E61i holux m-1000 gps antenna does not work

I've bought a Holux M-1000 antenna to be used with my E61i and Nokia Maps but does not work
Antenna work perfectly connected to a Laptop and on the mobile is correctly associated BUT when from nokia map I push '0' it is not discovered
My mobile has Sw version 2.0633.65.01
do not tell me works only with nokia original antennas....

Well folks...
My experience is somewhat different. I bought a Holux m-1000 and I have an e61i, exactly the same firmware as listed here.
I could get the e61i to see the gps first time it was paired up and then subsequently it lost signal (this is using the internal Nokia navigator apps). No joy in getting connection after this, and yes the positioning setting and BT was applied correctly.
SO, I then figured that maybe it was some setting on my phone, so I re-flashed the phone again to clear everything down. No joy. I even took out the memory card to ensure nothing unknown could cause the issue. And then I did it again to make sure I hadn't cocked up.
Now, because all the freeware like Nokia Maps, sports tracker, MGMaps, GoogleMaps etc uses the shared Nokia bluetooth stack, NONE of these applications work.
However, fortunately the one application I have bought to do navigation (Route 66 v7/Europe) DOES work because it doesn't use the flaky Nokia Bluetooth stack. It works very well, and demonstrates the power of the Holux which is amazingly good at getting a fix, even indoors I get an eight satellite fix which is better than my standalone Garmin GPS! And the route 66 software is currently available cheap from a number of shops. Only issue with this that I can see is that the maps are a bit vintage (2005)!
So, I figured the next best thing to do would be to get my hands on the Nokia product standalone GPSs, as of course you would expect a Nokia product to eliminate any possible glitches. So, I went down the Nokia flagship store in Regent St., London, today and got them to check out the phone, and we paired up the Nokia gps device with the e61i okay, and then ... it behaved exactly like the Holux. The Nokia guys could not figure it out, and we probably spent half an hour working on it.
As far as we could determine, although the GPS positioning software is provided by Nokia on the phone they haven't actually tested it because they didn't expect any customer to actually want to use a GPS with this device.
So, moral of the story, don't bother using either a Nokia or Holux GPS with the e61i for navigation unless you plan on going the Route66 way. As this phone is now end of life, I wouldn't expect to see any further upgrades to fix the BT stack, which is a shame as in every other respect I love it!

It has been posted before, but I'll post again in case anyone has found a solution.
I am using an external device (XGPS150) to provide GPS to my Ipod Touch 4G. It worked great with iOS 5. It does not work reliably with iOS 6. I have to turn off and then turn on location services, and occasionally reboot the iPod to make it work. I have tried using iOS 6, 6.01, and 6.1 Beta 3, and the problem is present in all version. I wish Apple would fix the problem.

Ipod 4g does not work with gps mount anymore, with iOS lower than 6.0.1 it worked

After updating my iPod to iOS 6.0.1 and 6.1 my gps mount does not work anymore. It used to work perfectly.
Have checked with a TomTom app if satelites are connected and it has good connection but navigation app does not work.
All advices given in the community did not help so far.

TS1702 When I update to IOS6 on my 4S Facebook does not work properly, the news feed never updates it only says no new storeys and shows a picture of an antenna. When I reset my phone and go back to IOS5 Facebook works fine. What's up with IOS6 ????

After importing images from my card using LR 5.4, the GPS data does not show in the metadata panel. However, when I look at the imported images using Bridge, the GPS data is visible. Anybody know why LR is not seeing the GPS data? Camera is Canon 6D.

Ok, the issue seem to be solved. The problem was this:
The many hundred files (raw and xmp per image) have been downloaded by ftp in no specific order. Means - a couple of files in the download queue - both raw and xmps. Most of the time, the small xmp files have been finished loading first and hence the "last change date" of these xmp files was OLDER than the "last change date" of the raw file - Lightroom then seem to ignore the existence of the xmp file and does not read it during import.(a minute is enough to run into the problem)
By simply using the ftp client in a way that all large raw files get downloaded first followed by the xmp files, we achieved that all "last changed dates" of the xmp files are NEWER than the related raw files. (at least not older)
And then LR is reading them and all metadata information has been set / read correctly.
So this is solved.

Parked document 1000 700010042 2010 does not exist, Message no. FP076

Hi,
There is one Document which is not on tax return but made a entry in a GL account (VAT).
When I display document from FB03 for fiscal year 2010 the transaction code FB03 is diverting to FBV3 and giving error message : "Parked document 1000 700010042 2010 does not exist" "Message no. FP076"
I also checked the tables "BSEG" & "BKPF" where this document is visible to me also I checked the GL line items from FBL3N for the VAT GL where this document is showing in line items report, but when i double clik to display this documents again am getting screen of FBV3 with the same error message.
can any one let me know what could be the problem? and how to resolve this issue?

Addition to the above information ... there are 3 line items are there in this document 1 - K (Vendor), 2 - S (GL).
The strange thing I can see is against 1st line item (K-Vendor) there is a clearing document updated.
So if there is a clearing document against vendor line that means this document is no more in parking ...
I am not sure why system is performing like this...
Can anyone help me on this ....

I am new one to the circuit world.
MY project is electric field measurement in thunderstorm. So I have plat plate antenna working as big capacitor and I need amplifier with high gain 500-1000) to amplify the signal I create the circuit but the problem is when I create in real world it does not work
Other problem is to reduce the DC offset I put the high pass filter for every end of the op amp output. So according to the theory its cut of frequency is about 212 MHz (calculation some time may be I am wrong) but I just need to reduce the DC offset my frequency range is (1 KHz to 50 MHz) how can possible to pass this frequency in my op amp circuit.
Please give me any suggestion

1. Are C1 and C2 really 15 farad capacitors?
2. What is the estimated capacitance of the antenna?
3. What is the expected electric field and rate of change of the field at the antenna/capacitor? What kind of waveshape do you expect from real lightning and what are you using from XFG1 for simulation?
4. What are the input and output impedances of XBP1? It looks like you have two outputs connected together - XBP1 and U4.
5. You have pins 8 of the OPA6951 connected to VEE. What voltage is connected to VEE? The data sheet says Disable pin is usually left open for normal amplifier operation. It also says the typical enable voltage is 3.3 V.

Hdmi does not work

I am trying to hook up a logitech revue unit to my hitachi hdtv. It requires an hdmi input. When we first got fios, (qip 6200 p2 stb), no amount of fiddling with cables, settings and what not got hdmi to work. After much frustration, etc. said to hell with it and went with component output. Worked fine. Now I need hdmi. TV keeps saying "no video signal. " Tried all three hdmi tv ports and tried all tv input option settings. No go. It did come on intermittently , but only after an un-acceptable delay. Yes! I did disconnect the component outputs before trying the HDMI. have rebooted and resetted the world to no avail. According to the various forums, this Motorola hdmi fiasco has been ongoing for almost three years. I want a fix, ASAP. Or at least a reliable date for a fix. BTW I am an EE+ computer science engineer. I've tried the entire customer service 101 stuff so please don't tell me to change my cables.

As I said in my posting, I am a professional. I would not have bought the unit had I not seen the logitech listing of compatible STB. Also, be assured that I have hooked it up correctly. There does not appear to be any way to do it wrong.
1. STB hdmi OUT to Revue hdmi IN
2. Revue HDMI OUT to TV HDMI IN Tried all three ports. NO Go.

Genius bar says possible faulty HD, but I suspect logic board. All checks out OK on the Apple Diagnostic bench. Can a Logic board go intermittant?? Any Ideas any body??

Ive repaired 1000s of laptops over the years (translate: diagnose and replace parts).
Its not that old, Ive owned 100s of laptops (most were free) ....some I still have are nearly 13 years old and still perfect, ....some extremely expensive ones died in under a year.
other than becoming obsolete at some point, there isnt really any "will spoil on" data like Milk for solid state computer parts, ....alas.
You can have a $5000 laptop die in 4 months, and a junker one keep kicking after 10 years.... Ive seen that firsthand countless times.
Common logic dictates that "very expensive = long life" in computers,..... but all the repair people will tell you just the opposite.
I know you have a gripe, I get that all too well honestly .

Can i get my money back if an app does not work?

I purchased GPS Philippines on I tunes. It does not work. (neiter on I phone nor on IPad mini) No map is showing. The assistance button leads to a webpage that does not exist. The only thing I know is the name of the maker, a Mr. Jing Li.
Since I was sold a product that does not work and no support is available, I want my money back. How can I proceed?

My internet (only at home) does not work anymore with kernel 2.6.27. at university it works just fine. isn't that funny
it has something to do with packet sizes interestingly enough... because i can ping "the internet" (i.e. kernel.org) just fine at home but wget kernel.org fails. ping -s 1000 fails as well, so it's probably really related to packet size.
I use DSL which has a strange value for MTU i heard, but it works just fine with lower kernel versions. I am a bit lost by now...
Btw: it's actually not arch-patch-related, so sorry for posting this here (i already mailed it to the lkml) but i thought maybe there are people here who are interested in strange problems

Ok, I downgraded again, very carefully & rebooted to an internet working as it should be.
Sorry for throwing some confusion on the matter, I had, had a very long day with an Arch install that went wrong(!) the day before & must have been brain addled when downgrading yesterday.
I will now have another look at the machine that's install is stuck & see if I can understand why, with my new found knowledge.

Export Parameters in Parameterized Message Mapping does not work.

I have a question: how to use an EXPORT parameter in Parameterized Message Mapping? seems it does not work...
(I use XI / PI 7.1)
For example, I have a follow scenario: a large message comes to XI from one BS (message contains a lot of rows), then this large message splits to some small messages (something about 1000 rows in one small message), and send small messaeg one by one from XI to second BS. So, after receive step I use a transformation step with Parameterized Message Mapping to get a total amount of rows in large message (it needs for making condition for loop in IP, for example). I want to use an EXPORT parameter to pass this number from Parameterized Message Mapping to Integration Process. How can I do it?
Of course, I know the way to how to make this scenario without any parameterizing, but I want to use exactly "Parameterized Message Mapping" like it writes in this help:

This topic contains something about procedure how to use an EXPORT parameter, but this procedure does not work. I don't understand how to write this UserDefined Function, which I can set any export parameters.

It still does not works.
Great thanks for all your answers! If your advice works on your PI-server, it means that my problem not in UDF.
Step by step:
1) I create in "Signature" tab two parameters: FILE_NAME, FILE_TYPE (of course, they both Export and xsd:string type)
2) Then, I goes to "Functions" tab and create new function "testUDF" with one argument var1.
3) In body of this UDF insert 2 strings:
getOutputParameters.setString("FILE_NAME" , "Order");
getOutputParameters.setString("FILE_TYPE" , "PDF");
4) in "Definition" tab I bind function "Local.testUDF" with one field in my input message and goes to "Test" tab for testing.
5) And then I have a message window "Problems While Testing":
