Hi,
This afternoon i dropped my nokia e7 and the screen cracked. Went to the shop but unfortunately i didn't have insurance.
However, been looking around on the internet and i have found some options that will help me out.

We suggest that you take your phone to the nearest Nokia Care Point in your area to have it replaced. Since your phone's warranty is already void, charges will be implied for the service.

If yu can't turn it off, then let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour try again.
If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and service is required.

HT1212 Unlocking ipad 2 ios7 with cracked screen.

I thought I had already backed/syncedmy ipad up to my computer but aparently have not.
Now, my screen is cracked on my ipad. I can slide it to get to the passcode screenbut dont have enough functionality to get my passcode in to it.
I need to get it unlocked just once to get it synced up to itunes so when I send it to apple, I dont loose everyting... Any suggestions?

Email access with cracked screen

This weekend I cracked the screen on my Curve. The phone is still working, but i cannot view the screen. Luckily, I have an old razor I'm able to use.
However, my problem is, how can I view the emails that are already on my phone? Obviously I can view my inbox through my email server (hotmail), but I cannot view messages sent from my BB in the sent messages folder on the hotmail. website. I'm sure there is a way, when I backed up my BB after the I noticed it was backing up my sms and mms messages. Will it also back up my emails (sent and recieved)?
Any ideas on how to reach my sent emails would be greatly appreciated!! I've been driving myself nuts trying to figure it out. thanks for the help in advance guys.

Occurrence of cracked screens in N95

Hi i'm asking around about how many people have experienced their screens cracking...
I have had my N95 for 1 month and 2 days and I went out for dinner and turned of my phone and left in my bag which sat underneath the table (away from walking feet)and when I turned it back on it had a massive crack down it.... it appears that it didn't crack the plastic or front screen.... but looks like a pressure point... it was not dropped, sat on or stood on at anytime during the night...
i took it to the Nokia Care Centre and they say its phyiscal damage.... however my father's friend said that he took his back and was told that it was no fault in this model and that it was under insurance.
Has anyone heard of it being a fault... or has had problems with cracked screens.... if so can I please ask how much it cost to get it fixed?
I'm veyr disappointed in the fact that it takes only the slightest pressure for it crack.. apparently.... and that this was not mentioned to me when i purchased the phoen.
if anyone has any answers or has had the same problem please let me know...

I bought a new N95 just before Christmass 08 and was woried that the screen would become scratched or damaged, so I used a soft digital camera case, which I wore on my belt, thinking that it would protect the phone. The case also fitted the phone well and made it easy to access the phone quickley.
It was to my surprise to find that the screen had cracked, though I know that from when I last used it on my daily walk till I noticed the crack(a period of about 20 minutes) no unusual force or any shock had occured to the phone, ie the phone and case did not contact with anything, and I did not even sit or bend down.
I returned to the agent who sold me the phone and they informed me that even though I had only had the phone for just over a month, the warranty does not cover 'physical damage' even with the added protection of the soft case, as I could not prove that it wasn't due to misuse.
The Lithgow agent also informed me that I would have to seek repair elseware as it would be to expensive if they were to organise the screen replacement repair for me.
I am just now seeking to have the phone repaired, as I resorted back to my old phone as I have been away for work. When I get the phone back I will buy or make a hard case that should provide guarenteed protection. Though if the screen cracks again, I'm sure that providing protection to the phone would also be seen as "misuse".

Free exchange for cracked screen iPad - is this real?

So this girl is saying that her boyfriend got his iPad with cracked screen exchanged for free, and he also got his iPhone 5 replaced for 15 times. She posted it on the 9 of November 2012 and the iPhone just came to Australia on the 12th of September 2012. That's only 2 months and he got his iPhone 5 replaced for 15 times. Also my friend got some problem with her iPhone 5 and she came to the store to fix but the people there required her to pay like $130 for fixing cost. Plus another friend of mine also got his iPad screen cracked and they told him to pay like $300 to fix it. How is this even fair?

Unlikely.
However, I know for fact that Apple does make exceptions from their repair policies.
Sure give them a call, be nice about it and see where will that take you. It helps if you've got a lot of Apple stuff...

What should I do with my white 20" iMac G5 w/ cracked screen?

I have an old white 20" iMac G5 with a badly cracked screen. I think the LCD itself is cracked because when boot it up i can't see anything but a light gray color. I looked into Apple Recyling and found that they thought the computer had no value, but would accept it for recycling for no charge. Is there anyone that would have use for the computer, or any other options apart from Apple Recycling? Thanks

You can donate it or if you want to get rid of it responsibly then you can use the Apple recycling or one of the many other local alternatives. For example if you live in the US just about all the electronics retailers such as Best Buy, Office Depot, Office Max etc have their own recycling program. I'm afraid that due to the age and condition of your Mac it doesn't have any monetary value except as scrap.

No, you cannot. And even if you had an iPhone 5c screen to use to try to replace the other iPhone 5c's screen, you shouldn't do that, since it permanently voids your Apple warranty.

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $199 for 64 GB 4G and $99 for the other 4Gs. They do not fix yours.

My friend gave me his nano with a cracked screen, anything I can really do?

It works perfectly, except the for the whole cracked screen, I was just wondering if there was any support I could get besides sending it to one of those 3rd party repair sites.

If I had a Nano with a broken screen, I'd look for someone selling a DOA Nano on eBay, buy it (if reasonable), and perform brain surgery on my Nano, using the screen from the dead Nano.
If you're not up to this type of stuff, try to find an iPod hacker who might do it for you. Sites exist on the net that go into the details of iPod disassembly.
Alternately, sell your broken Nano on eBay and put the proceeds towards a new iPod.
