Hello Lynksys im using older model and havent gotten around to buying a new wireless router, i was wondering is i do decide to get a newer model will my site be in english. currently i have the site in german and it will not for the love of my life translate to english?( i am in United States should my site be in german when i put in the default IP address?) Could this have been a problem in installment?

Hi! There are actually two ways on how to change the language for your router. It's either thru the setup cd or going thru the link where you can change it. If you're going to use the cd, you will have to run it again and you should be presented with an option to change the language. If you don't have it anymore, you may just go to http://192.168.1.1/language.htm, it should let you change the language. Cisco 7937G reboot always after upgrade language pack

I have an UC560 and I upgrade the Software Pack to 8.1 and change Language Pack to French.
I connect Phones SPA5xx and it's fine.
With cisco 7937G it reboot always.
The last one with another UC540 I enter in conf t and enter this command line :

Now it's not working.

I enter the no create cnf and create cnf, I wait 30 seconds / 1 minute and the 7937 start good.
I have the menu I can make a call.
I unplug 7937 and plug-it again and it reboot again again like before.

Language pack had changed in my n70 after firmware...

Hello. I have updated my nokia n70 to newest version with NSU and my language pack has changed. Before the update I had polish language and now I have English and I can't change language to polish in phone settings menu (Now those languages are available: English, French, German, Turkish, Italian and Dutch).
What should I do? Is there any possibilty to change language back to polish?

Your N70 has the same language-package as mine: EURO2; I'm afraid, that your N70 was "grey-imported" from one of those countries! NSU looks for the production-code of your N70, which is I think 0523987 (can be found under the battery)!

well let me just tell you before you yell at me for being grumpy and difficult that I have been to 6 different places in this city of 20 million and not ONE person in any Nokia center was able to help me with an additional language pack. they just say "can't do it" and that's it. I get the pointthat normally you'd not get a seldom used language pack on a phone sold on a different continent, but you should be able to get what language you need, at extra cost even, no problem, but SHOULD BE ABLE TO get it. SHOULD being the operative word!

Can I change the language pack?

I have Nokia 1600 and would like to change the language pack there. Can I do it myself with Nokia sofrware updater? The price for this operation in the service centre is almost the same as the price of the phone itself!

not sure but i might suggest going to the site where that is the dominant language and you may be able to get the language from that firmware but i wouldn't suggest it as you may valid your warranty or wreck your phone.

Problem installing Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 Multilingual User Interface Language Packs

I downloaded Windows6.1-KB2483139-x64-en-US.exe but when I ran it on my Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 (as Administrator) it does not run properly. I noticed it created a new cabinet file named "lp" briefly, then deleted it. Nothing else
appears on the screen.
My goal is to install Chinese display fonts on my server. Please help.

First of all, if you want Chinese display language, you need to choose chinese in the drop down list on the download page. Here's a direct link in case you need it.

Windows6.1-KB2483139-x64-zh-CN.exe is the file name for the Chinese simplified language pack.
1. The exefile extracts the file cabinet lp.cab which is the file you need to import the language pack.
2. Start lpksetup.exe and Point out the cab-file you just extracted.
If you want to do it with cmdline, you can do it with dism in an elevated command prompt as well:
Dism /online /Add-Package /PackagePath:C:\test\lp.cab
Note that you still need to create a policy or change default language in some way for your users.

I need to be able to type in Arabic on my macbook. I figured out how to change my typing language into Arabic but as soon as I type a word into a word document, I hit the space bar and it moves all the letters around. I was told by the help desk at my university it is because I do not have a "language pack" installed - whatever that means.

No version of MS Word for OS X has ever supported Arabic, Hebrew, or any Indic script. You must use another app. Mellel is the best. Also TextEdit, OpenOffice, Nisus Writer.

Windows 8.1 Install Language Packs Offline

I am looking for some kind of documentation or guide on creating a language pack package, and adding it to the task sequence for deploying Windows 8.1. I have the language pack Cab file, and a custom HTA for creating a variable that I know works, but
I cannot get the language pack to actually install. I read another post that suggested the location in the task sequence to put the "Install Language Packs offline" just before the "Setup Windows and ConfigMgr" but it is not working.
The task sequence does complete successfully, but the LP is not installed. I have a base Windows 8.1 Pro customized image. I am using SCCM 2012 R2 with MDT 2013.
The package only contains the Cab file, and doesn't have any programs associated with it.
Any help is appreciated.

Change language in 3.5?

I've received a version of FCE 3.5 in French, but wondered if there was any way of changing the language it uses to English (perhaps through a language pack?) If not, is there any way I can get hold of an English copy and re-use the licence without having to buy an English copy (assuming I can find one)?

Yes, if your mac is set the english, select FCE icon in applications folder and use COMMNAD-I to get infos windows. From this point, uncheck the french language (and others if you want) and keep english one.
FCE will be opened in english on the next launch.

Change language in Acrobat XI Pro - It does not work

I installed Acrobat XI Pro using the Adobe Application Manager (AAM) on Windows 7, English. I am on a Creative Cloud subscription, so i have no .exe file to install from.
Acrobat XI Pro defaults the Application Language to English when installing from AAM since Windows is an English version. I want Acrobat XI Pro in Swedish language.
If i go to Acrobat's Preferences > Language and change the Application Language from English to "Choose at application startup" i never get the dialog that should provide me with the option to change language when i re-launch Acrobat XI Pro. If i hold down Shift-Ctrl when launching Acrobat XI Pro i don't get that dialog either.
I see the same issue on three computers, two with Win 7 and one with Win 8. Both OS versions are English.
So, how do i change the Application Language from English to Swedish?

In case anyone else run into the same issue, here is the solution:
1. Add remove programs -> Select Acrobat
2. Then click on Change button present next to Uninstall option. Acrobat setup dialog will be launched.
3. Now select Modify option in Acrobat setup dialog
4. In the dropdown list select View Adobe PDF
5. Select the desired language support
6. Install the required language packs
When i did, i got the dialog that let me change the language next time i launched Acrobat XI.

Adobe Reader language pack mapping

Hi all, I use Reader 10.1.4 in WIN7. The PDF has many text labels in font type Myriad Pro.
I have a PDF which allows users to select language of current page, English, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, Korean and Japanese. The text labels of different languages are dynamically generated using scripts in variables.
Initially, when I change the page from English to simplified Chinese, it should ask me to download simplified Chinese font pack. However, PDF pops up a warning and asks me to download Japanese language support pack. Like this:
By clicking on OK, it opens the Jp pack download page (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4881) in the web browser.
After downloading this pack (it installs 2 files, KozGoPr6N-Medium and KozMinPr6N-Regular in Reader DIR/Resource/CIDFont), I open the PDF and select Chinese again. This time it asks for simplified Chinese language support pack and take me to this page (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4883).
Same thing happens when I try to select traditional Chinese. PDF directs me to download JP pack first, and second time direct to CN pack download page.
If the page is switched to Korean, PDF directs me to the correct Korean pack page.
I wonder why it goes to download JP, when I only need CN language pack. What is the mapping between the language of my page and the language pack downloaded from Adobe? Is there any way to correct this kind of mis-mapping?
This is a critical issue, and the client is adamant on it. So I’ll be grateful if you could look into it. If this is indeed an Adobe reader issue, then how can I contact Adobe technical support group?

I asked before but I don't think you answered, how the languages are made on the page. I'm going to assume the answer is "they are form fields".
If so, I believe the problem is Han Unification. This, a deliberate part of the design of Unicode, makes it impossible to tell to which language some characters belong. If the FIRST character in a field is a unified han character, Acrobat must guess the language. I think it is especially likely to guess wrong if. Perhaps you could try adding some non-unified character first.
