E72 Hotmail in the email list erased???? Setting u...

Hello there,
I have a major problem which probably is very simple but I have tried so much but nothing is working. I got a new e72 and the mail has been working before when I was abroad in Turkey. When I came to sweden the problems began. Impossible to set up the email + applications not working such as skype.
I cannot see the hotmail option in the email list when setting up a new email. I have tried setting the factory settings again but with no luck at all. I only get 3 e-mail options: 1) mail for exchange 2)POP/IMAP 3)LOTUS NOTES TRAVELER. Before I could see the hotmail live email in the list, not any longer. I would appreciate the help a lot.

How can I avoid a pop-up when I'm going from an email to the email list?

I use Mozilla firefox to go online. When I've opened an email I've received and then want to return from that email to the email list, I click "backspace." Half the time, it gets me back to the email list. The other half the time, a window pops up, saying:
"To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier" and I have to choose to cancel or resend. I always click resend. I don't want this window to pop-up. When I read an email and then hit the backspace key, I just want to get back to the email list.

Don't use backspace to go back to that page. Either open the link in a new tab with a middle-click and close that tab to go back or click a link to go back to the inbox if there is such a link on that page.

I am trying to reset my security questions but the email listed is missing a letter.

Anyone know how to reset security questions if the email listed is missing the a in "yahoo"? My ID is correct but not the email address associated with security questions and I don't see any way to change the email.

It isn't possible to change the rescue email address without correctly answering two of the questions. Nobody on these boards can reset them for you.

If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

If you mean when you are reading email in the mail app.....
Tap on the word "Mailboxes" in the upper left corner of the mail app - next to the name of your Exchange email account. That will take you back to the list of all of the Mailboxes on your iPad.
The mail app will always go back to where you were when you left the app. So if you were reading mail in your Exchange account and then you leave the app (without quitting the app) it will take you back to that email that you were reading when you come back.

I had a similar problem in that my wife's iphone 5 could not send pics with imessage. Had to set the settings to default to SMS or whatever. After laboring many hours on the web I coincidentally was on the phone with the internet people to question my internet speed. They changed the router channel, which is something that I am capable of doing myself. After that, the pics go over imessage. My own Iphone didn't have the problem. We are both latest IOS 7.0.6.

How do I jump to the top of the email list on an iPad?

On the iPhone I can tap the status bar to jump to the top of the list of my unified inbox. But on the iPad that doesn't work. Tapping the center or right of the status bar in iPad email does nothing, tapping on the left side near the Wi-Fi symbol reveals my list of mailboxes. I have to manually swipe and swipe and swipe and swipe to get to the top of my email list. Is there no shortcut?
Having the scrollbar showing position on the list disappear isn't helpful either.

I found the sweet spot mid- way between Inbox and Edit at the very top of the screen. I checked both the iPhone and iPad User Guides and couldn't find any mention of it. Thanks for the tip.

This can be done directly on the iPad by holding your finger on the app that you'd like to delete until it wiggles. Once it's wiggling, tap the 'x' in the corner of its icon.

Is there any way of turning off the email list from showing the first two lines of body text. I just want to see a list of senders!

I would just like to view the incoming emails as a list without having to see the first two lines, as it's harder to view and search through, and we already have the preview pane for that! Help, I can't find where to adjust it!
