E71 problems: camera

E71-1, firmware version 100.07.76, 08-06-2008, RM-346
1. With the default settings, the camera takes pictures with a faint purple tint. This can be corrected somewhat by manually selecting the appropriate white balance.
2. There may be a delay of upto 10 seconds between the camera sound, and the actual image capture. This happens when two conditions are met: (a) the camera settings write to the memory card and (b) the memory card has a large number of files. This seems to be independent of the capacity of the memory card. Workaround is to set the camera to write to the phone memory, and manually move files to the memory card.

More on the camera delay problem. The workaround doesn't work consistently either. I now observe this problem even with the camera set to phone memory.
Google found a few links to other users with the same problem. Apparently Nokia Care has a firmware update which might fix the problem.
Unfortunately a trip to Nokia Care here requires one to
1. Buy a nice thick book.
2. Charge up your iPod (as your phone doesn't work)
3. Load a picnic basket.
4. Leave a note to your family to send out a search party if you don't come back after a week.

Go buy yourself a iPhone 5. Sync your iPhone 3GS to iTunes on you computer so you have a back up ready to put on the iPhone 5. If you want you can update your iPhone 3GS with iTunes on your computer, but this is not necessary.

I have gone through an upgradation project, which upgrades from lower version to higher version, there are some problem we could find and here are they:
1) There were some syntax errors for the variables.
sloution) we should relate them with new version variables and change them.
2) There were some FM to be changed according to the version
3) There were change in BDC also if the objects having BDC then we have to check whether it is functioning well or not, or the best way is to replace the BDC with BAPI, which is independent of version change, so further no problems if at all the version changes.
Is this information ok..this is what we did for that.

Where is your Library stored?

Firefox loads, but wont load any web pages. tabs say "untitled". page is blank below. uninstaled and reinstaled no change. problem came after recent update. any help?

Problem solved from prior post. Firefox had become blocked somehow by McAfee firewall. Set to full access. Now works perfectly.

3 Mobile/Nokia E71 Problems

My problem started sunday night
I have an AAA (access all area's) pass
i have a nokia E71
All of a sudden it stopped working, I contacted 3 customer care and they said everything looks fine on there end they made me go through troubleshooting about 5 different times and kept fowarding me on to different departments
ive done:
master resets
clear cache
clear cookies
privacy data
restarts
wipe sim
sim swaps
I tried to put my sim in another phone, didnt work
a blank sim put into my phone, didnt work
nothings working, anything that doesnt require the AAA pass works fine
but anything that uses it keeps stuffing up
I went into a three store and all the lady gave me was "im stumped"
she tried my sim in 5 different phones
she tried 3 different sims in my phone and none worked
then she gave me a blank sim card and transfered my number and it still didnt work
what's going on?
I'm getting quite sick of all the call fowarding, the technical staff all telling me to do the same things over and over again and none of it is solving my problem
even the three staff have no idea what the problem is...\
anyone got info?

A big problem: camera roll doesn't work

I cannot use the default "camera" to take photo. When I press the "taking photo" button or "volume + " button, the "camera" app would turn off and as a result return to the background.
I cannot really delete the photos in the camera roll as well. When I delete a photo in camera roll, it temporarily can. But when I close the "camera roll" and open again, the deleted photo appears again.
I cannot use ("power button" + "home button") to capture the screen as the screen picture captured will not appear in the camera roll.
I tried to turn the phone off and turn it on again, but the problem is still there.
In the "setting" --> "General" --> "About my phone", under "video" and "photo" categories, Normally, they would display the numbers which states respectively how many videos and photos that I have in my camera roll. But now they both display "2,147,483,647".
Before, I have connected the phone to the computer using USB wire in order to import the photos from the phone to the computer. I don't know whether this caused the problem.
How can I fix it? Please help.
Can restoration help? I used iCould to backup. Can I restore all the data and setting, including all the data in all the apps ?

PS: I am using iPhone 4 and iOS 5.

Your Camera Roll is corrupted. I don't know why or how, but if you can't delete any photos from it and it doesn't import photos via the cable about the only thing you can do is restore the phone.

E71 problem with recieving text from international...

I have purchased a nokia e71 10 days back.everytime someone tries to send me a message from india or any other country i dont recieve it.any body any ideas how to fix it?

The jar files which were used are downloaded from http://jarfinder.com. Those jars created the problem of displaying those messages on console. I downloaded APIs from apache.org and used them in my application. Now my application is running good.

E71 - Problem with Flashlite 3

Hi, I have this unsual problem with the flashlite. For E71 - it is suppose to be integrated with the web browser. It worked well for the first couple of days - however after that when I tried to watch clips from YouTube - the video did managed to load. instead - the portion where the video is suppose to be was left empty.
I googled and found that e90 has similar problem from www.allaboutsymbian.com. Steve from AAS suggested for users to format their phone - ie *#7370# for flashlite to work properly again. I formatted my phone at least 3 times - but still in vain.
Do any of you have similar problem? Any solution for that?

I have a similar problem, but when I put those files from a sd card to a phone memory, they show up. Otherwise I have to browse the phone to get those files

E71 problem with BT stereo headphones

I have got a E71 and I have a problem with the BT stereo headphones (Model Clip IIs of I-TECH I have some time with other phones and I have never given any problem) I use to listen to MP3s on my SD, and the fact that at some point the sound begins to 'stutter', that is no longer playing but continues to sobs, the sound comes and goes ... it does not always but sometimes, and sometimes no But often jumps out the problem and I have to close the player, wait a while 'and then restart it. Given that the first thing I did was upgrade to the latest version noBrand FW 110.07.127 RM-436 09/10/2008, but has not resolved ...

I think this is due to the phone's CPU getting overloaded by having to recompress the audio stream for A2DP (the BT profile used for stereo). Avoid running any other apps when you're listening to music and see what happens.

E71 bad camera

hi everyone i have a e71 on fw v200 now when i wanna take pictures at night i see lines in the window before taking pictures they have a red like tint is this normal? its only at dark and if i take a picture with flash the photo is without these lines but quality is not so good and at day there pretty much good quality for a business phone is there someting i can do in the settings for little better pictures @ night?

no the red lines are before i take a photo try by putting your finger against the lens and you will see it maybe before i had a nokia e90 with 3.2 cam but it whas way better in image at night as videos in general if i go and see the tech spec for the e71 on nokia site i see it can record @ 640x480 @ 22fps but in reality it maxes out @ 320x240 @ 15fps why didnt they just put the cam from e90 on e71 i like its bussines side with email etc but sometimes need to take pics and vids also

EXIF problems - Camera Owner

Hello,
I've the problem that after installing and the import of my photos Aperture showed in the extended EXIF the camera owner.
Meanwhile these informations are lost - the EXIF field is empty. But when I look into the EXIF data with an external EXIF viewer the owner field is not empty. And also at all imported photos (respective their original files) I can find the owner details with the EXIF Viewer.
When I import new pictures the EXIF camera owner field is empty, even if the original files still have this information.
I already reinstalled the Mac OS X 10.5.1 and Aperture as well but the EXIF data about the Camera Owner is still missing.
Can you please help?

Yes, the same problem occured by a friend who imported photos and the owner name showed up. After a while the owner name was not displayed anymore. Strange behaviour. I already reported this to Apple on the Aperture Feedback Site but I didn't got a response would be nice to hear something like yes we could reproduce and try to fix or something like that....

Creative cloud License problem / Camera raw problem / Linked ?

I have bought a CC 1 year licence.
Quite every time I start Photoshop CS 6 it says that the CC trial period has expired (I installed CS6 premium from trial a few days before CC was activated)
It ask to connect oline to activate - then it activate properly but again next time I open ask for activation.But if I am not online it's not working !!!!
Each time i try to use camera Raw from bridge (command + R ) it says that a proper software needs to be activated before so I can't do batch processing but if I try to open one raw image in photoshop from bridge it opens camera Raw then opens properly in Photoshop CS6.
Is there a link between the two problem ?? why ask for activation every time ? how to use Camera Raw ? How to work ofline????

Two MacBook Problems - Camera and Startup

Alright, I just got my MacBook recently, and I have two minor problems.
1) The camera. I open PhotoBooth, and it just shows a green screen. I used to be able to take pictures, but now all it does it show a green screen. And the green status light by the lens on the screen is on, and it won't turn off.
2) Slowness. Not majorly slow, it's just not going as fast as it did when I first got it, which was about four days ago. Startup is a bit slow, as is running programs. Can I do anything to resolve this?

and for the slowness try this applications>utilities> disk utility> select ur hd (not the first one the bottom one) and verify disk permissions and repair them if neccessary
