E60 and too small font in default screensaver

is there any way to change fonts bigger in this model? or is there some screensaver with bigger font available?

Using "regedit" I was able to change the font size larger for use with the Palm Desktop software.
Run "regedit" and export (save) a backup copy for safety
    File  >  Export
  Search for "FontSmall"
Edit  >  Find  >  Find what  >  FontSmall
Click on FontSizeGeneral and change the "Value data" to 16
  Exit "regedit"
Run Palm Desktop software and enjoy the new legible font size!
  Notes:
  1) The location of the Palm Desktop software on my system using "regedit" is:
        HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\U.S. Robotics\Pilot Desktop\Core
        * Your location of the Palm Desktop software may differ.
  2) I tested this on monitors using resolutions of 1280 x 1024 and 1024 x 768
The font size is noticeably readable and much, much better
  3) You may also change the font family from the default (Arial) to another, such as Verdana, etc.
FontCard    (Changes the font family in the side panels)
FontGeneral    (Changes the font family for most of the program fonts)
  4) Operating System: Windows XP Pro

how do i change font sizes and colors in ical in OS Lion. Since upgrading,  all fonts are grey, instead of black,  and too small.   And how do I changed the color of the scroll bars, which also are grey and almost invisible?  And if you can asnwer this, can you tell me how to get back the email format I had before the upgrade?  I no longer have column headings and I'd like them.  Thank you.

Do you know about changing the font colors for ical, and the color of the scroll bars?
No, I don't. I don't use that program; I fiddled with it just now, and could not find a way to do that.
Perhaps someone else will have an idea.

  • Right side menu too small font size of letters in Windows 8.1 High DPI screen

Hi, I just own a new laptop with Windows 8.1 and high resolution screen.
When I start Adobe Reader, the document area seems to be readable, with "normal size fonts", but the options menú in the right side uses a very small fonts size and is hardly readable.
I tried to change it using the Windows "change menu, title, icons size, but withpout success.
    Any solution for it?
By the way, in a Lenovo Ideapad U430 Touch, there is not "magnyfying glass" combination key and the zoom function of the touch screen doesn't work either in that right side menu área (it works in the document area, not in the right side menu area).
    Any help will be welcomed.
    Thanks.

    Hi, Pat, test done.
Thanks for your suggestion, it was somehow helpful, or, let say, half and half.
It was helpful in the way that when I opened the preferences Windows I was not able to see the full window, there was a part of the right side of the window that was out of the screen. So, when I changed the "scaling settings options and behaviour" from "Auto" (default value) to 100% everything was in the display.... So, this was of high help.
BUT I was not able to find any way in all the suggested document for making the fonts used in the right window of the Adobe Reader, the one where the "Tools" and "Comments" menus are displayed more readable, bigger size, than the one that the product uses by default in the High DPI display.
So, thanks for the suggested document that helped to solve the first point.
    BUT
Any other idea that could help for changing the fonts used in the "Tools" or "Comments" menu window?
    Thanks and kind regards.

  • Problem with too small fonts

Hi, after some update I've noticed my fonts are too slow on some websites, especially it applies for Google Mail:
    http://img518.imageshack.us/img518/1262/picture1ds9.png
Google Reader is barely readable too, as well as some other pages. I've tried using Camino - the display is fine (not sure about Shiira, but I don't think it's WebKit rendering problem).
    Is anyone experiencing this too?
Of course it's possible to increase the font size manually with Command - +, but this way some fonts are too big, while the other ones - ok. This annoyance led me to setting Camino as a default browser.

To all of you if you happen to have same problem: reinstalling Safari helps .
P.S. Although it was a huge shock when Safari 3 Public Beta refused to install. Try inserting Mac OS X first instalation disk given with your computer and install Safari 2 first. Then Safari 3 Beta follows .

  • Panel Text Pixelated and too small

For some reason, the text in the Design/Properties/Code
panels is very small and somewhat pixelated; the same thing in the
Insert tabs at the top of the screen.
Changing the font size in the preferences under any other of
the categories does not work. Do I have to get one of the
magnifying programs to even see what they say? There has to be a
    way to fix this.

  • [solved] damn fast cursor (and sometimes small fonts) in gdm and GNOME

    Hey there!
Since yesterday's pacman -Syu (unfortunately I can't remember the packages beeing updated ), my cursor moves damn fast, i.e. the cursor is very (very! ) sensitive to mouse movements! I have a Logitech MX Laser, but it's the same with an old mechanical mouse.
My second problem (that came up a long time ago) is that gdm sometimes has a smaller fontsize (i.e. text entered in the login textfield is smaller than usual); and I have to restart X to reset the fontsize, otherwise it will be the same in GNOME. That often occurs after an update on X.
Any hints for me (mainly for the first one, I can live with the second...)? Thank you!

Try appending this resolution line to the mouse section of your /etc/X11/xorg.conf
I think setting a lower value will reduce the sensitivity.
    Identifier "Mouse1"
    Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "Auto" # Auto detect
    Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
    Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5 6 7"
    Option "Resolution" "128"

  • HT1459 Serial number is faded and too small to read. Itunes will not recognize my IPod Classic. How can I delete the current iPod software and reinstall it to see if this would solve the problem?

I recently upgraded my Itunes softeware, now itunes will not recognize my IPod Classic. If I delete the current IPod software and reinstall it, would this solve the problem, and if so, I'll need step by step instruction.

    Yep.
    Take a look here:

It appears that SANmp is indeed the most likely source of your problem.

  • Firefox 22 and higher shows fonts too big or too small, sometimes on the same page. How to "fix" this annoying 'improvement"?

Since the update *every* website displays with the fonts too big or too small. On many websites, some of the fonts are too big and some are too small *on the same page*
This makes for a horrible browsing experience.
I've tried setting the layout.css.PixelsPerPx to a value of 1, but all it does is make most websites fonts too small, while leaving some websites fonts too large, with many web pages having fonts simultaneously too large and too small.
The old behavior was quite acceptable and I'd really like to restore the behavior to what it was. How can I do that? Or do i just switch to Chrome and be done with it?

Did you even bother to read the question?
"I've tried setting the layout.css.PixelsPerPx to a value of 1, but all it does is make most websites fonts too small, while leaving some websites fonts too large, with many web pages having fonts simultaneously too large and too small."
This "fix" doesn't work. Hundreds of people are complaining about how their browser was broken by this "improvement". Why not address the real problem instead of telling users to apply a useless hack to fix a programming error?

  • ICal fonts too small to read

I tried using iCal for the first time.
I can't read the fonts on my 30" monitor without strong magnification. No one here can read the fonts easily, even those with excellent eyesight.
How can I enlarge the fonts without using the Universal Access magnification, which makes everything unsharp and gives me a headache?
    Thanks,
BTW, when I enlarge the fonts for these forums, the lines run into each other. Can that be fixed? Or is that a problem with the site?
    I use Safari.
    Thanks again,
    Mark B Anstendig

    I appreciate the help.
Unfortunately, changing resolutions on LCD is about the same, unsharpnesswise, as using the zoom feature in Universal access.
The ability to choose font size, font color, etc., was available in ODS 9 and previous, and should be available to us as a part of the system.
That it isn't and that, with typical native resolutions for LCDs fonts and all detail size is seen at about half WYSIWYG (half the printed-out size) is a huge fault of the Apple OS.
We are stuck with too small fonts and details in too many applications, windows, toolbars, etc.
I need to enlarge the fonts in iCal, without messing anything up like Universal access does. Otherwise, I cannot use it, nor can many people i know. Ity is that simple!
Any real solutions, not makeshift attempts at trying to help.
    Thanks again,

  • Screen size in windows 8.1 - all icons too small! How do I enlarge the entire captivate 8 screen?

The entire Captivate 8 screen to too small. How do I enlarge the entire window? All icons and thumbnails are 1/4 the size they should be. Using Windows 8.1.

It looks like it is an issue between Adobe and Microsoft. (Many Adobe programs are responding this way to Windows 8 and 8.1)
I am posting this to try and get some (ANY) ideas/feedback...but to also bring it to the Captivate Community attention. I hope the Captivate Staff is aware of this issue.
Same issue -great PhotoShop screenshot Photoshop too small on windows 8.1

Re: Photoshop CC / Windows 8.1 HiDPI / Retina scaling support
there are many many more out there......
I tried this first, it comes with Windows and changes your display properties by application: (but it didn't work)
The program above basicly edits these settings (you can get to these by right clicking on the exe application) I tried many combos, an even tried them under the "change for all users" setting.....NADA!
I have tried editing the Windows display settings: (all screen shots below are with this setting size)
The screenshot below is at 250%. It does not make any difference in the application (check out the menu bar, properties, icons....) If I go over 150% I lose dialog box space...the buttons disappear! If I keep it at 150% the words "Advanced Actions" at the top of the dialog box shrinks slightly, enough to fit the buttons in...) I showed the difference using snag it (12 pt arial compared to the appearance of the UI ~ 4 pt.) This is so hard to see! Same issue in some of the other adobe applications. (fyi...they are all up to date)
    Photoshop = same problem
    Dreamweaver = working fine
    Flash = working fine
Premier Pro = half working....(menubar is ok but everything else is real small)
    Muse = not working
Adobe Edge Code = Working fine
OOF! Well, any thoughts anyone? I appreciate any and al feedback and ideas!!!

  • After the recent update the entire browser, including menus, icons, and everything on the web page, are too small. Fonts are smaller, pics are smaller, zoom settings will not remain universal. Minimum font size will make text readable, but all pics are to

The new update has screwed up my browser settings, I cannot get them fixed and Im pissed because my computer is an eye-sore to read until this is fixed! EVERYTHING in the browser is smaller, fonts, menus, icons, web page content, pictures, tables, etc. I have set the minimum font in the settings and the text is just to a point where it is easily readable at the maximum size setting, but all the menus and icons are still tiny and hard to read. The last version I had installed worked fine with no add-ons needed. Everything fit the screen fine and was easily readable without modification. I want this version off my PC and I want the last version I had back on but I dont know what version it was!!!!!!! ARARGGGG
In fact, this stupid troubleshooting window that I am in filling out this form doesnt fit the page right at all, and edges of the text are cut off, so Im not even sure what some of these boxes are asking for!!

See [[Toolbars and page content appear too large after upgrading to Firefox 3]]
*Try to adjust the DPI setting, see http://kb.mozillazine.org/layout.css.dpi
*Try to set the pref layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to 2 on the about:config page.
To open the ''about:config'' page, type '''about:config''' in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.
If you need to increase (or decrease) the font size on websites then look at:
    Default FullZoom Level - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/6965
    NoSquint - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/2592

    babowa wrote:
The only way to increase the fonts on your desktop would be system wide by going down a notch on the resolution. Some people won't do it because it increases the pixel size so the fonts won't be quite as sharp; I decided I'd rather have that than having to squint continuously. Go to System Preferences > Displays > Scaled > this will give you all resolution options available. No harm in trying - just check the default (top) choice again if you don't like any of the others.
It's a b*&^ch getting old .  I still use the screen zoom instead of decreasing resolution, but maybe soon ...

  • Mail Composed, and incoming messages displayed Font too small.

Most emails I receive and my outgoing composed messages use a font size around 12 point. People who receive my emails see a normal size, but while I am composing or reading incoming messages the font displayed is too small and difficult to read.
When I use other applications where I also use or view a 12 point font, and have the viewing magnification set to 100%, the displayed font is just fine. I think this is due to my screen resolution which is set to 1280x800 on my 13" MacBook.
When I change my screen resolution to 1024x768, the mail displayed 12 point font becomes readable, and in other applications the 12 point font at 100% magnification is the same as when I was using the 1280x800 screen resolution.
I have tried entering Command-Plus to magnify the displayed mail message, it actually increases the font size in the message rather than magnifying the message and keeping the font the same.
Is there another way I can magnify just the displayed message without magnifying the whole desktop/screen?
    Thanks in Advance.
    Jeff Cameron

Yes, setting the monitor to the default resolution, it does look fine. But for applications like Word, Pages, Preview and many other when you set the display zoom magnification to 100.00 regardless of the screen resolution the text seems normal, but in Mail, there is no screen zoom magnification, and so the higher the screen resolution, the smaller the text in composed and received messages is.

GFS Didot is nearest listed MUSE font in appearance to Adobe Caslon Pro, which is the font used in the book which the website is intended to promote.  I would like to use Adobe Caslon Pro (I paid for it and it's on my computer, but not in the cloud). Is there any way to install Adobe Caslon Pro as a MUSE font choice in the cloud?

The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.
Try the Default FullZoom Level extension: <br />
