@dulyzura
It is referring to amount of available free phone memory to process request. you may need to clear browser cache, have too many applications installed upon device or need to clear emails.

  • Memory Full. Delete some data

I am trying to delete some data because of the message I get when switching on my Nokia 3230.
The message says : "Home Screen: Memory insufficient. Delete some data first"
However, I cannot access the MENU/File Manager/Options by pressing the Menu key.
    Any ideas?! Many thanks.

If the phone is unusable then unfortunately the only options you have are a hard reset or a trip to a nokia care point.  Both will result in the total loss of all data and content that you have added to the phone.
    Hard reset:
    1. Switch off the phone.
    2. Hold down the following three buttons: Green (the call answer button), * button, and '3' button.
    3. While holding these buttons, hold the power button for a second to switch on the phone.
    4. Release when the phone shows the nokia hands logo or shows other signs of life like the language selection screen.
It may take a few attempts and very flexible fingers.

  • App.Manager: Memory Full. Close some Applications ...

    Hello Frens,
i got an Irritating issue.  when i try to change
the SUITE SETTINGS for some Games in Settings - Installed apps. , i get the Issue "App.Manager: Memory Full. Close some Applications and Try Again."
I close all apps i have opened via JBAK Taskman and it shows free RAM as 51MB.
Still why i get the issue and i cant change via suite settings ?? any other way to change the Suite settings??

Which phone do you have. Assuming it not to be an S40 device.. you may try a Soft Reset by dialing *#7370# followed by the Security Code. Default code is 12345 unless changed by you. Be warned that the Reset will wipe all data from the phone memory so back-up before going for it. You will have to restore the data and MAY also have to re-install a few applications.

  • The window couldn't be opened because your computer is low on memory. Please close some windows and try again.

When attempting to reply to or forward email, or to compose a new message in Outlook OWA I receive the following error message: "The window couldn’t be opened because your computer is low on memory.  Please close some windows and try again."  This
occurs even if the web application is the only window open.
My operating system is Windows 7.

    Hello,
According to the error message, it should be a Windows issue.
Try OWA and see if we can send/receive email properly. If OWA works fine, I suggest we post this question to Windows 7 Forum below:

  • Nokia C5-03 Error: Memory full. Close some applica...

    Hi,
I purchased this phone mainly to use for Navigation and phone, but disappointed by the error shows up every time when you are in need while using Map.
I do not have any extra applications running other than it came with. I have closed all the running application which running map. Phone software and Map is upto date with version (V22.0.007 and 2.45 on map) Earlier versions also same problem. Currently the available memory shows 27.2 MB)
I tried all the solutions given in /t5/Hardware-Codes-and-Operator/Nokia-C5-03-SIM-memory-full-but-NO-SIM-MESSAGES/m-p/1260683#M25236, but no use. Same error.
Is there any way out other than choosing another phone and brand?

Moderator's notes: Post moved into it's own thread.

I am completely frustrated with this phone (Nokia C5-03). I originally wanted a smartphone but didn't want to buy the brand leader like everyone else so I thought I could rely on a Nokia.  I have had this phone for less than 12 months now and I have already done a full reset TWICE and have lost all of my information.  On both occasions when the memory problems starting occurring with the phone I tried to back up my info to my PC but the phone told me that I had "not enough memory to perform operation"!!!! I am now getting memory full messages every 10 minutes and the phone will do nothing for me.
There is nothing left on the phone to delete.  I had my email synched to the phone originally for about two weeks but had to get rid of it as it was slowing the phone down.  I never connect to the internet with the phone - I mean NEVER. In browsing the web for solutions I am constantly finding varied and interesting comments about clearing the cache via the web app (I cannot connect to the web on the phone now - NOT ENOUGH MEMORY TO PERFORM OPERATION) and connecting my phone to a PC and browsing the memory to find out what the "other files" are (NOT ENOUGH MEMORY TO PERFORM OPERATION) or even downloading software onto the computer, running this in the background as I connect phone to PC in order to clear the memory (NOT ENOUGH MEMORY TO PERFORM OPERATION).
I reiterate that I use the phone for nothing other than SMS and calls.  I had images on the phone but they are long gone. I have done two full resets to factory default settings and I'm facing another one and I am beyond frustrated. Please dont tell me to connect to my PC (see above) dont tell me to connect to web via phone (see above).  My phone memory is showing 22MB SIS applications (which I understand I cannot get rid off) and 46MB other files (WHY????) I reiterate that I do not (and now cannot) browse the web on the phone, I don't use e-mail on the phone, all I do is sms and calls.   WHY WHY WHY is my phone not working?  Is there anything to be done with this phone or do I put it out of its misery?

  • E75: Memory low, please delete some files from C: ...

    Hi all,
Yesterday I got new E75 with 100.48.78 firmware. Running for few hours fine, than at the evening I configured corporate Exchange email. Sync was long, but eventually it succided. In the morning I got several messages about low space, however when I check, only 200kB is used by messages, contacts, etc. Most - 72MB is "other". Browsing files gives you nothing to delete. I didn't installed any applications, just few ringtones and few bitmaps.
Forgot to mention - battery was full at the evening, and one bar left in the morning.
I called Nokia Care, they told me to do factory reset. OK, even if this will waste few more hours of my time. Now the phone is barely running, very slow, from startup it takes at least 5 mins to acquire network.
Any idea what root cause it might be? How to prevent it in the future?
I still can return the phone, but not for long, decision must be made within day or two.
    Any feedback appreciated.

Hi.. I have the same problem, but if I do restore factory default my costumized seting for my phone will be gone, there is another way to fix that problem... try to install slick application from http://www.lonelycatgames.com/?app=slick
    thanks for lonelycat team...
    This is a messengger application...
after you finish installation try to messege someone, in messege box press option and send a file...
voila.. you can see all the file and the structure of your phone memory.... but becarefull... you must know what file you can delete... to me delete file in the cache directory....
    good luck

  • Disk almost full, please delete some items?

I know what this message means but HOW do i delete the files?

In the Finder, drag unwanted and unnecessary files to the Trash, and then from the menu bar, choose Finder > Empty Trash. This action will permanently delete everything in the Trash from your hard drive.

  • E63 memory problem

    Hi all,,
my phone keeps telling me that memory full-please delete some data, every time i try to open inbox, or create new message, or opening an application,,
i've done several tips, such as :
    1. moving bulky files to pc/memory card
    2. change setting memory message to memory card
    3. deleting some unimportant and bluetooh messages
but it still 0 Kb memory free,,
when i moved sound clips, it did had some 35Mb free, but after i restarted it, the free memory down again to 0 Kb,,,
i don't have Y-browser to delete cache files, and obviously it cannot be installed because it has no free memory,,
i've tried backing up phone memory to my memory card which has 447Mb free memory, BUT just before the process finished, the message "not enough free space on memory card" (or something like that) appear,,,, whaaatt??? i mean, E63 internal phone memory only approx 128Mb, right?
oh, and i also have tried to connect my e63 with PC Suite, and go to backup option, and guess what, it can't even started because it has no memory left for the operation,,
i didn't want to lose my data, including messages and contacts,, what else can i do?
    thanks,,

have you tried a soft reset? turn off your phone, remove the battery for about a minute before turning it on again.

  • Nokia N73 Phone memory full.

    Hi,
I am using the N73. When ever i receive message or try to save contacts it shows a message -"Memory Full please delete some data". I deleted all data from Memory card, but when i check Phone Memory it shows 44MB in use. How do i clean my Phone memory?
    Please help.

memory maybe distributed between different categories that you may not of, not only user files. first of all check the memory distribution by checking the : menu > tools > memory manager > options > memory details.
if you have alot of messages stored on the phone memory , try to delete some, especially the ones that have attachments or you have recieved through bluetooth.
if you have applications or themes installed on the phone memory , remove these and reinstall on the memory card.

Yesterday it was gone, now the problem is back and it's not going away. I can't get into LifeBlog, it automatically closes because of the memory full error. I tried resetting the phone but it's still there.
How are you resetting your phone ?
I would advise you to use one of the two methods you can find in this post :
    /discussions/board/message?board.id=smartphones&message.id=4007
However please be aware that doing so will wipe ALL the data from your phone such as information in your calendar, contacts and so on.
In order to save your data you can use the PC Suite application to save and restore the data from your phone - this software can be found here :
    http://www.nokia.com/pcsuite
One thing to note is that as part of these diagnostics, you should NOT restore any backup or install any software on the phone as you could be putting the problem back onto the phone.
If this doesn't work then it's likely you have a hardware fault and you should approach your local Nokia Service Centre to get your phone fixed.
    Hope this helps.
Please let me know how you get on.
    Regards,
    Edward
