E63 Home Screen Issue

I have E63 and I have opted for the active screen option. Till yesterday, the calendar events would show or it would show No events scheduled for today. Suddenly the calendar notification on standby by screen disappeared. In the Tool-> Modes-> Enabled applications Organiser and To Do are selected, what is the issue?

my ipad2 started acting strange after i upgraded to io6. It now display alternating the apple start screen and home screen (blinking).

See if this helps at all. If not, you may have to restore your iPad.

Home screen issues

First off i had the motorola droid before and now have the droid x so im not new to Android. My problem is i downloaded ADW and it took over my home button. I have checked settings/mange applications/ADW to clear the defaults but it said it didn't have any. So i hit home key again expecting to see the box that says complete using and giving me the option between stock home and ADW but it didn't come up and just sent me ADW without having a default set. So i downloaded lockbot which can also bind to the home button. So when i hit home now i am given the choice between ADW and lockbot but not the stock home. It's like it is not registering stock home as an application. I want the choice to go back to the stock home screen when i push home button. But knowing i don't want lockbot to use the home button i told it to remember ADW every time i hit home but as soon as i lock then unlock the phone it has erased that default. I know other people are not having this problem so i know something isn't going right

Try the Home Switcher app... it can be found on the android market place. I'm using it right now.

HT1338 Home Screen Issue

On my home screen there are two back rounds. Normally there is the home screen and the other screen with calculator and such. When all of apps are closed there is still an extra home screen if I pan right. Please help me.

You described in the Original Post that you were "panning right".
I read this that you were seeing the animation move Left to reveal more on the Right - as you say "As if there was a Full Screen App present there"
I wondered if it could be an app that might have several windows that could be open such a Messages that was displaying the Interface/Chat window and Buddy list
Putting this is Full Screen mode only moves the Messages window itself to the "right" and then it cannot be closed in the normal way (minimise or the Red or Amber Buttons as the button disappear and the Minimise option does not work.)
You also say you believe all apps to be closed according to the DOCK.
As the Messages window can be closed and Buddy Lists left in view I tried it this way.
The Option in the View Menu (CTRL+ CMD +F) is greyed out and no longer works.
It would also be displayed in the DOCK.
This would seem to suggest that an item that runs without an icon in the DOCK has somehow been given Full Screen Status
I would try a PRAM reset.
Shut down the computer.
Restart it holding down Apple/CMD ( or ⌘)+ALT( ⌥)+P+R Keys until you have heard three Start Up Bongs.

New Software issues (no iMessage & home screen issues)

I updated today, however, I don't have imessage and the camera button is not on my home/lock screen. Should I try reupdating it? I want all of the awesome new features!!!

Try reading the manual... it addresses both issues.

Issue in usability of Microsoft lumia 535 - Behavior of Key '- ' , on bottom right corner of home screen, is ambiguous.

I am new to this forum. And I may have incorrectly raised my concern here - over the usability aspect 'Microsoft lumia 535' mobile phone. Please help - to forward my concern to the correct forum in that case.
I faced issue in using the key '->' on bottom right corner of phone's home screen (scroll down on the home screen to use the key). Clicking the key '->' should ideally take to the screen to it's right where all the applications are listed. As per known
behavior of earlier phones of the lumia series like 630,525 etc.
However, the behavior is ambiguous, sometimes the click on '->' takes to its right screen, and sometimes it refreshes the home screen. And sometimes there is no impact of the click. The behavior is thus improper and provides bad experience in using it.
Earlier I thought this defect is specific to the phone I purchased, but further I analyzed other 'Microsoft lumia 535' - and the same issue was observed in all the other pieces of lumia 535.
Please let me know, if it is issue and is already known, or if the behavior is intentional then what is the reason for the same?

Is there anyone having an issue with the apple tv when selecting music from the home screen?

Is there anyone in the community having an issue playing music from the home screen of the apple tv? When selecting the music app my apple tv restarts. If anyone else is having the same issue and has corrected the problem please share the solution.

E63-1, 410.21.010 Nokia programmers, please enhance the home screen (I use Active home screen) by providing current date below the current time. Currently, the space below the current time is blank. It would be useful if I can see: --------------- Current Time. Current Day. Current Date-Month. Current Year. --------------- This should be in relatively big font. My iPhone 6 is randomly clicking on links in apps and clicking on things on my home screen all by itself. Has anyone else had this issue?

i've been noticing that while I'm on apps such as Facebook or Instagram that my phone will start clicking on people's profiles, liking posts, or clicking links unprovoked. I thought maybe it was a problem with the apps, but I started noticing it happening whike sending a text the phone will click on suggested words by itself, and even if I'm just on the home screen apps will open on their own. Is anyone else having this issue? I've restarted the phone several times and the problem seems to have gotten worse. I don't know what's going on.

Restore the phone as new and see if the issue persists.
This is typical of a phone with a bad touch screen so you may need to bring it in for service.

Safari/Mail icon home screen reset moving issue

I ran into an interesting issue earlier today when I was resetting the home screen layout of my iphone 4S. I attempted to move the safari and mail app icons out of the bottom tray (while the icons were "wiggling") and for some reason they would not come out. I hit the home button to stop the icon wiggling and attempted to move them again. No go. The phone and message icons moved out without an issue, but safari and mail would not.
I shut the iphone off and turned it back on and re-attempted it. This time it worked.
How come I am unable to take and move those two icons off that bottom bar right after doing a home screen reset? Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Thanks for the swift reply, I have been looking online and a loose plug seems to be somewhat of an issue with many, I hope mine is actually a problem and not what others are experiencing. It's taken me this long to even reach out for the simple fact I HATE being a complainer but this is just horrible.
Do you have an iPad 3 as well? And is yours not experiencing any issues close to mine?

Problem issue dialing from home screen

When I am on my home screen and want to dial a number, that isn't in my contacts, I have to enter the first number twice. Example: when I hit 6, it goes to the search page and lists all contacts under F, but when I continue dialing, it completely omits the 6. Hence, why I have to enter the first number twice.

I am having an issue where safari keeps crashing and returning to the home screen on an ipad1

safari on my ipad1 keeps crashing and returning to the home screen. rebooting does not fix the problem neither has a full reset through itunes from a backup or setting up as a new machine. Cab nay body help?

If restoring from a backup doesn't help, you must have something corrupt in the backup - like a Safari bookmark perhaps - or something in the Safari history. Try the last tip in this list first.

Close Safari and all apps. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus (-) sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Cache. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
