E71 cannot choose which sip profile to use VoIP

I created several sip voip profiles, one for domestic call, another for international call. The problem is, when I dial a number and click on internet call, E71 will persistently use a certain profile merely. I cannot decide which sip profile to use.
Could you please give me some advice? Thx!

Thanks Carlo for your reply.
I have read again the link and you are correct that in using the preferred command together with localhost under POTS dial-peer, I can now select which correct path to choose for my outbound calls. I'm just not very strong with dial-peer and translation rules at the moment.
I will try this solution during the weekend and let you know. But it would have been better if there was a sample configuration for this option.

    Many thanks for the diagnostics.

  • Choose which content type to use in sharepoint 2013 list using InfoPath 2013

So, in my head it seems pretty simple and a feature that might be standard to InfoPath so much in fact I can't find anything on it... My goal is to a have one list where you can do a drop down or buttons to choose which content type to use.
I will be royally disappointed if this is not possible. =(
So, c'mon you giants of MS Support. Give me a happy answer.

    Hi Lincoln,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to use multiple content types in a list.
For achieving it, you can do as the followings:
    Open the list.
    Go to List Settings->Advanced Settings.
Under ‘Allow management of content type’, select ‘Yes’, click OK.
In the Content Types section, click ‘Add from existing site content types’
Then add the content types that you want to add, click OK
Go back to the list, click ITEMS->New Item, then all content types are displayed in the drop-down list
When you click an item, you can select the new item is created based on one of these content types
    I hope this helps.

  • Which sRGB Profile to use (HP sRGB Profile, ICC BPC, ICCnoBPC, or no profile)?

    Hi everyone,
May I ask something of you guys? I have a question that no one can seem to answer.
I don't know which is the best profile to use--the HP sRGB Profile, the ICC sRGB BPC, the ICC sRGB with no BPC, or no profile (just colorspace tagged as sRGB).
They are all sRGB_IEC61966-2, but the HP sRGB one that is native to older versions of CS (and possibly newer ones?) does not state whether it is BPC or nonBPC.
I have noted several things (and I know little of color profiles, so please excuse my ignorance):
    1) Firefox displays all the profiles the same way, except noBPC is shown with lighter blacks
    2) Adobe seems to represent the sRGB BPC and the HP sRGB similarly?
    3) Some people suggest using no profile, merely tagging the metadata to say sRGB
    4) The ICC website says that most V2 color profiles on the www are black scaled; other sites seem to say its the opposite: that BPC is a new thing to most people who save sRGB V2.....
    5) BPC = Black scaling.
Help ! I'm completely at a loss for what is the most future-proofed means to do this. Each road seems to have a disadvantage.
    Any help would be great
    Tod

I'm dropping in kind of late, here, and I haven't read the thread thoroughly, but I thought I would add a few cents worth about why you might want to choose certain profiles.
It's important to start with this:
Your choices of color profiles to use for the various functions in your system and for publishing images MUST be made individually, based on how you want to work, and what you anticipate the recipients of your images need.
Understand that there is no "one size fits all" answer, which is why you're given configuration choices.  It's important to actually understand color-management to make the proper choices, and many people fail to take the time to do so.
    Document Color Profiles
For general web publishing, many folks think it's a good idea to publish images in the sRGB color space and with an embedded sRGB profile.  This is because many browsers didn't used to do color management, and Windows in general assumes sRGB.  Even today, not all browsers do proper color management, and sRGB is just assumed in some cases.  If you are serious about web publishing, you probably want to learn just what Internet Explorer, FireFox, Safari, Chrome, and a number of others (and in all their various versions) actually DO regarding color-management, and knowing your intended audience make your own intelligent choices.
I'll add that as the browser landscape changes (and it is always changing), any "rule of thumb" about which profile to use for web publishing probably needs to be re-evaluated again at intervals in the future.
For sending images to family or friends electronically, pretty much the same thing applies as with web publishing.  Assuming a user is looking at the image you just sent him/her in Outlook or another mail client, the app may or may not be doing color management, and sRGB image data is probably most likely to be interpreted without problems.  However, you may know something about your recipient's color capabilities and make a different choice.
For sending images to print houses, quite often they want "standard" sRGB images as well.  However, if they DO offer wide gamut printing, limiting your images to sRGB will mean you won't get all the advantages of their full color depth and your prints may look a bit dull compared to what they could look like.  Don't assume; find out from them what their recommendations are for document color profile.  Again, details matter, and the more you know the better choices you can make.
    Working Color Profiles
What color spaces you choose to work in in Photoshop have something to do with the results you want to make, and also something to do with the workflow you're willing to adopt.  It may be that you prefer to work on color images in sRGB so that he RGB values you manipulate all through your processing will be the very same ones you provide in your published output images.  Or you may prefer to work with images of the widest possible gamut because you have need to print or otherwise publish your images with a wider gamut than sRGB.  You could even start work with a wide gamut profile (e.g., ProPhoto RGB) for the advantages in maintaining all your images' fidelity, then ultimately publish sRGB - you just have to be sure and make the proper conversion at some point in the workflow.
It's important to note that Photoshop's Color Settings define your preferences - i.e., how you want Photoshop to handle things (or set defaults or just let you know) when there are choices.  Personally, I like to check all the boxes so that I will be asked if an image isn't in my preferred color space.
Also note that the Camera Raw plug-in offers a choice of output color space that's separate from the main Photoshop settings.
    Device Color Profiles
Your display system can be calibrated and profiled.  Calibration generally describes the process of manipulating the output signals so that they are generally the right brightnesses - the response of your display is its Gamma, which should be close to 2.2 on a PC.  Once calibration is achieved, profiling a monitor is generally a matter of sending a bunch of different RGB values to it, seeing what it displays, measuring the difference between that and the ideal color, and setting up to make the proper corrections for future image displays.
You associate a monitor profile with your monitor using the operating system, even though the operating system only helps with color-management when applications request it.  You may wish to create a monitor profile that matches your monitor's display characteristics - there are devices that come with software and procedures to help you do this, and there are even ways you can do a rough job visually without a device.  This allows Photoshop and other color-managed applications to perform conversions to accurately represent colors from a document with its own profile on your monitor.
However, you have to understand that not every application on your system is color-managed, and you might actually be looking at RGB values expressed in a document color space and displayed on your monitor without transformation.  Also some transformations are done with shallow data and can introduce noise.  Perhaps you want to minimize the difference because there are tools you like that don't do color-management, or because you know that Internet Explorer 9 assumes your monitor displays sRGB.  It's normal that color-managed and non-color-managed applications can show the very same images differently on a calibrated and profiled system.  This confuses many folks
Note that the Windows default monitor profile is sRGB IEC61966-2.1.  Depending on your monitor, there can be advantages to making your display respond similarly to sRGB and just using sRGB for your monitor profile.
Many local printers can be profiled as well.  There are devices to allow you to do this.  However, some printers are "factory calibrated" and expect you to deliver the data in a particular profile - e.g., sRGB.
Moreover, there are configuration options to allow you to choose where to do color management during printing.  Photoshop, for example, provides a Color Management section in their Print dialog, and if you drill down to the printer driver's dialogs you may find that there are settings there as well.  You'll need to discover the best combination of these settings for your particular print needs.  Some combinations may work equally well, while you may find some have subtle advantages.  Not long ago I did a whole series of prints in which I manipulated the settings to go through all the different combinations with my HP printer, then critically compared the results.  I found that instructing Photoshop to do a conversion to the print driver's standard sRGB input profile, and disabling color management in the print drivers entirely gave me the best results.
    Summary
At the end of the day we're doing all this because: You'd like to be able to work on a document, print it and have the colors look as you expect, publish it online and have most people see it as you intended, and send it to others and have them see it as you did.
No conclusions or direct advice here; I'm just giving you some things to think about when making your color-management choices.

  • Can I choose which season artwork is used for display over the whole TV show?

I have a TV show with multiple seasons and multiple album covers, but iTunes chooses one to display over the whole show list that I don't like. Is there some way to choose which season cover is displayed over my whole show, you know, WITHOUT changing all the album artworks of all the episodes?

LaunchPad-Control was very useful to do exactly what you want on OS X Lion the developer has stated that there are problems when running on Mountain Lion and will not provide any support.
Your only option now is to create folders with related applications.  Click on an application in Launchpad then drop it onto another thus creating a folder then rename the folder to something meaningful.

  • Which j2Me profile to use for PocketPC?

Another JVM worth a try is Jeode from Insignia which is a standard software shipped with HP/Compaq. THough they support Personal Java 1.2 only at this time, but I believe they will ship with CDC/PP profile soon. Another more important fact is, Jeode is official JVM on Linux (Sharp Zaurus), PPC (HP iPAQ,Dell Axim) and Palm( Palm select Insiania as partner for new JVM to implemtn J2ME on PalmOS).
    check this thread,
Another vendor said to have CDC/PP support is Kadasystems.com, but I dont have hand on experience on that.
I had never use Crime JVM, how's your work on it?

  • Which color profile to use, if any, for web?

    Hi,
For years, I've been accustomed to saving JPGs for web use by including the sRGB color profile.
However, I now realize that IE either discards color profiles, or forces a new one on them (took me this long to notice because while I always proof-check my code through IE, I never paid close attention to image colors 'til now). Meanwhile, Firefox actually uses the ones the JPGs were saved with, so I see the exact same thing in Photoshop as I do in Firefox.
Anyway, as I was saying, I just noticed the colors are very different in IE. In fact, trying to match a hexadecimal color value with a JPG is pretty much impossible as long as both IE and FF interpret JPG colors differently.
As a test, I tried saving a JPG with no color profile included. Interestingly, it showed up near identically in both FF and IE.
Which begs the following question :
Why the hell have I been using color profiles all this time? :-(
Another observation I made is that the Adobe RGB color profile more closely resembles the No Color Profile state than sRGB does (sRGB is a lot less saturated color-wise).
So what is it I need to do now?
    1. Go over the entire website and re-save all images with no color profiles.
    2. Go over the entire website and re-save all images with Adobe RGB color profile.
The goal here is that I want my hexadecimal color values to match what's on the JPG (for example, when a gradient ends and goes to a flat color state, I'd like to be able to fill that region with a hexadecimal color value instead of using more images needlessly... but for this to be a seemless transition, everyone needs to agree and match).
    Thanks.

I've been doing something completely different.
To the extent that a color needs to match or be like a color that is a background on my website (which is the usual issue I run into with color differences), I make a .PNG or .GIF file and use transparency. That way I don't get the problems associated with color profiles and web safe colors.

  • How do I choose which video card AE uses?

    Howdy,
I have two video cards in my system which I use for editing, motion grahics and animation.  My new card has 3x the amount of ram as the older card yet AE chooses the older card for previews.  Is there somewhere I can change that in prefs?
    Thanks,
    Curtis

Regarding video RAM: There is some benefit in giving the OpenGL renderer more texture memory (if you're using the OpenGL renderer at all, that is).
    from "Render with OpenGL":
"To modify the amount of texture memory, choose Edit > Preferences > Previews (Windows) or After Effects > Preferences > Previews (Mac OS), click OpenGL Info, and enter a value for Texture Memory of no more than 80% of the installed video RAM (VRAM) on your video card."
The default is set way too low for modern cards, which have so much more memory.
But, all that said, the OpenGL renderer isn't really worth giving much thought to in After Effects. I only ever use it for the OpenGL - Interactive previews.

  • Can I choose which Video Card SpeedGrade uses by default?

I have a Nvidia GTX 480 which has one monitor on it that I use for color correction.
I also have a GTX 275 that I have 2 older monitors on it for extra realestate.
When I use speed grade it appears to be utilizing my gtx 275 by default acording to the display setting in SpeedGrade.
I want it to utilize the GTX480. Can anyone help me out with this?
Also I have 2 monitors horizontal and my 480 color correction monitor is in Portrait mode. Speed Grade doesn't seem to be very custom workspace friendly. Can I set it up like I can in Premiere? Currently I can't use dual monitor correctly as it doesn't work well on the to landscape monitors. All the dimensions are wrong for filling the monitor screen.
Any advice for setting SG up?
    Thanks.

    Hey Paul,
I would typically use the "0" button on the numpad for easy comparison between grade / no grade. If you want to be more granular, use the dot (or colon on some other languages) on the numpad to disable the current layer active in the layer stack.
The split screen option can be really handy once you add a second playhead.
Check this for some more info:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/speedgrade/using/playheads.html
If you want a more traditional A/B split between graded / ungraded footage, I suggest to simply create a copy of the entire timeline (you can do so by using the drag handle, then hold down CTRL and simply move the mouse up a bit beyond the current timeline. Then release it - you got a full blown copy. Sounds harder than it is once you've don it once )
You can then turn off grading for the second timeline.
This is also rather useful if you want to compare online vs. offline data (to ensure you got all edits, correct shots onlined etc.).
    Hope this is helpful.
    Pat
One other question: I am trying to run splitscreen or side by side view on the dual display window, I have it running  but it is not showing any color comparasons. Both images are showing the same color looks applied. it won't show Graded vs Ungraded. This goes for any configuration, ie split screen or side by side. Thoughts?
    Thanks.

  • Installed Arch on second partition, cannot choose which OS to boot in

Hello. I setup Arch on a second partition and installed everything and installed grub on my root partition, but when I rebooted the system, I wasnt given a boot menu.. it Just defaulted to windows. Heres my setup:
    /dev/sda1 Windows
    /dev/sda2 Swap
    /dev/sda3 Root
Now.. I didnt flag Root as bootable and Im thinking thats it.. is it? and there was one other thing.. in my /mnt/boot/grub/menu.lst file.. I edited the windows XP entry as such:
    # Windows XP
    title Windows XP
    rootnoverify (hd0,0)
    chainloader +1
there was a line "makeactive" inbetweee rootoverify ad chainloader.. that wasnt part of the wiki so i deleted it.. is there something else im missing?

Did you install GRUB to MBR or a partition? It needs to be in the MBR to work.
Alternatively, you can use winfailure's boot.ini file to specify that you want to chainload from NTLDR to GRUB, which will work, but you'll need to know exactly where you installed GRUB to do that method.
Also, you were wise to remove that "makeactive" - that'd set the winfailure partition to bootable, negating GRUB on futher boots.
Lastly, GRUB doesn't require that disks be made "active" - the GRUB MBR code is "hardwired" with what partition to chainload to, it's a smart little application.

  • Can you make a menu for the right-click search so that when I highlight text and search, I can choose which search engine to use?

If you Highlight text you can right-click on it to pull up a short menu. One option is "Search x search engine for 'highlighted text'" Previously, the search engine selected would be whichever search engine was selected on the search bar, so Google or Amazon.com, etc. Because you can no longer change that selection before you search, the search engine is set to your default. Was an annoyance before, but now it's just a hindrance.

Strongly recommend Context Search extension which will solve your problem

  • Cannot choose library with option key

    Well, guess it's my turn...
Am afraid I've done something stupid.
At current, my most immediate problem is that I cannot choose which Library to open. Even when I press the Option key, iPhoto just opens normally without asking me which Library I want to use.
There are no more photos in it however, as I deleted those.
It's probably best if I explain how I got to this point.
I bought a 2nd hand Powerbook a few weeks ago (PB 12", 768MbRAM, 60GB, cd burner, dvd reader)
Wanted to re install OS as it was 2ndhand and have everything 'new'.
However, by the time I could do this, I had already imported quite a lot of photos and keyworded them. So as part of my backup before Erase&Install, I burnt all these to cd, which came to 3 CD's.
Upon completion of new install, I tried to re import photos. Got the photos double in the library and with no key words. Decided to empty it again and look into a solution later. When checking, when I opened iPhoto from the CD, the key words were there, no problem.
As did not have access with my PB to Internet lately, this took some time.
In the meantime I had to empty my camera (Canon powershot sd100) and therefore down loaded those.
Almost forgot this until I yesterday I finally got round it.
After searching on the discussions, found something similar and tried that: insert CD and then drag the Library to the desk top, with the aim of joining them together there.
It told me there already was a Library (this was the one with the last batch from the camera).
Then burnt these pics/ library as well, with the following result: mixed up key words - its only a few dozen pics though, so this is not a major problem, can reassign key words easily (btw, have delivered a bug report Old Toad :))
When trying to copy Library nr 1 from the discs, it told me "A newer item named 'iPhoto Library" already exists in this location. Do you want to replace it with the older one you are moving?" STOP REPLACE
As I have the new pics that are in there on CD, choose replace.
When finished copying, opened iPhoto with this library (Library 1) with the
option key, and found out the following:
have in the meantime upgrade iPhoto with a newer version...
when I then say yes, upgrade all pics come in nicely, but without the key words... checked, there are no key words on this CD either, so that's normal.
So, went on with 2nd disc (which HAS the key words on the CD).
Had to rename the first one I dragged in, done.
Then just before this 2nd disc finished copying, it tells me 'The operation cannot be completed because an item with the name dir.data already exists.'
Clicked ok, let it finish, then deleted this Library nr 2 again, moved Library nr 1 to a different folder and then repeated dragging Library 2 to the desk top.
    No problems this time.
Opened iPhoto with the option key, checked Library No 2, shows ok, including the key words.
Checked back with opening Library no 1. Fine. Then moved and renamed Library no 2 in preparation for dragging disc 3 to the desk top.
After some thought, realised I didn't know how to join the 4 libraries I had by now. Seen how Library no 1 did not have key words, figured I could open with No2, then simply import No1 into no2.
However, could not get No2 to open again.
I now know this is because I renamed and moved it after having opened already another library, but last night I didn't.
Tried to use option key while opening, but this didn't work, it did not ask me to choose a Library, but just opened with No1!
To try to solve it, tried deleting No1 from Finder, then from Library in iPhoto, even emptied the Trash (I felt secure because I have it all on CD).
Then I tried again to open Library No2 while using the Option key when opening iPhoto. No chance to choose library again.
It just opens, shows "loading photos" and then comes up with a black screen.
Tried to delete iPhoto and re install it.
No difference. The new install even has the key words I created in it ea

    Hi Marlies,
So basically what you have are 4 libraries with different names all in the Pictures folder.
You want to join the libraries to create one library.
Problem: iPhoto is being a jerk and not letting you choose a library, even after you have chose each of the libraries before and they all worked.
Possible solution: Delete the Preference file and try again
    Preference file
Possible solution: Download iPhoto Library Manager to mage the 4 libraries or even merge them
    iPhoto Library Manager
    iPhoto Library Manager documentation
this page will show you everything you can do with iPhoto Library Manager.
You can also try iPhoto Buddy
Possible solution: You can open one library and then use the menu command "add to library" .
So you open one library, then use the "add to library" command and then navigate to one of the libraries and choose it. Do this for each of the libraries. What will happen when you do this is outlined on Page 2
