E71 Exchange 2003 Calender sync issue

Hi guys,
one of my colleagues has a e71 and want's to sync his mailbox with MFE 3.0.
Everything is getting synchronized, except for the exchange calendar. Unfortunately no entry is getting synchronised from Exchange. The strange thing is, that two other colleagues have excatly the same mobile phone with the same software level.
Does anyone have had the same strange behaviour?
Any kind of information regarding this issue is very much appreciated
kind regards
Gottfried

Hi deep9,
thanks for your posting.
So this problem is already well known or did i miss something here?
Can you tell me if there is already a fix for this?
Thank you!

  • Outlook 07 Calender sync issues

    Hello all
I have spent about 2 hours trawling the internet looking for an answer to my problem, and though several other people seem to be experiencing it I can not find a solution.
My Outlook was synching fine with my BB until a few weeks ago when all the future appointments were deleted from Outlook, though remain on my BB Pearl.  I can continue to synch all other parts of Outlook (tasks, memos etc) but I can not transfer any of the appointments back to my computer/web access.  I have tried re-installing desktop manager (tried v4.5 to see if the bug had been sorted), deleted service books, left only the exchange server settings and desktop (so as not too have two calenders with gmail), hard reset on phone, synching one way with desktop manager etc, but no luck.  I wasnt that bothered before, but I am away for 5 weeks in the wilderness and I want all my data backed up before I leave.
    My set up
Blackberry Pearl 8210 on Orange UK
    Desktop manager 4.5
Outlook Exchange 2003 (our IT department does not support enterprise solution) so email collected using internet service
    Outlook 2007
    Windows XP
Happy to synch calender over USB as know wireless synch is not supported (the setting is switched off on all calenders).
Do not use gmail calender, but would be useful if i could continue to collect emails, but not that bothered if it means my calenders match up on my desktop/exchange web access/BB.
If someone could please give me some advice/a solution I would be very grateful.
    Many thanks in anticipation

    Hello,
Are you using Exchange account? Do you have cached Exchange mode enabled?
Does this issue happen to multiple users or just a couple of them?
Does this issue come back after you recreate the local Outlook profile? If this fix the issue permanently, it may be the profile or data file corruption that is causing the issue.
Since there is an interval for Outlook to sync updates, to ensure the all items are updated, we may try pressing the
Update Folder button under Send/Receive tab to reduce the double-booking.

  • Exchange Mail Re-Sync Issue

One of our users out in the Far East is having an issue with this ipad where everytime he changes to a new WiFi network the Exchange mailbox reloads and re-syncs? I've seen this happen once on my iPad here in the UK but the issue is happening all the time with the aformentioned user. Has anyone heard of or seen this before?

    Thanks Gyrhead.
I understand there are restrictions on the support of the devices from a policy perspective but i wouldn't imagine that this would cause any issues with the mailbox re-initializing or reloading.
Since my first post the user has wiped his device back to factory defaults and then reconfigured the native e-mail client with his exchange account. For the first couple of days he experienced no issues as he previously reported, but now the issue has started again. His exchange account is currently on Exchange 2003 and he is based in Vietnam.
    Any ideas?
To re-iterate the issue. User has setup an account with the native e-mail client on the ipad connected to his exchange 2003 account. Whenever he changes to a different WiFi network, the inbox clears down (goes blank) then re-synchronizes/reloads the inbox contents!
    Cheers in advance

  • Calender Sync Issues

When I sync my Outlook 2003 calender with the BB via Desk Top Mananger 4.3 my appointments seem to randomly change.
    For Example:
-An All day event will change from free to busy status
    -Reminders will change to none
Has anyone encountered this issue?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Having problems with Microsoft Exchange ans the Sync Issues, Conflicts folder

Ever since our company started using the Exchange we have been getting double/triple up's of emails.
They seem to go to the inbox ok but then extra copies go to the sync/conflicts folder, which when stored on the exchange, fills up the mailbox, which is a pain.
I'm using Outlook 2007 and everyone else are using Outlook 2010.
I have found the Sync Issues folder on my Outlook and here are 2 examples:

    Hi,
For your highlight part, This issue occurs if the Outlook client computer is configured to use proxy settings when Windows Internet Explorer is used. However, the IP address of the Exchange 2007 Client Access Server (CAS) server is not in the exclusion list.
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
1.Start Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
2.On the Connections tab, click LAN settings.
3.Click to select the Bypass proxy server for local addresses check box, and then click Advanced.
4.Type the FQDN of the Exchange 2007 CAS server, and then click OK.
    5.Restart Outlook.

  • Exchange 2003 email sync

Hello everybody, how can I sync my Office email (server exchange 2003) with my Mac air. And the calendar too. Witch is the best email software should I use. Many tanks for your support.

    Hi mehrardt,
It does sound like the exchange email account has to be removed from the iPhone and then added again.
If he has another personal email account on the iPhone, you can have him delete the exchange account and then tap a configuration profile that you emailed him.
The iPhone Configuration Utility available here: http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/enterprise/ will let you create a configuration profile with certificates, which you can email. The receiver would just tap the profile and it would configure the iPhone.

  • Exchange 2003 Active Sync - Contacts not showing up on BB10

Hi Everyone, i am hoping someone can help.  We have been assumig all along the problem was with our Exchange Server 2003 config and new informaiton has come to light that makes me believe now it is a device issue and I am hoping someone has seen this problem.
The core probllem is that contacts are not syncing propertly.  They are syncing VERY slowly - it has been 7 Hours and only a hundred or so have moves over.  The assumption was they werent copyng over, however new information has led us to potentially believe they are coming over but are being processed by the Z10 and not showing up in the contact list.
My unit is hooked up to my car on bluetooth and everytime i start my car - it copies over my contact list.  I then noticed that there are contacts which have been copies over, which do NOT show up yet on my blackberry (but are in my exchange contacts) - so my car found the contact from the Z10 and now 3 hours later, that contact is still not in my BB Contacts.  I know for sure that contact wasnt cahced in my car memory, as it is a new contact i created on my office computer only a few hours prior....
This is making me believe that the Z10 is processing the contacts in some way or the index on my BB contacts is bad.
What have I dont todate to resolve the issue:
    - complete wipe and reload (3 times)
    Today:
Removed the battery and restarted - numberous times
Interestingly, everytme i reboot the device, more contacts appear in my list???  Considering i have approx 800 contacts, this would only mean i have about 500 reboots left before my contacts are all there?
    HELP

    Hi Jjang,
To resolve this for you it would really help if we could gather logs and do some testing. Could you please ask your wireless service provider to open a case with BlackBerry on your behalf so we can look after this for you?
    Thanks.

  • Exchange 2003 Calendar Template Issue

Users are getting "This message has been rejected by the Exchange organization to which it was sent, because the message contains either a large number of attachments or because there are too many
nested attachments. To solve this problem, reduce the number of attachments or nested attachments, and resend the message."
We have a shared mailbox with a published default calendar form that has "checkboxes" in it.  The form does not have any nested emails.  The size of the form is about 307kb.
When the users click on an the calendar to add an appointment, then send the apt out to various users, the form gets corrupt.   I think it's related to the various Outlook versions we use.   My environment:  Exchange Server 2003, users
that use "Tasking" templates are on Outlook 2007 and all other users are on Outlook 2010.   The calendar templates are created in Outlook 2010 so I'm wondering if the Outlook 2007 clients are having trouble "reading" the templates.
UPDATE:  I created the templates using Outlook 2007 and still experiencing random "bounceback" messages:
"This message has been rejected by the Exchange organization to which it was sent, because the message contains either a large number of attachments or because there are too many nested
attachments. To solve this problem, reduce the number of attachments or nested attachments, and resend the message."
Example:  User sends out a test message to 3 people.  All 3 people get the original message.  When the original person tries to send an update (like changing the time of the meeting), the user will get the bounceback for above.
The user then sends out a cancelation and some of the users get it and some don't.   Very strange and unpredictable.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  We are wanting to move to Exchange 2010/2013 but the non-support of our tasking features is holding up our upgrade.

  • Exchange Cached mode sync issue.

I had an issue where one of the exchange servers did not initiate, so people had full email items on their webmail, but did not get those on their Outlook. Is there some way to ensure that if the exchange server you are connected to in a domain goes down,
you can get those emails sync without turning off cached mode and turning it back on?

It's not my experience that you need to turn off and on cached mode to recover from a server failure.

  • Mail vs. Exchange: sender field / sync issues

I've been using an Exchange account in Mail for Mac for several months without problems, but for the last week or so issues have been showing up. Some e-mails I receive don't correctly show the from field: there's no distinction between the sender name and e-mail address, and when I click reply the address isn't recognized. It shows up like e.g. "John Smith [email protected]", making it impossible for Mail to make out the e-mail address.
This only happens in Mail - when I open the same message on my iPhone or in OWA it appears correctly. When I reply to the message from there, Mail for Mac syncs the reply and the sender field is magically fixed.
What could cause this problem? I haven't done any updates to either my OS or Mail before this problem started.

  • Microsoft Exchange Server Active Sync issue

When I purchased my Droid Incredible I set up my account for my work email.  My job uses Microsoft exchange server so I had no issues getting setup and started.
A week later my email stopped syncing.  I deleted the account and set it up again.  That temporarily fixes the problem.  Another week passes and I have the same problem.  I reset my phone and set up the my email account again.  No issues until one week later when it does it again.
Unless I can find a solution to this problem I think this phone will have to be returned.  Don't get me wrong, this phone is great but email is the reason I purchased this phone.  There are 52 weeks in a year.  I can't see myself resting my email account every week.
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Thx
    TainoE

I had the same problem when I first purchased the phone back in May. I had about 60,000.00 emails from the past 5 years in my main server at work  that I had not deleted. My IT guy told me that I had to delete my old emails and that the INC works from the main server and I had way over the amount that I should have. I work for a very busy RE firm in NYC and we get about 150 emails a day, which ads up fast. Once I dld as he suggested the phone has not had one problem w/ outlook or syncing again. The Iphone works in the exact same way.  BB's operate from their own server so are not as effected by this as much. The  phone  works great with outlook, and actually quicker and better than my BB. Good luck!!

  • Exchange 2010 & Ipad Sync Issues

I have a user that started having problems syncing up his Ipad to his exchange account.  He has an Android that he can sync okay.  He syncs the Ipad okay but the Inbox shows that he has no email.  So far he is the only one in our
environment that has reported any issues.  About 3 weeks ago I upgraded our exchange environment from SP1 to SP3, this weekend I updated SP3 to rollup 5 which did not fix the issue.  Here are some trouble shooting steps I have tried to no avail:
    Deleted partnership from Exchange
    Deleted phone account from OWA
Deleted account from Ipad and readded - will sync gets message "No Mail" in Inbox
I do notice that when he re-synced no partnership showed up in Exchange or OWA
Made sure Inheritable Permissions box is checked in AD
Get-CASmailbox information matches mine, mine works fine.
I can sync okay on my Iphone, I had him use my Iphone to sync his account and he gets the same "No Mail" message.

  • Outlook 2007 calender sync issues

Ok I've searched forms and read till cross eyed. I have a BB 8330 Software 4.5 DTM 5.0.1, I recently had to replace my BB. I noticed the other day that every thing was syncing up but my Calender. Now before all this every thing worked Fine so far. I've uninstalled and installed multiple times DTM & Microsoft office to no end with the same result. Now I should also mention that I had My personal and work e-mail set up and both worked fine. My Work e-mail was recently changed that now we use Outlook exchange server(?). I tried to set up Outlook to receive my Outlook exchange work e-mail, Didn't work So I ended up deleting the e-mail set up in outlook for my work e-mail . Now I also have the work e-mail set up on the BB to receive via POP3 which was fine and worked, now it doesn't so I deleted it. Now I've tried multiple thing found in this form but nothing works. My default e-mail is set in my BB as default,Outlook has only one e-mail address the same as my default in my BB. Have tried resetting the sync to both ways, one way nothing works. I was wondering if I restore my BB back to a point before this all started if this would solve the problem. I know it long but I don't know where else to turn. Thanks

  • IOS Exchange Account Contact Sync Issues

Issues: (1) Duplicate, Triplicate, Quadruplicate, Quintuplicate Contact Entries (2) Erratic Proliferation (3) New Inputed Contacs Disappear, Reappear and Disappear, never to be registered in the exchange service. (4) Problem started with iOS 5. More Info: iPhone 4, iPhone 4s and iPad1. One Windows 7 desktop and One Windows 7 notebook. Microsoft Office 365 Online service.
For years I have been using Exchange to sync my e-mail, calendar and contacts, across my windows machines and my ios devices. Since some months ago, my contact entries started to profilate erraticaly on my iPhone and iPad, some times duplicating and other times triplicating or quintuplicating all or some of entries. The solution was to UNCHECK and RE-CHECK sync contact information inside the mail settings of the ios device. Number of entries were not affected in Outlook or the Online Web Server. Most recently, contacts inputed in the iOS device, on the road, disappeared, reappeared and disappeared again in the iOS device, never to be registered by the Exchange server, losing vital information.

I noticed that you have all mentioned iPhone 4s, to be the ones with this issue.  A handful of my end users just upgraded to the new iPhone 4s and they are having this issue.  However, one of the users with the issues still uses their iPhone 4 for international and that one works fine.
My iPhone 4 is running iOS 5.1.1, my MBP 17" 2010 model running Lion they both work fine with both Office 365 and Exchange 2010.
This may just be an issue with the iPhone 4s.  Since ActiveSync just synchronizes, then it's skewing up the Contacts folder, hence spreading it to the other devices.
Microsoft is holding Apple responsible, since other devices with EAS work just fine, and Apple reps claim that this will be resolved in the next update; how long must we have to wait?!?!?
