E71 bluetooth does not pair with my car bluetooth

my old Nokia phone paired with my car , however having just upgraded my phone to an E71 it will not pair, does anyone know how to resolve this - thanks

To set automatic bluetooth connections go to MENU - CONNECTIVITY - BLUETOOTH, at the top of the scree you will see the word Bluetooth then abluetooth icon and spanner; curser to the right to the next twin bluetooth icon where it will show all the paired devices. If there are none listed go to the options soft-key and select "New paired device". If you have previously paired a device select it, if not search for devices then connect. Choose "authorise device" to connect automatically in future. Having said all that, and done all those things, my E71 still wont connect to authorised devices!! It must be a software problem with the E71 because my N96 and X6 have all worked perfectly automatically with the same devices the E71 won't!! Come on Nokia give us a software update to fix this problem; PLEASE.

you can't tranfer files with the built in program that apple gives you, you may (i belevie) download an app that allows you

There is nothing to solve. Pairin with another phone is not a supported BlueTooth protocol. The exception being pairing for some multi-player games.

There is so much on the forum, and I am not seeing the answer since I am working. I just purchased an expense bluetooth to workout with and it will not pair with my iPhone 6 plus. Is there a solution yet?

What is an "expense bluetooth". Does it have a brand name and model number? is it compatible with the iPhone? Have you put it in pairing mode and paired it with the iPhone? Has it ever been paired with another device?

Was it pairing before the iOS update?
If so, delete the pairings in the device and the car, then try again.
If it was not, the issue is most likely the car.

IMac (Mountain Lion) does not pair with Apple Remote

Hi,
my iMac (2009, Mountain Lion) does pair with my remote. Otherwise the remote (or remotes, I tried two) are working fine with the iMac, it just wont pair.
I need it to pair as I have an iMac and MPB and each having its own remote (each computer should react only to its remote, not the other computer remote)
I googled this extensively, here is what I did so far:
- obviously, trying the normail "pair remote" procedure as the support page says
- checking that infrared remote pairing is enabled and no other remote is currenly paired
- restarting Mac OS
- removing and reinsterting battery in remote
- making sure I am an Admin
- disabling the remote function in Plex and killing all Plex (and EyeTV and similar) processes via Activity Monitor (thought they might somehow limite the OS control over the remote)
- tried the same with another remote (does not pair as well)
This is very annoying.
Can anyone help out?

Does the remote remember which computer it is paired to? I though only the computer remebers that.
In any case, currently there is not remote paired to any computer (both computers have clean new Mountain Lion installations). And I cannot pair any remote to any of my machines. In between, I tried with the laptop as well, and it is not pairing as well. I also tried an (old, still working) third remote... nothing is happening.
Some apps seem to take control of the remote (e.g. pressing menu start Plex on my systems). Could that be the issue? Is there a Terminal command to give Mac OS back full control over the remote?
Or could it be something else? 'Is there an app for that' a la ForcePair.app?

I installed the official version of Windows 8 Pro and now my E6 will not pair with my PC anymore. When I was using Windows 7 Home Premium there was no issues after the update, Nokia Suite sync everytime. Any suggestions?

E71 Does not pair with Audio Blue-Ant bluetooth ea...

How can I get the E71 to recognize/pair with Blue-Ant earpiece (bluetooth connection). It will not detect it when attempting to pair.

The new 8.0.2 update DID NOT FIX THIS ISSUE AT ALL. After you power off and on with the phone, same issue as the 8.0, all 3 of my cars lost Bluetooth connection and shows no signal at all. Good job Apple, what a lousy update you guys did.

Bluetooth on my iphone 4s will not pair with my car anymore

This phone has worked with the bluetooth in my car for over a year. In the past 2 weeks it cannot find the device. I reset the phone and it worked fine for the past 3 days. Now it won't find the device again and resetting did not help either..... can anyone help me or do I need to go to the Apple Store?

I don't think that is the problem. I bought two iphone 4 from Verizon yesterday(Jul 6, 2011) with 2 hands frees.
I also have a built in car hands free with my Toyota Rav4.
So I started pairing bluetooth devices. One phone has no problem at all.
The other phone could succeed to pair one hands free, very slowly.
Then, it did not recognize either hands free no. 2 or toyota bluetooth.
I removed hands free #1 from the phone #2, and turn bluetooth switch then restarted - no recognizing device
I put phone #2 on dash board and restarted again - no recognizing device
I put phone #2 on cup holder, then restarted again - no recognizing device
Phone # 1 does not have any problem at all with all 3 hands free system.
I also recognized that phone #2's connectivity is quite slower than phone #1's. It also dropped several times in an hour I tried to buy some apps.
At that time I put phone #2 on the table, so it is not because of "death grip."
Both phone #1 and phone #2 are using iOS 4.2.6, so it cannot be solved by "software update."
I strongly suspect some hardware problem called 'lemon.'
People who spent their time and money updating software and changing bluetooth devices including hands-free should be compensated.
I think that the only solution is replace to a new iphone which is not a lemon.

I just updated my iphone 4 to IOS 6 this morning. I got in my car and tried to pair the phone with bluetooth but it did not pair. I removed the device from the car's memory and tried to re-pair the device but it did not function. Can I roll back my iphone's operating system to 5.1 or how do I fix this?

I just discovered the same issue today in my efforts to get alert times synced on my iCal and iPhone after noticing a difference yesterday. I have been using the iCloud calendar sync since iCloud first came out with zero problems. Today I discover how terrible this sync is. My wife and I use a macbook, imac, 2 phones and 2 ipads to enter in calendar information and we depend on a flawless sync for our work and family schedules.
First, the iCal on my iMac has default times that get applied to every singe item, even if that item had an alert beforehand. But this default alert time is not applied as an alert on my iPhone4 calendar just the imac. I haven't even looked at my macbook yet for fear of what i may discover. After changing alerts and unchanging them and activating default times and deactivating them and wasting time doing this i just need to go through every event on my iphone to make sure that is now correct since I use that the most. What an unbelievable hassle for a program that worked flawlessly beforehand. Apple needs to recify this and have the sync work like it did before.

I have already checked every setting I can think of, my phone is discoverable; I've tried with and without encryption; I've tried to connect to other phones; I have had the other phones try to pair with me...
When my husband's phone tries to pair with mine I get this message: Service not supported by other device. Same with my mom's phone and my dad's phone. All different brands, Nokia, Motorola, etc.
I have an LG HBM-770 Hands free device and it connects perfectly.
I am at wit's end...and I know it's probably something I'm doing wrong. HELP.

There is a few things to check to see if the Bluetooth is working properly.
1. Go to Options on the BlackBerry, and open Bluetooth.
2. Press the menu key and select Options.
3. Scroll down and are ALL of the Bluetooth services check-marked?
4. Next go back into the main Options of the BlackBerry.
5. Go into Security Options and then General Settings.
6. Is there anything that states an IT Policy Name?
You can always perform a reset to factory to make sure nothing security related is affecting the Bluetooth connectivity.

While it appears that the Mac is discoverable, since it is not seeing the speakers, you may need to check the documentation that came with the speakers to see if they are in discovery/pairing mode, and how to get them into that mode. Then try and pair them.

Jawbone's Jambox does not pair with Playbook
