[E63] - unable to change volume using fn+scroll
Hi, Just got my E63 few days ago, and according to the tutorial, one can change the volume using Fn + Scroll Up/Down keys while on the home screen. It doesn't work.
anyone have this problem?
It's not working to me either, just for real player....
I don't think it's from the home screen, it's just from the settings...

I upgraded to iOS6 tonight on my 4s via wifi and noticed that I am unable to change the volume of music/calls/ringer/videos via the volume buttons and the volume slider does not appear in the music or video apps..I am aware that a similar issue is caused by a buildup of dust in the universal port but these functions were working fine before updating.
I've checked the restrictions part in General and volume limit has not been enabled)

After hanging up, I have full use of the volume buttons/music player and video slider

Volume button not working on my iPad. Have tried reset but still no joy. Also have checked that the mute function.
I have the same issue and I don't have a place to enter a user name. So how did you change your user name? This problem is only on my iPad it did not follow my iPhone. It happened right after updating to IOS 7.1.1 and now I can't use Facebook for anything on my iPad. I have not changed my login on Facebook. Very frustrated.

Change Volume using Slider Component
I am trying to use the slider component (aSlider) to control the volume of mySound which is a class called PlaySound. Created an addEventListener for aSlider with a SlideEvent.CHANGE executing a function called changeVolume. Everything else works but I can't seem to get the slider to control the volume of mySound. Unable to extend volume using free volume
mt system has 10GB of free space in it .... when i am trying to extend this free space in eme nd voludisk management only help and new simple volume option is coming....when i am choosing the new volume option and complete the whole procedure
than it showing a message that not enough space is available on the one disk ....... also one more thing a green strip covering this free space and disk c is coming ...so help me guys how to solve this problem

I just would like to confirm if you got OEM computer. And what tool did you use to extend the free space? The disk management in Windows 7 or other tools?
Please know that most new computers with OEM Windows pre-installs come with 4 partitions. Hard disks configured as basic disks are limited to 4 primary partitions or 3 primary partitions and 1 extended partition and multiple logical drives. And as such,
if you try to shrink the OS partition, you may find that you cannot create a 5th partition due to this limit.
There could be two possible solutions for this issue:
1.As the disk pre-configured by OEM may have conflicts with disk management tool in Windows, you should try some 3rd party tool to repartition the disk.
2.You may try to delete a less important partition created already and merge the space together to create a new partition with proper drive letter.
Deleting the partitions created by the OEM is often not possible due to the way the OEMs configure the partitions. Therefore the option then is to extend the operating system partition back to the original size to regain use of the unallocated space. If
additional storage is needed, consider adding an external USB hard disk.

Zen Micro: changing volume through programmi
Does anyone know a way to change the volume of a Zen Micro other than using the scroll bar? Can it be done through Creative Media Explorer or some other computer program rather than through the Zen itself? As I said in a previous post, I'm having scroll bar problems, and if I can just force the volume to change without using the scroll bar, at least I'll be able to play music.
Alas, I am no longer under warranty, and at the moment am not willing to pay $25 plus whatever else the repair costs to get my Micro working again. I did, however, just buy a $2 wired remote control, which solves the immediate problem of not being able to hear anything at all from my player. (Raising the individual volume levels of songs hardly helps when the player itself is effecti'vely on mute.) Saving playlists, etc, is still impossible, but at least I have my music for the moment.

Running OS X Mavericks (10.9.2) I am unable to change volume without restarting. Awhile later it happens again, the F10, F11, and F12 keys become non-responsive in controlling the volume.

Also whenever I change my volume using the fn+F7/fn+F8/fn+F9 keys, the little on-screen display doesn't pop-up any more. I would like to fix this and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am unable to change or delete my iCloud ID, it is prompting sign in using an old email address that used to be my Apple ID, others have had this same problem but the answer seems to be to delete the iCloud account but I can't do that, because when I select delete account it prompts me to sign in on the old email address which doesn't exist anymore!! Please help!
Welcome to the Apple community.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID, verify the changes, enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

Unable to change reference point location while using the Transform Functions in Photoshop Elements 6.0.
Which operating system are you using?
In photoshop elements 6, as far as i know, you can only change the Reference Point Location for transforms using the small grid in the left hand corner of the tool options bar with Transform enabled. -

Go step by step and test.
1. System Preference > Sound > Output > Internal Speakers
Highlight Internal Speakers.
Make sure that Mute is not enabled.
2.Plug in and remove the headphone.
If you see red light in the headphone port, plug the headphone
in and out of the port 5 or 6 times to flip the microswitch inside.
Sound output may be stuck in the digital mode.
Try this even if you don’t see the red light.

When using iCloud Calendar, I am unable to change the color of my work calendar. I have successfully followed the instructions to reset the colors of other calendars as desired. However, this one calendar always defaults to purple. Help!
File>New Calendar to create a new calendar (Groups are for grouping calendars and I should ignore them). When you've created the calendar, control-click on it in the sidebar and choose 'Get Info' There you can select a colour. You can have as many calendars as you like. When you create a new event you can select the calendar it belongs to, and hence the colour it has.
