E7 Charging light codes - does anybody know what a...
My USB port on my E7 has been driving me nuts.
I have to connect the charger at the right angle and hope the wind doesn't blow or else it will not charge. Presently, the phone is in a state where I get a solid charging light, with the battery indicator showing it is charging. However, the display is black and the phone does not appear to be in. I suspect the phone is in some sort of deep discharge state, but I have no proof because Nokia doesn't document this sort of stuff.
If I pull the charger from the phone, hold down the power key for 8 seconds, sometimes I get the reset vibrations. The phone will restart, which if at this point if I plug it back into the charger, the charging light will begin flashing.
On the display, I will see 6 dots, flashing in sequence, and then the screen will go black and only show the corner battery indicator showing it is charging.
I have a second E7 that has been to Nokia twice because of this, the first time to replace the USB port, and the second time they sent it back because the warranty had run out - which leads me to believe that who ever is running Nokia's customer service/warranty repair should be fired on the spot. What kind of service sends back an unrepaired device without giving the customer an opportunity to pay for the repair?

We are sorry for the inconveniences regarding your USB port.
In fact, this is what the small white light means: when your device is overly discharged, and you plug the charger into it, the light will blink. This means that several minutes are needed for the phone to get minimum power and that you may not be able to start the phone. After a few minutes, the light will stop blinking and will be just static: this means that the phone still has very low battery but at this time you can try and turn on the phone. And the last stage is that the light will disappear, this meaning that the phone has now a normal battery level and can be started and used at anytime.
Obviously the phone is probably not always used until overly discharged before re-charging it. In these cases, the phone will charge just normally without the white light first turning on at all.
If there is a fault with the USB port of the device, the sequence of light pattern may not be as above and may be interrupted due to occasional cuts of power supply. Therefore, if your device does not follow the sequence above in the appropriate circumstances, please visit you local Nokia Care Point for a check up.
As for the repair/warranty issue you have had, and for complaints, please contact your local Careline and ask to speak with the After Sales department.

Trying to track down fast running fan that will not reset and this error came up.only apple techncians have access to what those codes mean. It is sensor related, but as it is a hardware problem, you need to bring it into an Apple store or AASP to have it correctly diagnosed and fixed.

My iPhone 5s is plugged in. It does not show that it is charging but gives the alert "ding" sound every 15-16 seconds. Does anybody know what could be the problem?
It sounds like it starting to charge, then suddenly stops over and over. This can happen if the cable or adapter is bad or if your charing port has an issue.
Try using a different cable and/or wall adapter. If the issue continues, it's probably the iPhone. If it does not continue, then it's the cable or adapter. Continue to swap to see what's bad.
If you don't have another cable or adapter to test will, take your iPhone and your cable/adapter combo to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. They can help you narrow the issue down and provide service as indicated. https://locate.apple.com/country -

I bought my iphone 5s a week before and now its volume "up" button is not working when pressed.Does anybody know what to do to make it work?I have a one year warranty.Should i give it to apple retail shop or is there any way to solve this problem?
IF it is a manufacturing defect and you bought the device from Apple or an authorized Apple retailer, then take it into Apple.

My imac is doing strange things:
-delaying between users: when closing session it goes to blue, then takes a while to appear users signin box, and then wont recognize mouse command to enter until a couple of minutes later... then everything seems alright until....
-it gets stuck between things, the rainbow wheel appears and its just delays there forever....
-and every now and then the mouse starts flickering and bouncing wildly onscreen.
I ran the appel hardware test and it detected an error:

Does anybody know what that means? HELP!WZZZ answered about where to get iStat. And do check the SMART status. If it is an overheating problem due to a fan or logic board problem, your hard drive is possibly cooking itself to death. If so it isn't a faulty hard drive even though the hard drive might fail. So assuming it's a temperature problem, even if you are able to repair things on the disk with software, that is working on symptoms, not causes. I could be wrong however.
RE: AppleCare: Your iMac came with one year of AppleCare (Apple's warranty program), but within the first year you can buy 2 more years. You have to extend by the one year anniversary of purchase of the computer. Your 10,1 is too old to still be in the first year, and since you asked what it was, I'm sure you don't have it. Bottom line meaning is that whatever this problem turns out to be, you'll have to pay for it. Unless there is something like this. It is for 2011 iMacs with certain Seagate drives. You can put in your serial number for fun, but it looks like yours is too old. Lastly, some people have had Apple help them anyway if it is just out of warranty, but many have not. Your machine is one of these. Type in 10,1 in the search box. Is there an Apple Store near you? Just b/c it's out of warranty doesn't mean you shouldn't have it looked at by Apple. But no one here can say at all what Apple will or will not do.

After downloading the latest version of iTunes and updating my iPhone, everytime I turn on my computer I receive a message that reads: "AppleSyncNotifier.exe - Entry Point Not Found. The procedure entry point sqlite3_wal_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library SQlite.dll" Help! Does anybody know what this means and how I can fix it? Thanks.
Yes. I just solved the problem on my PC. Here goes...
Issue: My Windows7 computer was producing the pop up box with the error text as you described.
The Problem: You have another application on your computer that uses the like named .DLL file... in this case a DLL supporting SQLite on your local PC.
Solution:
1. You need to use the Windows File search feature to look for the name "SQLite". This will quickly locate the offending DLL in the other application.
2. Decide which program you like the most, in my case "Mobile Me", and uninstall the offending application.
3. Uninstall Mobile Me.
4. Restart your PC.
5. Reinstall Mobile Me.
6. Mobile Me should sync at this point, but if not, restart the PC once again.
In my case, the offending program was my Aptana Studio development application. I had recently the SQLite3 database to my Ruby On Rails configuration...
This is where the file was located:
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Aptana Studio 2.0\plugins\com.aptana.radrails.sqlite3.win32_3.5.7.1278709071\vendor\SQLite3.d ll

Purchased music from I-tunes will no longer play when I hit play. The message "music file cannot be located" pops up and then takes me to some other file system. Does anybody know what to do? I have already tried to make sure that my Itunes player is default and that is not the problem.
Help!You get this message because iTunes can’t find the file. This can happen for a number of reasons:
The song file or a folder in its path was renamed
The song file or the folder it is in has been moved
The song file has been deleted
The device containing the song files e.g. external drive is not accessible or the drive letter has changed.

I can't synchronise my Ipad with my Imac. It's given unknown cause but nevertheless an indication (-50). Does anybody know what's happening or what I can do to solve this?

If you have the right connections, try swapping out the monitor with your PeeCee monitor and see if the problems stays or goes. But does sound like a monitor issue. But then, hard to know what you mean by shadow... -

Everything I own (iPad, iPhone, mac) is set up on wi-fi. when i bring my work computer home (dell laptop), I cannot get it to keep the connection in a different room. All my other devices work.... does anybody know what i am doing wrong? please help!
Windows drivers for Intel wireless cards are known problematic.. If you have plenty of signal and it still cannot keep or hold the connection the issue can simply be the type of wireless.
Another problem is using names that windows does not easily handle.
eg If you set the TC using apple names, like
Fred Blog's Airport Time Capsule wireless24ad12
Then to windows this is too long.. it has spaces and it has illegal character.
Change all names on the TC to suit windows. Short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.
Also security must be suitable.. I have no idea how old or what OS your dell is, but if you still have issues.. pull off the security on the TC for a test.. if the computer suddenly works, it is not compatible with WPA2 AES. Make sure you also use a password that is mix upper and lower case plus numbers.. avoid special characters and make it 10-20 characters long say.. it is not required to be more than that unless you are paranoid.
