E70 update firmware and problem

hi, I have upgrade firmware of mine nokia e70 and have found a problem. I have insert, after the reset, card mmc where the photographies reside. I have difficulty to open the photographies, it says "unable to open file protect", and in any case the menù that is opened has of the lacking voices! How I can risovere? Thanks

I just updated firmware and it dosen't work.

I bought my router EA6500 and just updated firmware and it became a brick.The logo light keeps blingking and I can't even go into the setup.I downloaded the latest firmware and manually updated.It seemed went ok everything and said it's going to reboot but it went into this blingking mode.Is it because I did something wrong or it's because I bought a refurbished product.

Where was the firmware downloaded? Was it from the Linksys website? Resetting the router may straighten this up. Press and hold the reset button for 10 to 15 seconds. Then, reboot and reconfigure it. I'm not sure which version do you have but you may check it on the system label that is found underneath the device. Select the correct hardware version and download the firmware from this link. Once accomplished, reset again the router and configure it. If the same thing will happen, it's best to contact Linksys and have it replaced.

Problem with update Firmware and Fax with m276nw

I have two problems
1) I can't update the printer in wirelless mode, I mean the update program (version 2014-08-05 , Version 20140718, 12.05M) and the printer work but finally the printer is not updated.
How can i do it?
2) I'd prefer to forward fax in email or in alternative I'd want to read in a web interface. In this case I have a suggestion: An update could be the way.

I would like to assist you today in resolving the firmware update issue and the fax forward to email issues that you're experiencing on your HP Laserjet Pro 200 Colour MFP M276nw. I understand that you have been trying to update your printers firmware via the wireless connection but your printer does not want to do that. I'm going to provide you further instruction on how to properly update the firmware.
How to Properly Update Firmware:
It is best to update firmware through a USB Cable connection. This is because the firmware update will reprogram your printer. Sometimes with wireless connections there can be intermittent communication. If the firmware update is interrupted in any way while the printer is being updated it can cause a programming failure on your printer. If this occurs you most likely would need a printer replacement. Also, a firmware update gets sent to your printer much like a print job. Therefore, you need to ensure that you do no have any print jobs in queue waiting to print before you update the firmware.
What I would suggest doing is running the HP Print and Scan Doctor Tool. If you run this tool and select 'fix printing' than the tool will run a scan on your computer and ensure that the connection, software and driver are all properly setup. If the HP Print and Scan Doctor identifies any issues it will attempt to resolve them for you. I suggest installing the printer for USB connection before running this tool as you want to run the firmware update through USB.

Once you run the HP Print and Scan Doctor Tool and get the all clear that everything is set up properly than you can run the firmware update. Please click on the following link for the proper firmware download:

Once the utility is downloaded, you want to run the tool and send the firmware to the printer. The printer may turn itself off at the end of the update, just turn the printer back on if it doesn't turn on automatically.
In terms of wanting to forward faxes to email or an alternative option like receiving faxes in a folder on your computer, these are not options that you have with your HP Laserjet Pro 200 Colour MFP M276nw. As the specs for your model printer: LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw Specs indicate you only have the option to send faxes from a computer.
Should you still want to receive faxes to your email you could check out the third party service: Efax
However, I believe you may have to pay for this service. Also, should you have any issues with the Efax service HP does not support this on your product. Help with Updated Firmware and Mediasou

Looking for a quick reply if possible. I recently updated the firmware and the layout of my Zen touch has changed in Mediasource. Let me show you what it was, and what I wanted it as (for the easy transfer of files, eg. have the artist/album/genre bar on the side)

Your firmware is the PlaysForSure (also known as MTP) version. For PlaysForSure devices, the organization of the tracks as seen in the PC software (such as Creative MediaSource, Creative ZEN Media Explorer and Windows Media Player) is by folders and filenames. I've seen a number of problems with people updating their firmware with WMP installed and it turns out that's the problem. WMP has a bug in it that will not allow the firmware update to recognize the player. So, here's what to do to roll back to a previous version:
These instructions will only work for Windows XP
You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group to perform the following procedure.
. Disconnect any portable music or video devices that might be attached to your computer.
2. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

OK. I've been having this problem and have probably read every post there is on the net concerning it. But it doesn't seem to be only a Media Player problem. I was only running Media Player 0 when it happened to me. I found the solution somewhere, I can't remember where, but it worked for me and it was easy.
Here's what you do:
. Download BOTH ZenXtra_PCFW_LA__20_08.exe and enXtraP4SAudible_PCFW_LB_2_0_03.exe
2. Connect the Zen Xtra to your PC.
3. Run ZenXtra_PCFW_LA__20_08.exe. When the window comes up and says that your device is not connected DON'T do ANYTHING! Just leave it there.
4. Now run ZenXtraP4SAudible_PCFW_LB_2_0_03.exe
5. It told me that I already had this version on my device did I still want to load it's I said yes and it went through the whole upgrade and now it works fine.

You need to update the information regarding what Mac this is and what version of OS X you're running.
You show a PB G4, which won't run the Mac App Store.

EA4500 with manually updated firmware and wireless IOS devices DROP CONNECTIONS

i immediatly manually updated the firmware on my ea4500 to the newest version.
to get my ipad2 and/or iphone to work with my router after they have been sitting idle for a long time, say overnight i must turn them off and turn them back on or restart the router.
i have time warner cable<ooma telo<ea4500.
i never had this problem with this setup with my ea3000.
any help would be appeciated.

I think the easier "Factory Defaults" will be sufficient in most cases (as long as you stay with Cisco factory firmware, which sofar will be true for the E4200v2 and EA Series).
Step 1: Write down (or make screen copies) of all the setting changes you made compared to "default".
Step 2: Use a wired connection from Router to PC, with the PC set to DHCP or an IP address within the Routers range.
Step 3: Administration>Factory Defaults>Restore Factory Defaults
Step 4: Wait 5 minutes.
Step 5: Login to 192.168.1.1 with the default Username: admin and Password: admin
Step 6: Manually bring all your required settings back in, as noted in step 1.

Update firmware and WLAN stop working

I update the firmware as suggested by the software update for N97 and since then WLAN cannot connect or start browsing. Have done the factory reset still no used and when try to define the Destination in come up with system Error. Nokia, why are you try to make our life a misery? you promise the update will benefit us and see what happened!! Anyone Please help.

I had a similar problem.
I still own an E61 and had a problem as it became "crazy" with all the lists being scrolled out (wherever I am ) continuously without beign able to stop it or to control anything!
So what I have done is reinstalled the frmware .
Since then I am not able to use my WLAN at all. No matter what I do I receive immediately "connection not available".
in the connection the existing Wifi spots are being seen but I am not able at all to even let the WLAN scan for existing Wifi or try to connect. The message is received immediately as I press the button!
Any help??

Already installed OSX without updating firmware - a problem?

I’ve just installed Puma on a G3 iMac (slot loading) for a friend, and would like to upgrade to Panther.
Thanks to some helpful types on here today, I’ve realised I need to get the retail version to do this.
However, I didn’t update the firmware when I went from OS9 to OSX
Is it true that you can’t do it if you’ve already installed OS X?

further quick question - how does one boot in os9? sorry, i'm sure that's a real thickie question to ask. will puma have os9/classic environ installed with it too? (i don't remember seeing anything)

Changes in security from 7 update 45 to 7 update 51 and problems with Java applet

After the update (from 7 update 45) to version 7 update 51 we've gotten some problems with a Java Applet as it won't run.
When changing security settings to "medium" it works, but it would not run under the default "high" setting. This lead me to update the manifest file as follows:
Manifest-Version: 1.0
Trusted-Only: true
Application-Name: MyApplet
Permissions: all-permissions
Caller-Allowable-Codebase: www.MySite.com
In addition to this, I added the <param> tag in the HTML page.

The applet is digitally signed with a certificated issued by Verisign.
It now runs on my system. But I noticed that it also runs if I switch the security setting back to "high", which doesn't make any sense to me.
I've tried another computer and to the same thing there. Would not run. I switched to "medium" and and the applet worked. Switched back to "high" and it still works.
I've tried this in both Google Chorme and Internet Explorer 11.
On a third computer it won't run at all, getting a different error message than on the other two, but still related to permissions/security.
The console log message is:
"liveconnect: Security Exception: JavaScript from http://MySite.comn/MyPage.html attempted to access a resource it has no rights to."
Any ideas what I'm missing or what I need to change to get this beast to run everywhere.

I tried changing the Caller-Allowable-Codebase to not include "www." and it started giving the the same error message as for the third machine in the test.
So, I changed Caller-Allowable-Codebase to "*" which made it work on all machines.
I don't quite understand why it acts differently on different machines, if it's ok with www.MySite.com on one of the the machines, it should be OK on all no?
I don't see a problem with letting it be "*" but it would be nice to understand what's going on.

Have TC green light. It won't update firmware and I'm not coneected to the internet. I can, however, connect with ethernet direct to Imac

I have a grren light on TC but the firmware update fails because I'm not connected to the net. I have the ethernet cable from my Charter cable modem connected to TC and trying to connect automatically but it's not working. Can anyone help?

Have you performed a full modem reset on your device and network power cycle?
If not, please try the following:
Push the reset button on the modem and then power it off
Pull the battery if its easily accessible
Power down everything else on your network
Wait at least 15 minutes, 30 would be better, 60 even better.
Power up the modem first and let it run by itself for a few moments
Start the next device connected to the modem, probably your Time Capsule, the same way
Start each device the same way until all network devices are back up
If your modem is functioning corrrectly, and you have the TC configured correctly, you will be connected to the Internet.

WAP610N updating firmware problem

I have a problem updating firmware for an WAP610N access point.
The thing is i tryed to update from 1.0.01 to 1.0.03 and the update freezed at 49%. The next day it was restarted but of course it didn't worked again.
The question is can i reset it some how so i can retry the firmware update ?

I want to share something related to updating firmware and I cannot create a new topic so I will add it here.
Today I was reconfiguring my WAP610N, trying to get a little more out of it. I don't have any active b or g devices anymore so I set it to "n only" and walked around the house to see how my connection developed. Not bad at all, I had a fairly good connection all around the house.
Being the tinkerer that I am, never satisfied until I screwed something up, I thought it would be a good idea to look for new firmware. My current version was 1.0.01 and what do you know? There was a brand new 1.0.05 on LinkSys's website!
I installed it and... could not connect anymore. Neither with mij fully updated Samsing Galaxy Note II, nor with my brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab S. I tried everything, it didn't get better. I started looking for older firmware versions, wanting to get back where I came from. Stumbled upon FW_WAP610N_v1.0.00.832.bin and installed it. Fortunately the device didn't give me hard time telling me this was an older version or something like that, it just installed it. And I could connect again! Phew!
Then I found FW_WAP610N_v1.0.01.094.bin , tried that, same problem. Put back v1.0.00.832 again, I could connect again.
Apperently something was seriously srewed up shortly after v1.0.01.000 . My original v1.0.01 worked fine (which I lost), anything later ruined my WAP610N.
So, if you have any issues connecting, Google for FW_WAP610N_v1.0.00.832 and install it. Then resist the urge to install the latest available firmware and just enjoy your WAP610N while it works.

Firmware and Software updates not working

I have now bought one and it's great as you said, I have a problem though I downloaded the updated firmware and Software from this web address:http://support.creative.com/Products...odName=Vado+HDThe problem I am having is when I run the exe's a window opens up with message: supported Vado?HD is not detected, I have tried running them from both my hard dri've on the computer and also from the hard dri've on the Vado HD? question is have you tried to update Firmware and Soft ware? does it work for you? It might help that I bought my Vado in the USA but I am using it in the United Kingdom and have it set to PAL and Europe, could this be the problem? In any case do you think the update is an important one?. Would like to resolve if possible though. Thanks for you anticipated help

ive also went in single user mode and done the fsck - fy & /sbin/mount -uw thing
i did /usr/sbin/diskutil repairPermissions but it just stood still and didnt do anything (is this normal??) go back to work (apple store employee, yay) tomorrow but i dont really want to drag this down to the bar. so thank you for your help

Problem updating firmware WRT54G v5 1.00.1 to 1.02.2

Hi, I've been having an issue updating the firmware of my WRT54G v5 router to 1.02.2 ... the reason is because one of the previous firmwares solves some Bittorrent issues .. Anyway, I checked the tag and it reads v5 .. and the firmware is currently 1.00.1. I downloaded the right .bin file, I presume, which is 1.02.2.. when I choose 'Update Firmware' and select the .BIN file, I see about 1% of the progress bar light up and it immediately switches to a webpage reading 'The connection was reset. The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.' which seems to be a default (Firefox) error. Ofcourse, when I re-enter the web interface, it still reads '1.00.1' as current firmware... any ideas?

Ow, never mind... I figured it... tried some more last night but I couldn't even save the Configuration (error which resembles the one described above). Made screenshots of the configuration, then did a hard reset.. then immediately tried the firmware update which succeeed flawlessly. I could also make a Configuration backup again!
