E65 can't disconnect WLAN

I have E65 with latest software (2.0633.65.01) and there is problem with WLAN and VoIP connectivity.
My VoIP connection work's fine, but when i disconnect VoIP service, WLAN connection stays active (i see WLAN icon). If i try to disconnect manually through Conn. mgr. WLAN reconnects after few seconds.
VoIP is set up to connect 'When needed', WLAN Show availability is 'Never'.
The only way to disconnect is to switch the phone off and on.
Maybe somebody have solved this annoying behavior?

If you're seeing a symbol with two arrows - one pointing left and the other right, that is not the WiFi symbol - that is the 3G connection symbol.  Disconnecting wireless won't help in that case - it's using your provider's 3G data connection.  The WiFi log is like a radio tower with "waves" on either side.  To stop the network connection, you should find out which applications are requiring a connection to the network, and stop those from running/updating automatically (e.g. checking email every few minutes).
Now about why the 5800XM doesn't see your home router easily - there could be several issues.  I would suggest posting complete details about your router (some people have posted issues with specific routers) and doing some basic test like standing right next to the router and checking to see if your 5800 can see it.
If you want to start fresh, just go to your Connectivity > Destinations, and delete the entry for your home WiFi connection and start again.  However, this will work only when you're not connected, so you may want to turn off your phone, then turn it on again and do it while it's not connected.

    try to connect using WiFi connection manager like HandyWi, www.handywi.com, if that still doesn't work when it's probably something wrong with the settings on your router. Can also be that the page your are trying to load is too large for the mobile browser to process.

    One of our application has been running for over a year on a client network, a windows desktop executable connected to an Oracle Standard One Edition, rel. 10.1.0.2., on a Linux server. Now the executable hangs when the users exit the app. It is build using Oracle Objects For OLE and the culprit is the close method of the ODatabase object. Strangely however, we found out that other applications can’t disconnect anymore:
    Both SQL*Plus and Toad will hang when exiting.
    Also, doing a connection test with the Net Manager hangs when a valid login is used. If I put an non-existing user or a locked one (scott/tiger for example), the server does report the problem.
    I've enabled local client tracing on a user desktop but there are no errors reported, which makes sense since it seems like nothing is coming back.
    The network admin over there swears nothing has change on the network config. So I’m hunting possible cause for this. There are several logs file cluttering up disk space in various folders and this file:
    /home/oracle/OraHome_1/sqlnet.log is now up to 3.1 Mb. I believe I can safely delete this one from other messages I found in various newsgroup. I would be surprise however that disk space is the problem since the windows app works fine, doing query in SQL*Plus works fine. (I only tried Toad to check the disconnect “feature”, not familiar with this tool, but it was showing the schema correctly)
    As a developper, I am however curious on whats happening when a disconnect is sent to the server and what are the expected responses, which don’t seem to be coming back anymore. It really looks like some packets are lost on their way back.

    Oddly, I can't even drop or disablee the trigger, SQL*Plus freeze. The network admin will perform a shutdown tonite when nobody is using the software. I'll see if I can drop it then.

I asked the person to delete my iCloud account and told her to use her own; however, the iPad is still synched with all of my apple devices.     No, Apple cannot locate your iPod for you. If you didn't have Find My iPod set up before you lost the iPod, there's no way to trace it.

    haha, so now i'm thinking. I'm learning the terminal as fast as i can but there are several lines of codes and commands in there that throws up red flags to me that i don't fully understand. It just looks fishy too me. It would be highly appreciated if someone could just check this out just to tell me that i don't need to worry about it. Or point me in the right direction. I just feel un easy about this. ha.

    The "issues" you've raised are nothing to do with the iCloud service.
    No service that uploads data allows you to disconnect the device you are uploading from while uploading data. Doing so would prevent the upload from completing. It is a basic requirement for any uploading service that you remain connected to it for uploading to be possible.
    The time it takes to upload data to iCloud is entirely dependent on how fast your Internet connection is, and how much data you are uploading. Both of these things are completely out of Apple's control. Whichever upload service you use will be affected by the speed of your Internet connection.

    Sadly, there isn't. Some of your phone's items may be stored in the backup file the phone makes during sync. Unfortunently, should those items not be in the back up file they are gone for good.

    Thanks you for replying planb77! My husband got home and told me to just disconnect the ipod. It had been at least 12 hours by then, The music was in my library but not on my ipod, He had me shut down, unplug my computer, take a rest from it and restart. I reset my ipod following instructions on the itunes site. I tried syncing again and was successful syncing both ipods. I really think it was great of you to take the time to help someone else.

    There is something Definitely wrong with iOS 7 regarding DATA USAGE being logged to wireless carrier in for WIFI instead.
    I read all the previous replies and same issue.
    I rarely use my mac to sync....its all wifi sync for the last 2 years....never had this issue before... and i know it began with iOS7.... here is why....
    My iPhone was at home when I updated to iOS7 connected to wifi...but it logged Data Usage to Rogers Wireless (700MB approx)...data will never do an update over 50mb in app store (it gives the warning to use wifi) I play a lot of games and pay for them so I always update through App Store.  2 weeks later, simposons halloween update (650mb)...at home, using wifi.
    Rogers told me there was 700+mb data usage on the day of update and 650+mb data on oct 1.st (tapped out).
    Went over my 6GB plan and paid the fees.
    This has never happened before...It must come to apples attention by now...

    How about your problem now? Generally speaking, when you encrypt USB drive using Bitlocker, you can pause encryption if you need to remove the device for some reason. If you don't do so, you could damage or lose files stored on the device.

    Of course that you can do this. Because of that there is Safely remove Hardware option. All external devices connected on your unit should be listed there. If you want to remove some of them click on it and click on STOP button.
    When the selected device disappears from the list you can remove it from the port. I have done this many times with different units and external devices ithout any problems.
