E6 "View interupted downloads?" message

Greetings,
Does anyone have a solution to the following issue with Nokia E6.
After closing we browser I get the message "View interupted downloads? yes/no". If pressed yes, phone opens browser and get nest message "Select to instal or open: content.bin, 0 kb" with button Hide. If pressed Hide browser opens on Ovi page, then if you try to close it you get again the same "View interupted downloads?" message.
Thanks,
Jonas

Just like I thought that I had already regged on the forum, entered a user name and made some posts - but it's asking me to do it again today - is how the E6 gets stuck on that dialog and repeats it over and over again..
So many small *problems* with the phone, interface and software (which keep stacking up, since the first day that I got it, just recently - as a present from my uncle); && apparently the forum software too, if I'm not mistaking, I don't really care about the phone and Nokia at this point at all (which is out of character for me).
Aaanyway (lol ), the download thingy; When the screen pops-up, hold the item(s) down on the touchscreen and there will be an option to delete it. Solved. =)
P.S.
There's no way to disable smilies on the forum, so they won't break the line-spacing (by being too big)?.. Ah, well.
Edit: Looks like it's my first post, from what it's showing.. Must've used a different email, the other day, or something. ;-$

  • "View interrupted downloads?" Message in Nokia N95

    Dear all,
Every time I finish browsing using web application on Nokia N95 and exit the web I receive the message "view interrupted downloads?" with options yes or no. When I press yes it opens web application again & when I press no nothing happened. I can't get rid of it. I try clearing cache but nothing happened.
Can anybody tell me what I should do to get rid of this message?

I've encountered this before and I from what I remember if you click on Options you should see a menu option which allows you to view the downloads which have been interrupted.
From there you should be able to either cancel them or continue the download.Message Edited by edwardquan on 18-Jun-200709:57 PM

  • Why won't Adobe reader no longer let me view previously download (from Safari) pdf's? I am running OSX 10.8.5 and have uninstalled and reinstalled latest version of Reader?

Why won't Adobe reader no longer let me view previously download (from Safari) pdf's? I am running OSX 10.8.5 and have uninstalled and reinstalled latest version of Reader. I get this error message "Adobe Reader could not open 'OD Test Bed Proposals_0.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)."  I have tried changing the 'open with' options too. Thanks

    Try this:
    Go to: Mac HD/Library/Internet Plug-ins
Trash the AdobePDFViewer.plugin and AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin files
    Empty the trash
Relaunch Safari. You can now download undamaged PDFs.

  • Launching Microsoft Access from Internet Explorer to view a downloaded MDB file opens the wrong file (not a problem if I use Firefox)

When clicking on a link (in Internet Explorer 9) to download an Access MDB file and then choosing to open the file directly in Microsoft Access (2007) instead of saving it, the file is copied to Temporary Internet Files but Microsoft Access tries to open
a different file and displays an (Unrecognized database format) error.
When I click on the option to open the file, the MDB file is copied to Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5 but instead of that file, Access tries to open a different (incorrect) file located in Temporary Internet Files\Content.MSO (e.g. in the above error
message, NativeView.do is an XML file containing an error message).
I don't see this problem with Word, Excel or PowerPoint files. When opening a Word file (without saving) the Word file is copied to Content.IE5 but an identical .tmp file is created in Content.MSO which when opened in Microsoft Word displayed the required file
correctly. The same happens for Excel files. PowerPoint appears to be handled a little differently (no .tmp file created in Content.MSO but the required file is still copied to Content.IE5) but the PPT file is still opened correctly in Microsoft PowerPoint.
I think the Content-Type "application/msaccess" is fine because Internet Explorer does launch Microsoft Access. It just tries to open the wrong file (or so I think). However, it looks like the file type is not being determined. Here is what I noticed
when trying to open different Microsoft Office files using Internet Explorer:
The last one is the MDB file. As you can see, only for this type of file, the "Type" (Microsoft Office Access 2007?) is not displayed in this Open/Save dialog box.
On Firefox, I don't see this problem. When I tried clicking on the link to the MDB file in Firefox, Microsoft Access was launched and the file was opened correctly. Is there something I can do so the MDB file is opened properly using IE? I can add/change headers
in the HTTP response that writes this file to the output stream (on disk) if that helps.
    Thanks for your time!

Sounds like a problem symptom to be discussed in either an IE forum or an Access forum, not here.  How did you come to post here?  ForumsRedesign.  That might be an on-topic issue for this forum.  <eg>
Can you find your way to either of those other forums easily from here?  Another on-topic question for here I think.   ; )

Oops, my bad. Thanks for letting me know! :)
    I've re-posted it here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/ie/en-US/1a818501-296c-42fb-8abb-ba914629c962/launching-microsoft-access-from-internet-explorer-to-view-a-downloaded-mdb-file-opens-the-wrong-file?forum=ieitprocurrentver
Hopefully that's the right place for this.

  • My email accounts on my iphone 4s show the message titles but won't display the main message.  How can I view the main message?

I am stuck.  I recently travelled abroad and changed the settings on my iphone.  I thought that I had changed them all back but messages in my mail accounts show the titles but when I click into them the main message doesn't download.  Is anyone able to tell me what settings I need to change to be able to view the main messages?

Try closing the Mail app completely and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

  • Mail Slow, re-downloading messages

Mail has worked very well for me for quite some time---but over the last week or so I've been having a lot of problems.
    Symptoms:
When I open mail I typically see only messages that came in 2 or 10 or 24 hours ago. Very slowly more recent messages will start to show up.
Often it will take a long time for the contents of a message to download when I open a message.
Sometimes all my mail for two or three months will disappear, then slowly come back.
The Mail Activity window usually shows messages downloading, often stalled.
The symptoms are similar for both machines. I've used the MacBook on different ISPs with similar symptoms.
    Here's the setup:
I have a Mini and a MacBook, both running 10.5.2.
I use Sync for Mail rules, signatures, smart mailboxes--but not for the accounts themselves.
I have four email accounts---three POP accounts and a Gmail account I have set up as an IMAP account.
The POP accounts all forward to the Gmail account.
The IMAP account is the only one setup to check messages automatically. The others are only there so I can send using those account details.
Mail is set to download messages for offline viewing.
I have tried: repairing permissions, deleting mail preferences, adding DNS settings and doing an archive and install on the MacBook. Nothing has worked.
    Any ideas?

I think I've figured out the problem, but haven't solved it. Gmail has a problem that will cause both the client AND web based mail to slow down dramatically if you are using an IMAP client. I have been using Apple mail to check my IMAP mail at Gmail---and that's the problem. If first developed in mid February and you can read all about it here:

  • Viewing and downloading Skype-Skype Call History

    Hi,
Could anybody please help me and advise how I would view and download a history of Skype to Skype calls on my computer? I mainly use my phone for Skype calls and I can see the history through my phone, but not through my Skype account on my computer, and I'm not sure of a way to best record it and transfer it to a separate file that can be printed off.  I've tried to enter SkypeLogView.exe into the Run bar but I get the response that Windows cannot find it.
Any help would be really appreciated! Thanks...
    Solved!

Thanks for the continued help... When I enter 'C:\Users\[my username]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft\SkypeApp\Localstate\[my skype name] into Windows Explorer it gives the same message that it cannot be found. I have the Skype that was installed on my laptop when I bought it with Windows 8. Afraid I can't see the Help / About option when I'm inside the Skype app. All I can see is the call option, create group, search, my account, add contact, save number... Not sure how I would find the version I have from here

  • Cannot view or download PDF's from Safari

Hi. I got a new MacBook Pro with retina display this summer... love it. A few weeks ago I joined Creative Cloud and upgraded my Adobe software; all software worked fine up to the CC upgrade. So details are: Mac OS 10.8.5, Safari 6.1, Acrobat X1 Pro.
Now when I am online and there is a pdf to either view or download from Safari I get the following warning:
    Adobe PDF Document
There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader
If it is running, please exit and try again. (1:9)
I have quit Acrobat and tried again, I have reinstalled Acrobat from CC. Nothing changes. Please help.
    Thanks - Lorraine

Usually, this message occurs with Windows. First time I've seen it with OS X. Looking into it.

  • Previously downloaded message becomes undownloaded?

    Hi,
I had checked my mail earlier today around 10:00 a.m. and then I wanted to refer back to a certain message later that day around 8:00 p.m. and it gave me a blank screen that read "+This message has not been downloaded from the server.+" But I had already viewed it before, so does it like "un-download" or what? This doesn't happen to all of my messages, only some of them. Can anyone help me? Thank you!

It sounds like you're using a POP account. Do you also check this account from another computer or device? Some mail clients and devices will download messages and remove them from the server, making them unavailable to other devices (like your iPhone).
If it's a POP account, does your provider also offer IMAP support? IMAP often gives better performance when accessed from multiple devices or clients.

Reader for Mac 10.8.5. Downloading message is in chinese How do I stop this? Am I a victim of an Safari or Adobe vulnerability?

Don't know about downloading message. There seems to be a strange error in something which gives you a message in Japanese when trying to view a PDF from Safari.
The message means "To view this file, first launch (open, start) Adobe Reader (the app, from Applications) and accept the license agreement, then quit".

  • "Unable to check for downloads" message -- how do I see the movie I rented?

I just rented "The King of Kong" through my AppleTV and it tells me to go to Settings-Downloads-Check for Downloads to view it, but when I do I always get "Unable to check for downloads"! So how exactly do I see the movie I just rented? And of course there is no one live at customer support at this hour. This is not the seamless experience I've always heard people are supposed to have with Apple products!

Same problem on 3rd rental--"Over Her Dead Body." Amazing how many times this title appears on this thread. Coincidence or server issue? I haven't tried renting since this problem. Title appears in iTunes account; checking "purchases" under "Store" shows all purchases downloaded. Still get "Cannot check for downloads" message on ATV for two days now. 2d request into Apple Support now; will see what they say.

  • Why is it so complicated to quick-view or download attachments in the new Mail?

Is there a way to revert back to Mountain-Lion-style behaviour for Mail attachments?
Quick-viewing or downloading email attachments is unnecessarily complicated in the new Mail in Mavericks. Downloading attachments in Mountain Lion used to require a single click, now it requires at least three clicks. Quick-viewing used to take zero clicks, now it takes two. Very irritating.
    Thanks!

I agree - this is a real PITA - see my message here and please send a request to Apple to fix it.
