E71 Installation Menu View problem

I was getting a system error 20 when trying to access the programs in my "installation" menu. I decided to restore factory settings. It's working now but the view doesn't change when I try to go into the installation menu. Somehow, it got stuck in the main menu view. It still shows the main icons like communications, office, log, connectivity, etc... But when I hit the office icon it opens up my contacts, when I hit communications, it opens up my app. manager.
The funny thing is, when I hooked my E71 to my computer to download stuff, everything seems to work fine.
Can someone help?

The menu view of my nokia e71 has changed radically. the installations,connectivity,media,tools etc all the folders have disappeared and all their contents (buetooth,infrared,gps,realplayer,recorder etc) are cluttering up the menu. i want all the folders back with their contents in them. what should i do to get back the normal menu view?

try the following
2.*#7370# - Reformat your phone (out of the box, tho keep in mind that most newer nokia phones at least n series, e series and s60 based phones have udp - user data preservation so not ALL data may be lost. still it is a good idea to always do a back up of your stuff.)3. This you perform as a last resort. Nothing else is working.If the phone is not showing any activity, proceed with hard formatting , turn off your phone, hold the following buttons while pressing the power button. (the default code is 12345)
3. hard reset - hold the following buttons * (star key), 3 (number button) and talk/green key. turn on the phone and do not release those buttons until you see the Nokia boot up screen. once you feel the phone power up you can let go off the power button while still holding all three buttons

DW CS5 "Design View" Problem

I've recently migrated to Dreamweaver CS5 on a new Intel Mac from Dreamweaver CS4 on a G5.
I installed Dreamweaver CS5 for the first time on the new computer and copied my local site folders over from the G5.
I did not initially copy the site definitions file from the G5, or any of DW CS4's preferences.
When I opened one of my sites in DW CS5 on the new box, I noticed the html file could only be viewed in 'code view'- the 'split' snd 'design' buttons were grayed out, and the menu items in the "View" menu- 'view' and 'code and design'- were also grayed out and could not be selected...
I thought "that's strange.."
So to troubleshoot- first, I tried managing the sites properly in CS5 by going to the "Manage Sites.." menu item in the "Site" menu and defining those site folders on the new computer.
That worked fine but didn't cure the problem, so I copied over from the G5 all the DW CS4 prefs I could find, and the DW CS4 site def file, placing all those items in their appropriate locations on the Intel box. That didn't cure it either, so now I'm wondering- when I created those sites originally on the G5 with DW CS4, did I limit their forward compatibility by choosing to format in a particular flavor of html?

The usual reason is that you've got that file extension (e.g. .html) listed under:
Edit > Preferences > File Types / Editors > Open in Code View (based on its behavior, that should be labelled "Open only in Code View")
If that's the case, removing the file extension from the list usually fixes it.

E 63 Youtube viewing problem

E 63 Youtube viewing problem.
When i click on the youtube movie clips first Real Player opens for a second and then it shows
First tries to connect.
"Unable to connect" after that it shows
"Rtsp Temp" not saved. Save now? and gives a Yes and No option.
If you press Yes , it shows saves to Galary
If you open the Galary u will find the file is saved in Galary Stream links.
When u try to open it, it says Define defaulat access point and stops.
Please let me know how to solve this.

i had this on my phone
try this
go to menu > media > real player > options > settings > streaming > network > default access point
change it to the access point u would use to connect to the internet
u will have to keep changing this option if u plan to use different wlan connections

Installation menu always results in Abort Installation? ThinkPad 600E

i am trying to install arch 0.7.1 to my old ThinkPad 600E. when the installation menu appear no matter what menu option i select i get the same prompt: Abort Installation? if i try to see if there are any error messages using alt+f<1-4> there is nothing. from what i saw on forum people who have this problem had a problem with /tmp. however, with mount i see that /tmp was mounted as tmpfs with rw permission. the only thing i do see is during boot from CD and it's:
Loading /tmp/.mnt/addons/utils-jfs.tar.bz2
tar: Invalid tar magic
the same thing goes for:
utils-kdb.tar.bz2
utils-keymaps.tar.bz2
utils-lvm.tar.bz2
utils-mdamd.tar.bz2

utils-pcmcia.tar.bz2
utils-reiserfs.tar.bz2
utils-wireless.tar.bz2

E71 hanging - Menu function does not work

I bought an E71 from the Nokia store 4 weeks ago and have had it replaced thrice already.
The phone suddenly hangs and the Menu key stops working. At the same time it also stops automatic retrieval of email. Other dedicated keys work.
The Nokia store does not have a solution for this, but just replace the instrument. After going through this process three times, they're offering the money back.
Its taken me forever to find a phone that i like, so would prefer to find a fix. Any ideas? Please help.

The company I work for bought 15 employees Nokia E71's at the end of January. So far 12 of the 15 have been having the menu button problem. This is, when using one of the 2 buttons we set to link to the menu button, it does not leave the home screen i.e. you cannot access the menu - which is a really big problem for efficiency for business purposes (which is what the phone is marketed towards). To fix this problem, I approached the retailer who's only solution was to send it off for repairs. So I took it in for repairs myself, to save mailing delays. The service centre confirmed that they have seen it before and it's irreparable as it happens to all E71’s, and it just needs to be turned off weekly otherwise it cannot handle all the applications etc. I was also told that it must be due to my corrupt applications, however, I have not downloaded anything onto the phone! They updated my software twice - which did not solve any problems. They gave me Nokia's care line phone number in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia to see what I can do to fix them problem (ie. a replacement phone). Nokia's only personal contact is in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, which is not helpful being in Australia! Of course, they're only solution was to re-set my phone to factory settings, which similarly to your fellow comments - does not do anything. Also there was apparently NO other complaints recorded about this menu issue. I was told Nokia have a policy that there are no replacements given even if your phone is under warranty &/or brand new. It was suggested to just take it back to the service centre until my phone is fixed. Unfortunately this is a non rewarding experience and a major time issue for the business users of the E71. So, the conclusion is to switch off and on your E71 daily/weekly to ensure your business phone can be ‘relied’ on.

"Code & Design" and "Code & Live" view problem i am getting in Dreamweaver CC 2014

Please anyone help me.
I have 2 webpages, one is with 12 columns fluid grid based and another is without fluid grid based.
Both are open in same site folder in Dreamweaver CC 2014.
I want to resize/edit my fluid grid div column in design view.
But i m not getting the proper menu (view-->Code and Design)
why the problem is happening ?
If my non-fluid page is active for edit purpose than i am getting the "View"-->"Code and Design"
if my fluid page is active for edit purpose than i am no getting the "View"-->"Code and Design"
but i am getting "View"-->"Code and live"
i am unable to resize my fluid div using the resize handler.
this is fluid based, i need "code and design view"
this is non-fluid based

It's an "improvement" made to the October release to promote more people to use Live View editing in FGLayouts. As we're finding out, the removal of Design View in FGLayouts is severely impacting people's workflows.

How to increase Menu Viewer

I am working on a complex menu with tiny buttons on an overlay. I was wondering whether there is any way to zoom or resize the menu view to make it easier to draw the buttons around the overlay? It appears that the menu is fixed in size...

If you are talking about Photoshop > Preferences > Interface > UI Font Size that refers to Panels (and needs a restart to take effect).
If the problem is that you have a high resolution monitor you may want to check out Photoshop CC 2014.

SharePoint 2010 Datasheet view problem - Office 2007 database engine download not fixing the issue

We rolled out new laptops (Dell Latitude E7440)/desktops with 64-bit Windows 7 and 64-bit Office 2013 a couple of weeks ago. We installed the 2007 Access Database Engine to enable Datasheet views on our SharePoint 2010 site for our employees, and it worked
before Thanksgiving. However, after the holiday, datasheet view is not working for anyone. I have my old 64-bit Dell laptop with 64-bit Office 2010/2007 Access Database Engine, and it still works there.
I have tried the x86 2007 Access Database Engine, the 2010 Access Database Engine, the Office 2013 Access Runtime, with 32-bit and 64-bit IE (trying any combinations to see if I can get datasheet views to work).
The one obvious difference is the new laptops have Office 2013. Has anyone run into this before, and is there a solution when the standard 2007 Access Database Engine download does not fix the datasheet view problem?

Coworker figured it out. After the 2007 Access Database Engine is installed, go to Internet Explorer, Tools menu --> Compatibility View Settings, and add your SharePoint website to the list. Your SharePoint datasheet list views should start working
after that. Might be something particular to Internet Explorer 11.

Remote Control and Remote View Problem

Hi,
I work at a High School running Netware 6.0 SP5 and Zen works 4.01 ir7.
Remote Control and Remote View works great but I noticed one problem.
We have a logo of the school that is forced down on to the desktop when a
user logs in through group policies. This logo works perfect for the
desktop wall paper and loads every time a user logs in.
When I Remote Control or Remote View a computer the users desktop wall
paper turns from the logo being forced down through group policies to the
desktop to a blue desktop wall paper.
I would prefer the desktop wall paper staying the schools logo when I
Remote Control or Remote View because if the desktop wall paper changes to
the blue color I mentioned above when I Remote Control or Remote View the
users computer, they will know that someone is taking over their computer
which sometimes we dont want them knowing.
We have Windows 98SE computer running Novell Client 3.4 and we have some
computers running Windows XP Professional SP1 and Windows XP Professional
SP2 both running Novell Client 4.91 SP2.
The Remote Control and Remote View problem of the desktop wall paper
changing on the users computer occurs on all operating systems mentioned
above.
Is there a solution to my above problem? When Remote Controlling and
Remote Viewing someone's computer I don't want the desktop wall paper to
change.

SE93. Enter a transaction name. Create. In the pop up enter a title and select 'Transaction with parameters'.
Next screen fill the following;
Transaction 'SM30'
Check 'Skip first screen'
In the table control at the bottom of the screen
Name of screen field 'VIEWNAME'
Value <your table name>
Name of screen field 'SHOW'
Value 'X'
Save.
Job done.

Adobe Content Viewer problem. Please Help me...

Hi after updating online. Folio, I tried to update the trial version of the publication on my iPad but I get this message: "the issue isavailable for dowload, but new signing for an application version. Update the application from the App Store. "I went to the AppStore and was not any update of the Content Viewer ... I deleted the version on my iPad I downloaded again ... but without success gives me the same problem ... Please help me ... how can I do??

As discussed in numerous threads already, the new viewer has not been approved by Apple yet.
If you’re a pro or enterprise customer you can create your own viewer app. If not, you’ll have to wait or roll back to the older tools.

Flash Player viewing problems

I'm having full screen video viewing problems on facebook which I hope to get resolved.When selecting a video to view on Facebook the video goes to about a 2" high strip across the bottom of the player. When this happens I have to click the full screen icon on the bottom right corner of player to view the video, so far this problem is only happening on FB. I would like to know what's causing this problem and how to get it resolved. I've got the current player version and all my Computer Software and Drivers are up to date

All files look almost as if they are in a draft mode. Doesn't matter witch file I open they all look the same. but very thing is printing out fine. Also I tried creating a test user and down loaded the trial version and it works fine.
