    This is the situation:
    - mobile phone connected via USB cable: OK, I can use the modem
    - mobile phone connected via bluetooth: the modem is installed but it seems that the system cannot recognize it
    Any idea?

  • Help please! 6500Slide Modem not found???

I got my 6500Slide phone in July 2008.
For the past 8 months, I had successfully been using my phone as a modem on my Laptop.
Last week I upgraded my phone's software (from V04.85) to Version 09.40
Since then I can not use the Internet Connection on the PC Suite.
(It just reads: Modem not found!)
I have de-installed and re-installed the PC Suite, switched off my phone, took out the sim and tried to configure again, but nothing is working.
Has my modem been damaged or erased???
    Can I download a modem...??? ;-p
(Oh, PS - I can only use my USB connection, since my Laptop is not Bluetooth enabled!)

  • N80 modem not found

    Hi,
Can anyone assist as my nokia N80 connects via pc suite but does not find the modem. It finds everything else but the modem. When checking phone and modems in control panel only onboard modem found.Checked device manager no conflicts.Tried with bluetooth and ca-53,same result.
    Please assist

    My experience:
When the N80 is connected via bluetooth to a PC (Vista business) 4 additional bluetooth peripheral devices are installed. (Vista then tries to install drivers for these devices)
These can be seen under the heading "Other Devices" in Device Manager (Go to control Panel - select system Device Manager)
Delete these 4 devices, and then go back to nokia suite internet connection.
Bluetooth modem now appears and having picked the correct service provider a connection is established.
However, the 4 devices are reinstalled, requiring the deletion process detailed above, before a subsequent connection can be made.
    Not Ideal!!
I don't know whould be responsible for sorting this bug, Microsoft or Nokia?

  • T410 bluetooth device NOT FOUND

    Hello Everyone,
I have a t410, product id is 2539AJ6 (bluetooth included), running Windows 8.
however i can't get bluetooth to work, in addition it seems like there is no trace for a bluetooth device on this computer:
    - Can't install driver ("Device not found").
    - Not Recognized by Windows 8.
    - on BIOS, Security -> I/O Port blah blah -> no mention of bluetooth settings there.
where do i go from here? anybody ever encountered such an issue with bluetooth?
btw, im pretty sure there is a bluetooth device on this laptop.
    appreciate any help

Here's the Link for the 2539-AJ6, it does indicate that you have Bluetooth.  Dowload and install the latest drivers.

  • E71 Bluetooth connection Not found

I'm trying to connect my computer to my phone. When Ovi searches it finds my phone then when I click to connect it searches and seaches and tells me this:
"Bluetooth modem might need to be installed on your computer."
Then after awhile it says it failed to connect.
I'm able to send files from my computer to my phone using Bluetooth. But not when I'm in the Nokia Ovi Suite program.
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

i have same problem also. Toshiba Satellite A300 2D4 Windows 7 x64 SP1 Toshiba Bluetooh stack v.8.00.02 with Nokia Ovi Suite 3.0.0.290. There is no problem with PC Suite 7.1 but we cannot use the Nokia Maps on the PC Suite.

  • Bluetooth modem not working

    Dear all,
I am rather confident that this is a problem with my Windows XP box, but since it is appearing with my E90 communicator, it be best posted here!
The problem I have suddenly appeared (not for the first time, but this time uncurable). When connecting my laptop to the internet via the E90 using bluetooth, the One Touch Access software give the error
Failed to connect to the network! The modem may be used by another application or the modem may not be configured properly.
I tried the following to resolve this:
    - reboot both devices
    - reinstall pc suite
    - uninstall the modem drivers
    - change the modem port from 16 to 100
The system log tells me that
Das Öffnen des Modems ist fehlgeschlagen. Fehler: 00000079
(Failed to open the modem. Error 0*79).
Ah yes, of course everything works fine with USB. And, until a few days ago, the bluetooth modem also worked, but stopped working without me installing software or changing the system drastically.
    Any ideas?

    Hello,
I have the same problem with an E70 phone. I had PC Suite 6.86 installed, but that totally jammed the computer (Word and Excel files and My Computer took about 1 minute to open. After uninstalling PC connectivity solution and Nokia PC Suite the problem was "solved").
I downgraded to version 6.84 which made the computer respond normally again, but now I get this error when trying to connect GPRS (or 3G...)
"The modem (or other connecting device) is already in use or is not configured properly."
Also, all calendar and concat items are now doubled in the phone.. help me Nokia!
Anyone has any solution for the bluetooth modem thing? I use the number *99# to connect to the phone modem via bluetooth.

    Hello all -
I found a solution to this by using Bluetooth Explorer. I had previously tried this and it didn't work, however I realized that I was using an old version of Bluetooth Explorer! When I downloaded the newest version from apple, it worked like a charm and I was able to select which Bluetooth adapter I wanted to use. Switched it over to the USB dongle and it works perfect now. No more skipping mouse, woo hoo!

  • Bluetooth adapter not found

    Hi,
I've been using bluetooth (installed accordingly to wiki). Now after few days I wanted to send some files and suddenly it's not working and in system settings I've got notification, that Bluetooth adapter isn't found.
Looks like it's disabled by hardware but the laptop has only button to disable both WLAN and Bluetooth, but WLAN is working properly. I've also done some searching in BIOS if there isn't something that might fix it, but unsuccessfully, e.g. in Windows 7 it's working and as I mentioned above it has been working in Arch as well.
Anybody idea how to fix this?
    Thanks for your help.

  • [SOLVED] Bluetooth adapter not found

Hello all, I'm new to Arch (but a long time Debian user).
I managed to get everything working, except for bluetooth (BCM2045B, integrated, worked fine with Debian).
lsusb shows the same bus/devices I see in Debian, but the BCM2045B is missing. Gnome-bluetooth, bluez, bluez-utils, bluez-firmware are installed, kernel is 3.14.6-1.
    Things I've tried:
    - hcitool scan returns "Device is not available: No such device"
    - hcitool dev returns "devices: <blank>"
    - systemctl status bluetooth returns "active/running" (I tried to force a restart just to be sure)
    - installing bluez-hid2hci didn't help
    - output of: lsmod | grep blue
    bluetooth 352625 5 bnep
    6lowpan_iphc 11556 1 bluetooth
    rfkill 15971 4 cfg80211,thinkpad_acpi,bluetooth
    crc16 1359 2 ext4,bluetooth
    I would appreciate any help.

Nevermind, I just found the solution was to put the following commands in my startup script:
    rfkill unblock 0
    hciconfig hci0 up
(for some reason soft-unblocking won't survive a reboot).

  • Bluetooth Radio not found after Standy in Windows XP

I am running Windows XP SP3 with Boot Camp in my Core2Duo MacBook Pro (late 2006). I use an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse with my system. When I initially boot into XP, both devices work fine. When I put the system in standby mode, however, it seems it no longer can find the radio once the system wakes back up. My device no longer connect, and when I try and add a device again, the system shows no known devices, and when i tell it that the device is ready to be found, I immediately get a message that no Bluetooth radio can be found. A restart solves the problem, since I often use the unit while traveling, it's a pain to have to restart each time to use an external mouse.
    Any suggestions?

I think many have this problem, us included. Only way to get Mighty Mouse & Keyboard back is to repower by flipping the switches -- not user friendly in the least.
