E60 and BH-900 Headset

I just got a BH-900 for my E60. So far, I've found that incoming call do not 'beep' the headset - they just ring on the handset, although it seems to try to play the ringtone very faintly in the background. Nothing comes through in Silent mode. My very basic Moto HS820 beeps in both situations.
I've seen others have had issues with the N93 and N80 - has anyone else had this issue with the E60?
BTW - Bluetooth handsfree is set to use the default profile.

It is the same with the E61 (v3 firmware), there is no beep but the ringtone is reasonably loud. With the silent profile, the headset is silent with no beep, which is almost useless.
Try it with a VoiIP call and it probably won't answer the call with the answer button!

  • Why does my Sennheiser BW 900 headset disconnect after each call?

Although I had no problem pairing a Sennheiser BW 900 headset with my iPhone 4S, it disconnects after each call. It is the only bluetooth device paired to the phone. Any help with solving this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Still having same issue, only now it seems to stay connected at times and disconnect at times.  My phone is literally right next to me, I am at my desk, not moving around.  The strangest thing is that it REconnects again randomly.  So I never know whether to answer with the headphones or using my actual phone!  Please help!

  • I can record voice memos fine using the built-in iPhone 4 mic.  And my Bluetooth headset (Jawbone Era) works fine when I leave messages on voice mail systems etc. when calling on the iPhone 4.  However, I cannot record voice memos with my Bluetooth mic.

I can record voice memos fine using the built-in iPhone 4 mic.  And my Bluetooth headset (Jawbone Era) works fine when I leave messages on voice mail systems etc. when calling on the iPhone 4, so it appears my headset mic is fine.  I can also use voice activated dialing, although it fails miserably interpreting numbers.  However, I cannot record voice memos with my Bluetooth mic.   I just get barely audible static.  Any suggestions?   Thanks.

Hello, did you ever get an answer to your question? I just picked up a Jawbone Era and using on an iPhone 4s running 5.0.1. Seems to work fine on regular calls, but not on the built in Voice memos application. It worked fine on my older Jawbone Icon, but haven't tested on the 4s or iOS 5.
    Thanks!

  • Is there a software in which I can hook up my iPhone 4s to my computer and send and receive text messages and calls (via headset) through my computer?

Is there a software in which I can hook up my iPhone 4s to my computer and send and receive text messages and calls (via headset) through my computer? Whether it's free or cost money, can someone please give me a name of a program or software that allows me to do this? I can't seem to find anything like this for the iPhone.

    No.

  • Mac mini and Logitech gaming headset

I have a 2008 Mac Mini running 10.6.4 and I want to use a Logitech headset for online gaming but I can not make the microphone work. The output works fine, but the input wont register at all. The mic uses two standard jacks, one for input and one for output and they are connected directly to the back of the mini but it get no recognition that a mic is attached at all.
Anyone know how to get the mini to recognize the mic?

The line should be the mic option assuming you have a line in and a line out connection on the back of the Mini and the sound out and mic in connectors are plugged in to the right connections.
I have a USB camera with built in mic ( Playstation Eye ) connected to one of the USB ports which I use for the mic and it shows up below line in in the settings so I don't use the line in unfortunately.
The line in is meant to be the mic input. I have a late 2009 Mini and it has a line in and a line out as in the picture in the link below. Is yours the same ?
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3478
Having looked at the specs on that page again it seems as if the line in may not support mics after all. The other option would be to get a USB adapter with a female line in and line out and connect the headset to one of the USB ports as this should work. I've done just that on my MacBook Air which is running 10.6.3.
The Playstation Eye on my Mini is connected the same way. If you can't find an adapter for your existing headset then you might need to consider buying a new one that does have USB as an option.

You need to put the headset into pairing mode. The phone should then see it even though you have done the forget this device.

  • Xperia Z1, Problem with OTG and Sony PS3 Headset Pulse USB Adapter

Hi, I did a bit of testing, with headphones Sony PS3 Wireless Headset Pulse , I state that both the adapter and the Sony Pulse Headphones work perfectly on PC and PS3 via the USB adapter , then connect the adapter via USB OTG connection on the Sony Xperia Z1 . With much regret I noticed that the connection between the USB adapter and headphones was established , but the audio was transmitted jerky and scratchy . So I decided to try again via USB OTG headphones Logitech F540 (again, via USB OTG, not via audio jack) , and with much enthusiasm I noticed a connection quick and efficient , without cawing and smoothly ; clear sound as if they were of the headphones connected directly to the Audio Jack with wire . I then decided to try another pair of headphones USB (for PC) , the Creative HS -1200 , connecting via the USB OTG adapter receiver headphones ( ie the same thing I did with Sony and the Logitech ) ; also in this case the Creative Wireless Headphones have received the sound from the USB receiver , without any problem or distortions . Now I want to understand how it might work all this variety of USB devices not Made by Sony , connected via the OTG port , but do not work Devices Made By Sony ? You can solve this problem with the Firmware right?
The firmware installed in my Xperia Z1 is 14.1.G.1.534 .
The OTG cable is fully functional with a multitude of devices (USB HD 2.5 Inch, USB pendrive, USB Audio, USB Mouse and keyboard).
For your info, I already tried to connect the OTG, to a powered USB 2.0 HUB, and on the HUB USB, connect the adapter from Sony and the result is one and the same. The USB adapter will light as the Sony Z1 directly connected to the OTG, but the sound from the speakers gets crackling and jerky. I tried to connect the USB adapter of Sony headphones, and then connect the cable from USB jack to the audio jack of Z1, and of course the audio works perfectly, because it bypasses the USB audio sent by Z1, going to use the 'Jack audio input, and using the USB Headset adapter (Sony Pulse) as a simple transmitter.
Thank you to anyone reply to this.
Edit: i have try with samsung S3 and Samsung S4 with OTG and the Sony HeadSet Pulse work fine with the USB Dongle. The problem is on the firmware audio of the Xperia Z1.

    Two possibility
    The driver is not right
Or the second i know and it's not possible to fix  , they can happen on any audio device with any pc or other host
You can try your headset over a usb hub with a extern power source and connect the usb hud on your phone ,  if this not continu it's a power problem with the usb port
Sometime a usb port cannot provide suffisent power and that affect the audio or any data transfer , a usb hub provide on each port the power they need so when you cronnect your headset that give the good power to him
Few friends know this issue with a variety of device
One use one device on each port on his pc and there happen the pc cannot provide suffisent power for his headset , I suggest to use the minimal on his usb port and he don't have the problem , I suggest to buy a usb port power by an external source and that fixed the problem
If his your problem no update can fix that for fixing you need a Y cable to give more power to the usb port of your celphone and using a external power source (portable charging , solar panel custom 5v usb port with AA batterie)

  • Kensington LiquidAUX and a bluetooth headset?

I'm looking at buying the Kensington LiquidAUX to charge my iphone in my car (my car stereo has in aux input). I have a question about taking phone calls with it: the LiquidAUX comes with a remote, which I want to use. The remote is bluetooth. Will the iphone have any issue connecting with both the remote and a bluetooth headset at the same time? I assume it can pair multiple blue tooth devices at the same time, right?
I want it to be so that I'm playing music through my iphone (via aux input), that I can easily switch over and take phone calls on a bluetooth headset....
    thx.

Two points here, firstly if you go to Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Bluetooth > if you tap middle icon on top row with two Bluetooth icons - is headset authorised with padlock icon beside it and secondly, if you go to Menu > Settings > Phone > Accessories > is headset set as default (longpress on Headset to reveal this option)?

Are u sure your are talking about database?
Why you need multiple database in one machine?
Just a note: What we called in database in sql server is called schema in Oracle.
In Oracle normally we keep only one instance in one machine (multiple also possible) and create multiple users and Schemas.

  • IPhone 5s incoming call rings on both headsets and speaker while headsets plugged in

Why my iphone 5s rings on both speaker and headsets in incoming call, while the headsets plugged in the phone?

    Hi Lucasethio,
That is expected behavior on a non-muted iPhone. If you mute/silence the ringer with the side switch, you should still hear the ringer through any plugged in headsets as well. You may also find the following article helpful:

  • IPhone 4S 7.0.2 and BlueAnt Q2 headset

    Hello,
I have the BlueAnt Q2 V1.2 UK headset.
Whenever i turn Bluetooth on, my BlueAnt device doesnt show up under devices in the bluetooth settings.
I used to use this headset on my old 3GS with no issues. I upgraded my phone to the 4S days before the ios 7.0 release. When i was backing up my 3GS, i forget to unpair my devices. So i transferred phones over without doing this setting.
I know the headset is working as i’ve tried it with another iPhone 4S and another 3GS and both have connected with the device with no issues.  I have even reset the device and unpaired it with those phones, so i know it not connected with any device at the moment.
I have searched all over the interent and have tried many things. I’ve tried them all together and separately as well etc.
I’ve turned off Siri, turned off location services, turned on personal hotspot.  A few times the Blueant showed up, it wasnt the full name of the headset like on any other device. When i would click on it, it would fail then disappear. It did this 3 times and i havent got it back since.
I have reset my phone, reset all setting,  reset network setting . I’ve even erased my whole phone and set up as a new phone and it still doenst work with doing any of the above settings.
So i’m really stuck on what else to try. It must be the phone.  I’ve already had this phone replaced once due to phone call issues.
Any ideas on why this is happening?

May have solved it so am posting back.
I had tried several times to sync the 4s after turning off the syncing of 'Contacts' (but telling iTunes to "retain" the contacts that are on the phone and NOT delete them). That managed to get through all other sync stages. However it still wouldn't sync completely; again hanging at 'Syncing Contacts' whenever I would turn that feature of the sync process back on.
Just this morning I opted to Repair Permissions on the iMac's hard drive. I noticed severl repairs made to iTunes-related files' permissions.
Tonight on the first try, the 4s synced trouble free.

  • 6680 and hds-3 headset

i have the nokia 6680 phone, with the hds-3 headset. however the phone stops recognising that the headset is plugged in after a couple of minutes, meaning the music plays through the speaker not the headphones, and as i use it in the library its not very helpful! what can i do about it? thanks

The 6680 is based on the Symbian operating system version 8.0a, and Nokia S60 (Series 60) 2nd Edition Feature Pack 2.
That (the Symbian/S60 versions) will not change over the lifetime of the phone, but the phone software (firmware) can be updated by a service center:

You will see current the firmware version/revision on your phone by "dialling" *#0000#
