E71 bluetooth connection car-kit

My E71 does not connect properly with my pioneer AVIC 3BT car-kit. The phone and car pair and than repeatedly pair and unpair. Previous nokia's (such as E61) did not have any problems. I suspect the new bluetooth misses the protocol for slightly older bluetooth connections. Anybody any better idea, such as an update or a program lije Jetware for Nokia?

Pioneer has posted an update, that also works for my E51!
Here you will find the update file and update instructions for the FH-P80BT, DEH-P800BT, DEH-P700BT and DEH-600BT.
This update enables above models to connect NOKIA Nseries with software after October/2007.

Bluetooth and car kit

Hi, I have aproblem with the iPhone Bluetooth. The car systesn is able to recognize the iPhone and viceversa, then the car system asks to dial a passkey both on the car (easy) and on the iPhone: here I have the problemn sicne I don't know what to do, since no keyboard is available on the iPhone part regarding bkettooth: just if it is active and if it is able to find a device. So at he end nothing happens and the abilition of the is always "failed". What can I do?

Use the iPhone to 'find' and set up the car kit rather than the other way around (using your car to find and set up the iPhone). Go to settings, then general, then bluetooth - the phone will search for and [hopefully] find our car kit (you'll need to read your car kits manual and set your car kit in discoverable mode), then touch the car kit and the iPhone's 'keyboard' will appear asking for your car kit's pass code. Key that in and presto... done...

E71 bluetooth connection failure

I have a Nokia E71 since 7/2009. Lately I purchased a new car which has a integrated bluetooth device in the instrument panel. After I did all settings in my new car and in my mobile phone I could dial successfully in the car device but after I shut off the main switch and started it again the mobile phone tried to connect but without success. In order to connect it again I had to delete all the settings I did before and to set the systems again from the beginning and then it worked until I shut off again the main switch. I connected another type of mobile phone (Nokia 6500) and it worked perfect.
I appreciate your advice in order to solve this problem/

E71 bluetooth connection to Pioneer CD-BTB200

i can't seem to connect my E71 to the CD-BTB200
It seems to connect and then immediately disconnects

I agree that the advice from cjlim should work; deleting and re-pairing the device should clear up the problem.
But. . . in my E71, it's not. I mean, twice a day, I have to delete and re-pair my Jabra BT8040 headset. So, sadly, I need to add myself to the list of folks who are looking for a solution to this problem.
The Jabra is pairing just fine. However, I'll either disconnect (shut off) the Jabra, or I'll both disconnect the Jabra and shut off bluetooth, on the E71 (power-savings, by pressing Shift-*). Later, I turn the phone back on, or turn on bluetooth, or bluetooth is already on and I turn on the Jabra headset. The E71 sometimes responds that the headset is connected or it will display the correct indicators, on the Home screen (Bluetooth logo, contained within parenthesis, plus the little headphone logo). However, the headset doesn't actually work - I cannot hear calls and callers cannot hear me, via the headset.
Sometimes, when I shut off the Jabra BT8040 headset, the indicators on the Home screen remain unchanged. The phone basically doesn't recognize that the headset is not even powered up, any longer. If I then go to manually disconnect the headset from the phone, the E71 actually hangs for awhile - becomes completely unresponsive. Sometimes it comes back and, more than once, I've given up and had to resort to opening the back and disconnecting the battery.
For those who want the details, mine is an E71-2, firmware 200.21.118.

E71 Bluetooth connection Not found

I'm trying to connect my computer to my phone. When Ovi searches it finds my phone then when I click to connect it searches and seaches and tells me this:
"Bluetooth modem might need to be installed on your computer."
Then after awhile it says it failed to connect.
I'm able to send files from my computer to my phone using Bluetooth. But not when I'm in the Nokia Ovi Suite program.
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

i have same problem also. Toshiba Satellite A300 2D4 Windows 7 x64 SP1 Toshiba Bluetooh stack v.8.00.02 with Nokia Ovi Suite 3.0.0.290. There is no problem with PC Suite 7.1 but we cannot use the Nokia Maps on the PC Suite.

Car Kit Bluetooth on Palm Pre Issue

I have connected by Palmpre to a Bluetooth visor car kit. However, as soon as I get an incoming call, Bluetooth goes into card view and therefore disconnects! Samething happens if I try and make an outgoing call. It is impossible to leave Bluetooth screen on full view so how on earth can I use this in the car??? Any ideas???

Currently those devices are Audio devices and A2DP devices. any other devices, like some cell phones and computers it may see them, but won't display them as a device it can pair with. Unable to download contacts to my portable Bluetooth car kit

Just bought a Motorola T325 Portable Bluetooth Handsfree Car Kit Speakerphone. It will pair with my iPhone4 but will not download my contacts. The bluetooth keeps saying "failed download". Any ideas that can help? Thanks in advance!

Car kit HF 510

Does anyone know how to sinchronize the whole contact list between a E71 and the car kit hf 510? I have to do it one by one.
Another thing. Is it possible to update the HF 510 software?

Unfortunately your E71 does not have PBAP = Phone Book Access Profile so Bluetooth can only send contacts by OPP = Object Push Profile but as far as I can remember you can mark a block of contacts to send this way, but of course I may be corrected here.

Car Kit 112 and Blackberry Curve

Can anyone assist? I have recently bought a Citroen Picasso which came with the Car Kit already installed. I am able to connect car kit and phone but when I try to make a call, the system closes down after about 20 seconds. Up to that point everything appears to be working as it should. Any ideas and suggestions would be gratefully received.

This is a very old kit, and even if you could get it to pair there will be a terrible echo. Sorry to say but it's time to upgrade. A ck-100 will work very well with the Blackberry.

CARK 91 CAR KIT

My 6310i has just died on me and I need to upgrade
but I have a plumbed in car kit as old as the phone.
Does the cradle fit any modern phones or is there an
adapter available.

Actualy there is a bluetooth adapter available that simply plugs into the cradle. It upgrades an existing fitted Cark-91 into a Bluetooth enabled car kit. We have tested it with an E51 and it worked well.
Search for cark11w on google and you will find suppliers for it.

N96 - TV crash on BT audio to Car Kit

Good evening everyone, haven't been here for a while.
My car has been serviced for 10 days, so I had a chance about being forced to use earphones while using the phone in the car.
You know that I am a "in-car" TV user, mostly tuned on a 24h/day news TV channel, hearing news.
In the past I have noticed a problem within audio streamed via Bluetooth the Car Kit (CK-300): within a range of ten minutes, the TV player crashes with no warning and there is no way to restart the player without rebooting the phone.
Basically, right after the crash, the TV icon is shown although the player isn't running anymore, probabily because something is hang in the phone memory somewhere.
Well, the ten-days period on earphones showed clearly that there's no such problem when listening TV using earphones; no crashes at all.
So the problem lies into the BT protocol or into the TV player when delivering audio through BT to the C.K.
Nice if someone could investigate before releasing new firmware (on 30.033 now)

More data for Nokia: when the TV player is running a small, user manual undocumented icon appears. Once the TV player crashes, the icon is still there, acting as if something is still running, that could be the reason why there is no way to resume, if not rebooting... maybe a symbian debugging utility could help?
