a problem purchasing movies from the itunes store.
Does ANYONE know how to fix this?!?

Cannot download/install adobe flash player

Having issues downloading the newest version of flash player, When visiting hulu I'm told to download the newest version. I visit the download page, even after verifiying I already have the newest version, I then attempted to uninstall and then reinstall but still not working. I've tried through both IE and Firefox, IE says it cannot be downloaded and Firefox downloads but wont install.
I''m not very comouter savvy so any help avasilable would be nice, in language I can understand:)

Hi Ash. I would try first making sure that everything you have in the way of Flash player right this minute is totally uninstalled on your PC, that is if you are using a PC. Go to control panel uninstall programs find that thing & zap it. Also if you are using Internet explorer & Firefox then you may have a problem with Firefox trying to but in with the download. For some reason Firefox doesn't always play nice with certain downloads like printer drivers, software updates & things like that. Not sure why. I suggest you uninstall Firefox as well, before you download Flash . You can always re-install it if you like it. I love Google Chrome myself but go with what your comfortable with. Once you have these done go back to the download page & make sure your download is for the 64 bit version of Flash player. First things first get rid of the flash player you have on there now & dump Firefox. Go to control panel find these two & uninstall. Write me back if need to.

Cannot download/install OS X Maverics

I have a Mac with Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63b) that I bought in 2010. It has 4 GB of RAM, 100+ GB of free space, and hence I think my machine fits the requirements given here for free upgrade to install OS X Maverics.
I pressed the download button to install Maverics from the AppStore. I get a popup to give my Apple ID and password. Once I give that nothing happens - no response and the download button appears again. The OS X Maverics gets listed in "Purcahses" tab as well, but even if I press there, nothing happens. Could any of you please HELP?

I'm having the same problem too, except with me the download has been stuck on "waiting" for 2 days now. It was working fine until it got to half of the download, then I've been having "waiting" ever since.
