E6 Camera flash and flashlight only blinks once

I have the Nokia E6.00, Symbian Belle for 18 months. Today I tried to take a photo with the flash, but the flash just blinks once and illuminates nothing. When testing the flashlight, it too, when turned on, just blinks once and goes out. My settings seem to be fine. Does anyone have a fix for this problem? Thanks.

You would probably have to exclude any possible software corruption first by backing up device via Nokia Suite and reset device by keying in *#7370# followed by 12345 (default Nokia lock code unless altered by user). Failing this you could use option to re-install exisiting device software within Nokia Suite. At this point a visit to Nokia Care facility would beckon unfortunately.

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

Camera flash and Flashlight will not work. Reboot and battery pull were both tried..as was force stop and clearing data.. no help. Couldn't find any other ideas on Google... Any suggestions?

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
If that doesn't help Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

FLASH and Co only via download?

hi friends
mostly I use my computer with my premiere elements 13 offline.
but when I try to make exports for the internet on this maschine,( my private website where I will show my hollidayvideos) I cant do th exports/publishings cause premiere
needs to go online. did I make mistakes while installing it? why cant export/publish -for example flash- in offline mode?
my idea was to take the footage from the camera, edit it, export it to my harddisk, and when I am back home, than I will load it up the my website. seems to be a nogo?
hope that there is a solution. if it is a feature, that premiere elements doesnt have all options and can only do the job when online with ADOBE, then I realy have a problem.
but I cant beleive that, ADOBE must tell this prior to sell to the customer if the product doesnt work in offline mode with all features.

today I will check the free flash konverter, but this file needs AVI!my weekend will become exciting....I am downloading some more free stuff.
and next time when I go to holliday maybe I take another option with my camera.I was so proud that this little thing does that realy good looking fullHDs, so I filmed the two months in Portuagal in this format.
and -by the way- the Toshiba TV of my doughter also doesnt play the clips from the cam!!
my Samsung and our Computers does!
and it realy lookes great 1920x1080 60p!
the sound from the cam is unusable, on the Algarve Cliffs there was a strong wind - I do the sound on my computer, ..

I see the menue-point to publish to an private website. I thought this would give me a file which I can upload with my upüload-tool for my website later and first check it offline.
but I cant export/publish or whatever, cause the prog always wants to connect to ADOBE.and -sometimes I am in my mobilhome or at home and there it collides with my firewall.it doesnt connect to youtube, ist ADOBE - I can see this!
I have lost the game, yes I was missinterpreting but now I am much more clever..;-)
so I must realy look for another software?
and: if a company says that their software supports AC3 - I must be aware and ask what they meanandif they say that they will support YOUTUBE publishing, than this might be that first ADOBE wants to see the clip.otherwise I dont unerstand why the connection doesnt direct to YOUTUBE but to ADOBE!
what ever I try the connection is always to ADOBE, everytime! (tried several times..and I can watch what the program does!) this is NOT a first time activation, looks like that they want give away the codec.
for 5.1 (AAC) your first help was sufficient, I could made the mp4 with a 6-channel AAC, but cant mix the channels in PREMIERE.
and I make the sound in channelorder for AC3 5.1, the channel with AAC are in different order as you know.so I cant use it....
its stripping down my too high expectations, PREMIERE Elements is just for cutting off the unwanted parts of a clip or doing some transitions or assemble some takes together - thats all.
this weekend I start testing VirtualDub and the other freeware programs. and I will write to see how VEGAS works.VirtualDub does cooperate with AFTEN - my AC3 encoder, anyway I am very sceptical, and there should be a programm called DIRECTOR anything, I have to search for this..they say it supports AC3 (hahaha) and exports for internet use...(LOL)

The way that I understand that it works, is that the photos are not copied into the new albums, instead it just points to the photos - the number of photos on the iPad in Settings > General > About doesn't increase when you create new album so I assume from that that it isn't copying the photo, just pointing to it. So if you delete the photo from the camera roll you will therefore also be deleting all the pointers to it

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Camera Flash and Focus Issues

I have 2 issues with the Camera on my Note 3:
1) The camera flash stops working on my Note 3 even when using another application like Flashlight. I need to turn off my phone and turn it back on for it to start working.
2) The Camera takes a long time to take pictures and the pictures are often out of focus.
Anyone else have these issues and know a solution?

Nokia 1020 lumia camera issue (and flashlight X)

I do not know this absolutely but I noticed after I downloaded a couple of updates, including an update to Flashlight X, on my nokia 1020 that it suddenly started taking pictures on its own back to back with out stopping. The phone also got warm and the battery would deplete.
This was all a couple of days ago. Since, I have deleted the Flashlight x app and this camera problem seems to have gone away.
So far so good. Again its just a hypothesis.

SaveState and resetState only called once for a component in a dataTable?!

I am fairly new to JSF and am trying to write some custom components using MyFaces 1.0.9.
I am trying to write choose, when and otherwise components to mirror the functionality that XSL provides. I also created function and argument tags that allow me to call any method on a binding bean via a method binding. The when tag allows a function tag as a child so that instead of a test to a value binding, I can call a function on a bean to get the test value.

</x:choose>I am evaluating the UIWhen components in the encodeChildren method of my UIChoose component.
Everything is working fine until I started using my tags/components in a data table. Now, I have not tried the normal dataTable, I am using the MyFaces extended one, but I haven't done anything that should make a difference.
What is happening is that my UIWhen tag's saveState and restoreState methods are only being called once, despite the fact that there are 3 rows in my data table. So what happens, is that the isRendered() property of my UIWhen component is not restored per row, but only once. So my controls are either all validated or none are validated based on the rendered state of the last row only, not each individual row as expected.
I may be able to "fake" this into working by saving hidden input tags when rendering my UIWhen components and then restoring the rendered property when the page is posted, but that seems like a hack to me. Isn't the purpose of the saveState and restoreState supposed to handle this?
Is this a bug in the dataTable component/tag or is this a shortcomming of JSF?
Either way, is there a better way then trying to save my rendered state per row as hidden elements?
I looked at the code of the normal dataTable renderer in the MyFaces source, and it does not seem to call restore or save state that I could see.

Hello!
You can place in the data model editor formula and placeholder
columns outside of any groups. I think you need for each of your
summary-attibutes a placeholder column and one formula column.
Use the formula column to populate the placeholders via PL/SQL.
Afterwords you can reference the placeholders anywhere you want.

Camera Flash and Shutter out of sync

Wayyy too often the shutter will go after the flash. Just once it opened at start of flash, or it COULD be at end of flash).
Is this a known bug or should I take in for service?

I want to thank you for your suggestions, which by the way lead me to my own solution! I simply rebooted the iPhone and that fixed it. Here's how for those who may need it any time an app is not behaving as it should.

whenever i take picture with flash on in night mode, the white flash light appears on one side of photo.. since flash is just beside the lens... is it the software problem or are there any settings to remove this... please help....

Night mode is designed to work without flash. So either use flash or night mode, but not both.

Flash and .htpasswd

I am building a flash content editor, which loads data from
php scripts from a server. It loads sucessfully when the swf is on
the same server, and when I test the project locally from inside
Flash. But now I've thought that it would be a good idea to protect
the folder on the server that contains the php scripts with
.htaccess and .htpasswd .
All well, but now I can't load the data from inside flash
anymore. Is there a way for the flash to identify itself, because
there is no authorisation popup, like when you access the directory
in a browser?

I want both the flash and the php files (once it's all up and
running) completely off-limit to anybody not authorised, but I want
it to be also accessible to both me and the client, so I can't have
the php files anywhere local (in a non internet accessed folder, as
far as I understand)
That would also require (as far as I understand), that I (and
the client) have a php server running on my(and their) machine, and
that any maintenance would require updating php files on both
machines... and all of that is simply out of the question..
So ok, as far as I get it, it can't be done, I'll just have
to leave the folder open during development (as it has been since I
noticed this problem) and protect it once it's finished. So far
it's not a big problem, I think, since the published site is still
getting its data off static files..

Camera flash/video light stops working after 4.5 upgrade?

OK, I apologize if this has been asked or covered here before, but I'm overwhelmed by irrelevant search results on all the search terms I can think of for "flash". Today when I did a routine sync the desktop manager wanted to upgrade me to 4.5, so I did. Apparently, my camera flash and video light LED now no longer works, although it was fine before the upgrade. I've tried changing settings from Automatic to On and even Off then On in both the camera and video cam apps, but no luck. I have also done a battery pull. Short of falling back to the previous OS release, which I am loathe to do since it's taken me most of the day to get everything else back to normal after the upgrade, what else can I try? -Sean

Any feedback on this one???
So much money spent on such a buggy device does not look like a good deal to me. Looks like Apple will loose me forever as a customer.
