E7: How to read email folders (in addition to inbo...

I have two email boxes which I read with my E7 as I did with my previous Nokia smartphones (N97, N95,...). Somehow it has become difficult to find the option to subscribe to other folders   than the inbox (such as Sent, Saved, ...). In my previous phones, this was quite simple and straightforward, but I can not find the corresponding options in the E7. Where should they be?

Maybe leave a few ? I set mane to 200 with full email and attachments, just in case I need to check up on stuff for reference, phone runs fine , plenty of space on C

How do I email folders or multiple photos? I get a server error message whenever I attempt to do this. Thank you!

Not sure what the error message is you're getting, but it's probably smartest to compress a folder, or its contents, or multiple files into a single file, then send it.
In Finder, select the files/folder(s) you want to send. Right-click (or ctrl-click) the group, then choose "Compress...". Once done, you'll find a file "Archive.zip" nearby, or "foldername.zip". You can rename it, but then attach it to the mail you're sending. It is safe to assume that the recipient will be able to unzip it.
Note that mail servers often have size limits for attachments, eventually both your outgoing mail server as well as the recipient's incoming server, and one limit might be tighter than the other. But then the error message should be telling you...

  • How to transfer email folders from old Mac to new Mac, How to transfer email folders from old Mac to new Mac

How do I transfer email folders with all messages from a i-Mac G5 (OSX 10.4.11) to a new iMac with OSX 10.6.7?

    Martin,
I would recommend starting over this time using Setup Assistant. Because you are migrating from a PPC machine I would migrate everything EXCEPT applications. You should manually install your apps, this will give you the opportunity to udate the ones that need it and I'm sure there are many. You may even apps that won't run on Intel based machines so why migrate them at all? You can use the Setup Assistant tips beginning at "Second chance...." You can either restore from your old machine or from one of it's backups. I think you'll see it's a pretty clean process, something you passed over (I'm not sure why) when  you turned on the new iMac for the first time.

  • How to open email folders

on my ITouch I use my gmail all the time and put notes into email folders, but cannot just open an folder and look at contents or retrieve a note......Apple was unable to help me with this

If you are tapping the icon at the top of the screen that looks like a folder with a downward pointing arrow then you are filing the currently shown email into the folder that you then select - which is why the email is disappearing from your screen as you've moved it out of the currently displayed folder into a different one.
To display a different folder, then if you are holding the iPad in portrait orientation then tap the button that shows at the top left of the screen which should be the name of the current folder (e.g. Inbox) and you should then get a list of the emails in that folder. If you are holding the iPad in landscape orientation then the list of emails is always shown on the left-hand side of the screen.
At the top left of that list should be your email account id; tap that and you should get a list of the folders that exist in that account, and if you tap one of them you should see the emails that are within that folder, and tapping one of those emails should display its content. If you have more than one email account set up on the iPad then at the top of the list of the folders you should see a Mailboxes button which allows you to go up another level from where you can then select a different email account and you can select a folder within that account.

  • How to close email folders?

    Hi,
My company email account has a ton of public folders that I almost never look at. Some of my personal email folders are at the bottom of this list which means I have to scroll through pages and pages of folders to get to the ones I want.
Is there a way to close these folders? I've tried the intuitive double tap but it just behaves as a single tap, opening the folder instead.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I have the same problem as you guy's have. I hope somebody can help me as I have 100's of folders and sub-folders. Scrolling down these are not the way to do it. There seems to be some major flaws in the mail app.
    Please help us!!

IMPA and POP3 has been disabled, but my requirement is I wan to read email. Then ask the administrator of the server to enable IMAP. If you have a valid business requirement to do that, there would be no reason for the administrator to refuse.

  • How to move email folders from iMac to MacBook

I have an iMac which I use almost all the time. When I travel I use my MacBook. Both have the latest operating system etc. By connecting the two with a cable I have no trouble moving files from my iMac to my MacBook. However, I do not have a clue how to move my email file folders in which I put my incoming emails.  I believe the Library is hidden. So how do I get to the Library and what files do I need to move to move my folders, I created, one sees in the left margin of the email window?

Unfortunately this did not do the job. I have clicked on all the items in the iCloud preferences and nothing happens. When I click on Sign Out I get the question "Do you want to keep a copy of your iCloud contracts on this Mac?--- I don't know-- What does it matter? So I keep the contract on this Mac. Then I am asked "If you stop using iCloud for Calendars, calendars stored in iCloud will be deleted from this Mac." What is this all about? What should I do?

if you mean you want to check the new messages count: you can simply used
int newMessages = folder.getNewMessageCount();if you are reading mails first time using javamail.

Based on your stack trace I would say you have a line of code like... = new InternetAddress(something)...and that something is null.

  • How to read email messages from ms outlook 2003

i am trying to access emails from MS outlook
my email account uses MS exchange server and it supports only mapi
Could anybody please help us to find a solution to acces mails from MS outlook or via mapi in java mail
    please reply faster

Faster, faster, faster! I'm going as fast as I can! :-)
JavaMail doesn't support MAPI directly. Search for "JEC" in the
    [JavaMail Third Part Products|http://java.sun.com/products/javamail/Third_Party.html] page.
Exchange will also support IMAP, if you can convince your mail server administrator
    to enable it.

  • How to read emails offline w graphics, pictures?

My Macbook Pro 5,1 is running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 with Mail 4.6. When I connect to the Internet, sporadically only because of still having no electricity after Sandy, my IMAP emails download just fine, but when I go to read them offline they have no graphics at all. Some senders are so enamored of graphics (HTML is it?) the whole email message is blank, with a few place holders only.
Is there a way to set things up so that the graphics are retained for offline reading?
So far I've been deleting the ones I can't read at all, it's the other ones that are becoming frustrating. Just enough text to entice you. I don't expect the links to work, nor the POP3 account.
Interestingly enough, it's one of my Windows newsletters that's most readable. Under the circumstances I don't even run my Bootcamped Windows....

When your downloading your email to your iPhone. The handheld is only downloading a small portion of the email ( pre determined internally). It doesnt seem to be adjustable on the phone. So if it is larger than that predetermined size it will wait until you read it to download the whole message. If there is an attachment you will have to be online to download and view.
