E72 - how to remove email addresses in the email c...

The E72's email client seems to gather its own list of email addresses. This is over and above what is in your phone address book.
Is there any way to clear out these? I have some which the email is no longer valid and its annoying (the company had a domain name change so first.last@ is the same but the @xxx.com has changed to @yyy.com and it sorts on alphabetical order of first.last and you have to be VERY careful not to accidentally send to the wrong invalid email address
thanks

In addition to using the Bcc header, you can create a Group in AddressBook, and put the name of the Group in the To header. Then if you have selected in Mail Preferences/Composing to not check the box beside When sending to a group, show all memberaddresses, then the To address will ready Undisclosed-recipients. Using the Bcc header requires one address in the To header that everyone will see, but that can be your own email address.

  • I try to email or IM a link or comment on a website page and I get this error message: Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (ymsgr) isn't associated with any program.

    Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (ymsgr) isn't associated with any program. I try to email or IM a link or info on a web page I get this error message. How can I send an email or IM?

    Protocol error usually indicates that the very leftmost part of the URL is not recognized.
    So http://, ftp://, rtsp://, usually work.
    ableton:// would need to be added by some software somewhere...

    Can't open any links within the emails using Firefox. I can open them in other browsers however. The message reads, "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (blockedhttp) isn't associated with any program.". How can I fix this?

    Looks like blocking software to purposely block a page by messing with the url.

  • I downloaded Newest mozilla yesterday, adobe updated, and now when I click a YouTube video I get a box saying "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (rtsp) isn't associated with any program." and can't watch any videos?

    I downloaded the latest version of Mozilla Firefox yesterday, full and complete, and I am actually using it right now. The only problem I have had is upon clicking any YouTube video, the box pops up saying "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (rtsp) isn't associated with any program." But there are no directions or suggestions on how to address this problem. Ive looked at YouTube add-ons and none of them really seem related. Upon the finish of the new Mozilla, I also was prompted to upgrade the flash player, and did so without any trouble. I am only guessing this is an extension/plug-in problem. I really am quite confused!

  • How to remove links pointing to the same page?

    I have PDF documents with Links which point to sections referenced (e.g. link of text "Section 2.2" points to the actual page number of "Section 2.2"), but as the links are created from cross-references during rendition from Word to PDF, there are cases that the destination page number and source page number of the links are the same (e.g. links of text "Section 2.2" on page 9 are created with the destination of page 9 which is the actual page number of "Section 2.2"), I want to remove all these links, but I don't know how to get the destination page, I check the API reference and find that "PDLinkAnnotGetAction" may work , but I don't know how to use it, could you check me codes below and advise ? Your help is really appreciated!
    PDPage page;
    ASInt32 i,i2;
    AVDoc avDoc = AVAppGetActiveDoc();
    PDDoc pdDoc = AVDocGetPDDoc (avDoc);
    int pageNum = PDDocGetNumPages(pdDoc);
    for (i = pageNum - 1; i >= 0; i--)
    page = PDDocAcquirePage(pdDoc, i);
    int annotNum = PDPageGetNumAnnots(page);
    for (i2 = annotNum - 1; i2 >= 0; i2--)
      if...
      PDPageRemoveAnnot(i, i2);
    My Product Information:
    Acrobat Pro 8.1.6, Windows

    Start by reading the PDF standard (ISO 32000-1) to understand Actions vs. Destinations.
    Then for each annot, you'll want to see which it has (and in the case of an Action, if it has more than one).  Then you need to parse the action or dest to see what it is and where it goes.  If you don't like it, then you'll delete it.

  • Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (mf)

    whan i try to download anything i got the msg: Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (mf)
    any help pls?

    Does this happen often, or just on one specific link? It sounds like the link on the web page is broken and contains "mf:" instead of "http:".
    If it's a public website, can you post the address of the page containing the link? If not, you could try to report the problem if there is a feedback email address on the web page.

  • I received the following error when attempting to use HP SimplePass Identity Protection to manage my passwords; Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (dpql) isn't associated with any program. How can I correct this?

    I use HP SimplePass Identity Protection to control my passwords. Everything was fine until I updated to Firefox 4. Can I remove version 4 or is there a solution to my problem. I received the following error message; Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (dpql) isn't associated with any program.

    You'll have to downgrade to the previous secure version I regret to say. See https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/799388
    Go to [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html Download Firefox v3.6.17] and download it to the desktop.<br><br>
    Then go to Add/Remove Programs, scroll down to "Mozilla Firefox" and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc., (don't checkmark the box).<br><br>
    Then reboot and delete the folder called "Mozilla Firefox" at this location: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox<br><br>
    Finally run the installation file you downloaded to the desktop earlier.<br><br>
    Your bookmarks, customizations etc., are maintained in a different location and will become available to you again once you complete the installation.<br><br>
    After you complete the installation, go to the [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/ Plugins Check] page and update those where necessary.

    There is not a way to remove them from the list.  Just let them download, and then delete them from your library when they are done.

    I am trying to get to a college webpage for information and get this error message from firefox Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (html) isn't associated with any program.
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
    == whe trying to access webpage

    Is this coming from a link, or from something you are trying to type in the address bar?
    Try replacing the "html" at the start with "http",
    so if you have html://somesite.edu,
    change it to http://somesite.edu.

  • HP Protect tool password manager not working with the new version of Mozilla: I got this alert: "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (dpql) isn't associated with any program." please help

    I have an HP ProBook 4520s. I have been using HP Protect tool's Password manager to store and manage my passords for all Login websites in Firefox 3.6. As a result, I just swiped my fingerprint to log on to any website.
    After I installed the version 4 of Firefox, my all my login details do not work anymore. I have tried to reset them but I repeatedly get this error: "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (dpql) isn't associated with any program."
    something like this would have been passed onto the address: "dpql://c:\program%20files%20(x86)\hewlett-packard\hp%20protecttools%20security%20manager\bin\dpminionlineids.dll/qlinkload.htm#id=2".
    Although the password manager works with Internet Explorer 9, I need it to work with Firefox 4 as this is my preferred browser.
    Please help. Thank you!

    I guess this means that IE is more user friendly for HP Password Manager finger swipe recall of passwords, a favorite of mine. I still don't see a post from Firefox as to why they haven't produced fix. So I'll switch to IE until things change. I don't see value in downgrading to a Firefox version that's no longer going to be supported.

    I typed in the IPv6 address of the printer in the address feild of firefox.

    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
    *Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
