E61 not new receiving email

Hi,
I have a user with an E61 setup to use POP/SMTP yahoo email. Up until Saturday, everything was working fine. Now he can send email fine, but not receive. All settings are the same.
Any ideas?

#1: Get the Internet access point settings from your network operator. (If you have problems with this step, start a new discussion topic/thread.)
#2: Get the email account details from your email service provider (username & password, POP3 or IMAP4 server name, SMTP server name, any particularities regarding security settings, port numbers, etc). Note: You might have to use your network operator's SMTP server for sending, instead of the email provider's SMTP server (if they are different, and if your operator has prevented access to other SMTP servers than their own).
#3: In the Messaging app on the phone, hit "Options" (or whatever it is in Italian), choose "Settings", then "E-mail" and finally "Mailboxes". Create a new mailbox using the access point name from step #1 and the details from #2.
#4: Now your mailbox is usable and you should be able to send/receive email.

It sounds like you are not getting the email to reset your password. If you have a rescue email setup for your Apple ID, the reset password email will be sent there and not your Apple ID email address:

I am not able receive emails from different domain, but i am able to get my self in same domain.

I am not able receive email from different or external domain. But i am able send the emails to other domain, i can see that i receive. here is the problem if i reply to that email . i am not able receive .
I have checked the Receive connectors In the Default forntend connector , Anonymous user was checked in permission groups.
Can any one help me to get this issue resolve.

Notification on E61 whenever new Outlook email

Hi,
I use my Nokia E61 quite a lot. I am a consultant, therefore I often work with two computers, one belonging to the client company and one being mine. My own laptop is, of course, mostly on Screensaver-mode because I only use it to contact with my colleagues and company systems. The tricky thing about this is that I don´t notice when I receive a new email or Skype message while the laptop is on Screensaver mode, so I have to activate it regularly just to check.
Wouldn´t it be possible to configure my E61 so that it connects via Bluetooth to the laptop and beeps every time a new Outlook email arrives? Since synchronisation with Outlook is possible, that should be possible too, no?

Yes, you can. In the Human Task, there is a Notification tab that allows you to configure when you want to send notification emails. In order for Notification emails to work, you will need to setup the User Messaging Service for your environment and also turn on Email notifications on your SOA server by right clicking on your SOA server and selecting SOA Administration/Workflow Notification Properties. You will need to restart the SOA server.

8330 curve will not STOP receiving email

I cannot get the options working correctly on the desktop manager. My blackberry still receives email if it is connected to my computer (and i have the correct box checked in the options). Also, if i shut down the redirector and manger all together, i still get all my emails. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the blackberry manager, and the problem persists. I would like to be able to not get my email at times, but cannot get it to work correctly. Can anyone offer any help? Thanks in advance.
BTW.... i am using it for work and personal email.

What version OS do you have on the phone. Check under Options | About. Will be listed as v4.x.x.xxx.

Not been receiving emails for 2/3 days - this is only affecting 1 user on this iMac

I have checked 'connection doctor' returns "connection and login to server succeeded" find it odd that all is OK on another user, same Mac and on other devices!

After reviewing your post, it sounds like the mail account is working with other devices. So it sends emails but not receive them on this one iMac user? I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.

Since there does not seem to be a connection issue there may be an issue with the account in Mail. One thing that can be done is remove and readd the account.

Remove an account
When you remove an email account from Mail, the account’s messages are deleted and no longer available on your Mac. Copies of messages remain on the account’s mail server and are still available (from webmail, for example).
Important: If you’re unsure whether messages you want to keep are still on the mail server, move or copy them into a mailbox stored on your Mac (the mailbox appears in the On my Mac section in the Mail sidebar) before you delete the account in Mail.
Choose Mail > Preferences, then click Accounts.
Select an account, then click Remove .

Email sends with 1.7 MB pdf attachment but Recipient does not always receive, not consistent.

Your cfform tag needs to be:

enctype="multipart/form-data">
The "multipart" stuff primes the browser to send files.

Blackberry Z10 not sending/receiving emails or able to browse when connected to WiFi only via mobile network?

I have today moved from Windows Mobile device to BB Z10 and am hvaing difficutlies as cannot send/receive emails or browse when connected to work WiFi and only works via mobile network. WiFi works absolutely fine with all other devices including my previous Windows mobile but am concerned that nothing works when I connect to work WiFi as trying to keep data usage to a minimum.
Emails are coming in via Exchange Activesync in case that makes a difference and was only able to get that working when turned WiFi off when setting up as well.
Please help as mobile signal poor at home and have to rely on WiFi connections to get emails and essential i get them as cover a security support queue.........

Torch not displaying received emails the following day

Hi,
I need help please. My Torch will not show me emais that I have received, they drop out of my inbox generally the next day.
In Message Display and Actions the option Days To Keep Messages is set to Forever.
I am confused! Any ideas?

Are you by any chance deleting these emails from a email server, PC or website email login screen elsewhere?

I can not send/receive email via Icloud

Go to System Preferences>iCloud, turn Mail off, restart your Mac and turn Mail back on.

I'm not receiving email on my iPad

I have not been receiving email on my iPad 4 WiFi for a few days. I can send, but I can't receive. I have a Yahoo-based account, and my email is working fine on my iPhone 3GS.
Not sure what the deal is. I deleted and restored the account, and it didn't fix the problem.

Got another question tho, I transferred all my iTunes to my new laptop but my iPhone won't sync to it. Gets to stage 1 then finishes. I can't get to the menu to select which music/artists or apps I want to send to my phone. I can do it all on the old laptop but not the new. I de-authorized the old lap top but that didn't help.

Mail not receiving emails with attachments

I'd appreciate any suggestions in relation to the following.
My wife and I both run computers from the one account, Mail on her PowerBook logging in through my name and password. Until recently, we have had no problems at all. However, it has come to light that my wife has not been receiving emails with attachments for some time. To test this, my wife sent an email with an attachment to her home email address from work, and copied it to me. I received the email and the attachment on my PC; my wife's Mac did not receive the email. I then forwarded the email with the attachment to her computer; this was successful. This would suggest some problem with her Mail account on the Mac. However, the configuration has not been changed. Is it possible for it just to stop working for some reason?

I'm using a PC for my email at the moment. I'm not sure if all my wife's emails have been downloaded. However, Mail has made a Home/Mail/MessageUidsAlreadyDowloaded file. This was created when I sent an email to test what happened. I was unable to make Mail download all her emails, so I guess they must have gone from the server. She has a different email address to mine, but it's run from the same ISP account; as I said, she logs in, automatically, through Mail to her email. I have contacted the ISP about it, but they are unable to see any trace of emails that colleagues have sent my wife and which she sends home to herself. All of these files happen to have attachments, but I cannot see any setting of Mail which would account for them being rejected. Also, I can't be entiurely sure that only emails with attachments don't get through; there may be others, 'unattached'.

Outlook2010 cannot receive email replies to email I send out

I moved to new computer and loaded office 2010. I can send emails and I can receive email sent to me. If I send out an email to which I expect a reply, the reply will not be received and is sent an error message that the box is full. I tested this
with another email account I have and received the message after replying to a test message I sent. help

If you're receiving new email and it's only the reply emails which are receiving the error message, have you checked that in your account settings that you've configured the email address correctly? Eg you're not inadvertently receiving email to one alias
while sending it as another. Using POP3, the from address is based on what you enter in the Outlook settings, not the configured email address of the account your sending from at the server end, so it's quite possible to end up sending from one and receiving
another.

Mail doesn't auto receive email

I just setup my mother-in-law's new iMac's email. It is setup to use imap and everything seems to working correctly. However, it will only receive email once Mail is closed (Quit) and reopened. It will not automatically receive email while it is open.
I have tried setting up the pop version of the email but it also does the same thing.
Anyone out there with any suggestions?

I've tried that, thus the reason of asking why it isn't working. I've also tried the manual "Get Mail" button. The only way that mail is recieved, is if Mail is Quit/closed and then reopened. Once reopened, all test emails start flooding in. Sending mail isn't an issue.
