E70 - SMS don't show correct time of reception

I own a E70 with 3.xx firmware.
Unfortunately none of the firmware updates have so far solved a very simple issue: whenever I switch on my phone and receive an SMS that was sent to me while the E70 was switched off, the time associated with the SMS is the time of delivery (i.e. the minute I switched the phone back on) and not the time the message was sent to me.
This is a pretty major bug. I find it useful to know whether someone was trying to reach me via SMS 10 hours ago, or 30 minutes ago.
Every phone I owned in the past had this feature - it's amazing how a "business" phone like the E70 doesn't offer it!
Anyone managed to fix this?

Should be clear sent and received time stamps. Not just 'time'. I think this time stamp is taken from different location in S40 and S60. Nokia OS (S40) might be using actual time stamp from message, so time is when message sent. In S60 then, time received (when you switch mobile on..)
At least details could be in details.
In delivery report, this is Ok i think. So you can see the time your frend have switched the mobile on (time when status changed from pending to delivered)

I've modified the High Speed Data Reader VI slightly so that it now uses the scan rate of the data (as determined from the file) to set the scaling for the data points. If you wanted the start time to be a specific time you could use the start time obtained from your file to set the xscale offset as well.

First, I couldn't seem to find that example either on computer or on the NI sites.
The problem that we're running into is stated in the article that I pointed to - when real time VIs are running, then the OS will stop updating the OS clock. TO us it looks like the clock is losing time. There is a hardware clock on the PXI and it is read only during boot up to set the OS clock. Our discussions with NI have not led to a solution for this problem without checking the time on start and then checking the tick count (which does not lose time) and calculating what the current time is. No access to the hardware clock is supplied.
We're still working on a simpler way to get accurate time.

6600 Slide not showing correct time for recieved m...

Hi again, My slide is mighty cute but is vexing me once more. Whenever I recieve messages - if i look at the "message details" it says i have recieved them at bizzare times. Eg. if it is 1pm it might say 4:36 am. Have called my service provider - they said it was a phone setting. Checked at the shop i purchased it from and they cound't figure it - i have searched and still can't figure it! anyone have any clues as to how i would go about setting it for the correct time? When I send messages it sticks the right time on them and my phone clock is correct too ...

Go to:
settings,
date & time,
date & time settings,
then go to TIME ZONE(set your GMT, that's the local time zone. Eg: Mine is GMT +8, Its because I live in asia so its GMT +8. It depends in what country you are located. If you dont know your GMT or local time zone, just google it, type GMT & look for the country where you live.
Then, set the actual time & date.
I also have that kind of problem before & I did the same thing.

IPad will not turn off screen is white showing correct time only

I tried to relocate my settings icon and it dissapeared tried turning off and on then iPad siezed up with a white screen. The only thing at the top of the screen is the correct time. Can this problem be rectified. Help thanks

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

Safari on my iPhone 6 running 8.02 doesn't seem to work right. Some Java scripts don't show correctly and they do on other browsers I have downloaded. I tried almost everything and nothing seems to work to fix it. Please help.

Some websites like the one of my college uses JavaScripts and they seem to load correctly to a certain point but then not really. For example in one it would say select an option from the left menu. And I do it hut nothing happens. But when I go to the same website in another browser on my phone. The JavaScript works completely and allows me to see whatever I was clickig on that menu. I have seen that there are other websites being affected too. I tried clearing my cookies and data. even restarted my phone. And doesn't seem to work. I don't know how change the configuration any more to make it work like normal. At first I thought it was my school's website but it never got fixed. And now I realized is my safari browser! I wanna keep using it since I am really familiar with It. If someone knows how to fix this please let me know!

You can reset the SMC and see if that helps. If it's a unibody or Retina, follow the method for "a battery you should not remove yourself."

Swingbench don't show correct TPM?

Hi all,
i'm using swingbench for retrive TPM information, but i don't know why it shows me low TPM values.
My server is BL480C (2 CPU quad core) with 16Gb of RAM, oracle 10g SGA size is 6Gb and is sizing enough for OLTP.
i've create with ccwizard a schema of default 10000 customer and i've try a generation data for 100,1000,10000 and 40000 number of transactions.
When i test it with 25,100 or more users, in all case the result don't go over 5000 TPM for minute.. isn't possible! my server should be arrive at 80000 TPM
what i mistake in configuration of bench??

It's not clear if you think you have a problem with the configuration of your tool or you just can't believe that you can't drive your db to over 5k tpm.
If the first - configuration of your tool -- that's a question for your tool people, not Oracle.
If the second - perhaps you really can't drive your db - as currently hosted and configured - past 5k tpm. If you think it should go higher then you need to start analyzing your db performance just like any other tuning engagement.

Clock not showing correct time in Mac OsX 10.8.2

Recently I noticed that the clock (in the menu line) has stopped updating as time goes by. If I click on it, it updates to the current time but remains on that time until I click on it again.
Any others that has noticed this?
I don't think that I have installed or upgraded any programs recently either, so I suspect that it is a system malfunction...

If you look at the "More Like This" box, you aren't the only one that is experiencing clock problems. If what I suggest doesn't work, if you monitor the "More Like This" box, other threads appear. Opening them usually displays other threads.

Are you talking about the clock on the lock screen only. Have you checked to see if the time on other Apps is actually coronet?

ICloud Mail on my Mac won't show correct time zone.

In Settings I have time zone set to central time but mail keeps displaying pacific time. My Mac is displaying central time, so it appears to be an iCloud mail issue. The time zone is correct on my other devices (iPad and iPhone). But on my desktop iMac and my MacBook Pro it does not work.

I am having the same problem. The time displayed on my outgoing mail from my Mac is Pacific time although I am in the Eastern time zone.

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Sms no longer showing in pc suite

ok this is baffling me...
first off .. info on the pc suit
PC-connection solution:
Versie 9.23.3.0
Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver:
Versie 7.1.17.0
Operating System:
Microsoft Windows Vista 64-bits editie, Service Pack 2
for so far this relevant information...
2 phones, same problem
1 the N80 and 2 the N97
hooked both up to PCsuite... all works perfectly
over 2 weeks back, while both were hooked into pcsuite, same pc/program (which should not be a problem). All has been working for months on end fine.
receiving and sending sms/mms
over abt 2 weeks back suddently after a receive or send, the SMS don't show up anymore for the N80
so i tought this might be a phone problem
rebooted the N80, hooked up, same problem
the MMS do show, the listing takes place, but the SMS do not appear anymore
and you are unable to send SMS via pcsuite, but you can send MMS.
baffling..
so hooked up the N80 to another computer, and... magically no problem
so the problem is not in the phone, but in the communication centre software.
Now i don't need the N80 that often, so on the second pc works for me aswell.
till yesterday.
the N97, I've send an SMS to a client, and after sending, refreshed to list
and SMS did not show anymore, only the MMS are shown.

I've checked different (googled) sites, but no direct solution found
neither on nokia site(s) or other related site(s).
For some or other reason, the pcsuite application decided to not display, retrieve... the SMS info, but it does show the MMS info
you can not send SMS via pcsuite, but you can send MMS out via pcsuite.
when i check settings => tab General
check for the supported announcements button
then although previously all three where green, now the announcements for incoming messages is red
I'm sure more of you will have experienced the same thing
Maybe sumone has a workaround for the problem
or can enlighten me to correct this.

so... just updated from v11.0.021 to v12.0.026
still same result
also... rebooted the pc where the problem is, and after reboot same deal.

Certain characters ie: - ' " and even some font styles, ie: italic don't show correctly in Safari, v. 2.04 (419.3) on some websites. I then try the same website in FireFox and everything displays correctly. Do I have fonts missing, not installed. I occasionally see this same problem in the Mail program.

Wrong display of punctuation is usually an encoding problem. Try changing View > Text Encoding to Latin-1 or UTF-8. Provide a url for more specific help.
Wrong display of italic is most likely a font problem. You need to be more specific about what it is being changed into for anyone to help.

How can I get Messages to show the correct time for read receipts?

Messages in Mountain Lion shows the wrong time for read receipts. For example, my iPad will show a message was read at 3:37 pm but if I open Messages on my MacBook, the read receipt shows the time that I opened the Messages app as opposed to the time the message was actually read. This is not too much of an issue if my iPad is handy, but really, shouldn't Messages on my MacBook be able to show the correct time the message was read? It syncs all the other infromation with Messages on iOs.
I should mention that if Messages is running on my MacBook when the recipient reads the message, then it does show the correct time the message was read. It's if Messages was not running and I re-launch it that the read receipt time gets mixed up.

As far as I am aware Messages marks or time stamps an iMessage at the time of receipt rather then the time you got around to reading it.
I will admit that in most cases reading and receiving as the app opens will be near enough the same time in some conversations.
Adding Time Stamps to Chat is what iChat has always done particularly with AIM based Chats.
The "Sync" in Messages is "display on all devices" and after that each iMessages is dealth with separately on each device.
There is no syncing of deleting/dimssing an iMessages or having read it on another device.
