E7 Bluetooth after Anna not connecting to car HF

After Anna the BT doesn´t anymore connect with my car´s HF. At office we´ve tested C7, N97 and there´s no problem with those. Possible that Anna update is not industry standard anymore?

Frustrating is a very slight word to describe the feelings towards this future fishing rod weight.
The latest update Anna 025.007 (for E7-00) was like torture. Firstly; what the **** is going on, when you cannot update your phone from your phone?!
Secondly; the Nokia Store update took ages to complete, as did the actual installing of the Anna update.
End result: After the update there is absolutely no change whatsoever in BT or anything else that a user might notice.
Oh, except that the MfE disappeared. Again, I had to spend another few hours to install the mailbox again (I know it should only take a few minutes, but remember, this is nokia).
Only after deleting the existing mailbox and 8 sec. boot did the MfE allow me to create a new one.
This however, did not function correctly; MfE retrieved all emails, but not the calendar or phonebook.
After several tries and reboots, somehow miraculously did the calendar appointments and phonebook also appear. I am certain that all settings were correct every time, I have them saved on my laptop, just in case.
Did I mention that the update did NOTHING to make the BT connection work with my car kit?
So, ahead with new disappointments!

  • Targus bluetooth mouse will not connect in bootcamp

I have a Targus blueetooth mouse that will not connect in bootcamp. It has worked fine for a long time in XP and 7. Then I upgraded the haddrive and had to do a lean install of Windows 7 and the Apple bootcamp 5. Now it will not connect at all. I have the "Apple Broadcom Built-in Bluetooth" seleted , it sees the mouse but it tries to connect and just stalls. This is very frustrating since without the mouse it is nearly impossible to troubleshoot Windows.

Bluetooth mouse will not connect my wireless mouse...
    what works +every time+ for me :
use your fingers to move the cursor up to the bluetooth icon (top right of display)
click bluetooth icon, select user mouse / connect
then quickly move the cursor up (with fingers) so it touches or is very close to the bluetooth icon
and start clicking with your mouse (making sure the mouse is on obviously).
I have NO idea why but this works on my MacBookPro everytime. If I try to connect without moving the cursor near the BT icon it won't connect (or takes at least 10 trys).

  • Bluetooth speaker does not connect automatically in windows 8.1

before the upgrade (?) to 8.1,if i turned on my bluetooth speaker,it automatically took over from the speakers of my laptop. No drivers,no further changes needed.
After upgrading to 8.1 i have to disconnect the speaker, connect it again, then set the speaker as my standard speaker.then it plays.every time again and again.
    how do i fix this?

Me too.  It shows that it connects and briefly reads "Connected" and then quickly switches to "Not Connected".  My Windows Phone 8, when trying to connect to Windows 8.1 PC via Bluetooth is doing the same thing and I
receive this both from the PC and the phone.  My phone does successfully connect to my Bluetooth speaker, but not from the PC only from the phone.   Has this been fixed yet and I missed it?  One thing
I've learned while being a part of a smaller market share having had a Windows Phone for several years now, the solutions come quietly and sometimes go unnoticed.  Only later will I find myself thinking, "Oh yeah it works now, they've created a solution".
Case in point: Red Laser stopped working then shortly thereafter there was the Eye icon available at the Bing screen that can scan just about anything that can be scanned.  Is there a similar thing happening with my Bluetooth device drivers from my 8.1
PC and I need to manually push something?  When there is a solution, will you please alert me and the rest of this thread?  Thanks much in advance!

  • Apple Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard not Connecting to iPad

Hey, I try to connect my Apple Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard is not connecting to my iPad. I tap Bluetooth "On" and it searches for devices. Then I slide the switch on the back of my keyboard to the green light and the iPad picks it up and says "Not Paired." So I tap the keyboard and it just spins and spins and spins until the keyboard times out and powers off. Then it disappears and my iPad can't find any devices. I repeated the process several times and I got the same result.
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks

I had a very similar problem, with a new model wireless keyboard. The set-up is not very intuitive (and the instructions for both the iPad and the keyboard are not particularly helpful). Here's how I got it to work:
    1. If the keyboard has already been paired with another object -- e.g., I was testing out my iMac keyboard -- you should be completely out of range of that other object (more than 30 feet away).
    2. Make sure Bluetooth on the iPad is disabled.
    3. The keyboard should not be "on" -- i.e., no solid green light.
    4. Press and hold the power button on the keyboard until you get a blinking green light. This should take just a few seconds.
    5. Turn on Bluetooth on the iPad.
    6. At this point, it should detect the keyboard and instruct you to enter a combination of keys to pair the two devices.
I found that you have to follow this sequence or it won't work. For example, if you have Bluetooth on on the iPad before holding the power button on the keyboard, it won't work.
    I hope that helps.

  • Bluetooth Keyboard is not connecting

Hi, I am having trouble with my Bluetooth keyboard as follows:
I havn't used my keyboard for a while as I was moving house but as soon as I got my desk set up I noticed the batteries where flat so I changed them. Anyway it would not connect to my computer so I went through the Bluetooth setup assistant and selected keyboard from the menu and ensured that the keyboard was discoverable etc..
Anyway it still didnt detect. The light was flashing as normal but nothing was connecting. I went back to the begining and changed the search criteria to Any Device and it detected an Apple Wireless Keyboard. When I went to continue it gave me a passkey but this didnt work. I also tried connecting without a passkey but it still didnt work.
This is the case on both my Macs so I think it is a problem with the keyboard. Maybe the battery running out has reset a flash drive in it.
Any advice would be great. Thanks

But for it to happen on both machines? Is this just a one off or has it happened to a lot of people since 10.4.8? Also I just carried out a fresh install of 10.4.0 on my PowerMac and I still have the same problem?

  • Bluetooth Mouse can not connect...

Hi All, I am aware this is an issue however can not figure out how to resolve it. I have a 2007 macbook 2.16 dual core I'm using a bluetooth mouse which works perfectly with Mac OSX Lion. However when I switch to Bootcamp running Windows 7 64 bit, the mouse can not connect. The computer will find the mouse but when I click on the mouse icon in the bluetooth setup to continue installation the circle spins and spins and says connecting to device and nothing happens. The mouse works and bluetooth works, but not in bootcamp. I am tech savy so hit me with your best shot. Thank you!!

Vnahaze2000, I still haven't figured out the problem. Try this website, it's from apple. There are drivers you can install which will hopefully alleviate your problem. I downloaded every driver and unfortunatelly no luck. But maybe it will help you. http://support.apple.com/downloads/#macoscomponents      Good luck!!

  • Bluetooth mouse does not connect

    Surface Pro 2; Win 8.1
    Built-in Bluetooth
I am attempting to connect a Bluetooth mouse to the surface when working at my desk. I have Bluetooth turn on and it keeps scrolling ... searching.
I have 2 Bluetooth mice that I am trying to get to connect:
    1. Verbatim model 96991 (no transceiver)
    2. Microsoft wireless mobile 3500 (with transceiver). I loaded Microsoft Mouse & Keyboard center. When run, cannot find device. I did not connect the transceiver because I want the internal stack to work.
I wish to use internal surface Bluetooth stack.
What do I do to get MS mouse working on surface 2 Pro win 8.1 with internal Bluetooth stack (no transceiver)
    John Lenz

MS Bluetooth mouse (w/USB) will not connect natively to Surface2 PRO.
Another Bluetooth mouse (no USB) does but does not sustain connection. I'll use this one.

My Bluetooth keyboard (model A1314) was connected to my Macbook.  I was away on a trip and now it will not connect.  A message comes up saying "error connecting to device".  I have tried everything that I can think of - replaced the batteries, removed the keyboard from the Bluetooth list.
I would be grateful for some advice please!
    Thanks!
