E72 Bluetooth headset charger

hi,
I just bought E72 white edition with bluetooth headset  2 days ago
I just wonder how I can charge it!!, because I can't see any AC-3 charger in the box
thank you

Non-white E72s use the same charger for the headset. Are you sure that isn't the case with the white model?

I'm curious how the dual dock charges the iPhone bluetooth headset. It looks like the area where the microphone is on the headset is also the charging contacts. Is that so?

  • E72 bluetooth headset problems

    Hi guys
I just got my E72 2 days, so far so good for me except for this weird bluetooth problem.
When using bluetooth headset for calls, the connection with the headset will be dropped but the call will remain online. I had to switch over the handset. The headset will indicate that the connection had been dropped but the phone will still show that it is connected to the headset. Previously i had the similiar problem with E71 but the E71 will drop the headset connection after a while. Once in a while, all i need to do is to toggle the bluetooth setting off and on to recover the bluetooth connectivity. E72 keep showing that the headset connection is active even if i toggle the bluetooth connection off.
The error setting can only be solved by restarting the phone. does anyone have a solution for this? maybe new firmware from nokia to address such problem? or am i the only one with this problem

I just talket to Nokia's helpdesk. They say that the E72 har microsoft bluetooth stack, and Plantronics uses toshiba bluetooth stack. They therefore do not guarantee compability.
So Nokia and Plantronics Voyager Pro does not work together.
I am having this problem even with Nokia BH-904 headset, not only with another brand (Jabra JX10 Series II in my case). So this theory does not hold.
However, it seems my E72 had re-adjusted itslef somehow. I still get the headset disconnected, but I do not have to power-cycle the phone anymore. I just have to turn off and back on the bluetooth headset and it will re-connect with the phone, even during conversation. It takes a a few seconds, but I do not have to end the conversation anymore, just keep talking on the handset while I power off and back on the headset. If course it is difficult when driving :-)

  • Update 1.0.1 no longer recognizes Apple Bluetooth headset

Interesting, after applying the update I now receive the following error message when connecting my new "Apple Bluetooth headset charging connector with the headset adaptor inserted into the charging port"
This accessory is not made to work with the iPhone
Would you like to turn on Airplane mode to reduce audio interference (you will not be able to make or receive calls)?
Also, the iPhone no longer indicates that the unit is charging the Apple Bluetooth headset.
Further, I am unable to use my Bluetooth headset. General settings indicates that it is paired but will not allow me to use my headset WHICH I ONLY RECEIVED YESTERDAY! Worked fine prior to the update.
Pitiful update release on Apples part. I am very concerned that Apples QA deployment is lack-luster.

    AH HA!
I figured it out. I unplugged the cable from the usb port on my macbook pro and re-inserted it. voila! it now works.
despite removing the plug-end that goes into the iphone made no difference. removing the cable entirely from both the iPhone and macbook pro fixed the problem thus far.

  • Motorola Hz800 Bluetooth headset shorts out MBA Bluetooth Module when plugged into MBA USB port for charging

This is the weiredest thing.  Everything is fine with my MBA, I have an apple bluetooth keyboard and mouse running smoothy then I plug in my Motorola HZ800 bluetooth headset using a USB to mico USB cable to my MBA to charge it and BAM! I get a the bluetooth logo with a sawtooth wave through it.  It shuts down the bluetooth module completely. I have to restart the computer to bring back the bluetooth module to life. And now my keyboard won't pair again, but that's a whole other issue.  Any reason why this would be?  Thanks.

Yes.  USB ports are limited to a maximum of 500 ma of current.  Check the current rating on the charger for your headset.  It is probably higher than 500 ma.  It overloads the port forcing it to shut down.

  • Charge Level of Bluetooth Headset on OS X

Is it possible to see the charge state of a Bluetooth headset on OS X? On iOS, you can see it in the status bar.

Using a headset needs several steps even needed if you have the latest computer or Mac OS X release. Please make sure to follow them in order.
Download the Apple Bluetooth Firmware Updater
    Install it
Launch it from Applications > Utilities > Bluetooth Updater
Apply it to your adapter (takes very long).
Start the Apple Bluetooth Assistant and select Headset. Do not use anything else!
Make your headset Bluetooth visible. Look up the manual of your headset how to do that.
Now select the headset in System Preferences > Sound.
In most cases step 3 is missed. You have to start the already installed updater yourself (do not ask me why). Step 4 fails if your Bluetooth USB adapter is not supported by Apple and you have to go for a D-Link DBT-120 USB adapter.

  • Official Sony Bluetooth Headset for PS3 charging time?

I was using my Sony PS3 Bluetooth Headset today and it needed to charge. Like anyone would do I took the cable and plugged it into the wall using. I plugged it in at noon. It is now 10:41 PM and it is still showing a red light meaning it is still charging. Is this normal? I bought it a few months ago and only charged it maybe 10 times, none as long as this one. My normal charging time is around 2-3 hours.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums.

  • How do I charge my Apple Bluetooth Headset in the car?

    Hi there,
I have the Apple Bluetooth Headset, but I'm yet to find a way to charge it in the car. I've tried plugging the USB cable it came with into a USB car charger adapter, but it doesn't work!
Can anyone give me any suggestions please?
    Thanks!
    Kt

I'm in the same situation, but I'm considering buying a car charger that can support the 120V plug-in, just like in the house. I'll probably plug-in my MB, iPhone and BT all at the same time. I'll keep you posted.

  • Apple Bluetooth Headset Stops charging.

There is a reported problem regarding a small electrical shock that users are getting when they use the MACBOOK Pro plugged in using the Apple supplied two prong electrical adapter. I have experienced this first hand.
I have had to replace three bluetooth headsets after charging them thru the USB with the MACBOOK Pro ungrounded.
Is it possible that because the power cord is ungrounded that it is shorting out the Bluetooth Headset?

I dunno, but I would take your MBP and it's power supply to an Apple Store if you have one handy. Let the Genii check it out.

  • Apple Bluetooth Headset not charging correctly on Dual Dock?

    Hey guys,
I've been using my bluetooth headset for about 6 months now. I charge my headset on the included dual dock, and it's very cool because it shows the battery level on my iPhone's screen. However, it doesn't seem to charge the headset correctly.
When my headset is almost completely drained of power, and I plug the headset into the dual dock to charge, it would show it to be almost fully charged just a few minutes later. Then I when pick up the headset and re-insert it, it would start charging from a very low point again.
I wanted to see if it was just the indicator's problem, so I left the headset on the dock overnight. Still, in the morning, unplug and re-insert would make it charge again, from a low battery state.
Is the headset or dock broken? Or is this just how bad the battery is?

Yeah, this happens to me to. I found out a quick fix though that seems to work. I select the "Settings" widget; then select the "General" tab; then I re-select the Bluetooth tab (obviously, we have it all set to "ON".) By re-selecting the Bluetooth tab, the phone then seems to look for the headset. Sometimes I might have to press the button on the headset once while I'm in this section of the screen. It then finds it.
But like the rest of you, I first press the button multiple times on my headset. If it doesn't pair by the second time I press that button, I then do the above stuff. But, yes, I agree with you all its really annoying when the headset and phone loses its pairing.....

  • Apple bluetooth headset don't charge

Hi, after upgrading to iOS 5, my iPhone don't want to charge my apple bluetooth headset. I tried to disconnect it from the bluetooth settings on iPhone, tried to connect the headset on the double cable. It pairs, but don't charge anymore.
It is so strange. Previously iOS4 didn't have problems at all.
Anyone knows something to solve this problem?
    Thanks,

    Solved.
I disconnected the pairing from the iPhone settings. Then turned off bluetooth and switched off the headset.
Mounted the cable on the wall to charge it, turned on the bluetooth headset while attached to the cable.
    Everything worked fine.

  • Apple bluetooth headset will no long charge with 2.0.1!

So today I decided to update my iPhone (3G), I noticed that my Apple bluetooth headset was low on charge so I plugged in my headset to be told that "This accessory is not compatible with this iphone"!
Not only did apple screw me on the shape of the new iPhone stopping me using the dock for my bluetooth headset but they have now stopped me from charging my headset with my phone! I am now officially going back to my old iPhone.

    Hello Kai.dean,
Out of curiosity... I just tried mine, and its working just fine.
Wonder what's up with yours not working?
I'm using the "travel" cable that came with the Appple Bluetooth (since the 3G does not fit into the base any longer) and no problems at all? Charging... and still shows up on the 3G screen.
I was able to make calls using my Apple Bluetooth, 3G, and the new 2.0.1 software.

  • My iPhone 5 won't link to my bluetooth headset.

My iPhone 5 won't link to my bluetooth headset (Samsung).  It  just continuously shows 'searching'.  I've restarted the phone and bluetooth headset (fully charged) but it still can't find it.

  • Callers Can't Hear Me on Multiple Bluetooth Headsets

After getting tired of having my corded headphones ripped out of my ears when they get snagged on doorknobs I broke down and bought a wireless Bluetooth headphones (a Samsung Circle).
I was able to pair it with no issue.
    I could hear music fine.
    I could stream Sirius XM.
I could voice-to-text with no issue.
I could voice-to-text (email) with no issue.
I could voice-to-text (Facebook Messenger) with no issue.
I could talk to Siri with no issue.
However, when I was trying to talk on the phone, the person on the other side could NOT hear me, but I could hear them.
I dismissed this as a faulty headphones and returned it to Best Buy. I got a different one, a different brand and everything. Got the exact same result.
This is ridiculous. So I tried my Plantronics bluetooth headset which worked in the past. Now THAT ONE isn't working. I can hear callers, but they can't hear me. So that's three different Bluetooth headsets.
    My earbuds work fine.
    My speakerphone works fine.
The standard iPhone handset works fine.
The problem is isolated to Bluetooth headsets (single ear and double), while using the phone... people just can't hear me. I tried muting/unmuting and that didn't work either. I can click back and forth between the speaker and iPhone and they work fine, but I switch to the Bluetooth and nothing. No one can hear me.
I have an iPhone 5s running 8.1.3. I tried restarted, synching, deleting all the Bluetooth connections and rediscovering them ... nothing.

I've had this same problem for a while now. iPhone 5s on Verizon, and same issue with Blueant, Jabra, and Plantronics headsets.
Sometimes the people on the other end can hear me, most of the time not. I can always hear them.
I had the Blueant headset for a while and it worked fine. It was just a cheap one to keep me going until I got another one. Got the Jabra Supreme, it worked fine for a while but then started intermittently not transmitting my voice to the listener. I can hear them fine but they can't hear me. Thought it was the headset, so got the Plantronics Voyager Edge bluetooth headset but same issue. Can't figure out if it was concurrent with a system update or not that the problem manifested itself, but it wasn't apparent from the getgo, so it started sometime after I'd been using the phone with headset for a while.
I'm glad (but sorry) to read that your wiping the device didn't make a difference as I was just about to try that, but don't want to do so if it's not going to make a difference.
Just updated to 8.3 today, so hoping that maybe something will be different. Charging up all 3 headsets now in hopes that problem will be miraculously gone.
No one seems to have a clue as to why this is, what could be causing it, and what to do about it. Frustrating to say the least. I had a Plantronics with my cheap old flip phone and it was fantastic. I used it for business every day. Now I'm relegated to using the speaker phone on the iPhone until I can get this figured out.
