Solved!
Go to Solution.

I had the same problem but found the solutaion by chance.
1. On the lowest row of keys push the second one on the left (arrow upward). It is "Shift" if I am not mistaken.
2. Immidiately after press nearest key to the right "Sym" (not simulteneously)
Window with languages should pop up.
Those who have had experience with E-71 know, that this function is available when you have opened a new sms or e-mail. But it does not work in an ordinary waiting mode.

Alexander

  • E72 - add input language

    Hello!
I just got myself a brand new E72 and am quite happy with it. The only problem so far - but a very serious one for me! - is that I cannot type in Bulgarian. Right now I have English, French, German, Dutch and Romanian input languages.
Is there a way to have Bulgarian added?
Thank you all for your help!

In the world of software nothing is impossible I believe so what do they know after all
Not absolutely everything is possible using software ! What they mean is they don't have a Bulgarian language that they can add to the phone and have no plans to either

Why can't I no longer change the writing language in Safari (V 5.0.5) from US English to Hebrew? I used them both for more than 3 years on my MacBook (OS X 10.5.8) , both from the "International Input Menu". Thanks!

    Click: Edit List
Make your selection from the: Order for sorted lists pop up menu.

  • How to change input language from english to spanish

    Hi guys,
I have the British flag and Spanish flag options in top right but when I click on spainish flag and type in spanish it corrects in english.
How can  make it so i can type in Spanish or English.
    Thanks,

In OS X the spell check and correction do not relate to the keyboard you are using.  They are set in system prefs/language & text/text/spelling.  Or in the app under Edit > Spelling and Grammar (in Pages it is Inspector > Text > More > Language)

  • I cannot change my input language from multitap to suretype.

I've tried going to language under device options and switching the input language, but under input language options there is English (United Kingdom) and English (United States), no "ensure multitap" or "ensure suretype." I tried going to the body of a text message and email and opening the menu and clicking on "change input language" but once again my options are English (United Kingdom) and English (United States), no "ensure multitap" or "ensure suretype." I also tried going to the body of a text message or email and holding the * key for 2 to 3 seconds and still nothing happened.
I just got this new phone two days ago and when I inserted the battery and turned it on it was on suretype. This is what I wanted. Last night I locked the phone when I went out to dinner and when I unlocked it after dinner I went to reply to a text and it was in multitap mode although I never changed it. Now I can't change it back. Please help!
    [email protected]

To switch from multitap to suretype and vice versa you need to be in a field where you can type text.  Then hit the menu key and select "Enable SureType" or "Enable MultiTap."

  • Change keyboard input language without changing spotlight shortcut

I have bought a macbook air recently and installed a second input language. Instead of changing the input language manually each time I want to have a shortcut but the system seems to have only one option which is the "command+space" shortcut, the one for spotlight. This means that I can not have them both at the same time. Help please!

I am trying but i only get to check/uncheck "command+space" on both of them. My question is how to do it manually?

  • E72 or E7 with additional input languages and spel...

    Hi.
I have a E72 with swedish keyboard and a language package with english, swedish and finnish.
i am occasionally writing messages in other languages as well (norwegian and polish).
norwegian input is not a problem, i just use the Symbol key. Polish symbols are not possible though.
And spellcheckers (prediction) is not possible for norwegian nor polish.
i have seen it is possible on android phones.
i really do not need a proper polish keypad as long as i can create the characters, but i would very much appreciate predictive input for norwegian and polish.
Is there a way to add polish as an input language and add the two spellchecker languages without changing the language package from swedish on the E72?
    how about the E7?

    Hi
These phones only have standard language packs, so you can't add what you want. There is a complete list of all the language packs somewhere, but I have no idea, which of them contain Polish. Mine has Danish, English, Icelandic and Norwegian...
I would love Brazilian Portuguese, which I write quite a lot, but then with Portuguese you _can_ get away with no accents at all, although it doesn't look very nice...

  • Input source (input language) changes incorrectly

Snow Leopard finally has this beautiful feature to save the input source state for every application! I've missed this very much. But... It doesn't work for me correctly.
    The problem:
SnowLeo doesn't remember the input source for every application and changes randomly. Here's example: I'm opening Safari, Mail and TextEdit (all native Leo apps), writing in English in Safari + Mail and in Bulgarian in TextEdit. When switching applications the input language doesn't stay the same - after TexEdit , Safari must stay with English, but I'm writing in Bulgarian. And so on.
    What I've tried:
As I said, this happens totally random, I've spent a LOT of time trying to find out some logical pattern or something, but with no luck. I tried to switch languages with mouse only, to disable the keyboard shortcut, to change the language (I've tried Canadian I think), to use different applications, to quit (almost) every process, different account an even different MacOS install on a external USB HDD!!! Funny, but on the fresh installed OS I had the same bug for 10-15 min. and then (after the same tests as before) it somehow disappeared (I think). The same was with the different account on my original HDD - the first time the problem was here, then it just wasn't here. TOTALLY unusual and with no logic at all!!!
I have some friends with Macs and everyone of us is using English and Bulgarian input layouts. And Nobody has a problem except me!
I have 15 years of computer experience (3 of them with Macs) and I'm working as a System administrator, so it's natural for me to troubleshoot all kind of problems, but after month I gave up on this!
The MacMini and the MacOS are both legal with nothing strange connected.

I use 2 keyboard layouts : canadian french for most of my applications (Pages, Microsoft Word, etc) and US English for Photoshop because most Photoshop keyboard shortcuts don't work in canadian french.
The problem is that even if I set Photoshop to US english, it reverts to Canadian French. It usually happens when I switch applications or hide Photoshop and bring it back up again. It is very annoying and the only way I found to stop this, is to turn off "Allow a different one for each document" in the Input Sources preferences pane. I thought the purpose of this option was to assign a different input source or keyboard layout to different applications.

  • Is there a way to permanently change the input language in the login screen?

Whenever I start my iMac with Mavericks, after the boot is complete and the login window appears, I have the change the language in the top right corner from US to DE, else I can't type in my password. Mavericks does not remember this setting, next time after startup I have to do it again. The original owner of this Mac was using US as input language, so I guess that's where it's coming from. This extra step of changign language only takes a few seconds, but many times I forget it and try to enter my password but it will not work. There must be a console command or somethign that can fix this? Thank you!

I managed to find the solution myself. If anyone is interested, just follow those steps here:

  • How to change the input language ?

    Hello,
I am writing an Add-on that needs to change the input language when the user
clicks on the Item Code field ("5") in the "Item Master Data" form.
I can perform the change when I am out side of the SAP application (for example if I create a Windows Form), however I cannot control the input language of the SAP itself through code.
I even tried using Application.Sendkeys, however I was unable to send a combination of ALT+SHIFT, or at least it did not have any affect
Here is the code on how to change the input language on a Windows Form:
For Each Lng As system.Windows.Forms.InputLanguage In system.Windows.Forms.InputLanguage.InstalledInputLanguages
       sValue = Lng.Culture.DisplayName.ToUpper()
       If sValue.StartsWith("ENGLISH") Then
                        system.Windows.Forms.InputLanguage.CurrentInputLanguage = Lng
                        Exit For
        End If
    Next
    Any ideas ?

I am not sure I understand the problem. Anyway in B1 you change the language by
changing it from the Administration module. This raises a Application event that
is sent to all the add-ons. The event is aet_LanguageChanged and you should
then change the language handled by your add-on when you receive it.

  • How to STOP OS X from automatically changing between language input methods

I want to know if there is a way in OS X Leopard to stop the system from automatically changing the language input method. I use English and Japanese on my computer, but this would apply to anyone using more than one input method.
For example, when I click on a Japanese-language file, the system automatically changes input to Kotoeri (the Japanese-language input method). When I then click on an English-language file it usually, but not always, changes back to English input. But I almost never want to TYPE in Japanese. I just need to be able to read Japanese and to cut and paste from Japanese language files. It is very annoying when I start typing in an English-language file and find the input method has been changed to kotoeri without me realizing it—everything comes out in meaningless Japanese. When I want to type in Japanese, I want to manually change to the Japanese input system. That is, I want English to always be the default input method even if I am manipulating Japanese-language files.
So, I’m wondering if there’s a way to set the computer so that it never AUTOMATICALLY switches between the input methods. I want to be able to switch only manually. In the old days of System 7, 8, and 9, there was a third-party control panel you could get that would do this (I think it was called Stay There!) and I don't remember this being a problem in Tiger or earlier versions of OS X. Is anyone aware of any way to do this in Leopard?
    Thank you!
    Colin

Well, I do have it set that way, and I can look up there to see where I am, but in the work I do time is critical and I move back and forth between the two languages frequently. It is really a pain and a waste of time to have to look and make a change that should be unnecessary. The problem is not so much that I don't know where I am. It's that I don't want to ever have to think I MIGHT be in anything but English input unless I specifically want to be. In other words, I need to be able to forget about this problem even being a possibility.
