E71-2 "software already update to date" when its n...

I got an unlocked E71-2 from amazon new, i know the latest firmware is out but it keeps saying mine is up to date, how do i install the latest firmware i have 100.07.76 they have a newer version out, but the stupid software doesn't see an update for my phone
How can i fix it?
the software updater says E71 (RM-357) is already up to date firmware version 100.07.76
Current: 100.07.76
Update: 100.07.76
so no update option?

you have a misunderstanding !!
The software isn't stupid at all , it's totally correct
Updates are available for certain phones bought from certain locations .
For example , a phone bought from Dubai can get an update , but another bought from Europe can not get an update.
Wait till Nokia makes an update for your phone , however you may not get one , but this is unlikely for new phones , you might face this case after multiple updates .
That's why when you check for updates thru Nokia official web site , they ask you to inter your phone's IMEI number , not simpley the phone model ! make sense right ?

  • Hello I have a one year account and I am having problems downloading it onto my Macbook... It is telling me that my apps are already up to date when I do not have the softwares downloaded!

  • "Check For Update" says all software is up to date --- but its not!

I'm attempting to download the software upgrade....but when I follow the steps, the "Check For Update" says "All software is up to date & will check again on 6/19."
Why won't my iPhone realize the software is NOT up to date?

Forgive me; just curious.  Something I don't understand.
Your products listed are 10.6.7 ... and that IS Snow Leopard.  So why do you need to buy it again.
In terms of latest updates ... Go to Systems prefs > Software update > Installed software.   That will tell you what software has already been downloaded.   What your computer is telling you is that all the software relating to your current OS is up to date.

  • When using SUS, clients say software's up to date when it's not.

I'm trying to get my Software Update service up and running and it all seems to be working (clients see server) except that every client reports that software is up to date even though I've got all updates copied and enabled (just trying to save bandwidth) and I'm certain they need several. Any thoughts?
I'm using OS X server 10.5.6 and the issue exists with tiger and leopard clients.

Thanks for the response. I can see the file in a browser but did notice a FQDN disparity.
the clients are set to look to sus.something.org:8088/index.sucatalog which lines up with how our DNS is set up. In the index.sucatalog file, however, it says image.something.org. I've never had "image" as an entry in our DNS system so i'm not sure where that's coming from. As a test, i did a find and replace on the file and replaced "image" with "sus" and then it worked. the problem is that when a change is made and the file is updated, it's back to "image."
How can I change this so that it will update the file with the correct FQDN?

  • Why does it say my software is up to date when I am running OS X 10.7.4 ?

I have just bought this Macbook Pro but when I use the software updater is says my software is up to date, yet I am running 10.7.4
It wont download and install the latest version. How do I get it to update my software to the latest version?
    Thanks in advance,
    Michael

When you say "just bought", when did you buy it? New Macs should come with 10.8; the up-to-date program expired in August, I believe, but it's worth trying to enter your details here:
    https://uptodate.apple.com/UtdPrepareAction?program=Mountain%20Lion&locale=en_us
Regardless, you should still be able to get to 10.7.5 for free. Try the manual updater here:

  • How to avoid updating the data when ever we refresh the page

I want to avoid updating the data to the server when ever we refresh the web page.
    Thanks in advance.

You could potentially do it by using a redirect instead of a forward to the result page.
That will essentially do it in two requests. 1 to request the save, another to display the result of the save.
If the user then requests a refresh, it won't incur a save call.
Of course, that doesn't stop them going back in the browser, and refreshing that page, but it at least makes it a little harder.

  • How do you update your server when its not connected to the internet?

This is actually a Windows Update question.
My OS is Windows Server 2008 Standard, Service Pack 2.  It is a stand alone system.
Crazy, I know, but I want to keep my server updated with the latest security patches, Software Patches, etc., even though it will soon not be connected to the internet.  Right now it is and I am making certain it's completely updated prior to removing
    its connection.
How would I do that?  I realize that I will have to do what "Window's Update" does, but do it manually.
Please help! I'm new to servers and I will need this to be very much a step by step. Don't be surprised at to what I don't know at this point.  I am learning though!
Thanks in advance.  Any and all help will be very much appreciated.

    Hi TimothyJohn,
    You either,
    - Setup a disconnected Wsus in the same LAN than your server. See Wsus documentation to see how to do that and how to update a disconnected Wsus.
    - Use a third party tool like "Wsus Offline" :

  • ITunes 9 not updating tag data when re-importing a CD

    Hello all,
With ALL previous versions of iTunes, when you re-import a CD and if you change the information (like the genre, etc.) iTunes would update the existing versions of the songs with this new data (it would also fill in the track x of n information). With iTunes 9, it seems to default to use the existing data instead of using the new data. Is there a way to get back the previous behavior as I want iTunes to update the old metadata with the new data (not keep the old stuff).
    Thanks,
    hmss007

If you insert a CD, it gets the info, you import it, change the info and then reinsert the CD and reimport, it will not reuse the info you changed. It will use the info from the CD.
This is how it has always been.
If the CD info is not correct, you need to change it before you import/reimport it.
If you have already imported and changed the info, you can use this script -> Copy Track Info to CD Tracks v1.3 to copy the changed info in Tunes to the CD, then reimport it.

  • Why does itunes and my iphone insist my software is up to date when it isn't?

itunes insists I have the current version (11.05). I've tried several times to get it to up date but it refuses to do so. Same problem with my iphone 4. If I download itunes from Apples download site, will that work?

I beleive your type of ipod has reached the maximum OS. You probably cant upgrade it further. Hope this helps and ask questions if you have any. Is your ipod a 3rd generation?

  • Software says it is up to date when it isn't

I have two Apple TV units. One updated; the other says my software is up to date when it clearly isn't. I've tried restarting the unit, tried unplugging  it and repowering it, but it still says "up to date" when it clearly isn't (old appearance, no beats, etc. which my updated unit shows). Any suggestions?

Try resetting the ATV2 with a microUSB cable and iTunes and try Software Update. If you plug it in and have iTunes running, what details does it show?

    Hi mayrainblaster,
It is not clear from your post whether you are attempting to update your iPhone over wifi or when connected to your computer. If your issue is occurring with one of these I would suggest trying the other. See this article for how-to -
